1Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children.Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team 2020Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,9:158

4Brain functional connectivity network studies of acupuncture: a systematic review on resting-state fMRI显示文摘Background: Functional magnetic resonance imaging(f MRI) is a novel method for studying the changes of brain networks due to acupuncture treatment. In recent years, more and more studies have focused on the brain functional connectivity network of acupuncture stimulation.Objective: To offer an overview of the different influences of acupuncture on the brain functional connectivity network from studies using resting-state f MRI.Search strategy: The authors performed a systematic search according to PRISMA guidelines. The database Pub Med was searched from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2016 with restriction to human studies in English language.Inclusion criteria: Electronic searches were conducted in Pub Med using the keywords ‘‘acupuncture' and‘‘neuroimaging' or ‘‘resting-state f MRI' or ‘‘functional connectivity'.Data extraction and analysis: Selection of included articles, data extraction and methodological quality assessments were respectively conducted by two review authors.Results: Forty-four resting-state f MRI studies were included in this systematic review according to inclusion criteria. Thirteen studies applied manual acupuncture vs. sham, four studies applied electroacupuncture vs. sham, two studies also compared transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation vs.sham, and nine applied sham acupoint as control. Nineteen studies with a total number of 574 healthy subjects selected to perform f MRI only considered healthy adult volunteers. The brain functional connectivity of the patients had varying degrees of change. Compared with sham acupuncture, verum acupuncture could increase default mode network and sensorimotor network connectivity with pain-, affectiveand memory-related brain areas. It has significantly greater connectivity of genuine acupuncture between the periaqueductal gray, anterior cingulate cortex, left posterior cingulate cortex, right anterior insula, limbic/paralimbic and precuneus compared with sham acupuncture. Some research had also shown that acupuncture could adjust the limbic-paralimbic-neocortical network, brainstem, cerebellum,subcortical and hippocampus brain areas.Conclusion: It can be presumed that the functional connectivity network is closely related to the mechanism of acupuncture, and central integration plays a critical role in the acupuncture mechanism.Rong-lin Cai Guo-ming Shen Hao Wang Yuan-yuan Guan 2018Journal of Integrative Medicine2018,16,1:46

7Comprehensive Treatment with Chinese Medicine in Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Multicenter, Prospective, Cohort Study显示文摘Objective: To determine whether additional Chinese medicine(CM) could prolong survival and improve the quality of life(QOL) in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) compared with Western medicine(WM) alone. Methods: This was a multicenter, prospective cohort study. A total of 474 hospitalized patients with stage Ⅲ–Ⅳ NSCLC were recruited and divided into 2 groups. Patients in the WM group received radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and optimal supportive therapy according to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network(NCCN) guidelines. In the integrative medicine(IM) group, individualized CM(Chinese patent medicines and injections) and WM were administered. The primary end point was overall survival, and the secondary end points were time to disease progression, adverse events, and QOL. Follow-up clinical examinations and chest radiography were performed every 2 months. Results: The median survival was 16.60 months in the IM group and 13.13 months in the WM group(P<0.01). The incidences of loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting in the IM group were significantly lower than those in the WM group(P<0.05). The QOL based on Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Lung in the IM group was markedly higher than that in the WM group at the fourth course(P<0.05). Conclusions: Additional CM may prolong survival and improve the QOL patients with NSCLC. 