| 1 | Ultrafast epitaxial growth of metre-sized single-crystal graphene on industrial Cu foil显示文摘A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copper foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented grains.This growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene film.These achievements were realized by a temperature-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temperature sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. | 2 | Laboratory study on the mechanical behaviors of an anisotropic shale rock显示文摘Shale gas is becoming an important energy source worldwide.The geomechanical properties of shale rocks can have a major impact on the ef fi ciency of shale gas exploration.This paper studied the mineralogical and mechanical characteristics of a typical gas shale in Ohio,USA.Scanning electron microscope(SEM)with energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)analyses was employed to measure the microstructure and material composition of the shale rock.The anisotropic behaviors of shale rock,including compressive and tensile strengths,were experimentally measured.The characteristics of shale rock were also studied by nondestructive wave speed measurements.The shale demonstrated strong anisotropic behaviors with the tensile strengths perpendicular to the bedding plane around 300e360 times of that parallel to bedding plane.Results of ultrasonic tests indicated that both compression and shear wave velocities show strong anisotropic patterns.The compression wave speed was the smallest in the direction perpendicular to the bedding plane;while the shear wave speed was the smallest in the direction parallel to the bedding plane.The ratio of wave speed anisotropy is around 1.3e1.4 for compression wave;the ratio of shear wave speed anisotropy is larger and more diverse compared with the compression wave anisotropy.This might be related to the larger variability in the frictional adhesive strength along bedding plane than the compressive adhesive strength. | Quan Gao Junliang Tao Jianying Hu Xiong(Bill) Yu | 2015 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2015,7,2: | 10 |
| 3 | Expansion of Urban Space and Land Use Control in the Process of Urbanization: an Overview显示文摘Urban expansion brought by the rapid progress of urbanization has caused many problems in China. It is a significant issue to evaluate the extent of urban expansion and to make appropriate controls over the sprawl of urban areas. With a comparative study of international experiences, this article analyzed the mechanism and consequences of urban expansion, reviewed the typical planning and financial policies adopted by other countries for controlling urban sprawl, and discussed the suitable densities of urban areas. The analysis results suggested that Chinese cities have no better choice but compact urban forms. | 5 | Spatial Structure and Land Use Control in Extended Metropolitan Region of Zhujiang River Delta,China显示文摘The Zhujiang (Pearl) River Delta is one of the most developed Extended Metropolitan Regions (EMR) in China.With the rapid urbanization,the agglomeration of population and industries has emerged,which has led to dramatic changes of spatial structure and land use in this region.With data of high resolution TM remote sensing images and Google Earth maps,this paper identified and analyzed the spatial pattern of the Zhujiang River Delta EMR using Envy and ArcGIS tools.It was found that 1) the industrial land uses were expanding substantially,particularly on the bank sides of the Zhujiang River estuary;2) large-scale housing developments were concentrated in the fringe of metropolitan areas such as those of Guangzhou and Shenzhen;3) a regional transportation network with the spatial pattern of ″1 circle +2 pieces + 3 axes″ had significantly affected the location choice of manufacture enterprises.At the same time,both highly specialized land use and severely mixed land use patterns were identified.As a consequence of the latter,land use efficiency of the whole EMR areas was reduced.Moreover,ecologic and environmental problems were severe.Based on the above analysis,suggestions were given from the viewpoint of spatial safety,land use efficiency,and the reorganization of spatial structure in the Zhujiang River Delta EMR. | DAI Junliang WANG Kaiyong GAO Xiaolu | 2010 | Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,4: | 4 |
