1Hydrochemical characteristics and water quality evaluation of shallow groundwater in Suxian mining area,Huaibei coalfield,China显示文摘The aim of this study is to evaluate the hydrogeochemical characteristics and water environmental quality of shallow groundwater in the Suxian mining area of Huaibei coalfield,China.The natural formation process of shallow groundwater in Suxian is explored using Piper trilinear charts and Gibbs diagrams,and by examining the ratios between the major ions.United States Salinity Laboratory(USSL)charts,Wilcox diagrams,and the water quality index(WQI)are further employed to quantify the differences in water quality.The results reveal that the main hydrochemical facies of groundwater are HC03-Ca,and that silicate dissolution is the main factor controlling the ion content in shallow groundwater.The USSL charts and Wilcox diagrams show that most of the water samples would be acceptable for use in irrigation systems.The WQI results for each water sample are compared and analyzed,and the quality of groundwater samples around collapse ponds is found to be relatively poor.Hao Yu Herong Gui Honghai Zhao Meichen Wang Jun Li Hongxia Fang Yaqi Jiang Yaru Zhang 2020International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2020,7,4:3
2Synthesis of Environmentally Friendly Magnesium Linoleate Detergent显示文摘This paper mainly covers a method for preparing a highly alkaline magnesium linoleate solution with a total base number(TBN) value of 328 mg KOH/g using linoleic acid as the biodegradable raw material, which can substitute for traditional lubricant detergents as an environmentally friendly detergent. 3Subspecies in Przewalski's gazelle Procapra przewalskii and its conservation implication显示文摘Przewalski’s gazelle Procapra przewalskii is an endangered species endemic to China. A question remains about subspecific variation in this species. Skulls of Przewalski’s gazelle collected from its current remnant ranges around the Qinghai Lake in combination with those collected prior to the 20th century were measured and analyzed using Hierarchical Cluster Analysis in order to clarify the question. Unexpectedly, P. p. diversicornis, extirpated from its historic range, has spread to the Qinghai Lake region where it has replaced nominotypical P. p. przewalskii and is now restricted to a few small isolated populations around the lake. We discuss the causes of this unexpected replacement. In this study, we discuss the possibility of a new form, possibly a new subspecies, in the Guide Basin, adjacent to Qinghai Lake; it is unclear whether the new form has long existed and was only discovered in recent years, or whether it evolved in recent times due to the geographical isolation and anthropogenic landscape features. 13Microbial community changes in the digestive tract of the clam Meretrix petechialis in response to Vibrio parahaemolyticus challenge显示文摘Disease in clams frequently occurred over the last decade and has become a serious threat to the clam aquaculture industry and natural stocks.Mass clam mortality events were reported to be associated with the presence of opportunistic pathogen vibrio.However,the complexity of infection that occurs in the natural environment remains poorly understood.In this study,we smulated a natural disease outbreak by vibrio immersion infection to study the diversity and dynamics of microbiota in the digestive tract of clam Meretrix petechialis during the infection process.Dramatic changes in operational taxonomic unit richness and phylum composition of the bacterial communities were observed during pathogen invasion.In addition,we investigated the potential relationship between microbiota dynamics and host status during disease progression.Results reveal that,at the end stage of vibrio infection,interindividual variation in the digestive tract microbiota increased,as did the diff erence in individual health status.The moribund clams displayed signs of microbial community shifts to low diversity,and the microbial community was characterized by mass proliferation of a few operational taxonomic units.Hongxia WANG Xin YUE Jiajia YU Rui WANG Shuangshuang TENG Jun FANG Baozhong LIU 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,1:1

