| 1 | Adsorption behavior of Azo Dye C. I. Acid Red 14 in aqueous solution on surface soils显示文摘Azo dyes have received considerable attention because of their association with various human health problems. The aim of the investigation is to determine the adsorption behavior of azo dyes in aqueous solution on DG06, GSE17200, and GSE17201 soils using C. I. Acid Red 14 (AR14) as example. The experimental results indicate that the Freundlich model expresses the adsorption isotherm better than the Langmuir model and the pseudo-second-order model achieves adsorption of AR14 on the three soils well. Based on the pseudo- second-order model, the adsorption thermodynamic of AR14 on DG06 soil have been studied and the thermodynamics parameter of ΔG0 is determined and ΔG0 value shows the adsorption process of AR14 on DG06 is mainly physical in nature. Furthermore, the effects of temperature, pH and salinity (NaCl) on adsorption have been investigated. | 3 | microRNA regulation of fruit development,quality formation and stress response显示文摘Fruits,as the reproductive organs of many higher plants,are an integral part of a balanced diet,providing rich nutrients and bioactive substances for our health.Over the years,the research on fruit development,quality formation and stress response has deepened,which sheds light on the regulatory mechanism and application of fruit quality improvement.Among the many regulatory factors,microRNAs(miRNAs)are a class of short non-coding RNAs,ranging from 20 to 24-nt,which post-transcriptionally regulate target gene expression.miRNAs and their functions have been extensively examined in plants especially in model species,and they play critical roles in the regulation of diverse biological processes in response to endogenous developmental signals and external environmental cues,respectively.In fruit crops,the function of miRNAs and their regulation have also been under intensive study.In particular,the novel roles of miRNAs that have not been revealed in the model annual species have been unraveling,which reflect the genetic,physiological,and developmental complexity of gene regulation in fruit crops.Here we review the current research progress achieved,specifically in fruit crops,with a focus on the function of miRNAs in the control of fruit development and quality as well as response to various stresses.The future prospects of miRNAs for quality-targeted fruit breeding are also discussed. | Xiangjin Kong Meiying He Zhihong Guo Yijie Zhou Zhongsuzhi Chen Hongxia Qu Hong Zhu | 2021 | Fruit Research2021,1,1: | 1 |

| 14 | Inducing the SnO2-based electron transport layer into NiFe LDH/NF as efficient catalyst for OER and methanol oxidation reaction显示文摘In an electrocatalyst with a heterointerface structure,the different interfaces can efficiently adjust the catalyst’s conductivity and electron arrangement,thereby enhancing the activity of the electrocatalyst.Ultrathin and smaller Ni Fe LDH was successfully constructed on the surface of SnOnanosheet supported NF by layer by layer assembly,and exhibits lower overpotential of 234 mV at a current density of 10 m A cm,which only increases by 6.4%even at a high current density of 100 mA cm.The excellent OER activity of catalyst is attributed to the contribution of the semiconductor SnOelectron transport layer.Through experiments and characterization,3d structure SnOnanosheets control the growth of ultra-thin nickel-iron,the hierarchical interface between SnOand Ni Fe LDH can change the electron arrangement around the iron and nickel active centers at the interface,resulting the valence states of iron slightly increased and Nicontent increased.The result will promote the oxidation of water.Meanwhile,the SnOsemiconductor as electron transport layer is conducive to trapping electrons generated in oxidation reaction,promoting electrons transferring from the Ni Fe LDH active center to the Ni substrate more quickly,and enhance the activity of Ni Fe LDH.It also shows excellent activity in an electrolyte solution containing 0.5 M methanol and 1 M KOH,and only 1.396 V(vs.RHE)is required to drive a current density of 10 mA cm. | Changwu Wan Jie Jin Xinyu Wei Shizhuo Chen Yi Zhang Tenglong Zhu Hongxia Qu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,29: | 1 |

| 17 | In-situ monitoring of saccharides removal of alcohol precipitation using near-infrared spectroscopy显示文摘As unsafe components in herbal medicine(HM),saccharides can affect not only the drug appearance and stabilization,but also the drug efficacy and safety.The present study focuses on the in-line monitoring of batch alcohol precipitation processes for saccharide removal using nearinfrared(NIR)spectroscopy.NIR spectra in the 4000–10,000-cm^(-1)wavelength range are acquired in situ using a transflectance probe.These directly acquired spectra allow characterization of the dynamic variation tendency of saccharides during alcohol precipitation.Calibration models based on partial least squares(PLS)regression have been developed for the three saccharide impurities,namely glucose,fructose,and sucrose.Model errors are estimated as the root-meansquare errors of cross-validation(RMSECVs)of internal validation and root-mean-square errors of prediction(RMSEPs)of external validation.The RMSECV values of glucose,fructose,and sucrose were 1.150,1.535,and 3.067 mg·mL^(-1),and the RMSEP values were 0.711,1.547,and 3.740 mg·mL^(-1),respectively.The correlation coeffcients(r)between the NIR predictive and the reference measurement values were all above 0.94.Furthermore,NIR predictions based on the constructed models improved our understanding of sugar removal and helped develop a control strategy for alcohol precipitation.The results demonstrate that,as an alternative process analytical technology(PAT)tool for monitoring batch alcohol precipitation processes,NIR spectroscopy is advantageous for both efficient determination of quality characteristics(fast,in situ,and requiring no toxic reagents)and process stability,and evaluating the repeatability. | Hongxia Huang Haibin Qu | 2018 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2018,,5: | 0 |

| 19 | A novel domain-duplicated SlitFAR3 gene involved in sex pheromone biosynthesis in Spodoptera litura显示文摘Fatty acyl reductases(FARs)are key enzymes that participate in sex pheromone biosynthesis by reducing fatty acids to fatty alcohols.Lepidoptera typically harbor numerous FAR gene family members.Although FAR genes are involved in the biosynthesis of sex pheromones in moths,the key FAR gene of Spodoptera litura remains unclear.In this work,we predicted 30 FAR genes from the S.litura genome and identified a domain duplication within gene SlitFAR3,which exhibited high and preferential expression in the sexually mature female pheromone glands(PGs)and a rhythmic expression pattern during the scotophase of sex pheromone production.The molecular docking of SlitFAR3,as predicted using a 3D model,revealed a co-factor NADPH binding cavity and 2 substrate binding cavities.Functional expression in yeast cells combined with comprehensive gas chromatography indicated that the SlitFAR3 gene could produce fatty alcohol products.This study is the first to focus on the special phenomenon of FAR domain duplication,which will advance our understanding of biosynthesis-related genes from the perspective of evolutionary biology. | Biyun Zhang Fengqi Li Cheng Qu Hongxia Duan Yuejun Fu Chen Luo | 2023 | Insect Science2023,30,3: | 0 |
