| 1 | A multi-step approach for block-cave production scheduling optimization显示文摘Production schedules that provide optimal operating strategies while meeting practical,technical,and environmental constraints are an inseparable part of mining operations.Relying only on manual planning methods or computer software based on heuristic algorithms will lead to mine schedules that are not the optimal global solution.Mathematical mine planning models have been proved to be very effective in supporting decisions on sequencing the extraction of material in mines.The objective of this paper is to develop a practical optimization framework for caving operations’production scheduling.To overcome the size problem of mathematical programming models and to generate a robust practical near-optimal schedule,a multi-step method for long-term production scheduling of block caving is presented.A mixed-integer linear programming(MILP)formulation is used for each step.The formulations are developed,implemented,and verifed in the TOMLAB/CPLEX environment.The production scheduler aims to maximize the net present value of the mining operation while the mine planner has control over defned constraints.Application and comparison of the models for production scheduling using 298 drawpoints over 15 periods are presented. | Yashar Pourrahimian Hooman Askari-Nasab Dwayne D.Tannant | 2013 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013，23，5： | 13 |
| 2 | Association of p53/p21 expression with cigarette smoking and prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients显示文摘factors,such as cigarette smoking,in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)in northeastern Iran,a region with a high incidence of ESCC.METHODS:The expression of p53 and p21 proteins was investigated immunohistochemically in tumor tissue from 80 ESCC patients and in 60 available paraffinembedded blocks of adjacent normal specimens from the cases,along with normal esophageal tissue from 80 healthy subjects.RESULTS:Positive expression of p53 protein was detected in 56.2%(45/80)of ESCC cases,and in none of the normal esophageal tissue of the control group(P<0.001).Furthermore,73.8%(59/80)of ESCC cases and 43.8%(35/80)of controls had positive expression of p21 protein(P<0.001).Cigarette smoking was significantly associated with p53 over-expression in ESCC cases(P=0.010,OR=3.64;95%CI:1.32-10.02).p21 over-expression was associated with poorer clinical outcome among the ESCC patients(P=0.009).CONCLUSION:Over-expression of p53 in association with cigarette smoking may play a critical role in ESCC carcinogenesis among this high-risk population of northeastern Iran.Furthermore,p21 over-expression was found to be associated with poor prognosis,specifically in the operable ESCC patients. | Noushin Taghavi Firouzeh Biramijamal Masoud Sotoudeh Omeed Moaven Hooman Khademi Mohammad Reza Abbaszadegan Reza Malekzadeh | 2010 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2010，16，39： | 10 |
| 3 | A linear programming model for long-term mine planning in the presence of grade uncertainty and a stockpile显示文摘The complexity of an open pit production scheduling problem is increased by grade uncertainty. A method is presented to calculate the cost of uncertainty in a production schedule based on deviations from the target production. A mixed integer linear programming algorithm is formulated to find the mining sequence of blocks from a predefined pit shell and their respective destinations, with two objectives:to maximize the net present value of the operation and to minimize the cost of uncertainty. An efficient clustering technique reduces the number of variables to make the problem tractable. Also, the parameters that control the importance of uncertainty in the optimization problem are studied. The minimum annual mining capacity in presence of grade uncertainty is assessed. | 4 | Simulation and optimization approach for uncertainty-based short-term planning in open pit mines显示文摘Accuracy in predictions leads to better planning with a minimum of opportunity lost. In open pit mining,the complexity of operations, coupled with a highly uncertain and dynamic production environment,limit the accuracy of predictions and force a reactive planning approach to mitigate deviations from original plans. A simulation optimization framework/tool is presented in this paper to account for uncertainties in mining operations for robust short-term production planning and proactive decision making. This framework/tool uses a discrete event simulation model of mine operations, which interacts with a goalprogramming based mine operational optimization tool to develop an uncertainty based short-term schedule. Using scenario analysis, this framework allows the planner to make proactive decisions to achieve the mine's operational and long-term objectives. | 5 | LAMINAR DISSIPATIVE FLOW IN A POROUS CHANNELBOUNDED BY ISOTHERMAL PARALLEL PLATES显示文摘The effects of viscous dissipation on thermal entrance heat transfer in a parallel plate channel filled with a saturated porous medium,is investigated analytically on the basis of a Darcy model.The case of isothermal boundary is treated.The local and the bulk temperature distribution along with the Nusselt number in the thermal entrance region were found. The fully developed Nusselt number, independent of the Brinkman number, is found to be 6. It is observed that neglecting the effects of viscous dissipation would lead to the well-known case of internal flows,with Nusselt number equal to 4 93.A finite difference numerical solution is also utilized. | 6 | Some Ecological Properties of Pistacia atlantica Desf. in Khojir National Park of Iran显示文摘Khojir national park is one of the oldest protected areas in Iran that is greatly considerable in terms of biodiversity and ecological values.Pistachio(Pistacia atlantica Desf.) communities,which create some woodland in this park,are unique because they grow tolerantly in a dry land,in the vicinity of Tehran capital.This research is about some ecological properties of Pistachio woodlands.The dominant community of the area is Pistacia-Amygdalus lycioides.The density of Pistacia is 86 per hectare.The density of Pistachio trees was greater in the higher elevation than in the lower one.In addition,the collar diameter and the height of trees in the higher class were less.The average density of Pistacia in plots in northern slopes was significantly more than southern slopes(at 5% level),but the average collar diameter of them were more on the southern aspect.The distribution,diameter and height of pistachio trees were not significantly related to the percentage of slope.Among the soil variables,the saturated water percentage(SP),N(total nitrogen) and texture of soil were effective factors which played significant role in ordination of plots containing pistachio.Considering the important role of P.atlantica forest stands in soil and water conservation in Iran,we should attach more importance to their protection and conservation,as well as activities such as road and dam construction,and garden establishment in such unique ecosystems. | Kambiz Taheri Abkenar Ali Salehi Jalal Bagheri Hooman Ravanbakhsh | 2013 | 应用与环境生物学报2013，19，3： | 2 |