| 6 | CsPb(I_(x)Br_(1-x))_(3) solar cells显示文摘Owing to its nice performance, low cost, and simple solution-processing, organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell(PSC) becomes a promising candidate for next-generation high-efficiency solar cells.The power conversion efficiency(PCE) has boosted from 3.8% to 25.2% over the past ten years. Despite the rapid progress in PCE, the device stability is a key issue that impedes the commercialization of PSCs. Recently, all-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have attracted much attention due to their better stability compared with their organic-inorganic counterpart. In this progress report, we summarize the properties of CsPb(IxBr1-x)3 and their applications in solar cells. The current challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. | 8 | Ruthenium(Ⅱ)-cored supramolecular organic framework-mediated recyclable visible light photoreduction of azides to amines and cascade formation of lactams显示文摘Ru(bpy)3]2+-cored supramolecular organic framework SMOF-1, assembled from a [Ru(bpy)3]2+-derived hexaarmed molecule and cucurbit[8]uril, has been demonstrated to heterogeneously catalyze visible light-induced reduction of phenyl, benzyl, 2-phenylethyl and 3-phenylpropyl azides in acetonitrile to produce the corresponding amines in good to high yields. For the last two kinds of azides that bear a CO2Me group at the para-position of the benzene ring, cascade reactions take place to generate the corresponding lactams in high yields. Compared with homogeneous control [Ru(bpy)3]Cl2, SMOF-1 exhibits remarkably increased photocatalysis activity as a result of synergistic effect of the [Ru(bpy)3]2+ units that form cubic cages to host the azide molecules and related intermediates. | 9 | Fully Roll‑to‑Roll Processed Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells via Precise Control on the Morphology of PbI_(2):CsI Layer显示文摘Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted tremendous attention as a promising alternative candidate for clean energy generation.Many attempts have been made with various deposition techniques to scale-up manufacturing.Slot-die coating is a robust and facile deposition technique that can be applied in large-area roll-to-roll(R2R)fabrication of thin film solar cells with the advantages of high material utilization,low cost and high throughput.Herein,we demonstrate the encouraging result of PSCs prepared by slot-die coating under ambient environment using a twostep sequential process whereby PbI_(2):CsI is slot-die coated first followed by a subsequent slot-die coating of organic cations containing solution.A porous PbI_(2):CsI film can promote the rapid and complete transformation into perovskite film.The crystallinity and morphology of perovskite films are significantly improved by optimizing nitrogen blowing and controlling substrate temperature.A power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.13%is achieved,which is promising for PSCs fabricated by two-step fully slot-die-coated devices.Furthermore,PSCs with a 1 cm2 area yield a champion PCE of 15.10%.Moreover,a PCE of 13.00%is obtained on a flexible substrate by the roll-to-roll(R2R)coating,which is one of the highest reported cells with all layers except for metal electrode fabricated by R2R process under ambient condition. | Hengyue Li Chuantian Zuo Dechan Angmo Hasitha Weerasinghe Mei Gao Junliang Yang | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,5: | 2 |
| 10 | Enhancing Collaborative Filtering via Topic Model Integrated Uniform Euclidean Distance显示文摘Recommendation system can greatly alleviate the 'information overload' in the big data era. Existing recommendation methods, however, typically focus on predicting missing rating values via analyzing user-item dualistic relationship, which neglect an important fact that the latent interests of users can influence their rating behaviors. Moreover, traditional recommendation methods easily suffer from the high dimensional problem and cold-start problem. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a PBUED(PLSA-Based Uniform Euclidean Distance) scheme, which utilizes topic model and uniform Euclidean distance to recommend the suitable items for users. The solution first employs probabilistic latent semantic analysis(PLSA) to extract users' interests, users with different interests are divided into different subgroups. Then, the uniform Euclidean distance is adopted to compute the users' similarity in the same interest subset; finally, the missing rating values of data are predicted via aggregating similar neighbors' ratings. | 12 | Response of C:N:P in the plant-soil system and stoichiometric homeostasis of Nitraria tangutorum leaves in the oasis-desert ecotone,Northwest China显示文摘Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas are widely distributed in the arid and semi-arid desert areas of China.The formation and development of N.tangutorum nebkhas are the result of the interaction between vegetation and the surrounding environment in