Three-dimensional Model Analysis of Electric Field Excited by Multi-circuit Intersecting Overhead Transmission Lines显示文摘This work is carried out to predict the special distribution of electric field induced by multi-circuit intersecting overhead high-voltage (HV) transmission lines (TLs) within a large range without any expensive and time-consuming computation. The two main parts of the presented methodology are 1) setting up a three-dimensional (3D) model to calculate the electric field based on combining ca- tenary equations with charge simulation method and 2) calculating the hybrid electric field excited by multi-circuit intersecting TLs using coordinate transformation and superposition technique. Examples of different TLs configurations, including a 220 kV single-circuit hori- zontally configured TLs, a 500 kV single-circuit triangularly configured TLs and a combination of the 220 kV TLs and the 550 kV TLs, are illustrated to verify the validity of this methodology. A more complicatal configurations, including a 500 kV double-circuit TLs and two 220 kV single-circuit horizontally configured TLs, are also calculated. Conclusions were drawn from the simulation: 1) The presented 3D model outperforms 2D models in describing the electric field distribution generated by practical HV TLs with sag and span. 2) Coordinate trans- formation and superposition technique considerably simplify the electric field computation for multi-circuit TLs configurations, which makes it possible to deal with complex engineering problems. 3) The electric field in the area covered by multiple intersecting overhead TLs is distorted and the hybrid electric field strength in some partial region increases so sharply that it might exceed the admissible value. 4) The configuration parameters of the TLs and the spatial configuration of multi-circuit TLs, for instance, the height of TLs, the length of span and the intersection angle of multiple circuits, influence the strength and the distribution of hybrid electric field. The influence regularities sum- marized in this paper can be referred by future TL designs to meet the electromagnetic environmental protection regulations. | XIAO Dongping LEI Hui ZHANG Zhanlong HE Wei | 2013 | 高电压技术2013,39,8: | 2
Mode for reducing wind curtailment based on battery transportation显示文摘Renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, face several obstacles, including curtailment, where the generated energy exceeds local demand and production must be reduced because of limited transmission capacity.Simultaneously, consumer demand for large-capacity batteries is expanding given the recent rapid development of electric vehicles(EVs) and plug-in hybrid EVs. A batterycharging mode, in which discharged batteries are transported from battery exchange stations in high-load areas to wind farms, is proposed to alleviate curtailment. In this study, batteries store otherwise curtailed energy and smooth the wind power output simultaneously. The structure of the battery-charging device is discussed, and the concept of a battery-charging container is proposed. The control principle of the battery-charging management unit is presented with a simulation model constructed in the PSCAD/EMTDC environment. A case study is simulated, and the feasibility of the mode is analyzed considering the levelized cost and energy losses. Simulation results show that this mode is a feasible solution to alleviating wind curtailment and providing fresh impetus for developing EV battery exchanges. | Zhanlong ZHANG Daojun MEI Han JIANG Guohua LIU Hongpeng HE Yue CHEN | 2018 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,6: | 2
Immunogenicity and protective efficacy of a recombinant protein subunit vaccine and an inactivated vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 variants in non-human primates显示文摘Emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants and the gradually decreasing neutralizing antibodies over time post vaccination have led to an increase in incidents of breakthrough infection across the world. To investigate the potential protective effect of the recombinant protein subunit COVID-19 vaccine targeting receptor-binding domain(RBD)(PS-RBD)and whole inactivated virus particle vaccine(IV)against the variant strains,in this study, rhesus macaques were immunized with PS-RBD or IV vaccine, followed by a Beta variant(B.1.351)challenge.Although neutralizing activity against the Beta variant was reduced compared with that against the prototype, the decreased viral load in both upper and lower respiratory tracts, milder pathological changes, and downregulated inflammatory cytokine