8Metabonomic phenotype and identification of “heart blood stasis obstruction pattern” and “qi and yin deficiency pattern” of myocardial ischemia rat models显示文摘The traditional Chinese medicine concepts of 'Xinxueyuzuzheng (heart blood stasis obstruction pattern)' and 'Qiyinliangxuzheng (qi and yin deficiency pattern)' for myocardial ischemia rat models were constructed in the present study. Endogenous metabolites in rat plasma were analyzed using the GC/TOF-MS-based metabonomic method. Significant metabolic differences were observed between the control and two model groups, and the three groups were distinguished clearly by pattern recognition. Compared with those of the control, the levels of hydroxyproline, threonic acid, glutamine and citric acid were strikingly up or down-regulated in model rats. The metabolites contributing most to the classification between the two 'pattern' rats were identified, such as valine, serine, threonine, ornithine, hydroxyproline, lysine, 2-hydroxybutanoic acid, 3-hydroxybutanoic acid, galactofuranose and inositol. These compounds were indicated as the potential biomarkers. The results suggested that the two 'patterns' are involved in dysfunction in oxidative stress, energy metabolism and amino acid metabolism. 9Value of gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase-to-platelet ratio in diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM To investigate the value of the gamma-glutamyltraspeptidase(GGT)-to-platelet(PLT) ratio(GPR) in the diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB). METHODS We included 390 untreated CHB patients in this study. The GPR, aspartate aminotransferase(AST)-to-PLT ratio index(APRI), and fibrosis-4(FIB-4) of all patients were analysed to determine if these parameter were correlated with age, gender, medical history, liver function [total bilirubin(TBil), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), and AST], GGT, PLT count, or hepatic fibrosis stage. The GPR, APRI, and FIB-4, as well as the combination of the GPR and APRI or the GPR and FIB-4 were assessed in different cirrhosis stages using receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis to evaluate their value in diagnosing hepatic fibrosis in CHB patients. RESULTS The GPR, APRI, and FIB-4 were not correlated withCHB patients' age, gender, or disease duration(P > 0.05), but all of these parameters were positively correlated with serum ALT, AST, GGT, and PLT count(P < 0.01). Additionally, the GPR, APRI, and FIB-4 were positively correlated with hepatic fibrosis(P < 0.01); the areas under the ROC curve for the GPR in F1, F2, F3, and F4 stages were 0.723, 0.741, 0.826, and 0.833, respectively, which were significantly higher than the respective values for the FIB-4 and APRI(F1: 0.581, 0.612; F2: 0.706, 0.711; F3: 0.73, 0.751; and F4: 0.799, 0.778). The respective diagnostic cut-off points for each stage were 0.402, 0.448, 0.548, and 0.833, respectively. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were, respectively, 88.8% and 87.5% in F1, 72.7% and 89.7% in F2, 81.3% and 98.6% in F3, and 80% and 97.4% in F4 when the GPR and APRI were connected in parallel; 86.6% and 90.2%, 78.4% and 96%, 78.6% and 97.4%, and 73.2% and 97.9%, respectively, when the GPR and APRI were connected in series; 80.2% and 89%, 65% and 89%, 70.3% and 98.5%, and 78.8% and 96.8%, respectively, when the GPR and FIB-4 were connected in parallel; and 83.6% and 87.9%, 76.8% and 96.6%, 72.7% and 98%, and 74.4% and 97.7%, respectively, when the GPR and FIB-4 were connected in series.CONCLUSION The GPR, as a serum diagnostic index of liver fibrosis, is more accurate, sensitive, and easy to use than the FIB-4 and APRI, and the GPR can significantly improve the sensitivity and specificity of hepatic fibrosis diagnosis in CHB when combined with the FIB-4 or APRI.Yan-Chao Hu Hao Liu Xiao-Yan Liu Li-Na Ma Yu-Hua Guan Xia Luo Xiang-Chun Ding 2017World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,41:19