the process of community succession.Different successional stages of N.tangutorum nebkhas result in differences in the community structure and composition,thereby strongly affecting the distribution of soil nutrients and ecosystem stability.However,the ecological stoichiometry of N.tangutorum nebkhas in different successional stages remains poorly understood.Understanding the stoichiometric homeostasis of N.tangutorum could provide insights into its adaptability to the arid and semi-arid desert environments.Therefore,we analyzed the stoichiometric characteristics of N.tangutorum in four successional stages,i.e.,rudimental,developing,stabilizing,and degrading stages using a homeostasis model in an oasis-desert ecotone of Northwest China.The results showed that soil organic carbon(SOC),total nitrogen(TN),and total phosphorus(TP)contents and their ratios in the 0-100 cm soil depth were significantly lower than the averages at regional and global scales and were weakly influenced by successional stages in the oasis-desert ecotone.TN and TP contents and C:N:P in the soil showed similar trends.Total carbon(TC)and TN contents in leaves were 450.69-481.07 and 19.72-29.35 g/kg,respectively,indicating that leaves of N.tangutorum shrubs had a high storage capacity for C and N.Leaf TC and TN contents and N:P ratio increased from the rudimental stage to the stabilizing stage and then decreased in the degrading stage,while the reverse trend was found for leaf C:N.Leaf TP content decreased from the rudimental stage to the degrading stage and changed significantly in late successional stages.N:P ratio was above the theoretical limit of 14,indicating that the growth of N.tangutorum shrubs was limited by P during successional stages.Leaf N,P,and N:P homeostasis in four successional stages was identified as''strictly homeostasis''.Redundancy analysis(RDA)revealed that soil acidity(pH)and the maximum water holding capacity were the main factors affecting C:N:P stoichiometric characteristics in N.tangutorum leaves.Our study demonstrated that N.tangutorum with a high degree of stoichiometric homeostasis could better cope with the arid desert environment. | WEI Yajuan DANG Xiaohong WANG Ji GAO Junliang GAO Yan | 2021 | Journal of Arid Land2021,13,9: | 1 |
| 13 | Large-scale roll-to-roll printed,flexible and stable organic bulk heterojunction photodetector显示文摘A flexible and stable photodetector shows great potential applications in intelligent wearable devices,health monitoring,and biological sensing.The high-output fabrication of flexible and stable photodetector via the large-scale printing process would accelerate its commercialization.Herein,a high performance,flexible organic bulk heterojunction(BHJ)photodetector with good stability is designed and fabricated via a large-scale roll-to-roll(R2R)micro-gravure printing technique on polyethylene terephthalate(PET)or paper substrate,in which the organic BHJ active layer is structured with[6,6]-phenyl C_(61)butyric acid methyl ester(PCBM)and a donor-acceptor copolymer,i.e.,employing 4,8-bis(2-ethylhexylthiophene)benzo[1,2-b;3,4-b′]dithiophene(BDTT)as the donor unit and 5,8-bis(5-thiophen-2-yl)-6,7-difluoro-2,3-bis(4-ethylhexyloxy-1-mata-luorophenyl)quinoxaline(ffQx)as the acceptor unit(PBDTT-ffQx).The PBDTT-ffQx/PCBM BHJ photodetector shows a broad photoresponse in ultraviolet and visible light,a high detectivity(D^(*))value up to 6.19×10^(11)Jones,and an excellent Iphoto/Idark as high as 5.6×10^(2).It exhibits excellent flexibility and stability.Its performance parameters could maintain over 80%of original values after bending 10,000 cycles or exposing in ambient condition(humidity~50%,temperature~30℃)for 50 days without any encapsulation.More importantly,the R2R micro-gravure printed PBDTT-ffQx/PCBM BHJ active layer is great homogeneous,and the responsivity(R)values of photodetector arrays show a very narrow distribution.The research results show that a high-performance PBDTT-ffQx/PCBM BHJ photodetector with well reliability and reproducibility can be fabricated via the R2R micro-gravure printing technique,which provides an available strategy for fabricating large-area and flexible electronic and optoelectronic devices. | Sichao Tong Jun Yuan Chujun Zhang Chunhua Wang Baoxing Liu Jianqiang Shen Huayan Xia Yingping Zou Haipeng Xie Jia Sun Si Xiao Jun He Yongli Gao Junliang Yang | 2018 | npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1: | 0 |

