| 1 | Advances in research on the carrot,an important root vegetable in the Apiaceae family显示文摘Carrots(Daucus carota L.),among the most important root vegetables in the Apiaceae family,are cultivated worldwide.The storage root is widely utilized due to its richness in carotenoids,anthocyanins,dietary fiber,vitamins and other nutrients.Carrot extracts,which serve as sources of antioxidants,have important functions in preventing many diseases.The biosynthesis,metabolism,and medicinal properties of carotenoids in carrots have been widely studied.Research on hormone regulation in the growth and development of carrots has also been widely performed.Recently,with the development of high-throughput sequencing technology,many efficient tools have been adopted in carrot research.A large amount of sequence data has been produced and applied to improve carrot breeding.A genome editing system based on CRISPR/Cas9 was also constructed for carrot research.In this review,we will briefly summarize the origins,genetic breeding,resistance breeding,genome editing,omics research,hormone regulation,and nutritional composition of carrots.Perspectives about future research work on carrots are also briefly provided. | Feng Que Xi-Lin Hou Guang-Long Wang Zhi-Sheng Xu Guo-Fei Tan Tong Li Ya-Hui Wang Ahmed Khadr Ai-Sheng Xiong | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 11 |
| 2 | Delivery room resuscitation and short-term outcomes of extremely preterm and extremely low birth weight infants: a multicenter survey in North China显示文摘Background:Delivery room resuscitation assists preterm infants,especially extremely preterm infants(EPI)and extremely low birth weight infants(ELBWI),in breathing support,while it potentially exerts a negative impact on the lungs and outcomes of preterm infants.This study aimed to assess delivery room resuscitation and discharge outcomes of EPI and ELBWI in China.Methods:The clinical data of EPI(gestational age[GA]<28 weeks)and ELBWI(birth weight[BW]<1000 g),admitted within 72 h of birth in 33 neonatal intensive care units from five provinces and cities in North China between 2017 and 2018,were analyzed.The primary outcomes were delivery room resuscitation and risk factors for delivery room intubation(DRI).The secondary outcomes were survival rates,incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD),and risk factors for BPD.Results:A cohort of 952 preterm infants were enrolled.The incidence of DRI,chest compressions,and administration of epinephrine was 55.9%(532/952),12.5%(119/952),and 7.0%(67/952),respectively.Multivariate analysis revealed that the risk factors for DRI were GA<28 weeks(odds ratio[OR],3.147;95%confidence interval[CI],2.082–4.755),BW<1000 g(OR,2.240;95%CI,1.606–3.125),and antepartum infection(OR,1.429;95%CI,1.044–1.956).The survival rate was 65.9%(627/952)and was dependent on GA.The rate of BPD was 29.3%(181/627).Multivariate analysis showed that the risk factors for BPD were male(OR,1.603;95% CI,1.061–2.424),DRI(OR,2.094;95% CI,1.328–3.303),respiratory distress syndrome exposed to≥2 doses of pulmonary surfactants(PS;OR,2.700;95%CI,1.679–4.343),and mechanical ventilation≥7 days(OR,4.358;95% CI,2.777–6.837).However,a larger BW(OR,0.998;95% CI,0.996–0.999),antenatal steroid(OR,0.577;95%CI,0.379–0.880),and PS use in the delivery room(OR,0.273;95%CI,0.160–0.467)were preventive factors for BPD(all P<0.05).Conclusion:Improving delivery room resuscitation and management of respiratory complications are imperative during early management of the health of EPI and ELBWI. | Shuai-Jun Li Qi Feng Xiu-Ying Tian Ying Zhou Yong Ji Yue-Mei Li Shu-Fen Zhai Wei Guo Fang Zhang Rong-Xiu Zheng Hai-Ying He Xia Liu Jun-Yi Wang Hua Mei Hong-Yun Wang Hua Xie Chao-Mei Zeng Li Ma Ping-Ping Zhang Jin-Yu Li Xiao-Ying Wang Li-Hua Li Hong Cui Shu-Lan Yang Lu Chen Xiao-Hong Gu Yan-Ju Hu Sheng-Shun Que Li-Xia Sun Ming Yang Wen-Li Zhao Qiu-Yan Ma Hai-Juan Wang Jiu-Ye Guo | 2021 | Chinese Medical Journal2021,,13: | 7 |
