| 2 | Comprehensive Assessment of Seawater Quality Based on an Improved Attribute Recognition Model显示文摘The attribute recognition model (ARM) has been widely used to make comprehensive assessment in many engineering fields, such as environment, ecology, and economy. However, large numbers of experiments indicate that the value of weight vector has no relativity to its initial value but depends on the data of Quality Standard and actual samples. In the present study, the ARM is enhanced with the technique of data driving, which means some more groups of data from the Quality Standard are selected with the uniform random method to make the calculation of weight values more rational and more scientific. This improved attribute recognition model (IARM) is applied to a real case of assessment on seawater quality. | 4 | Exploration of Multifocal Rod Electroretinograms Recording in Human显示文摘Purpose:To test the feasibility of recording rod multifocal electroretinograms (ERG) in humans and observe appropriate recording conditions.Methods: Multifocal rod ERG were recorded using a stimulus array of 61 equalsized hexagons in two normal subjects after the dark adaptation. Flashes were blue (W47B). Blank frames between two successive flashes of hexagons varied from 0 to 14. Length of the m-sequence, bandwidth, flash frequency, flash intensities and background intensities were changed to obtain appropriate recording conditions for the clinical use.Results:Multifocal rod ERG were clearly recordable and well formed. They had an early implicit time, very small negative wave and a late implicit time, large positive wave. The positive wave was bimodal, whose timing and waveform were similar to the full-field rod ERG. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic analysis.During the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological breakthroughs.In this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. Heat transfer performance of two-section TPCT wellbores is affected by working medium, combination mode and oil flow rate. Different working media are introduced into the upper and lower TPCTs, which may achieve a better match between the working medium and the temperature field in the wellbores. Interdependence exists between the combination mode and the flow rate of the oil, which affects the heat transfer performance of a two-section TPCT wellbore. | 13 | The phased chromosome-scale genome of yellowhorn sheds light on the mechanism of petal color change显示文摘Yellowhorn(Xanthoceras sorbifolium), especially its varieties, is the red petal yellowhorn(X. sorbifolium var. purpurea), an important tree species with great ornamental value, and its flower petals change color throughout the flowering period. In this study, we mainly focused on the mechanism of the petal color change with transcriptomics and metabolomics data. A phased chromosome-scale assembly of the red petal yellowhorn genome was generated using the PacBio high-fidelity reads, Illumina short reads, and Phase genomics Proximo Hi-C data. The final de novo assembly yielded 533.67 Mb with a contig N50 of 5.42 Mb, and 27 501 protein-coding genes were predicted. Notably, an alternate haplotig assembly was also obtained. Furthermore, a variation database for the alleles within the genome was constructed. Subsequently, the expression pattern of flower pigmentation-related genes and allelic expression imbalance events were investigated. Apart from 6 genes involved in the anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway regulated by the activation of 15 MYB-bHLH-WD40s, the increased expression of senescencerelated gene 1(SRG1) and 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase(DIOX5) might also result in decreasing content of lutein and increasing abundance of(E/Z)-phytoene, cyanidin-3-O-rutinoside, and cyanidin-3-O-sambubioside. These changes in genes and metabolites were most likely related to the petal color change in red petal yellowhorn. | 14 | MBD2 promotes Th2 differentiation in ovalbumin-induced CD4+T cells显示文摘Introduction:Allergen-specific CD4+T cells play a central role in autoimmune disorders,allergies and asthma,with Th2-type immunity being the typical functional response of CD4+T cells.This study aimed to investigate the role of MBD2 in regulating Th2 cell differentiation.Methods:Splenic mononuclear cells were extracted from C57BL/6 mice,and CD4+T cells were isolated using magnetic beads and confirmed through flow cytometry.Lentivirus was employed to construct MBD2-silenced CD4+T cells.In vitro experiments were performed to treat splenogenic mononuclear cells and CD4+T cells with Ovalbumin(OVA),and Th2 cell ratios and IL-4 levels were assessed using flow cytometry and ELISA.Results:The purity of the isolated CD4+T cells was 95.73%,confirming successful isolation of primary CD4+T cells.Compared to the control group,the Th2 cell ratio exhibited an increase in the Th2-induced group.Treatment with 5-Aza(concentrations,1-100μM)promoted Th2 cell differentiation and increased IL-4 levels.Notably,when combined with Th2 induction and 10μM 5-Aza treatment,silencing MBD2 further amplified Th2 cell ratios and elevated IL-4 levels in cell supernatants.Furthermore,OVA(concentration,200μg/mL)induced the differentiation of CD4+T cells into Th2 cells and increased IL-4 secretion.Interestingly,silencing MBD2 significantly increased the Th2 cell ratio and IL-4 levels in OVA-treated CD4+T cells.Conclusion:In summary,OVA promoted CD4+T cell differentiation into Th2 cells and enhanced IL-4 levels.MBD2 was identified as a mediator of Th2 cell differentiation in splenic-derived CD4+T cells,influenced by OVA or 5-Aza treatment. | QILU PAN YAN JIANG LINQIAO LI XIAOJING DU QIAN HAN FEIXIANG LING ROU LI SHUYUAN CHU LIN MAI JIANWEI HUANG LIBING MA | 2023 | BIOCELL2023，47，11： | 0 |
