1Constitutive model for methane desorption and diffusion based on pore structure differences between soft and hard coal显示文摘This paper aims to improve the accuracy and applicability of gas diffusion mathematical models from coal particles. Firstly, a new constitutive model for gas diffusion from coal particles with tri-disperse pore structure is constructed by considering the difference in characteristics between soft coal and hard coal.The analytical solution is then derived, that is, the quantitative relationship between gas diffusion rate(Qt/Q_∞) and diffusion time(t), The pore structure parameters of soft coal and hard coal from Juji coal mine are determined. Gas diffusion rules are numerically calculated and investigated by physical simulation methods. Lastly, the applicability of this model is verified. The results show that the homogeneous model only applies to the gas diffusion process of hard coal during the initial 10 min. 2Neogene Paleoseismic Events and the Shanwang Biota's Burial in the Linqu Area,Shandong Province,China显示文摘Several paleoseismic events are recorded in the Neogene Linqu Group, exposed in the Linqu area, Shandong Province, China. The events were interpreted on the basis of fieldwork and laboratory analysis, which showed the presence of seismites with plastically deformed soft-sediment deformation structures in the Shanwang Formation, and of seismic volcanic rocks in the Yaoshan Formation which show brittle deformation. The earthquake-triggered soft-sediment deformations in the seismites include load structures, ball-and-pillow structures, flame structures, pillow-like beds, boudinage structures, slump folds, syn-depositional faults, veins of liquefied sand, and dikes of liquefied sandy lime-mud. The seismic activity is also reflected in what might be called ‘brittle seismites'; these originated when, under the influence of seismic vibrations, semi-consolidated conglomerate was shattered. Moreover, volcanic activity is related to intense earthquakes that affected basalts intercalated with sand layers; these successions are known as ‘seismic volcanic rocks', which are characterized by veins of liquefied sand intruding the basalts. All above traces of paleoseismic activity were left from one single time span of 4 Ma with active seismicity that took place 14–10 Ma. This time span is known as ‘the Linqu Neogene Paleoseismic Active Period', which is divided into four paleoseismic episodes, which were responses to tectonic extension and basin rifting in this area. It even includes the activity of the Yishu Fault Zone during the Miocene and the Neogene. The ratios of trace elements in the seismites, w(La)/w(Sc) and w(La)/w(Th) are higher than the average value of the upper crust, but w(Th)/w(Sc) is lower; this is geochemical evidence for the basin rifting that resulted in a high sedimentation rate. The intense and frequent paleo-earthquakes are held responsible for the rapid burial of the Shanwang Biota. 3Indonesian Throughflow in an eddy-resolving ocean model显示文摘The performance of the eddy-resolving LICOM2.0 in simulating the Indonesian Throughflow has been evaluated against the INSTANT data in the present study.The mean vertical structures of the along strait velocities are simulated well in LICOM2.0,but the large velocities at the bottom of the Lifamatola Passage and the Timor Passage cannot be reproduced by LICOM2.0.The causes are considered to be both the errors in the topography and the tidal mixing at the bottom.Despite several biases in the mean velocities,the mean inflow and outflow volume transports in LICOM2.0 are almost identical to the INSTANT data.Compared with the lower resolution LICOM,the most significant improvement is the better simulation of the partitions of the inflow and outflow transports in individual straits.The outflow for low-resolution LICOM is mainly through the Ombai and Lombok Strait,whereas that for LICOM2.0 is mainly through the Timor Passage.The variability of the vertical structure of velocities and the volume transport are also investigated.LICOM2.0 overestimates the magnitude of the upper-layer currents and the amplitude of the variation.We also found that the largest correlation coefficient occurs in the shallowest strait,the Lombok,whereas the lowest occurs in the Timor Passage,especially in the upper layer.The latter may be caused by the unrealistic transport through the Torres Strait in LICOM2.0.FENG Xue LIU HaiLong WANG FuChang YU YongQiang YUAN DongLiang 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,35:4
4Modeling Method for Assembly Variation Propagation Taking Account of Form Error显示文摘The propagation of variations, such as fixture errors and datum errors resulting from assembly and machining processes, has been extensively studied. However, only a few studies that focus on form error propagation in assembly systems have been implemented. Machining errors, especially form errors, have great impact on assembly accuracy and accuracy stability of precision mechanical systems. With form errors being the research object, a method for calculating mating variation and specifying mating coordinate is proposed to improve the accuracy of the variation propagation model. Taking into account the form error of mating surfaces, the assembly variation propagation of a precision mechanical system is analyzed, and the brief derivation procedure of the variation propagation model is introduced afterwards. The variation propagation model involves a new concept of mating variation specified by the two mating surfaces. An innovative method, the difference surface search based method, is proposed to calculate the mating variation amongst the mating surfaces. The obtained mating variation is then utilized to specify the mating coordinate in the variation propagation model. Moreover, FEM is employed to simulate the contact state of the two mating surfaces to demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed method. Meanwhile, the mating variation and mating coordinate obtained are incorporated into the assembly variation propagation model, which is then verified by a following case study through a comparison between the calculated results and the experimental results. The comparing results indicate that the established model improves the prediction of assembly accuracy. 5Research on Services Modeling in LTE Networks显示文摘Service modeling offers fundamental guidance to the construction and operation of mobile telecommunication networks. As the domestic LTE networks have been deployed massively, the refined LTE services model needs to be established urgently. In this paper, we firstly extract characteristic parameters of services from statistical data in 3G networks, especially in time, space and user dimension. Secondly, the development trends of LTE services are analyzed. And the refined LTE service model is established. 7Estimation of the Dose Rate of Spent Fuel-Related Components of Lingao Nuclear Power Plant Using ORIGEN2 and MCNP5显示文摘The components from spent fuel are discharged from the core and then stored in the framework of the spent fuel pool for cooling. However, it is of great significance to save the storage space of the spent fuel pool by shrinkage and shearing work to increase the spare fuel lattice number. In order to solve the problem of shrinkage and shearing work of spent fuel involving the problem of radioactive safety, the radioactive source item is calculated by ORIGEN2 program base on Unit 1 Ⅱ of Lingao Nuclear Power Plant(NPP), and the radiation dose rate of the related component shrinkage operation scene is simulated by the MCNP5 program. In addition, the effectiveness of shielding measures is discussed, and the maximum dose rate is within 0.35 μSv/h at the distance of 2.5 m from component center, and the maximum dose rate is almost 0 at the distance of 3.2 m from the component center. The intensity of the radiation dose produced by the related components is very low and can be neglected, which belong to the green area of NPP. The program calculation system from source term calculation to shielding calculation is established, and an engineering example is referenced, and its application and analysis are carried out. 18Upper tail probabilities of integrated Brownian motions显示文摘We obtain new upper tail probabilities of m-times integrated Brownian motions under the uniform norm and the Lp norm. For the uniform norm, Talagrand's approach is used, while for the Lp norm, Zolotare's approach together with suitable metric entropy and the associated small ball probabilities are used. This proposed method leads to an interesting and concrete connection between small ball probabilities and upper tail probabilities(large ball probabilities) for general Gaussian random variables in Banach spaces.
