1三维超高场7T高分辨磁敏感加权像静脉造影(英文)显示文摘目的超高场磁共振具有高信噪比和独特的磁敏感对比,使其在无创性脑血管造影尤其是对小静脉的检测有明显优势。本文探讨如何在超高场磁共振7T优化和获取高质量的磁敏感加权像(SWI)静脉造影。方法选择10例正常志愿者作为研究对象,采集一系列7TSWI静脉造影数据并与3T结果作对比。选择参数TR=30~45ms,TE=13~26ms,带宽(BW)=80~140Hz/pixel,翻转角(FA)=10~25?;所有的数据用同样的图像后处理方式得到最小信号叠加投影(mIP)的SWI静脉造影像,并进行定量化分析。结果图像优化后,我们得到高分辨率的7T静脉造影图像。根据静脉血的T2*选择优化TE:16ms(7T),28ms(3T);FA:15?(3T和7T)。相对于3T,7TSWI图像有较高的信噪比和静脉与周围组织的对比度,并显示出更多的微小静脉。结论超高场SWI静脉造影对于显示微小静脉具有明显的优势。Yulin Ge Samuel Barnes Samantha Heller Daniel K.Sodickson Lin Tang E.Mark Haacke Jianping Dai Robert I.Grossman 2010磁共振成像2010,1,2:8

3Pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis and drugs used in associated digestive tract diseases显示文摘Cystic fibrosis(CF)causes chronic infections in the respiratory tract and alters the digestive tract.This paper reviews the most important aspects of drug treatment and changes in the digestive tract of patients with CF.This is a review of the literature,emphasizing the discoveries made within the last 15 years by analyzing scientific papers published in journals indexed in the Scientific Electronic Library Online,Sciences Information,United States National Library of Medicine and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online databases,both in English and Portuguese,using the key words:cystic fibrosis,medication,therapeutic,absorption,digestion.Randomized,observational,experimental,and epidemiological clinical studies were selected,among others,with statistical significance of 5%.This review evaluates the changes found in the digestive tract of CF patients including pancreatic insufficiency,constipation and liver diseases.Changes in nutritional status are also described.Clinical treatment,nutritional supplementation and drug management were classified in this review as essential to the quality of life of CF patients,and became available through public policies for monitoring and treating CF.The information gathered on CF and a multi professional approach to the disease is essential in the treatment of these patients.Adriana Haack Giselle Gonalves Arago Maria Rita Carvalho Garbi Novaes 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,46:7

8Ultrafast photonic PCR显示文摘Nucleic acid amplification and quantification via polymerase chain reaction(PCR)is one of the most sensitive and powerful tools for clinical laboratories,precision medicine,personalized medicine,agricultural science,forensic science and environmental science.Ultrafast multiplex PCR,characterized by low power consumption,compact size and simple operation,is ideal for timely diagnosis at the point-of-care(POC).Although several fast/ultrafast PCR methods have been proposed,the use of a simple and robust PCR thermal cycler remains challenging for POC testing.Here,we present an ultrafast photonic PCR method using plasmonic photothermal light-to-heat conversion via photon–electron–phonon coupling.We demonstrate an efficient photonic heat converter using a thin gold(Au)film due to its plasmon-assisted high optical absorption(approximately 65%at 450 nm,the peak wavelength of heat source light-emitting diodes(LEDs)).The plasmon-excited Au film is capable of rapidly heating the surrounding solution to over 150℃ within 3 min.Using this method,ultrafast thermal cycling(30 cycles;heating and cooling rate of 12.7960.93℃ s^(-1) and 6.660.29℃ s^(-1),respectively)from 55℃(temperature of annealing)to 95℃(temperature of denaturation)is accomplished within 5 min.Using photonic PCR thermal cycles,we demonstrate here successful nucleic acid(λ-DNA)amplification.Our simple,robust and low cost approach to ultrafast PCR using an efficient photonic-based heating procedure could be generally integrated into a variety of devices or procedures,including on-chip thermal lysis and heating for isothermal amplifications.Jun Ho Son Byungrae Cho SoonGweon Hong Sang Hun Lee Ori Hoxha Amanda J Haack Luke P Lee 2015Light(Science & Applications)2015,4,1:2
9An All-Speed Asymptotic-Preserving Method for the Isentropic Euler and Navier-Stokes Equations显示文摘The computation of compressible flows becomesmore challengingwhen the Mach number has different orders of magnitude.When the Mach number is of order one,modern shock capturing methods are able to capture shocks and other complex structures with high numerical resolutions.However,if theMach number is small,the acoustic waves lead to stiffness in time and excessively large numerical viscosity,thus demanding much smaller time step and mesh size than normally needed for incompressible flow simulation.In this paper,we develop an all-speed asymptotic preserving(AP)numerical scheme for the compressible isentropic Euler and Navier-Stokes equations that is uniformly stable and accurate for all Mach numbers.Our idea is to split the system into two parts:one involves a slow,nonlinear and conservative hyperbolic system adequate for the use of modern shock capturing methods and the other a linear hyperbolic system which contains the stiff acoustic dynamics,to be solved implicitly.This implicit part is reformulated into a standard pressure Poisson projection system and thus possesses sufficient structure for efficient fast Fourier transform solution techniques.In the zero Mach number limit,the scheme automatically becomes a projection method-like incompressible solver.We present numerical results in one and two dimensions in both compressible and incompressible regimes.Jeffrey Haack Shi Jin Jian-Guo Liu 2012Communications in Computational Physics2012,12,9:2
10Ineffective oesophageal motility:Manometric subsets exhibit different symptom profiles显示文摘AIM:To compare the demographic and clinical features of different manometric subsets of ineffective oesophageal motility(IOM;defined as ≥ 30% wet swallows with distal contractile amplitude < 30 mmHg) ,and to determine whether the prevalence of gastro-oesophageal reflux differs between IOM subsets. METHODS:Clinical characteristics of manometric subsets were determined in 100 IOM patients(73 female,median age 58 years) and compared to those of 100 age-and gender-matched patient controls with oesophageal symptoms,but normal manometry. Supine oesophageal manometry was performed with an eight-channel DentSleeve water-perfused catheter,and an ambulatory pH study assessed gastro-oesophageal reflux. RESULTS:Patients in the IOM subset featuring a majority of low-amplitude simultaneous contractions(LASC) experienced less heartburn(prevalence 26%) ,but more dysphagia(57%) than those in the IOM subset featuring low-amplitude propagated contractions(LAP;heartburn 70%,dysphagia 24%;both P ≤ 0.01) . LASC patients also experienced less heartburn and more dysphagia than patient controls(heartburn 68%,dysphagia 11%;both P < 0.001) . The prevalence of heartburn and dysphagia in IOM patients featuring a majority of non-transmitted sequences(NT) was 54%(P = 0.04 vs LASC) and 36%(P < 0.01 vs controls) ,respectively. No differences inage and gender distribution,chest pain prevalence,acid exposure time(AET) and symptom/reflux association existed between IOM subsets,or between subsets and controls. CONCLUSION:IOM patients with LASC exhibit a different symptom profile to those with LAP,but do not differ in gastro-oesophageal reflux prevalence.
