2Electrical transport properties of Fe Se single crystal under high magnetic field显示文摘Understanding the normal electronic state is crucial for unveiling the mechanism of unconventional superconductivity(SC). In this paper, by applying a magnetic field of up to 37T on FeSe single crystals, we could reveal the normal-state transport properties after SC was completely suppressed. The normal-state resistivity exhibited a Fermi liquid behavior at low temperatures. Large orbital magnetoresistance(MR) was observed in the nematic state with H//c, whereas MR was negligible with H//ab. The magnitude of the orbital MR showed an unusual reduction, and Kohler’s rule was severely violated below 10-25 K;these were attributable to spin fluctuations. 3Synchrotron radiation X-ray powder diffraction techniques applied in hydrogen storage materials--A review显示文摘Synchrotron radiation is an advanced collimated light source with high intensity. It has particular advantages in structural characterization of materials on the atomic or molecular scale. Synchrotron radiation X-ray powder diffraction(SR-XRPD) has been successfully exploited to various areas of hydrogen storage materials. In the paper, we will give a brief introduction on hydrogen storage materials, X-ray powder diffraction(XRPD), and synchrotron radiation light source. The applications of ex situ and in situ time-resolved SR-XRPD in hydrogen storage materials, are reviewed in detail. 4Superior electrochemical performance of La-Mg-Ni-based alloys with novel A_(2)B_(7)-A_(7)B_(23) biphase superlattice structure显示文摘Nickel metal hydride(Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries hold an important position in the new-energy vehicle market owing to their key technology advantages. Their negative electrode materials—hydrogen storage alloys(HSAs) are always on the spotlight and are the key to compete with the burgeoning Li-ion batteries. Here, for the first time we report a series of biphase supperlattice HSAs with a(La,Mg)_(2)Ni_7 matrix phase and a novel(La,Mg)_(7)Ni_(23) secondary phase. The biphase alloys show discharge capacities of402–413 m Ahg^(-1) compared with 376–397 mAhg^(-1) of the other multi-or single-phase alloys. These values are among the highest for superlattice HSAs. In addition, the alloy with 15.4 wt.%(La,Mg)_(7)Ni_(23) phase exhibits good high rate dischargeability due to the proper compromise between the amount of crystal boundaries and equilibrium plateau voltage. The cycling stability of the biphase alloys is lower than that of the single-phase alloy but is till higher than the multiphase alloy. 9Rapid fatty acids detection of vegetable oils by Raman spectroscopy based on competitive adaptive reweighted sampling coupled with support vector regression显示文摘Objectives:The composition and content of fatty acids are critical indicators of vegetable oil quality.To overcome the drawbacks of traditional detection methods,Raman spectroscopy was investigated for the fast determination of the fatty acids composition of oil.Materials and Methods:Rapeseed and soybean oil at different depths of the oil tank at different storage times were collected and an eighth-degree polynomial function was used to fit the Raman spectrum.Then,the multivariate scattering correction,standard normal variable transformation(SNV),and Savitzky–Golay convolution smoothing methods were compared.Results:Polynomial fitting combined with SNV was found to be the optimal pretreatment method.Characteristic wavelengths were selected by competitive adaptive reweighted sampling.For monounsaturated fatty acids(MUFAs),polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFAs),and saturated fatty acids(SFAs),44,75,and 92 characteristic wavelengths of rapeseed oil,and 60,114,and 60 characteristic wavelengths of soybean oil were extracted.Support vector regression was used to establish the prediction model.The R^(2)values of the prediction results of MUFAs,PUFAs,and SFAs for rapeseed oil were 0.9670,0.9568,and 0.9553,and the root mean square error(RMSE)values were 0.0273,0.0326,and 0.0340,respectively.The R^(2)values of the prediction results of fatty acids for soybean oil were respectively 0.9414,0.9562,and 0.9422,and RMSE values were 0.0460,0.0378,and 0.0548,respectively.A good correlation coefficient and small RMSE value were obtained,indicating the results to be highly accurate and reliable.Conclusions:Raman spectroscopy,based on competitive adaptive reweighted sampling coupled with support vector regression,can rapidly and accurately analyze the fatty acid composition of vegetable oil.Linjiang Pang Hui Chen Liqing Yin Jiyu Cheng Jiande Jin Honghui Zhao Zhihao Liu Longlong Dong Huichun Yu Xinghua Lu 2022Food Quality and Safety2022,6,4:0