The nanoclustersare characterized and formulated as [Au13(dppe)sCl2]C13 using synchrotronradiation X-ray diffraction, UV/Vis absorption spectroscopy, electrosprayionization mass spectrometry, and density functional theory (DFT) calculations.The bidentate feature of dppe ligands and the positions of coordinating surfacegold atoms induce a helical arrangement that forms a propeller-like structure,which reduces the symmetry of the gold nanocluster to C1. Therefore, dppeligands perform as a directing agent to create chiral an ansa metaUamacrocycle[Au13(dppe)sC12]3. nanocluster, as confirmed by simulated electronic circulardichroism spectrum. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)-lowestunoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) gap of the [Au13(dppe)sC12]3. duster isdetermined as approx. 1.9 eV, and further confirmed by ultraviolet photoemissionspectroscopy analysis and DFT simulation. Furthermore, the photoactivityof [Au13(dppe)sC12]3+ is investigated, with the nanocluster shown to possessnear-infrared photoluminescence properties, which can be employed for102 photogeneration. | 17 | Crystallization and Orientation Modulation Enable Highly Efficient Doctor-Bladed Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘With the rapid rise in perovskite solar cells(PSCs)performance,it is imperative to develop scalable fabrication techniques to accelerate potential commercialization.However,the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of PSCs fabricated via scalable two-step sequential deposition lag far behind the state-of-the-art spin-coated ones.Herein,the additive methylammonium chloride(MACl)is introduced to modulate the crystallization and orientation of a two-step sequential doctorbladed perovskite film in ambient conditions.MACl can significantly improve perovskite film quality and increase grain size and crystallinity,thus decreasing trap density and suppressing nonradiative recombination.Meanwhile,MACl also promotes the preferred face-up orientation of the(100)plane of perovskite film,which is more conducive to the transport and collection of carriers,thereby significantly improving the fill factor.As a result,a champion PCE of 23.14%and excellent longterm stability are achieved for PSCs based on the structure of ITO/SnO_(2)/FA_(1-x)MA_xPb(I_(1-y)Br_y)_3/Spiro-OMeTAD/Ag.The superior PCEs of 21.20%and 17.54%are achieved for 1.03 cm~2 PSC and 10.93 cm~2 mini-module,respectively.These results represent substantial progress in large-scale two-step sequential deposition of high-performance PSCs for practical applications. | Jianhui Chang Erming Feng Hengyue Li Yang Ding Caoyu Long Yuanji Gao Yingguo Yang Chenyi Yi Zijian Zheng Junliang Yang | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,10: | 0 |
| 18 | Superior multiphase interfaces in AgCuTe-based composite with significantly enhanced thermoelectric properties显示文摘It is common sense that a phase interface(or grain boundary)could be used to scatter phonons in thermoelectric(TE)materials,resulting in low thermal conductivity(k).However,a large number of impurity phases are always so harmful to the transport of carriers that poor TE performance is obtained.Here,we demonstrate that numerous superior multiphase(AgCuTe,Ag_(−2)Te,copper telluride(Cu_(2)Te and Cu_(2−x)Te),and nickel telluride(NiTe))interfaces with simultaneous strong phonon scattering and weak electron scattering could be realized in AgCuTe-based TE materials.Owing to the similar chemical bonds in these phases,the depletion region at phase interfaces,which acts as carrier scattering centers,could be ignored.Therefore,the power factor(PF)is obviously enhanced from~609 to~832μW·m^(−1)·K^(−2),and k is simultaneously decreased from~0.52 to~0.43 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1) at 636 K.Finally,a peak figure of merit(zT)of~1.23 at 636 K and an average zT(zTavg)of~1.12 in the temperature range of 523–623 K are achieved,which are one of the best values among the AgCuTe-based TE materials.This study could provide new guidance to enhance the performance by designing superior multiphase interfaces in the TE materials. | Wenpei Li Zhonghai Yu Chengyan Liu Ying Peng Baoquan Feng Jie Gao Guojing Wu Xiaobo Bai Junliang Chen Xiaoyang Wang Lei Miao | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,8: | 0 |
