| 2 | Regulating electrolytic Fe_(0.5)CoNiCuZn_(x) high entropy alloy electrodes for oxygen evolution reactions in alkaline solution显示文摘The properties of high entropy alloys(HEAs)depend on their phase structures and compositions.However,it is difficult to control the composition of the HEAs that contain highly volatile metals by the conventional arc melting method.In this paper,homogeneous powdery face centered cubic(FCC)phase Fe_(0.5)CoNiCuZn_(x) HEAs were prepared by the electrolysis of metal oxides in molten Na_(2)CO_(3)-K_(2)CO_(3) using a stable Ni11Fe10Cu inert oxygen-evolution anode.The use of oxide precursors and relatively low synthetic temperature are beneficial to efficiently preparing HEAs that contain highly volatile elements such as Zn.Moreover,the microstructures and compositions of the electrolytic HEAs can be easily tailored by adjusting the components of oxide precursors,then further regulating its properties.Thus,the electrocatalytic activity of Fe_(0.5)Co NiCuZn_(x) HEAs towards oxygen evolution reactions(OER)was investigated in 1 M KOH.The results show that Zn promotes the OER activity of Fe_(0.5)CoNiCuZn_(x) HEAs,i.e.,the HEA(Zn_(0.8))shows the best OER activity exhibiting a low overpotential of 340 m V at 10 m A/cm^(2) and excellent stability of 24 h.Hence,molten salt electrolysis not only provides a green approach to prepare Fe_(0.5)CoNiCuZn_(x) HEAs but also offers an effective way to regulate the structure of the alloys and thereby optimizes the electrocatalytic activities for water electrolysis. | Jian Huang Peilin Wang Peng Li Huayi Yin Dihua Wang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,34: | 4 |
| 3 | Serum semaphorin 4C as a diagnostic biomarker in breast cancer:A multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Background:To date,there is no approved blood-based biomarker for breast cancer detection.Herein,we aimed to assess semaphorin 4C(SEMA4C),a pivotal protein involved in breast cancer progression,as a serum diagnostic biomarker.Methods:We included 6,213 consecutive inpatients from Tongji Hospital,Qilu Hospital,and Hubei Cancer Hospital.Training cohort and two validation cohorts were introduced for diagnostic exploration and validation.A pan-cancer cohort was used to independently explore the diagnostic potential of SEMA4C among solid tumors.Breast cancer patients who underwent mass excision prior to modified radical mastectomy were also analyzed.We hypothesized that increased pretreatment serum SEMA4C levels,measured using optimized in-house enzymelinked immunosorbent assay kits,could detect breast cancer.The endpoints were diagnostic performance,including area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC),sensitivity,and specificity.Post-surgery pathological diagnosis was the reference standard and breast cancer staging followed the TNM classification.There was no restriction on disease stage for eligibilities.Results:We included 2667 inpatients with breast lesions,2378 patients with other solid tumors,and 1168 healthy participants.Specifically,118 patients with breast cancer were diagnosed with stage 0(5.71%),620 with stage I(30.00%),966 with stage II(46.73%),217 with stage III(10.50%),and 8 with stage IV(0.39%).Patients with breast cancer had significantly higher serum SEMA4C levels than benign breast tumor patients and normal controls(P<0.001).Elevated serum SEMA4C levels had AUC of 0.920(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.900–0.941)and 0.932(95%CI:0.911–0.953)for breast cancer detection in the two validation cohorts.The AUCs for detecting early-stage breast cancer(n=366)and ductal carcinoma in situ(n=85)were 0.931(95%CI:0.916–0.946)and 0.879(95%CI:0.832–0.925),respectively.Serum SEMA4C levels significantly decreased after surgery,and the reduction was more striking after modified radical mastectomy,compared with mass excision(P<0.001).The positive rate of enhanced serum SEMA4C levels was 84.77%for breast cancer and below 20.75%for the other 14 solid tumors.Conclusions:Serum SEMA4C demonstrated promising potential as a candidate biomarker for breast cancer diagnosis.However,validation in prospective settings and by other study groups is warranted. | Ya Wang Long Qiao Jie Yang Xiong Li Yaqi Duan Jiahao Liu Shaoqi Chen Huayi Li Dan Liu Tian Fang Jingjing Ma Xiaoting Li Fei Ye Junxiang Wan Juncheng Wei Qin Xu Ensong Guo Ping Jin Mingfu Wu Lin Zhang Yun Xia Yaqun Wu Jun Shao Yaojun Feng Qing Zhang Zongyuan Yang Gang Chen Qinghua Zhang Xingrui Li Shixuan Wang Junbo Hu Xiaoyun Wang Mona P.Tan Kazuaki Takabe Beihua Kong Qifeng Yang Ding Ma Qinglei Gao | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,12: | 3 |

| 9 | The influence of the metal net charge of non-metallocene early transition metal catalyst on the ethylene polymerization activity显示文摘The net charges on central metals of a serial non-metallocene early transition metal catalysts (FI catalyst) with similar steric hindrance were caculated with MM-QEq (molecular mechmism-charge equilibration) method and associated with ethylene polymerization activities of these FI catalyts. It was found that the activity increased with the net charge on metal if ignoring the influence of the steric hindrance. In other words, introduction of strong and/or more electron-withdrawing groups onto the ligand of FI catalyst would enhance the activity of the catalyst. | 10 | Distributed cache replacement method for geospatial data using spatiotemporal localitybased sequence显示文摘Specific features of tile access patterns can be applied in a cache replacement strategy to a limited distributed high-speed cache for the cloud-based networked geographic information services(NGISs),aiming to adapt to changes in the access distribution of hotspots.By taking advantage of the spatiotemporal locality,the sequential features in tile access patterns,and the cache reading performance in the burst mode,this article proposes a tile sequence replacement method,which involves structuring a Least Recently Used(LRU)stack into three portions for the different functions in cache replacement and deriving an expression for the temporal locality and popularity of the relevant tile to facilitate the replacement process.Based on the spatial characteristics of both the tiles and the cache burst mode with regard to reading data,the proposed method generates multiple tile sequences to reflect spatiotemporal locality in tile access patterns.Then,we measure the caching value by a technique based on a weighted-based method.This technique draws on the recent access popularity and low caching costs of tile sequences,with the aim of balancing the temporal and spatial localities in tile access.It ranks tile sequences in a replacement queue to adapt to the changes in accessed hotspots while reducing the replacement frequency.Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively improves the hit rate and utilization rate for a limited distributed cache while achieving satisfactory response performance and high throughput for users in an NGIS.Therefore,it can be adapted to handle numerous data access requests in NGISs in a cloud-based environment. | Rui LI Jiapei FAN Xinxing WANG Zhen ZHOU Huayi WU | 2015 | Geo-Spatial Information Science2015,18,4: | 1 |

| 17 | Modeling and simulation of dynamic carbonate deposition in a loess-paleosol sequence显示文摘A compartment model of dynamic deposition processes has been developed and testedin the Potou loess section of China. There are four components in the model : carbonate input ofeolian dust, carbonate output of erosion, carbonate chemical equilibrium and soil water balance. Aclimate stochastic model software (CLIMAK) generates the daily weather data. The processes ofeolian dust deposition, erosion, and pedogenesis simulate the complex process of carbonatedeposition in a loess-paleosol sequence. We consider both climatic change and soil-forming factors.The results indicate that since the Late Pleistocene in Potou section, the mean carbonate fluxesfrom precipitation, eolian dust and erosion are 0.14g/cm^2/kg, 1.45g/cm^2/ka and 0.23g/cm^2/karespectively.
