1Cartilage-targeting peptide-modified dual-drug delivery nanoplatform with NIR laser response for osteoarthritis therapy显示文摘Cartilage-targeting delivery of therapeutic agents is still an effective strategy for osteoarthritis(OA)therapy.Recently,scavenging for reactive oxygen species(ROS)and activating autophagy have been increasingly reported to treat OA effectively.In this study,we designed,for the first time,a dual-drug delivery system based on metal organic framework(MOF)-decorated mesoporous polydopamine(MPDA)which composed of rapamycin(Rap)loaded into the mesopores and bilirubin(Br)loaded onto the shell of MOF.The collagen II-targeting peptide(WYRGRL)was then conjugated on the surface of above nanocarrier to develop a cartilage-targeting dual-drug delivery nanoplatform(RB@MPMW).Our results indicated the sequential release of two agents from RB@MPMW could be achieved via near-infrared(NIR)laser irritation.Briefly,the rapid release of Br from the MOF shell exhibited excellent ROS scavenging ability and anti-apoptosis effects,however responsively reduced autophagy activity,to a certain extent.Meanwhile,following the NIR irradiation,Rap was rapidly released from MPDA core and further enhanced autophagy activation and chondrocyte protection.RB@MPMW continuously phosphorylated AMPK and further rescued mitochondrial energy metabolism of chondrocytes following IL-1βstimulation via activating SIRT1-PGC-1αsignaling pathway.Additionally,the cartilage-targeting property of peptide-modified nanocarrier could be monitored via Magnetic Resonance(MR)and IVIS imaging.More significantly,RB@MPMW effectively delayed cartilage degeneration in ACLT rat model.Overall,our findings indicated that the as-prepared dual-drug delivery nanoplatform exerted potent anti-inflammation and anti-apoptotic effects,rescued energy metabolism of chondrocytes in vitro and prevented cartilage degeneration in vivo,which thereby showed positive performance for OA therapy.Song Xue Xiaojun Zhou Weilin Sang Cong Wang Haiming Lu Yiming Xu Yiming Zhong Libo Zhu Chuanglong He Jinzhong Ma 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,8:5
2Observed oceanic feedback to the atmosphere over the Kuroshio Extension during spring time and its possible mechanism显示文摘High-resolution satellite measurements are used to study the air-sea interaction over the Kuroshio Extension (KE) region during spring time. There are two oceanic fronts in the KE region off the east coast of Japan. These fronts are generally associated with strong ocean currents, which may display unstable meander, resulting in remarkable warm sea surface temperature (SST) ridges and cold SST troughs. Analyses of these satellite observations reveal a significantly positive correlation between sea surface wind speed and its underlying SST along these fronts. This positive SST-wind correlation be-comes even more significant when strong meanders occur along the fronts. This positive SST-wind correlation indicates an ocean-to-atmosphere feedback over the KE region during spring time. 3Local electronic structure and magnetic properties of (Ga,Cr)N显示文摘The local electronic structure and mag- netic properties of diluted magnetic semiconductor (Ga,Cr)N have been studied by using discrete varia- tional method (DVM) based on density functional theory. The magnetic moments per Cr atom vary significantly with Cr concentration, and the trend of variation is in agreement with that of the experiment. The coupling between Cr atoms in the system with two Cr atoms considered is found to be ferromagnetic, and the magnetic moment per Cr atom is similar to the case in which only one Cr atom is considered in the same doping concentration. For all doping con- centrations, the coupling between Cr and the nearest neighbor N is found to be antiferromagnetic, and the Cr 3d states hybridize strongly with N 2p states, which are in agreement with the band calculations.LIN He DUAN Haiming 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,13:3
