1Performance of biotrickling filters packed with structured or cubic polyurethane sponges for VOC removal显示文摘Two identical bench-scale biotrickling filters (BTFs),BTF 1 and BTF 2,were evaluated for toluene removal at various gas empty bed contact times (EBCTs) and organic loadings.BTF 1 and BTF 2 were packed with structured and cubic synthetic polyurethane sponges,respectively.At a constant toluene loading of 16 g/(m 3 ·hr),toluene removal efficiencies decreased from 98.8% to 64.3% for BTF 1 and from 98.4% to 74.1% for BTF 2 as gas EBCT decreased from 30 to 5 sec.When the toluene loading increased from 35 to 140 g/(m 3 ·hr) at a gas EBCT of 30 sec,the removal efficiencies decreased from 99.1% to 77.4% for BTF 1 and from 99.0% to 81.5% for BTF 2.The pressure drop for both BTFs increased with increased air flow rate,and did not significantly vary while the toluene loading was increased under similar operation conditions.BTF 1 and BTF 2 could start up successfully within 19 and 27 days,respectively,when packed with fresh sponge media,and the performances could be restored in 3-7 days after biomass was removed and wasted from the media.BTF 2 displayed higher removal efficiency even under shorter EBCT or higher loading rate than BTF1 when other operation conditions were similar,while it showed lower pressure drop than BTF 1 during the whole period of operation.These results demonstrated that both BTFs could treat waste gas containing toluene effectively.Chunping Yang Guanlong Yu Guangming Zeng Haining Yang Fayuan Chen Congying Jin 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,8:10
2Enhanced removal of ethylbenzene from gas streams in biotrickling filters by Tween-20 and Zn(Ⅱ)显示文摘The effects of Tween-20 and Zn(II)on ethylbenzene removal were evaluated using two biotrickling filters(BTFs),BTF1 and BTF2.Only BTF1 was fed with Tween-20 and Zn(II).Results show that ethylbenzene removal decreased from 94%to 69%for BTF1 and from 74%to 54%for BTF2 with increased organic loading from 64.8 to 189.0 g ethylbenzene/(m3·hr)at EBRT of 40 sec.The effect of EBRT(60–15 sec)at a constant ethylbenzene inlet concentration was more significant than that of EBRT(30–10 sec)at a constant organic loading.Biomass accumulation rate within packing media was reduced significantly.Lu Wang Chunping Yang Yan Cheng Jian Huang Haining Yang Guangming Zeng Li Lu Shanying He 2014Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,12:8
3Current progress in developing metal oxide nanoarrays-based photoanodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting显示文摘Solar energy driven photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting is a clean and powerful approach for renewable hydrogen production. The design and construction of metal oxide based nanoarray photoanodes is one of the promising strategies to make the continuous breakthroughs in solar to hydrogen conversion efficiency of PEC cells owing to their owned several advantages including enhanced reactive surface at the electrode/electrolyte interface, improved light absorption capability, increased charge separation efficiency and direct electron transport pathways. In this Review, we first introduce the structure,work principle and their relevant efficiency calculations of a PEC cell. We then give a summary of the state-of the-art research in the preparation strategies and growth mechanism for the metal oxide based nanoarrays, and some details about the performances of metal oxide based nanoarray photoanodes for PEC water splitting. 4High-performance solar-blind ultraviolet photodetector based on electrospun TiO2-ZnTiO3 heterojunction nano- wires显示文摘High-performance solar-blind UV (ultraviolet) photodetectors (PDs) based on low-dimension semiconducting nanostructures with high sensitivity, excellent cycle stability, and the ability to operate in harsh environments are critical for solar observations, space communication, UV astronomy, and missile tracking. In this study, TiO2-ZnTiO3 heterojunction nanowire-based PDs are successfully developed and used to detect solar-blind UV light. A photoconductive analysis indicates that the fabricated PDs are sensitive to UV illumination, with high sensitivity, good stability, and high reproducibility. Further analysis indicates that the rich existence of grain boundaries within the TiO2-ZnTiO3 nanowire can greatly decrease the dark current and recombination of the electron-hole pairs and thereby significantly increase the device's photosensitivity, spectra responsivity (1.1 ~ 106), and external quantum efficiency (4.3 ~ 108 %). Moreover, the PDs exhibit good photodetective performance with fast photoresponse and recovery and excellent thermal stability at temperatures as high as 175 ℃. 6In-situ fabrication of dual porous titanium dioxide films as anode for carbon cathode based perovskite solar cell显示文摘We develop a dual porous(DP) TiO_2 film for the electron transporting layer(ETL) in carbon cathode based perovskite solar cells(C-PSCs). The DP TiO_2 film was synthesized via a facile PS-templated method with the thickness being controlled by the spin-coating speed. It was found that there is an optimum DP TiO_2 film thickness for achieving an effective ETL, a suitable perovskite/TiO_2 interface, an efficient light harvester and thus a high performance C-PSC. In particular, such a DP TiO_2 film can act as a scaffold for complete-filling of the pores with perovskite and for forming high-quality perovskite crystals that are seamlessly interfaced with Ti_O2 to enhance interfacial charge injection. 