| 1 | Efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients with rheumatoid arthritis:a multi-center parallel-group double-blind randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients suffering rheumatoid arthritis(RA).METHODS:A multi-center parallel-group designed,double-blind,randomized,controlled trial was conducted.Totally 304 RA patients were assigned to two groups:one group was administered Xinfeng capsule(XFC) plus the placebo of leflunomide and the other given leflunomide(LEF) plus the placebo of XFC for twelve weeks.The clinical and laboratory parameters were compared at baseline and fourth,eighth,and twelfth weeks.RESULTS:After twelve-week treatment,patients in two groups all showed some trend of effectiveness when compared in terms of American Rheumatism Association(ACR) recommended 20%,50%,70%improvement criteria,but it was insignificant.The validity in ameliorate modified disease activity score(DAS28) and laboratory indexes as erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),rheumatoid factor(RF) were also found no difference.The score of health assessment questionnaire(HAQ),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS) and quality of life questionnaire with rheumatoid arthritis(RAQOL)both lower than the first week and the changes showed no difference.However,the score of SDS dropped more in XFC group than in the other.A total of 147 adverse reaction cases were reported,which shows no difference between the two groups.The most common adverse reactions were hepatic impairment,anemia,leukocytopenia,epigastric discomfort and phalacrosis.CONCLUSION:XFC demonstrated better improvement in the scores of SDS and compared with those of LEF group. | Liu Jian Wang Yuan Huang Chuanbing Xu Jianhua Li Zhijun Xu Liang He Liyun Sun Yue Wang Yali Xu Shengqian Zhao Ping Mao Tongjun Tan Bin Zhu Fubing Zhang Pingheng Fang Li | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015，35，5： | 27 |

| 3 | Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders: executive summary and 2019 update of clinical management of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis显示文摘Aim Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)is a less common cerebrovascular disease that predominantly affects young patients.The incidence of CVST is 2-5/10000000/year,accounting for 0.5%-1%of all stroke.To reduce mortality and morbidity associated with CVST,Chinese Stroke Association commissioned the authors to write the current guideline on the management of CVST.Methods PubMed(MEDLINE),CNKI and Wanfang database were searched for studies related to CVST from 1 January 1990 to 31 July 2019.Data were synthesised by evidence tables.Each recommendation was fully discussed by the writing group members and reviewed by Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Fellow Committees.Levels of evidence grading algorithm of Chinese Stroke Association was used to grade each recommendation.results This guideline mainly focuses on the diagnostic evaluation,therapeutic strategies and secondary prevention of CVST.CT/CTV and MRI/MRV are recommended in the initial imaging evaluation of patients with suspected CVST.Anticoagulation therapy with low-molecular weight heparin should be initiated in patients with CVST immediately.After the acute stage,warfarin is recommended for 3-6 months to prevent the recurrence of CVST and other venous thromboembolic events.Conclusions The guideline summarises the current evidence regarding the management of CVST,and provides references for diagnosis,treatment and secondary prevention of CVST in China. | Yuhua Fan Jian Yu Hongbing Chen Jian Zhang Jiangang Duan Dapeng Mo Wenhao Zhu Bo Wang Fubing Ouyang Yicong Chen Linfang Lan Jinsheng Zeng Chinese Stroke Association Stroke Council CVST Guideline Writing Committee | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020，5，2： | 14 |

| 5 | Liposomes for systematic delivery of vancomycin hydrochloride to decrease nephrotoxicity:Characterization and evaluation显示文摘Vancomycin hydrochloride(VANH),the first glycopeptide antibiotic,is a water-soluble drug for the treatment of acute osteomyelitis.Liposomal formulations of VANH have already been manipulated and characterized,which was a mean of increasing their therapeutic index,reducing their toxicity and altering drug biodistribution.One of the challenges for preparing VANH-Lips is their low encapsulation efficiency(EE).In the present study,we aim to improve the liposomal formulation of VANH for higher EE,longer systemic circulation,reduced nephrotoxicity and enhanced antimicrobial activities.Vancomycin hydrochloride-loaded liposomes(VANH-Lips)were formulated by the method of modified reverse phase evaporation.Based on the optimization of formulation with orthogonal experimental design,the average drug encapsulation efficiency and the mean particle size of VANH-Lips were found to be 40.78±2.56%and 188.4±2.77 nm.In vitro drug release of VANH-Lips possessed a sustained release characteristic and their release behavior was in accordance with the Weibull equation.After intravenous injection to mice,the mean residence time(MRT)of VANH-Lips group was significantly prolonged in vivo and the AUC value was improved as well compared with the vancomycin hydrochloride solution(VANH-Sol)group.Furthermore,the biodistribution results in mice showed that VANH-Lips decreased the accumulation of VANH in kidney after intravenous injection.In conclusion,VANH-Lips may be a potential delivery system for VANH to decrease nephrotoxicity in the treatment of osteomyelitis. | Junli Liu Zhonglan Wang Fubing Li Jinhua Gao Longmei Wang Guihua Huang | 2015 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2015，10，3： | 4 |

| 7 | Serum ficolin-2 concentrations are significantly changed in patients with hepatitis B virus infection and liver diseases显示文摘Human ficolin-2 is an important lectin complement pathway activator that is secreted from liver cells and has been implicated as an anti-infection innate immune molecule. However, the role of ficolin-2 protein and its dynamic changes over the course of and in the prognosis of chronic hepatitis B(CHB) and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) remain unclear. In this study, we analyzed ficolin-2 protein expression in a cohort of individuals with CHB infection, HCC and cirrhosis. A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method was used to measure serum ficolin-2 concentrations. Ficolin-2 expression in liver tissues was detected by immunohistochemical staining. Serum ficolin-2 concentrations in CHB patients were significantly higher than in healthy controls and HBV carriers. After 48 weeks of routine amelioration liver function treatment, serum ficolin-2 concentrations decreased and were positively correlated with favorable alanine aminotransferase(ALT), HBV DNA and HBe Ag-seroconversion outcomes. Interestingly, we observed much lower expression of serum and intrahepatic ficolin-2 in HCC and cirrhosis compared with healthy controls.