4Magnetoresponsive nanozyme:magnetic stimulation on the nanozyme activity of iron oxide nanoparticles显示文摘The iron oxide nanoparticles(IONPs)that combine the nanozyme activity and magnetothermal properties have attracted significant interest for various biomedical applications.However,the effect of magnetic stimulation in fine-tuning the nanozyme activities remains unclear.Here,we have constructed a series of IONPs with different magneto-thermal conversion abilities,and systematically study the effect of magnetic field stimulation on the peroxidase(POD)activity of IONPs.The results show that POD activity is effectively amplified via an in situ alternating magnetic field(AMF)stimulation with no solution temperature rise,and the degree of activity enhancement is closely related to the magnetic heating ability of the IONPs,confirming the origin of activity enhancement arises from the local magnetothermal effect.As the first report to prove magnetothermal regulation on nanozyme activity and to shed lights on the underlying correlation between activity enhancement and the intrinsic specific absorption rate(SAR),this work is expected to provide important support for future design of new magnetoresponsive nanozymes in various practical applications.Yuan He Xiaoyong Chen Ye Zhang Yanyun Wang Mengyao Cui Galong Li Xiaoli Liu Haiming Fan 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,1:3

6Realizing high-performance organic solar cells through precise control of HOMO driving force based on ternary alloy strategy显示文摘A good deal of studies have proven that effective exciton dissociation and fast hole transport can operate efficiently in non-fullerene organic photovoltaics(OPVs)despite nearly zero driving force.Even so,whether such a phenomenon is universal and how small the driving force can realize the best photovoltaic performance still require a thorough understanding.Herein,despite the zero driving force based on PM6:F8IC system,a maximum short-circuit current(J_(sc))of 23.0 mA/cm^(2) and high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 12.2%can still be achieved.Due to the continuously adjustable energy levels can be realized in organic semiconducting alloys including F8IC:IT-4F and F8IC:Y6,the suitable third components can play the role of energy level regulator.Therefore,the HOMO energy level offset(DEHOMO(D A))from zero to 0.07 and 0.06 eV is accomplished in the optimized IT-4F and Y6 ternary devices.Consequently,both ternary devices achieved substantially increased PCE of 13.8%and Jsc of 24.4 and 25.2 mA/cm^(2),respectively.Besides,pseudo-planar heterojunction(PPHJ)devices based on alloyed acceptors through sequential spin-coating method further improve the photovoltaic performance.Our work puts forward the concept of energy level regulator and prove that the ternary alloy strategy has unique advantages and huge research potential in continuously adjusting the driving force.Ji Wana Zeng Chen Li Zeng Xunfan Liao Qiannan He Siqi Liu Peipei Zhu Haiming Zhu Yiwang Chen 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:1

10Impact of living donor liver with steatosis and idiopathic portal inflammation on clinical outcomes in pediatric liver transplantation:Beijing experience显示文摘Background:To evaluate the impact of steatosis and/or idiopathic portal inflammation(IPI)in living donor livers on recipients’clinical outcomes.Methods:We assessed 305 qualified donor liver samples from June 2013 to December 2018.Donors and recipients’clinical characteristics,including follow-up data were retrieved.The graft and overall survival with/without steatosis or portal inflammation were compared by Kaplan-Meier analysis.Results:For living donors,the medium age of was 31.2(28,35.8)years old;liver histopathology showed macrovesicular steatosis:0-5%264/305(86.6%)and 5-30%41/305(13.4%),IPI:no 220/305(72.1%)and mild 85/305(27.9%).For recipients,the medium age was 1.0(0.6,1.5)years old;the median pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score was 16(5.0,26.0)and medium follow-up time was 32.8(24.8,52.0)months.Biliary atresia(69.5%)was the main indication for liver transplantation(LT).Conclusions:The presence of steatosis and portal inflammation of the donor liver did not impact the clinical outcomes including transaminase or bilirubin normalization,short-/long-term complications and recipients’survival.However,recipients with high pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score(>16)receiving donor liver with portal inflammation,but not steatosis,had trend negative effect on recipients’survival.In conclusion,donor livers with mild steatosis and portal inflammation were qualified for pediatric living donor LT.However,donor liver with mild portal inflammation would better not be allocated to recipients with high pediatric-end-stage-liver-disease score.This study provided new evidence in pediatric living donor liver allocation.Xinyan Zhao Yafei He Jimin Liu Qian Zhang Liwei Liu Wei Qu Ying Liu Zhigui Zeng Haiming Zhang Jidong Jia Liying Sun Lin Wei Zhijun Zhu 2022Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,3:1