7A Flexible Three Clouds 5G Mobile Network Architecture Based on NFV & SDN显示文摘Along with the completion of the development of 4G technologies, the global mobile community starts the study of the next generation technologies, i.e. 5G technologies. This paper proposes a new flexible architecture for 5G mobile networks based on Network Function Virtualization(NFV) and Software Defined Network(SDN) technologies, which is adaptable to use cases and scenarios. Then implementation reference architecture and some typical 5G network deployment cases are discussed. 9Deep-water gravity flow deposits in a lacustrine rift basin and their oil and gas geological significance in eastern China显示文摘The types,evolution processes,formation mechanisms,and depositional models of deep-water gravity flow deposits in a lacustrine rift basin are studied through core observation and systematic analysis.Massive transport of slide and slump,fluid transport of debris flow and turbidity currents are driven by gravity in deep-water lacustrine environment.The transformation between debris flow and turbidity current,and the transformation of turbidity current between supercritical and subcritical conditions are the main dynamic mechanisms of gravity flow deposits in a lake basin.The erosion of supercritical turbidity current controls the formation of gravity-flow channel.Debris flow deposition gives rise to tongue shape lobe rather than channel.Deep-water gravity flow deposits are of two origins,intrabasinal and extrabasinal.Intrabasinal gravity flow deposits occur as single tongue-shape lobe or fan of stacking multiple lobes.Extrabasinal gravity-flow deposits occur as sublacustrine fan with channel or single channel sand body.However,the nearshore subaqueous fan is characterized by fan of stacking multiple tongue shape lobes without channel.The differential diagenesis caused by differentiation in the nearshore subaqueous fan facies belt results in the formation of diagenetic trap.The extrabasinal gravity flow deposits are one of the important reasons for the abundant deep-water sand bodies in a lake basin.Slide mass-transport deposits form a very important type of lithologic trap near the delta front often ignored.The fine-grained sediment caused by flow transformation is the potential'sweet spot'of shale oil and gas.CAO Yingchang JIN Jiehua LIU Haining YANG Tian LIU Keyu WANG Yanzhong WANG Jian LIANG Chao 2021Petroleum Exploration and Development2021,48,2:2

11Urban structure and the risk of influenza A(H1N1) outbreaks in municipal districts显示文摘Changsha was one of the most affected areas during the 2009 A(H1N1)influenza pandemic in China.Here,we analyze the spatial–temporal dynamics of the 2009 pandemic across Changsha municipal districts,evaluate the relationship between case incidence and the local urban spatial structure and predict high-risk areas of influenza A(H1N1).We obtained epidemiological data on all cases of influenza A(H1N1)reported across municipal districts in Changsha during period May 2009–December 2010 and data on population density and basic geographic characteristics for 239 primary schools,97 middle schools,347 universities,96 malls and markets,674 business districts and 121 hospitals.Spatial–temporal K functions,proximity models and logistic regression were used to analyze the spatial distribution pattern of influenza A(H1N1)incidence and the association between influenza A(H1N1)cases and spatial risk factors and predict the infection risks.We found that the 2009 influenza A(H1N1)was driven by a transmission wave from the center of the study area to surrounding areas and reported cases increased significantly after September 2009.We also found that the distribution of influenza A(H1N1)cases was associated with population density and the presence of nearest public places,especially universities(OR=10.166).The final predictive risk map based on the multivariate logistic analysis showed high-risk areas concentrated in the center areas of the study area associated with high population density.Our findings support the identification of spatial risk factors and highrisk areas to guide the prioritization of preventive and mitigation efforts against future influenza pandemics.Hong Xiao Xiaoling Lin Gerardo Chowell Cunrui Huang Lidong Gao Biyun Chen Zheng Wang Liang Zhou Xinguang He Haining Liu Xixing Zhang Huisuo Yang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,5:1

17Superhydrophobic diamond-coated Si nanowires for application of anti-biofouling显示文摘The effect of the surface wettability of plasma-modified vertical Si nanowire array on the bio-fouling performance has been investigated.The Si nanowires prepared by a metal-assisted chemical etching technique exhibit a super-hydrophilic surface.The treatment in CH4/H2 gas plasma environment leads to the decoration of graphite and diamond nanoparticles around Si nanowires.The detailed interface between graphite/diamond and Si nanowire was characterized by HRTEM technique.These surface-modified nanowire samples show an increased water contact angle with ultrananocrystalline diamond decorated ones being superhydrophobic.The immersion test in chlorella solution reveals that the diamond-coated Si nanowires possess the least attachment of chlorella in comparison with other Si nanowires.This result confirms that the coating of Si nanowires with diamond nanoparticles shows the best behavior in anti-biofouling.Importantly,this work provides a method fabricated super-hydrophobic surface for the application of biofouling prevention.Wenjing Long Haining Li Bing Yang Nan Huang Lusheng Liu Zhigang Gai Xin Jiang 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,13:1