| 19 | Prevalence and risk factors for minimal hepatic encephalopathy in cirrhotic patients with different etiologies显示文摘Aims:Minimal hepatic encephalopathy(MHE)significantly affects the prognosis of patients with cirrhosis.This study was performed to determine whether there is a difference in the prevalence of MHE among patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies and whether the etiology directly influences the occurrence of MHE.Methods:This multicenter,cross-sectional study enrolled 1879 patients with confirmed cirrhosis at 40 hospitals from October 25,2021,to January 10,2023(Trial registration:http://gffzzd3f38a9638994581sock6wwvun5u96puw.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/[NCT05140837]).The patients'demographics,etiologies of cirrhosis,and laboratory test results were collected.The psychometric hepatic encephalopathy score(PHES)was determined in all patients to screen for MHE.Multivariate logistic analyses were performed to identify the risk factors for MHE.Results:In total,736 patients with cirrhosis were analyzed.The prevalence of MHE was 42.0%(n=309).The primary etiology among all patients was hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related cirrhosis(71.9%[529/736]).The prevalence of MHE was significantly higher in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis(57.1%[40/70])than in those with HBV-related cirrhosis(40.6%[215/529],p=0.009)or hepatitis C virus(HCV)-related cirrhosis(38.2%[26/68],p=0.026).Age(odds ratio[OR],1.042;95%confidence interval[CI],1.024-1.059;p<0.001),duration of education(OR,0.935;95%CI,0.899-0.971;p=0.001),etiology(OR,1.740;95%CI,1.028-2.945;p=0.039),and high MELD-Na scores(OR,1.038;95%CI,1.009-1.067;p=0.009)were independent risk factors for MHE.When patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies were analyzed separately,the results showed that age(OR,1.035;95%CI,1.014-1.057;p=0.001)and duration of education(OR,0.924;95%CI,0.883-0.966;p=0.001)were risk factors for MHE among patients with HBV-related cirrhosis,whereas age(OR,1.138;95%CI,1.033-1.254;p=0.009)and creatinine concentration(OR,16.487;95%CI,1.113-244.160;p=0.042)were risk factors for MHE in patients with HCV-related cirrhosis.No risk factors for MHE were found in patients with autoimmune cirrhosis.For patients with alcoholic cirrhosis,the platelet count(OR,1.014;95%CI,1.000-1.027;p=0.045)was a risk factor for MHE.The PHES subtest results were inconsistent among patients who had MHE with cirrhosis of different etiologies.Patients with HBV-related cirrhosis performed better on Number Connection Test B and the serial dotting test than those with alcoholic cirrhosis(p=0.007 and p<0.001),better on Number Connection Test B than those with HCV-related cirrhosis(p=0.020),and better on the line tracing test than those with autoimmune cirrhosis(p=0.037).Conclusion:The etiology of cirrhosis affected the prevalence of MHE and risk factors for MHE.The domains of major cognitive impairment varied among patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies.Further studies are required to verify these findings. | Xiaoyan Li Shanghao Liu Huiling Xiang Qingge Zhang Ying Guo Hongmei Zu Jing Wang Jiaojian Lv Xiaoning Zhang Fanping Meng Jiahuan Li Jie Li Yangzhen Bianba Jia Shang Guo Zhang Fei Liu Zhaowei Tong Chuang Lei Wei Ye Qiaohua Yang Ningning Wang Ying Song Wei Fu Ziyue Li Yanjing Gao Yongping Zhang Jiafang Chen Caiyun Wu Qi Zheng Fang Wang Jiali Yu Lianjie Lin Chuanlong Yang Xiaoting Yang Xiaomin Ye Xiangmei Wang Xuelan Zhao Xiaolong Qi Fusheng Wang Junliang Fu | 2023 | Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,4: | 0 |
| 20 | Fine mapping and cloning of the sterility gene Bra2Ms in nonheading Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp.chinensis)显示文摘The application of a male-sterile line is an ideal approach for hybrid seed production in non-heading Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp.chinensis).However,the molecular mechanisms underlying male sterility in B.rapa are still largely unclear.We previously obtained the natural male sterile line WS24-3 of non-heading Chinese cabbage and located the male sterile locus,Bra2Ms,on the A2 chromosome.Cytological observations revealed that the male sterility of WS24-3 resulted from disruption of the meiosis process during pollen formation.Fine mapping of Bra2Ms delimited the locus within a physical distance of about 129 kb on the A2 chromosome of B.rapa.The Bra039753 gene encodes a plant homeodomain(PHD)-finger protein and is considered a potential candidate gene for Bra2Ms.Bra039753 was significantly downregulated in sterile line WS24-3 compared to the fertile line at the meiotic anther stage.Sequence analysis of Bra039753 identified a 369 bp fragment insertion in the first exon in male sterile plants,which led to an amino acid insertion in the Bra039753 protein.In addition,the 369 bp fragment insertion was found to cosegregate with the male sterility trait.This study identified a novel locus related to male sterility in non-heading Chinese cabbage,and the molecular marker obtained in this study will be beneficial for the marker-assisted selection of excellent sterile lines in non-heading Chinese cabbage and other Brassica crops. | Liping Song Xia Li Liguang Tang Chuying Yu Bincai Wang Changbin Gao Yanfeng Xie Xueli Zhang Junliang Wang Chufa Lin Aihua Wang | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4: | 0 |