11Experimental study on the acoustic propagation and anisotropy of coal rocks显示文摘In order to study the propagation laws of acoustic wave of coal samples from the Upper Permian Xuanwei Formation in the east of Yunnan Province,China,under saturated water and dry conditions,the basic physical parameters,acoustic parameters and anisotropic parameters were obtained through the experiments.Based on FFT and wavelet analysis theory,the spectral characteristics of coal samples under different conditions were studied.The results show that physical parameters of coal samples in different directions have different values,that is,the anisotropy of coal samples is obvious.When the coal samples are saturated with water,the acoustic velocities and the attenuation coefficient increase,whereas the dominant frequency decreases.The signal amplitude of the frequency domain significantly decreases,that is,the internal structure of coal samples is damaged.The P-wave velocity and S-wave velocity increase with the increase of the confining pressure,whereas the anisotropy parameters decrease with the increase of the confining pressure.Overall,this study provides the basis to understand basic acoustic information and anisotropy characteristics of coal samples.Linlin Huang Xiangjun Liu Sen Yan Jian Xiong Haiming He Peng Xiao 2022Petroleum2022,8,1:1
12High-efficiency organic solar cells with low voltage-loss of 0.46 V显示文摘The recent evolution of active components yielded brilliant progresses for organic solar cells(OSCs),yet the mechanism is needed to be clearly understood.In this wo rk,two electron acceptors,a linear SN6-2Br and a V-shaped BTP-2Br,are developed with nitrogen atoms introduced to replace the traditional sp3-hybridized carbon in the fused ring.BTP-2Br possesses an electron-de ficient central core,which exhibits slightly blue-shifted absorption as well as deepened HOMO-level compared with SN6-2Br.The corresponding photovoltaic performance from V-shaped BTP-2Br based devices exhibit superior performance especially in short-circuit current(Jsc),despite an enhanced absorption and charge carrier mobilities for SN6-2Br.The primary reason for the higher JSC from BTP-2Br is faster exciton diffusion and dissociation in ble nds,than those of SN6-2Br.As a result,PBDB-TF:BTP-2Br based devices achieve a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 13.84%with an voltage-loss of only 0.46 V,which is one of the lowest values ever reported.Moreover,we fabricated semitransparent OSCs that exhibit an excellent PCE of 9.62%with average visible transparency of 20.1%.Zhi-Peng Yu Xue Li Chengliang He Di Wang Ran Qin Guanqing Zhou Zhi-Xi Liu Thomas Rieks Andersen Haiming Zhu Hongzheng Chen Chang-Zhi Li 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7:0

14An Upper Crustal Ophiolite Remnant within the Feather River Ultramafic Belt, California:Tectonomagmatic Origins and Implications for Its Evolution显示文摘The 150-km-long Feather River ultramafic belt(FRB) of the northern Sierra Nevada,California,consists of serpentinized ultramafic rocks,gabbroic rocks,with lesser amounts of amphibolitic rocks. The gabbroic rocks contain metagabbro and dikes within it. Based on the electron microprobe analyses,the metagabbro consists of typical igneous composition for clinopyroxene and early hornblende,indicating that they bear low grade metamorphism. The gabbroic rocks show Nb and Ta depletion in primitive-mantle normalized plots that is similar to typical island arc rocks. We present that the metagabbro within the ultramafic rocks is forming in the suprasubduction zone setting. Tectonic models are presented for the metagabbro and amphibolitic rocks in FRB. The low P burial metamorphism of the upper plate metagabbro and the high grade amphibolitic rocks are typical of relationships of upper plate ophiolites to metamorphic soles. The amphibolitic rocks record as metamorphic sole forming during subduction initiation beneath the ultramafic rocks and metagabbro. 