4Effect of High Electric Field on Lifetime Performance of Metalized Film Capacitor in Pulsed-power Applications显示文摘High energy density capacitor is a key device to power supply source for electromagnetic gun (EMG) system, and extending its lifetime is important for increasing the reliability of the power source. Working in high electric field could affect the capacitor lifetime, and this effect on metallized polypropylene film capacitors (MPPFCs) in pulsed-power applications is studied and presented. Experimental re- sults show that the lifetime of MPPFCs decreases with the increasing peak value of charged electric field, and this decrease could be described by function (L/L0) ∝ (E/E0)–m, where, m=7.32. The lifetime of MPPFCs also decreases with the increase of the reversal coeffi- cients in underdamped circuits, which could be described by (L/L0) ∝ (ln(1/K0)/(ln(1/K))–b, where, b=0.7. 11Blockchain-based vehicular edge computing networks:the communication perspective显示文摘Vehicular edge computing(VEC)networks can satisfy the increasing demands of data processing by offloading the computation tasks to multiple distributed edge computing nodes assisted by servers.These edge servers generally combine with roadside units(RSUs).However,RSUs with edge servers cannot be fully trusted,possibly leading to serious security and privacy problems.Combining blockchain with VEC networks may establish a trusted and decentralized vehicular environment,but the coexistence of multiple communication modes comprising vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V),vehicle-to-RSU(V2R),and RSU-to-RSU(R2R)makes the block propagation patterns have different effects on the block consensus process.In this paper,we study the block propagation patterns between vehicles and RSUs with edge servers under three communication modes.We first give the closed-form expressions for the single-block and multiblock propagation times in two specific conditions to explore how the priority of a block generated from a specific node affects the block propagation process,in which multiblock propagation embodies competitive propagation due to blockchain forking.Then,an innovative consensus mechanism that fully invokes the communication capability of the nodes is proposed,and the block propagation time and frequency can be substantially reduced under this mechanism.In addition,an important finding is that under the conventional and proposed consensus mechanisms,an RSU or a vehicle that creates a new block plays a decisive role in the block propagation pattern.Lin HE Fuchang LI Haikun XU Wenbo XIA Xuefei ZHANG Xiaofeng TAO 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,7:1

20Reliability criterion of film capacitor based on moisture diffusion in encapsulation显示文摘The current reliability criterion(RC)of the film capacitor(FC)is usually a fixed value,which does not consider the staged capacitance loss caused by moisture diffusion under high temperature and/or high humidity.The expected lifetime of capacitors would deviate far from the actual one.The moisture diffusion process of the encapsulated FC is ana-lysed based on Fick's second law.In order to investigate the capacitance loss and moisture diffusion characteristics,4 types of film capacitors are stressed with AC voltage under different temperatures and humidities.Based on the staged analysis of the capacitance and weight gain curves,the effect of moisture diffusion on capacitance loss is revealed.Results indicate that the linear stage of capacitance loss corresponds to the Fickian moisture diffusion stage of weight gain.The effect of voltage on FC aging is the most significant.The capacitance loss rate increases by 301%when the voltage rises by 30%.An RC calculation method of the FC is further proposed,which could also screen the encap-sulation quality and shorten the aging test duration by at least 80%.Zheng Li Hua Li Tian Qiu Fuchang Lin Yucheng Wang 2023High Voltage2023,8,6:1