11Relative position determination of a lunar rover using high-accuracy multi-frequency same-beam VLBI显示文摘Multi-frequency same-beam VLBI means that two explorers with a small separation angle are simultaneously observed with the main beam of receiving antennas. In the same-beam VLBI, the differential phase delay between two explorers and two receiving telescopes can be obtained with a small error of several picoseconds. The differential phase delay, as the observable of the same-beam VLBI, gives the separation angular information of the two explorers in the celestial sphere. The two-dimensional relative position on the plane-of-sky can thus be precisely determined with an error of less than 1 m for a distance of 3.8×105 km far away from the earth, by using the differential phase delay obtained with the four Chinese VLBI stations. 12Rapid improvement of PM2.5 pollution and associated health benefits in China during 2013–2017显示文摘Exposure to fine particulate matter(PM2.5)is known to harm public health.In China,after implementation of aggressive emissions control measures under the Action Plan of Air Pollution Prevention and Control(2013-2017),air quality has significantly improved.In this work,we investigated changes in PM2.5 exposure and the associated health impacts in China for the period 2013-2017.We used an optimal estimator of PM2.5 combining in-situ observations,satellite measurements,and simulations from a chemical transport model to derive the spatial and temporal variations in PM2.5 exposure,and then used welldeveloped exposure-response functions to estimate the premature deaths attributable to PM2.5 exposure.We found that national population-weighed annual mean PM2.5 concentrations decreased from 67.4μgm-3 in 2013 to 45.5μgm-3 in 2017(32%reduction).This rapid decrease in PM2.5 pollution led to a 14%reduction in premature deaths due to long-term exposure.We estimated that,during 2013-2017,the premature deaths attributable to long-term PM2.5 exposure decreased from 1.2 million(95%CI:1.0,1.3;fraction of total mortality:13%)in 2013 to 1.0 million(95%CI:0.9,1.2;10%)in 2017.Despite the rapid decrease in annual mean PM2.5 concentrations,health benefits associated with reduced long-term exposure were limited,because for many cities,the PM2.5 levels remain at the portion where the exposure-response function is less steeper than that at the lowconcentration end.We also found that the deaths associated with acute exposure decreased by 61%during 2013-2017 due to rapid reduction in the number of heavily polluted days.Our results confirm that clean air policies in China have mitigated the air pollution crisis;however,continuous emissions reduction efforts are required to protect citizens from air pollution.Tao XUE Jun LIU Qiang ZHANG Guannan GENG Yixuan ZHENG Dan TONG Zhu LIU Dabo GUAN Yu BO Tong ZHU Kebin HE Jiming HAO 2019Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,12:17

15Esophagojejunostomy after laparoscopic total gastrectomy by Or VilTM or hemi-double stapling technique显示文摘AIM: To investigate the feasibility, advantages and disadvantages of two types of anvil insertion techniques for esophagojejunostomy after laparoscopic total gastrectomy.METHODS: This was an open-label prospective cohort study. Laparoscopy-assisted radical total gastrectomy with D2 lymph node dissection was performed in 84 patients with primary non-metastatic gastric cancer confirmed by pre-operative histological examination. Overweight patients were excluded, as well as patients with peritoneal dissemination and invasion of adjacent organs. After total gastrectomy, all patients were randomized into two groups. Patients in Group Ⅰ underwent esophagojejunostomy using a transorally-inserted anvil(Or VilTM), while patients in Group Ⅱ underwent esophagojejunostomy using the hemi-double stapling technique(HDST). Both types of esophagojejunostomy were performed under laparoscopy. Patients' baseline characteristics, preoperative characteristics, perioperative characteristics, short-term postoperative outcomes and operation cost were comparedbetween the two groups. The primary endpoint was evaluation of the surgical outcome(operating time, time of digestive tract reconstruction and time of anvil insertion) and the medical cost of each operation(operation cost and total cost of hospitalization). The secondary endpoints were time to solid diet, post-surgical hospitalization time, time to defecation, time to ambulation and intra-operative blood loss. In addition, complications were assessed and compared. RESULTS: Laparoscopic total gastrectomy and esophagojejunostomy were successfully performed in all 84 patients, without conversion to laparotomy. There were no significant differences in the operative time and time for total gastrectomy between the two groups(287.8 ± 38.4 min vs 271.8 ± 46.1 min, P = 0.09, and 147.7 ± 31.6 min vs 159.8 ± 33.8 min, P = 0.09, respectively). The time for digestive tract reconstruction and for anvil insertion were significantly decreased in Group Ⅱ compared with Group I(47.8 ± 12.1 min vs 55.4 ± 15.7 min, P = 0.01, and 12.6 ± 4.7 min vs 18.7 ± 7.5 min, P = 0.001, respectively). Intraoperative blood loss(96.4 ± 32.7 m L vs 88.2 ± 36.9 m L, P = 0.28), time to defecation(3.5 ± 0.9 d vs 3.2 ± 1.1 d, P = 0.12), time to ambulation(3.9 ± 0.7 d vs 3.6 ± 1.1 d, P = 0.12), time to solid diet(7.6 ± 1.4 d vs 8.0 ± 2.7 d, P = 0.31) and total hospitalization(10.6 ± 2.6 d vs 10.8 ± 3.5 d, P = 0.80) were similar between the two groups. In addition, the total costs of hospitalization were similar between the two groups(73848.7 ± 11781.0 RMB vs 70870.3 ± 14003.5 RMB, P = 0.296), but operation cost was significantly higher in Group I compared with Group Ⅱ(32401.9 ± 1981.6 RMB vs 26961.9 ± 2293.8 RMB, P < 0.001).CONCLUSION: Anvil insertion was faster and easier using the HDST technique compared with Or VilTM, and was more cost-effective. 16Dynamic Feedforward Control of a Novel 3-PSP 3-DOF Parallel Manipulator显示文摘Parallel manipulators with less than six degrees of freedom (DOF) have been increasingly used in high-speed hybrid machine tools. The structural features of parallel manipulators are dynamic, a characteristic that is particularly significant when these manipulators are used in high-speed machine tools. However, normal kinematic control method cannot satisfy the requirements of the control system. Many researchers use model-based dynamic control methods, such as the dynamic feedforward control method. However, these methods are rarely used in hybrid machine tools because of the complex dynamic model of the parallel manipulator. In order to study the dynamic control method of parallel manipulators, the dynamic feedforward control method is used in the dynamic control system of a 3-PSP (prismatic-spherical-prismatic) 3-DOF spatial parallel manipulator used as a spindle head in a high-speed hybrid machine tool. Using kinematic analysis as basis and the Newton-Euler method, we derive the dynamic model of the parallel manipulator. Furthermore, a model-based dynamic feedforward control system consisting of both kinematic control and dynamic control subsystems is established. The dynamic control subsystem consists of two modules. One is used to eliminate the influence of the dynamic characteristics of high-speed movement, and the other is used to eliminate the dynamic disturbances in the milling process. Finally, the simulation model of the dynamic feedforward control system of the 3-PSP parallel manipulator is constructed in Matlab/Simulink. The simulations of the control system eliminating the influence of the dynamic characteristics and dynamic disturbances are conducted. A comparative study between the simulations and the normal kinematic control method is also presented.The simulations prove that the dynamic feedforward control method effectively eliminates the influence of the dynamic disturbances and dynamic characteristics of the parallel manipulator on high-speed machine tools, and significantly improves the trajectory accuracy. 18In-situ investigation on the fatigue crack propagation behavior in ferrite-pearlite and dual-phase ferrite-bainite low carbon steels显示文摘The purpose of this study was to describe the roles of microstructure types and grain boundary characteristics in fatigue crack propagation behavior in ferrite-pearlite steel and ferrite-bainite steel.The ferrite-bainite dual-phase steel was obtained by intermediate heat treatment conducted on ferrite-pearlite low carbon steel.This paper presents the results from investigation using constant stress-controlled fatigue tests with in-situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM),electron backscattering diffraction(EBSD) and fatigue fractography analysis.Microscopic images arrested by in-situ SEM showed that the second hard bainite phase distributed in the soft ferrite matrix had a significant effect on preventing the cracks opening compared with pearlite,and that the cracks in ferrite-bainite steel were 'locked' in the second hard bainite phase while the crack propagation path in ferrite-pearlite steel was more tortuous.Moreover,the fatigue fracture surface analysis and the coincidence site lattice(CSL) obtained by EBSD indicated that low-CSL grain boundaries in ferrite-bainite steel distributed more uniformly,which has a more significant effect on the resistance of crack propagation.It was revealed that ferrite-bainite dual-phase microstructures could inhibit the fatigue crack propagation more effectively than ferrite-pearlite microstructures.GUAN MingFei YU Hao 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,1:8