10Effects of Doping Trace Sm^(3+) and Gd^(3+) on Luminescent Character of Y_2O_2S∶Eu^(3+)显示文摘After trace Sm3+ ions and Gd3+ ions doping, the emission intensity of red phosphors Y2O2S∶Eu3+ was enhanced and the voltage character (relation between emission intensity and excitation voltage) was improved while the other properties of physics and chemistry were not changed. The origins of enhancement and improvement are discussed. Probably the distortion and the defect of crystals are decreased by the substitution of Gd3+ for Y3+ instead of Eu3+ for Y3+, and thus the Eu3+ crystal field is improved, and radiationless process and energy loss resulted from crystal defect are weakened, which leads to increased luminescence intensity and voltage character improvement. 14Pseudo-chromosome–length genome assembly for a deep-sea eel Ilyophis brunneus sheds light on the deep-sea adaptation显示文摘High hydrostatic pressure,low temperature,and scarce food supply are the major factors that limit the survival of vertebrates in extreme deep-sea environments.Here,we constructed a high-quality genome of the deep-sea Muddy arrowtooth eel(MAE,Ilyophis brunneus,captured below a depth of 3,500 m)by using Illumina,Pac Bio,and Hi-C sequencing.We compare it against those of shallow-water eel and other outgroups to explore the genetic basis that underlies the adaptive evolution to deep-sea biomes.The MAE genome was estimated to be 1.47 Gb and assembled into 14 pseudo-chromosomes.Phylogenetic analyses indicated that MAE diverged from its closely related shallow-sea species,European eel,~111.9 Mya and experienced a rapid evolution.The genome evolutionary analyses primarily revealed the following:(i)under high hydrostatic pressure,the positively selected gene TUBGCP3 and the expanded family MLC1 may improve the cytoskeleton stability;ACOX1 may enhance the fluidity of cell membrane and maintain transport activity;the expansion of ABCC12 gene family may enhance the integrity of DNA;(ii)positively selected HARS likely maintain the transcription ability at low temperatures;and(iii)energy metabolism under a food-limited environment may be increased by expanded and positively selected genes in AMPK and m TOR signaling pathways.Jie Chen Honghui Zeng Wenqi Lv Ning Sun Cheng Wang Wenjie Xu Mingliang Hu Xiaoni Gan Lisheng He Shunping He Chengchi Fang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,6:0
15Improved genome assembly of Chinese sucker(Myxocyprinus asiaticus)provides insights into the identification and characterization of pharyngeal teeth related maker genes in Cyprinoidei显示文摘The Chinese sucker,Myxocyprinus asiaticus(M.asiaticus,Catostomidae,Cypriniformes),is the only living species of Catostomidae in Asia.There are more than 75 species of this family in North America.The fossil record of this group dates back to the early Eocene.As the Chinese sucker is located at the base of the Cyprinoidei phylogeny,this species is also important in clarifying the evolutionary relationships within Cyprinoidei.Here,we assembled a high-quality genome of the Chinese sucker,contig N50(40.26 Mb),which is nearly ten times longer than the previous version(4.19 Mb).Phylogenetic analysis identified that Chinese sucker together with Cyprinidae groups are paraphyletic with respect to Cobitoidea.The specific whole genome duplication event of the Chinese sucker was estimated to have occurred~25.9 million years ago.Analysis of population historical changes indicated a trend of reduction for the Chinese sucker and T.tibetana.Since Dlx genes play a key role in Cypriniformes pharyngeal teeth development,we conducted a genome-wide identification of Dlx genes,and found that these genes were doubled in whole genome duplication events,followed by the loss of specific copies.Transcriptome results showed that the expression levels of these paralogous genes were similar.This genomic resource provides useful information for the protection of Chinese sucker and functional study of Dlx genes.Xin Liu Honghui Zeng Cheng Wang Jing Bo Xiaoni Gan Chengchi Fang Shunping He 2022Water Biology and Security2022,1,3:0