| 15 | Hepatoblastoma with neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis:Two case reports显示文摘We report two children with hepatoblastoma(HB)with a history of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC).Case 1 was diagnosed with HB at 5 months of age.Liver enlargement was found during the NEC operation at 3 months of age and then was clinically diagnosed by imaging.After six chemotherapy courses,a partial hepatectomy was performed.Three months after ceasing the chemotherapy,a chest computed tomography scan suggested that distant metastasis of the tumor should be considered,and the lesion was removed.However,9 months after the operation,alpha-fetoprotein concentrations were increased,and abdominal imaging showed a recurrence of the tumor in situ,resulting in a hepatectomy.Case 2 was diagnosed with NEC shortly after birth and underwent an intestinal resection and anastomosis 1 month later.He was diagnosed with HB at 3 years of age.Hepatectomy was performed after five courses of chemotherapy.Chemotherapy was stopped after 10 courses,and alpha-fetoprotein concentrations were normal.At present,both children have survived and are in a healthy condition.Physicians should be aware of the possibility of HB and a history of NEC in children.Premature birth and low birth weight are common factors leading to the pathogenesis of HB and NEC.The association between these two diseases requires further study。 | Sidou He Xisi Wang Chao Duan Wen Zhao Chiyi Jiang Shihan Zhang Binglin Jian Wei Yang Tong Yu Libing Fu Huanmin Wang Xiaoli Ma | 2023 | Cancer Innovation2023，2，6： | 0 |
| 16 | Identification of Germline Mutations in East‑Asian Young Never‑Smokers with Lung Adenocarcinoma by Whole‑Exome Sequencing显示文摘Recently,an increasing number of young never-smokers are diagnosed with lung cancer.The aim of this study is to investigate the genetic predisposition of lung cancer in these patients and discover candidate pathogenic variants for lung adenocarcinoma in young never-smokers.Peripheral blood was collected from 123 never-smoking east-Asian patients diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma before the age of 40.Whole-exome sequencing(WES)was conducted on genomic DNA extracted from peripheral blood cells.As a result,3,481 single nucleotide variants were identified.By bioinformatical tools and the published gene list associated with genetic predisposition of cancer,pathogenic variants were detected in ten germline genes:ATR,FANCD2,FANCE,GATA2,HFE,MSH2,PDGFRA,PMS2,SDHB,and WAS.Patients with pathogenic variants were more likely to occur in females(9/10,90.0%)and have stage IV lung adenocarcinoma(4/10,40%).Furthermore,germline muta-tions in 17 genes(ASB18,B3GALT5,CLEC4F,COL6A6,CYP4B1,C6orf132,EXO1,GATA4,HCK,KCP,NPHP4,PIGX,PPIL2,PPP1R3G,RRBP1,SALL4,and TTC28),which occurred in at least two patients,displayed potentially pathogenic effects.Gene ontology analysis further showed that these genes with germline mutations were mainly located in nucleo-plasm and associated with DNA repair-related biological processes.The study provides spectrum of pathogenic variants and functional explanation for genetic predisposition of lung adenocarcinoma in young never-smokers,which sheds a light on prevention and early diagnosis of lung cancer. | Fangqiu Fu Xiaoting Tao Zhonglin Jiang Zhendong Gao Yue Zhao Yuan Li Hong Hu Libing Shen Yihua Sun Yang Zhang | 2023 | Phenomics2023，3，2： | 0 |

| 19 | A Macular Hole in a Female Adult with Bilateral Coats Disease显示文摘Purpose: To report a case of a macular hole in a female adult with bilateral Coats disease.Methods:The fundus photograph, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) were performed in two eyes, and observed theirs characters.Results:Fundus photograph showed massive yellowish-white exudation in the temporal midperiphery of both eyes, but the degree was slighter in the right eye. There was 1/3 DD macular hole in left eye. FFA revealed general dilatation of capillaries, multiple aneurysms, and tortuous and closure of vessels in superotemporal midperiphery in both eyes, but the degree was slighter in the right eye. There was a one-third DD round transmitted fluorescence according the macula hole. ICGA revealed that hyperfluorescence of aneurysms in superotemporal midperiphery, the images of aneurysms were more clearly than in FFA. There was a 2/3 DD hypoflurescence of macula in the late phase of angiography.Conclusions: FFA and ICGA have respective advantage in revealing vascular abnormalities of Coats disease.