19Beclin-1- mediated autophagy may be involved in the elderly cognitive and affective disorders in streptozotocininduced diabetic mice显示文摘Background:Diabetes is the most common metabolic disease with many chronic complications,and cognitive disorders are one of the common complications in patients with diabetes.Previous studies have showed that autophagy played important roles in the progression of metabolic syndrome,diabetes and other diseases.So we investigated whether aged diabetic mice are prone to be associated with the cognitive and affective disorders and whether Beclin-1-mediated autophagy might be involved in thepahological process.Methods:High-fat diet/streptozotocin(STZ)injection-induced diabetic C57 mice were adopted in this study.Cognitive disorders were detected by Morris water maze and fear conditional test.Affective disorders were detected by tail suspension test and forced swimming test.Magnetic resonance imaging was applied to observe changes of morphology and metabolism in the brain.The 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography(FDG-PET)was used to assess metabolism changes in the brain of aged diabetic mice.Autophagy were evaluated by Beclin-1,LC3II/I and P62,which were detected by western blot analysis and observed by electron microscopy.Results:1.Compared with control group,diabetes mice showed significantly decreasing abilities in spatial memory and conditioned fear memory(all P<0.05),and increasing tendency of depression(P<0.05).2.MRI showed that the majority of elderly diabetic mice were associated with multiple cerebral small vessel disease.Some even showed hippocampal atrophy,ventricular dilatation and leukoaraiosis.3.FDG-PET-CT discovered that the glucose metabolism in the amygdala and hippocampus was significantly decreased compared with normal aged mice(P<0.05).4.Electron microscopy found that,although autophagy bodies was not widespread,and there was no significant difference between the two groups,yet compared with normal aged mice,apparent cell edema,myelinated tow reduction and intracellular lipofuscin augmentation existed in elderly diabetic mice brain.5.The level of p62 was increased in the STZ-induced diabetic mice hippocampus and striatum,and beclin1 protein expression were significantly decreased in diabetic mice hippocampus compared with normal aged mice(P<0.05).There was a upward trend of the ratio of LC3II/I in hippocampus,cortex and striatum,but no statistically difference between the two groups.Conclusion:Compared with normal aged mice,diabetic aged mice were apt to cerebral small vessel disease and associated with cognitive and affective disorders,which may be related to the significantly reduced glucose metabolism in hippocampus and amygdala.Beclin1 mediated autophagy in hippocampus probably played an important role in cognitive and affective disorders of STZ-induced aged diabetic mice.Zhu-Fei Guan Xiu-Ling Zhou Xiao-Ming Zhang Yu Zhang Yan-Mei Wang Qi-Lin Guo Gang Ji Guo-Feng Wu Na-Na Wang Hao Yang Zhong-Yu Yu Hou-Guang Zhou Jing-Chun Guo Ying-Chao Liu 2016Translational Neurodegeneration2016,5,1:8
20Sensitivity-enhanced surface plasmon resonance sensor utilizing a tungsten disulfide (WS_2) nanosheets overlayer显示文摘Tungsten disulfide(WS_2), as a representative layered transition metal dichalcogenide(TMDC) material, possesses important potential for applications in highly sensitive sensors. Here, a sensitivity-enhanced surface plasmon resonance(SPR) sensor with a metal film modified by an overlayer of WS_2 nanosheets is proposed and demonstrated. The SPR sensitivity is related to the thickness of the WS_2 overlayer, which can be tailored by coating a WS_2 ethanol suspension with different concentrations or by the number of times of repeated post-coating.Benefitting from its large surface area, high refractive index, and unique optoelectronic properties, the WS_2 nanosheet overlayer coated on the gold film significantly improves the sensing sensitivity. The highest sensitivity(up to 2459.3 nm∕RIU) in the experiment is achieved by coating the WS_2 suspension once. Compared to the case without a WS_2 overlayer, this result shows a sensitivity enhancement of 26.6%. The influence of the WS_2 nanosheet overlayer on the sensing performance improvement is analyzed and discussed. Moreover, the proposed WS_2 SPR sensor has a linear correlation coefficient of 99.76% in refractive index range of 1.333 to 1.360.