16Sympatric or micro-allopatric speciation in a glacial lake?Genomic islands support neither显示文摘Apparent cases of sympatric speciation may actually be due to micro-allopatric or micro-parapatric speciation.One way to distinguish between these models is to examine the existence and nature of genomic islands of divergence,wherein divergent DNA segments are interspersed with low-divergence segments.Such islands should be rare or absent under micro-allopatric speciation but common in cases of speciation with gene flow.Sympatric divergence of endemic fishes is known from isolated saline,crater,postglacial,and ancient lakes.Two morphologically distinct cyprinid fishes,Gymnocypris eckloni scoliostomus(GS)and G.eckloni eckloni(GE),in a small glacial lake on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,Lake Sunmcuo,match the biogeographic criteria of sympatric speciation.In this study,we examined genome-wide variation in 46individuals from these two groups.The divergence time between the GS and GE lineages was estimated to be 20-60 Kya.We identified 54 large genomic islands(≥100 kb)of speciation,which accounted for 89.4%of the total length of all genomic islands.These islands harboured divergent genes related to olfactory receptors and olfaction signals that may play important roles in food selection and assortative mating in fishes.Although the genomic islands clearly indicated speciation with gene flow and rejected micro-allopatric speciation,they were too large to support the hypothesis of sympatric speciation.Theoretical and recent empirical studies suggested that continual gene flow in sympatry should give rise to many small genomic islands(as small as a few kilobases in size).Thus,the observed pattern is consistent with the extensive evidence on parapatric speciation,in which adjacent habitats facilitate divergent selection but also permit gene flow during speciation.We suggest that many,if not most,of the reported cases of sympatric speciation are likely to be micro-parapatric speciation.Ning Sun Liandong Yang Fei Tian Honghui Zeng Ziwen He Kai Zhao Cheng Wang Minghui Meng Chenguang Feng Chengchi Fang Wenqi Lv Jing Bo Yongtao Tang Xiaoni Gan Zuogang Peng Yiyu Chen Shunping He 2022National Science Review2022,9,12:0
17Improvement in hydrogen storage performance of Mg by mechanical grinding with molten salt etching Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x)显示文摘Mg-based materials are currently a hot research topic as hydrogen storage materials due to their considerable theoretical hydrogen storage capacity.However,the kinetic performance of hydrogen absorption and desorption of Mg is too slow and requires high temperature,which seriously hinders the application of this material.MXene is a new type of two-dimensional material with significant role in improving thermodynamics and kinetics.In this experiment,a two-dimensional layered MXene containing Cl functional group was prepared by molten salt etching using the Ti-containing MAX phase as the raw material.Then different ratios of Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x) were uniformly dispersed onto the surface of Mg by high energy ball milling.The samples were characterized by hydrogen absorption and desorption kinetics,SEM,XRD,XPS,and DSC to investigate the effect of Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x) on the hydrogen absorption and desorption performance of Mg.The onset hydrogen absorption temperature can be reduced to room temperature and the hydrogen release temperature is reduced by 200℃ by doping Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x).And there is also 5.4wt%hydrogen storage in the isothermal hydrogen absorption test at 400℃.The results of DSC demonstrate that the Ea of Mg+15wt%Ti_(3)C_(2)Cl_(x) was reduced by 12.6%compared to pristine Mg.TheΔH is almost invariable.The results of XPS show that the presence of multivalent Ti promotes electron transfer and thus improves the conversion between Mg^(2+)/Mg and H^(−)/H.This study provides a guideline for further improving the hydrogen absorption and desorption performance of Mg-based hydrogen storage materials.Shuaicheng Hu Lijun Lv Guo Yang Wei Liu Hong Miao Honghui Cheng Xingbo Han Zifeng Lin 2023Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2023,33,2:0