15Amorphous magnetic semiconductors with Curie temperatures above room temperature显示文摘Recently, amorphous magnetic semiconductors as a new family of magnetic semiconductors have been developed by oxidizing ferromagnetic amorphous metals/alloys. Intriguingly, tuning the relative atomic ratios of Co and Fe in a Co-Fe-Ta-B-O system leads to the formation of an intrinsic magnetic semiconductor. Starting from high Curie-temperature amorphous ferromagnets, these amorphous magnetic semiconductors show Curie temperatures well above room temperature. Among them, one typical example is a p-type Co28.6Fe12.4Ta4.3B8.7O46 magnetic semiconductor, which has an optical bandgap of ~2.4 eV, roomtemperature saturation magnetization of ~433 emu/cm3, and the Curie temperature above 600 K. The amorphous Co28.6Fe12.4Ta4.3B8.7O46 magnetic semiconductor can be integrated with n-type Si to form p-n heterojunctions with a threshold voltage of ~1.6 V, validating its p-type semiconducting character. Furthermore, the demonstration of electric field control of its room-temperature ferromagnetism reflects the interplay between the electricity and ferromagnetism in this material. It is suggested that the carrier density, ferromagnetism and conduction type of an intrinsic magnetic semiconductor are controllable by means of an electric field effect. 17Comparison of two methods for evaluating lower urinary tract symptoms in cervical cancer patients following radical hysterectomy显示文摘Objective:To compare the degree of agreement and consistency of urodynamic studies(UDS)with low urinary tract symptoms(LUTS)questionnaires for evaluating LUTS in cervical cancer patients following radical hysterectomy(RH)and pelvic lymphadenectomy.Methods:From January 2012 to March 2015,204 cervical cancer patients who underwent RH in 13 hospitals were evaluated using the Incontinence Questionnaire-Female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms(ICIQ-FLUTS)and the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score(OABSS).Urodynamic tests were also performed on these patients during the same period.Results:Study participants’age ranged from 23 to 75 years,with a mean(standard deviation)of 48.0±9.3 years.Using questionnaires,the prevalence of patients with LUTS symptoms,including storage symptoms,voiding symptoms,stress urinary incontinence(SUI)and overactive bladder(OAB)was 86.3%,77.0%,62.7%,52.9%and 14.7%,respectively.For UDS,the corresponding prevalence was 89.7%,70.1%,66.7%,46.6%and 13.2%,respectively.The diagnostic concordance of questionnaires and UDS for storage symptoms,voiding symptoms,SUI and OAB was 79.9%,66.7%,66.7%,57.4%and 79.9%,respectively.For voiding symptoms,the correlation coefficient was 0.272,which was higher than that of storage symptoms,SUI and OAB.Fang An Sha Wang Zhiqi Wang Lingying Wu Qiubo Lv Aiming Lv Hongwu Wen Jinsong Han Yumei Wu Yunong Gao Qing Liu Sumei Wang Hongxia Li Luwen Wang Yanlong Wang Ruifang Wu Huan Li Xiuli Sun 2021Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Medicine2021,1,2:0
18Quality evaluation of systematic reviews of the effects of Baduanjin on diabete显示文摘Objective:Recently,the effects of Baduanjin(a traditional Chinese mind-body exercise)on diabetes have attracted increasing attention,and relevant systematic reviews(SRs)have emerged.However,the qualities of these SRs vary markedly,and their conclusions are inconsistent,which is not conducive to guiding decision-making.We sought to assess the quality of these SRs and provide more evidence for diabetes treatment.Methods:A literature search was conducted in 7 databases from inception to December 1st,2021.SRs of randomized controlled trials investigating the effects of Baduanjin were identified.A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews 2(AMSTAR-2)checklist,Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis(PRISMA)statement,and Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development and Evaluation(GRADE)system were applied to evaluate the quality of the SRs.Results:Ten SRs were identified.All SRs were judged as critically low methodological quality by the AMSTAR-2 checklist.The total PRISMA score of the included SRs ranged from 15 to 21,and the mean score was 18.60(1.90),indicating that all SRs had partial reporting deficits.Sixty outcomes were reported in the included studies,of which 25(41.67%)were judged as low quality,and 34(56.67%)as very low quality according to the GRADE system,indicating that the overall evidence quality of outcomes was not high.Conclusion:Baduanjin seems to be an effective therapy for diabetes in improving glucose and lipid metabolism,mental health,quality of life,and waist-hip ratio(WHR).The overall quality of the SRs was less than optimal.This conclusion should be treated with caution,and researchers should conduct higher-quality clinical studies following AMSTAR-2checklist,PRISMA statement,and GRADE system in the future.Bei Zhang Zhe Wang Fucong Peng Jiaxin Fang Liqun Guo Chunli Lu Tianying Wu Hongxia Liu 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2022,9,1:0