15Ensemble-transfer-learning-based channel parameter prediction in asymmetric massive MIMO systems显示文摘Asymmetric massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)systems have been proposed to reduce the burden of data processing and hardware cost in sixth-generation mobile networks(6G).However,in the asymmetric massive MIMO system,reciprocity between the uplink(UL)and downlink(DL)wireless channels is not valid.As a result,pilots are required to be sent by both the base station(BS)and user equipment(UE)to predict doubledirectional channels,which consumes more transmission and computational resources.In this paper we propose an ensemble-transfer-learning-based channel parameter prediction method for asymmetric massive MIMO systems.It can predict multiple DL channel parameters including path loss(PL),multipath number,delay spread(DS),and angular spread.Both the UL channel parameters and environment features are chosen to predict the DL parameters.Also,we propose a two-step feature selection algorithm based on the SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP)value and the minimum description length(MDL)criterion to reduce the computation complexity and negative impact on model accuracy caused by weakly correlated or uncorrelated features.In addition,the instance transfer method is introduced to support the prediction model in new propagation conditions,where it is difficult to collect enough training data in a short time.Simulation results show that the proposed method is more accurate than the back propagation neural network(BPNN)and the 3GPP TR 38.901 channel model.Additionally,the proposed instancetransfer-based method outperforms the method without transfer learning in predicting DL parameters when the beamwidth or the communication sector changes.Zunwen HE Yue LI Yan ZHANG Wancheng ZHANG Kaien ZHANG Liu GUO Haiming WANG 2023Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,2:0
16Effects of iron and humic acid on competition between Microcystis aeruginosa and Scenedesmus obliquus revealed by HPLC analysis of pigments显示文摘Iron is a vital micronutrient for growth of bloom-forming Microcystis aeruginosa and competition with other algae,and its availability is affected by humic acid.The effect of iron and humic acid on growth and competition between M.aeruginosa and Scenedesmus obliquus was assessed.The results showed the growth of M.aeruginosa and S.obliquus in mono-cultures was inhibited by humic acid at low iron concentrations(0.01 mg/L);the maximum inhibition ratios were 67.84%and 38.31%,respectively.The inhibition of humic acid on the two species was significantly alleviated when iron concentrations were 1.00 mg/L,with the maximum inhibition rate reduced to 5.82%for M.aeruginosa and to 23.06%for S.obliquus.S.obliquus was the dominant species in mixed cultures,and the mutual inhibition between M.aeruginosa and S.obliquus at low iron concentration was greater than that at high iron concentration.The inhibition of S.obliquus on M.aeruginosa was reduced at low iron concentrations;it increased at high iron concentrations,as concentrations of humic acid rose.Miaomiao ZHAO Qiang HE Chongtai CHEN Yaqi TIAN Jing WEI Pengfei DUAN Haiming WU Ming LI 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,2:0

18Screening of additives to reduce grain damage risk on unhairing by proteinase K显示文摘Enzymatic unhairing is a cleaner strategy for leather-making.It is a potential alternative to the traditional hairburning process.However,several shortcomings,such as uncontrolled enzymatic reaction,and risk of grain looseness and damage have restricted the broad application of enzymatic unhairing.In this work,metal ions and organic additives were screened for lessening the hydrolytic activity of proteinase K to collagen fiber.Then,the selected additives were applied to the enzymatic unhairing process for bovine hide.The results showed that a suitable concentration of metal ions(Cu(Ⅱ),Fe(Ⅲ)and Al(Ⅲ))and organic additives(salicylate,laurate,adipate,gallate and epicatechin(ECG))could diminish approximately 35% of the hydrolytic activity of proteinase K to collagen fibers.Then,the additives were applied for the bovine hide enzymatic unhairing process.Hydroxyproline determination in the unhairing float shows that applying additives could reduce collagen hydrolysis.The morphology results showed that the grain damage could be significantly reduced with the addition of the screened additives in the proteinase K enzymatic unhairing system,whereas the addition of ECG and gallate significantly slowed down the unhairing speed.This outcome provides new potential to reduce the risk of grain damage in enzymatic unhairing process.Mei Chen Mingfang Jiang He Li Haiming Cheng 2020Journal of Leather Science and Engineering2020,2,1:0