levels in lung tissues after challenge demonstrated that PS-RBD and IV still provided effective protection against the Beta variant in the macaque model.Furthermore,PS-RBD-induced macaque sera possessed general binding and neutralizing activity to Alpha,Beta,Delta, and Omicron variants in our study, though the neutralizing antibody(NAb)titers declined by varying degrees, demonstrating potential protection of PS-RBD against current circulating variants of concern(VOCs).Interestingly, although the IV vaccine-induced extremely low neutralizing antibody titers against the Beta variant,it still showed reduction for viral load and significantly alleviated pathological change.Other correlates of vaccine-induced protection(CoP)like antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC)and immune memory were both confirmed to be existing in IV vaccinated group and possibly be involved in the protective mechanism. | Qian He Qunying Mao Xiaozhong Peng Zhanlong He Shuaiyao Lu Jialu Zhang Fan Gao Lianlian Bian Chaoqiang An Wenhai Yu Fengmei Yang Yanan Zhou Yun Yang Yanyan Li Yadi Yuan Xujia Yan Jinghuan Yang Xing Wu Weijin Huang Changgui Li Junzhi Wang Zhenglun Liang Miao Xu | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 2
Rapidly developable therapeutic-grade equine immunoglobulin against the SARS-CoV-2 infection in rhesus macaques显示文摘Dear Editor,The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 remains ongoing, but there is a lack of fully effective treatments.Convalescent plasma-derived hyperimmune globulins have been a safe and effective treatment but restricted by the difficulties in obtaining sufficient plasma with high antibody titers from a large number of recovered patients.Heterologous antibodies, particularly equine antibodies, have been widely used for decades as the therapeutics against some viral infections or as antivenoms.1 Equine antibodies could be rapidly developed and manufactured into therapeutic antibodies in large quantities under WHO standardized guidelines. Here we explored the development of equine antibody-derived F(ab′)2 as an option to treat COVID-19 by targeting the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of the viral spike protein that is essential for the viral entry into the host cells.2 We observed excellent neutralization titers of the F(ab′)2 in vitro and high potency against SARS-CoV-2 infection in the nonhuman primate rhesus macaques. | Xiaolei Liu Yi Liu Xuemin Jin Zhanlong He Zhen Huang Shumin Sun Yuwei Gao Jingyu Li Qin Ning Zhongping Xie Ningyi Jin Mingyuan Liu | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,8: | 2

Pathogenic analysis of coxsackievirus A10 in rhesus macaques显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CV-A10)is one of the etiological agents associated with hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD)and also causes a variety of illnesses in humans, including pneumonia, and myocarditis.Different people, particularly young children, may have different immunological responses to infection.Current CV-A10 infection animal models provide only a rudimentary understanding of the pathogenesis and effects of this virus. The characteristics of CV-A10 infection, replication, and shedding in humans remain unknown. In this study, rhesus macaques were infected by CV-A10 via respiratory or digestive route to mimic the HFMD in humans. The clinical symptoms, viral shedding, inflammatory response and pathologic changes were investigated in acute infection(1–11 day post infection)and recovery period(12–180 day post infection). All infected rhesus macaques during acute infection showed obvious viremia and clinical symptoms which were comparable to those observed in humans.Substantial inflammatory pathological damages were observed in multi-organs,including the lung, heart, liver, and kidney.During the acute period, all rhesus macaques displayed clinical signs, viral shedding, normalization of serum cytokines, and increased serum neutralizing antibodies, whereas inflammatory factors caused some animals to develop severe hyperglycemia during the recovery period. In addition, there were no significant differences between respiratory and digestive tract infected animals.Overall, all data presented suggest that the rhesus macaques provide the first non-human primate animal model for investigating CV-A10 pathophysiology and assessing the development of potential human therapies. | Suqin Duan Fengmei Yang Yanyan Li Yuan Zhao Li Shi Meng Qin Quan Liu Weihua Jin Junbin Wang Lixiong Chen Wei Zhang Yongjie Li Ying Zhang Jingjing Zhang Shaohui Ma Zhanlong He Qihan Li | 2022 | Virologica Sinica2022,37,4: | 1