| 3 | Morphological characteristics, anatomical structure, and gene expression: novel insights into gibberellin biosynthesis and perception during carrot growth and development显示文摘Gibberellins(GAs)are considered potentially important regulators of cell elongation and expansion in plants.Carrot undergoes significant alteration in organ size during its growth and development.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying gibberellin accumulation and perception during carrot growth and development remain unclear.In this study,five stages of carrot growth and development were investigated using morphological and anatomical structural techniques.Gibberellin levels in leaf,petiole,and taproot tissues were also investigated for all five stages.Gibberellin levels in the roots initially increased and then decreased,but these levels were lower than those in the petioles and leaves.Genes involved in gibberellin biosynthesis and signaling were identified from the carrotDB,and their expression was analyzed.All of the genes were evidently responsive to carrot growth and development,and some of them showed tissue-specific expression.The results suggested that gibberellin level may play a vital role in carrot elongation and expansion.The relative transcription levels of gibberellin pathway-related genes may be the main cause of the different bioactive GAs levels,thus exerting influences on gibberellin perception and signals.Carrot growth and development may be regulated by modification of the genes involved in gibberellin biosynthesis,catabolism,and perception. | Guang-Long Wang Fei Xiong Feng Que Zhi-Sheng Xu Feng Wang Ai-Sheng Xiong | 2015 | Horticulture Research2015,2,1: | 6 |
| 4 | 中国1960-2016年风能资源的时空分布特征显示文摘基于462个气象观测站1960–2016年共57年的近地面风速日资料,利用克里格空间内插,最小二乘法,相关系数检验和经验正交函数分解(EOF)等方法分析了年均和各个季节中国区域风速及有效风能密度的时空变化特征。研究结果表明:在中国北部和部分沿海地区年平均风速在3 m s-1以上,有效风能密度在75 W m-2以上,而在中国南部地区平均风速和有效风能密度均较小。近五十多年以来,中国区域年均和季节平均风速呈明显下降趋势,北部地区春季递减率最大,沿海地区冬季递减率最大。广东部分地区年平均风速有增大的趋势,西南,华南和华中西部地区年平均风速变化不大。平均风速大的区域,递减率也大。年平均风速和年有效风能密度的主要空间分布模态表现出高度的一致性,均呈现逐年减小趋势。中国风速及风能资源的减小趋势,主要与全球变暖及土地利用变化有关。 | FENG Yucheng QUE Linjing FENG Jinming | 2020 | Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters2020,13,2: | 5 |
| 5 | Controllable synthesis of nanorod/nanodisk TiO_2 from titanium-containing electric furnace molten slag显示文摘Nanostructured TiO2 with different morphologies and crystal phases was successfully synthesized from titanium-containing electric furnace molten slag by using a hydrothermal method followed by reflux process in acid solution. The effects of acid concentration, reflux time, and acid type on the formation of TiO2 were systematically investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction(XRD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),and X-ray fluorescence(XRF). It is indicated that TiO2 nanorod with rutile phase is achieved in nitric or hydrochloric acid, while anatase TiO2 nanodisk is formed in sulfuric acid.With the increase of the concentration of hydrochloric acid from 0.3 to 1.5 mol L-1, the dispersibility and crystallinity of the final product can be improved. With prolonging the reflux time from 6 to 14 h, the rutile TiO2 nanorod with uniform crystal size and high crystallinity is obtained. | 13 | Understanding Li roles in chemical reversibility of O2-type Li-rich layered cathode materials显示文摘Traditional O3-type Li-rich layered materials are attractive with ultra-high specific capacities,but suffering from inherent problems of voltage hysteresis and poor cycle performance.As an alternative,O2-type materials show the potential to improve the oxygen redox reversibility and structural stability.However,their structure-performance relationship is still unclear.Here,we investigate the correlation between the Li component and dynamic chemical reversibility of O2-type Li-rich materials.By exploring the formation mechanism of a series of materials prepared by Na/Li exchange,we reveal that insufficient Li leads to an incomplete replacement,and the residual Na in the Li-layer would hinder the fast diffusion of Li^(+).Moreover,excessive Li induces the extraction of interlayer Li during the melting chemical reaction stage,resulting in a reduction in the valence of Mn,which leads to a severe Jahn-Teller effect.Structural detection confirms that the regulation of Li can improve the cycle stability of Li-rich materials and suppress the trend of voltage fading.The reversible phase evolution observed in in-situ X-ray diffraction confirms the excellent structural stability of the optimized material,which is conducive to capacity retention.This work highlights the significance of modulating dynamic electrochemical performance through the intrinsic structure. | Jie Feng Yun-Shan Jiang Fu-Da Yu Wang Ke Lan-Fang Que Jenq-Gong Duh Zhen-Bo Wang | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3: | 1 |