19Mblk-1 regulates sugar responsiveness in honey bee(Apis mellifera)foragers显示文摘Brain transcriptional regulatory network for behavior demonstrates that brain gene expression in the honey bee can be accurately predicted from the expression transcription factors(TFs),but roles for specific TFs are less understood.Mushroom bodies(MBs)are important for learning,memory and sensory integration in the honey bee brain.A TFs,Mblk-1,expressed preferentially in the large-type Kenyon cells of the honeybee MBs is predicted to be involved in brain function by regulating transcription of its target genes in honey bee.However,its function and the mechanism of regulation in behavior of honey bee is still obscure.Here we show that Mblk-1 had significantly higher expression in the brains of forager bees relative to nurse bees.Mblk-1 was significantly inhibited in bees fed small interfering RNA.In addition,inhibition of Mblk-1 decreased sucrose responsiveness in foragers.Finally,we determined that Mblk-1 regulated the messenger RNA of AmGRl.These findings suggest that Mblk-1 may target AmGRl to regulate the sucrose responsiveness of foragers.Fang Liu Lixian Wu Yuan Zhang Qiang Li Liangbin Li Zachary Y.Huang Hongxia Zhao 2022Insect Science2022,29,3:0
20Immediate and long-term outcomes after treat-all among people living with HIV in China:an interrupted time series analysis显示文摘Background In 2003,China implemented free antiretroviral therapy(ART)for people living with HIV(PLHIV),establishing an eligibility threshold of CD4<200 cells/μl.Subsequently,the entry criteria were revised in 2012(eligibility threshold:CD4≤350 cells/μl),2014(CD4≤500 cells/μl),and 2016(treat-all).However,the impact of treat-all policy on HIV care and treatment indicators in China is unknown.We aimed to elucidate the immediate and long-term impact of the implementation of treat-all policy in China.Methods Anonymized programmatic data on ART initiation and collection in PLHIV who newly started ART were retrieved between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2019,from two provincial and municipal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ten major infectious disease hospitals specialized in HIV care in China.We used Poisson and quasi-Poisson segmented regression models to estimate the immediate and long-term impact of treat-all on three key indicators:monthly proportion of 30-day ART initiation,mean CD4 counts(cells/μl)at ART initiation,and mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis(year).We built separate models according to gender,age,route of transmission and region.Results Monthly data on ART initiation and collection were available for 75,516 individuals[gender:83.8%males;age:median 39 years,interquartile range(IQR):28-53;region:18.5%Northern China,10.9%Northeastern China,17.5%Southern China,49.2%Southwestern China].In the first month of treat-all,compared with the contemporaneous counterfactual,there was a significant increase in proportion of 30-day ART initiation[+12.6%,incidence rate ratio(IRR)=1.126,95%CI:1.033-1.229;P=0.007]and mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis(+7.0%,IRR=1.070,95%CI:1.021-1.120;P=0.004),while there was no significant change in mean CD4 at ART initiation(IRR=0.990,95%CI:0.956-1.026;P=0.585).By December 2019,the three outcomes were not significantly different from expected levels.In the stratified analysis,compared with the contemporaneous counterfactual,mean CD4 at ART initiation showed significant increases in Northern China(+3.3%,IRR=1.033,95%CI:1.001-1.065;P=0.041)and Northeastern China(+8.0%,IRR=1.080,95%CI:1.003-1.164;P=0.042)in the first month of treat-all;mean estimated time from infection to diagnosis showed significant increases in male(+5.6%,IRR=1.056,95%CI:1.010-1.104;P=0.016),female(+14.8%,IRR=1.148,95%CI:1.062-1.240;P<0.001),aged 26-35(+5.3%,IRR=1.053,95%CI:1.001-1.109;P=0.048)and>50(+7.8%,IRR=1.078,95%CI:1.000-1.161;P=0.046),heterosexual transmission(+12.4%,IRR=1.124,95%CI:1.042-1.213;P=0.002)and Southwestern China(+12.9%,IRR=1.129,95%CI:1.055-1.208;P<0.001)in the first month of treat-all.Conclusions The implementation of treat-all policy in China was associated with a positive effect on HIV care and treatment outcomes.To advance the work of rapid ART,efforts should be made to streamline the testing and ART initiation process,provide comprehensive support services,and address the issue of uneven distribution of medical resources.Xinsheng Wu Guohui Wu Ping Ma Rugang Wang Linghua Li Yinghui Sun Junjie Xu Yuwei Li Tong Zhang Quanmin Li Yuecheng Yang Lijing Wang Xiaoli Xin Ying Qiao Bingxue Fang Zhen Lu Xinyi Zhou Yuanyi Chen Qi Liu Gengfeng Fu Hongxia Wei Xiaojie Huang Bin Su Hui Wang Huachun Zou 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,4:0
