Preparation and visible-light photocatalytic property of nanostructured Fe-doped TiO_2 from titanium containing electric furnace molten slag显示文摘Nanostructured Fe-doped titanium dioxide was synthesized from titanium containing electric furnace molten slag(TCEFMS)by using an alkali fusion, followed by a hydrolyzation-acidolysis-calcination route. The efects of alkali/slag mass ratio, calcinating temperature, calcinating time, and water/slag mass ratio on the extraction efciency and purity of products were systematically studied in this paper. It is indicated that the best extraction efciency of nanostructured Fedoped titanium dioxide is 99.35%,when the molten slag is calcinated at 700 C for 1 h with the mass ratio of alkali/molten slag of 1.5:1.The influence of alkali/slag mass ratio on the photocatalytic activity of final products was evaluated by the photodegradation of methyl blue under visible light irradiation.A maximum photodegradation efciency of 88.12%over30 min was achieved under the optimum conditions. | Yang Li Yi Yue Zai-qing Que Mei Zhang Min Guo | 2013 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2013,20,10: | 10
Variation of the East Asian Monsoon and the tropospheric biennial oscillation显示文摘Study of the tropospheric biennial oscillation (TBO) has attracted significant interest since the 1980s.However,the mechanism that drives this process is still unclear. In the present study,ECMWF daily data were applied to evaluate variation of the East Asian monsoon and its relationship to the TBO.First, the general East Asian monsoon index (EAMI) was delineated on the basis of a selected area using the 850 hPa u and v components. This new index may describe not only the characteristics of summer monsoons, but also the features of winter monsoons, which is crucial to understand the transition process between summer and winter monsoons. The following analysis of EAMI shows that there is a close relationship between summer and winter monsoons. In general, strong East Asian winter monsoons are followed by strong East Asian summer monsoons, and weak winter monsoons lead to weak summer monsoons. While strong (weak) summer monsoons followed by weak (strong) winter monsoons form a kind of 2-year cycle, which may be the possible mechanism leading to the TBO over the East Asian region. | LI ChongYin PAN Jing QUE ZhiPing | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,1: | 8
Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure, which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians, medical residents, nurses, technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis. Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems. Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians, medical residents, nurses, technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety, insomnia and overall psychological problems. In addition, attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic, receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work, and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems. Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems. The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback. | Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu | 2020 | General Psychiatry2020,33,3: | 8
Gangba sheep in the Tibetan plateau:Validating their unique meat quality and grazing factor analysis显示文摘Gangba sheep are known for having typical sensory characteristics attributed to free range conditions and grazing on wild plants. The genuine Gangba mutton was selected as the experimental group, and the commercial Tibetan mutton was selected as the control group, the nutritive composition of basic chemical components, amino acids and fatty acids in mutton were investigated to correlate its unique meat quality and eating satisfaction. The results showed that fatty acids were significantly higher(P<0.05)in Gangba mutton than in commercial mutton, and the higher content of flavoring amino acids(glutamic acid and aspartame)were primarily responsible for the taste attributes umami of meat juices. Moreover, the trace elements analysis in mutton and grazing factors(forage, water source and soil)were conducted,to explain the source of essential trace elements in mutton. The concentrations of essential trace elements show that the Gangba mutton was a valuable source for highly available Cu and Zn in human nutrition, and well managed with few detected of toxicity metal. The concentrations of essential trace elements in mutton are closely related to the trace elements in environmental grazing factors. In conclusion, the congenital grazing conditions(a highly mineralized water resource, natural forages and clean soils)were shown to contribute to the unique meat characteristics of Gangba sheep. | Qiangying Zhang Ming Que Wei Li Shuang Gao Xin Tan Duo Bu | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3: | 8
Delivery room resuscitation and short-term outcomes of extremely preterm and extremely low birth weight infants: a multicenter survey in North China显示文摘Background:Delivery room resuscitation assists preterm infants, especially extremely preterm infants(EPI)and extremely low birth weight infants(ELBWI),in breathing support, while it potentially exerts a negative impact on the lungs and outcomes of preterm infants. This study aimed to assess delivery room resuscitation and discharge outcomes of EPI and ELBWI in China. Methods:The clinical data of EPI(gestational age[GA]<28 weeks)and ELBWI(birth weight[BW]<1000 g),admitted within 72 h of birth in 33 neonatal intensive care units from five provinces and cities in North China between 2017 and 2018,were analyzed. The primary outcomes were delivery room resuscitation and risk factors for delivery room intubation(DRI).The secondary outcomes were survival rates, incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD),and risk factors for BPD.Results:A cohort of 952 preterm infants were enrolled. The incidence of DRI,chest compressions, and administration of epinephrine was 55.9%(532/952),12.5%(119/952),and 7.0%(67/952),respectively.Multivariate analysis revealed that the risk factors for DRI were GA<28 weeks(odds ratio[OR],3.147;95%confidence interval[CI],2.082–4.755),BW<1000 g(OR,2.240;95%CI,1.606–3.125),and antepartum infection(OR,1.429;95%CI,1.044–1.956).The survival rate was 65.9%(627/952)and was dependent on GA.The rate of BPD was 29.3%(181/627).Multivariate analysis showed that the risk factors for BPD were male(OR,1.603;95% CI,1.061–2.424),DRI(OR,2.094;95% CI,1.328–3.303),respiratory distress syndrome exposed to≥2 doses of pulmonary surfactants(PS;OR,2.700;95%CI,1.679–4.343),and mechanical ventilation≥7 days(OR,4.358;95% CI,2.777–6.837).However,a larger BW(OR,0.998;95% CI,0.996–0.999),antenatal steroid(OR,0.577;95%CI,0.379–0.880),and PS use in the delivery room(OR,0.273;95%CI,0.160–0.467)were preventive factors for BPD(all P<0.05).Conclusion:Improving delivery room resuscitation and management of respiratory complications are imperative during early management of the health of EPI and ELBWI. | Shuai-Jun Li Qi Feng Xiu-Ying Tian Ying Zhou Yong Ji Yue-Mei Li Shu-Fen Zhai Wei Guo Fang Zhang Rong-Xiu Zheng Hai-Ying He Xia Liu Jun-Yi Wang Hua Mei Hong-Yun Wang Hua Xie Chao-Mei Zeng Li Ma Ping-Ping Zhang Jin-Yu Li Xiao-Ying Wang Li-Hua Li Hong Cui Shu-Lan Yang Lu Chen Xiao-Hong Gu Yan-Ju Hu Sheng-Shun Que Li-Xia Sun Ming Yang Wen-Li Zhao Qiu-Yan Ma Hai-Juan Wang Jiu-Ye Guo | 2021 | Chinese Medical Journal2021,,13: | 7
Dephosphorylation of cardiomyocyte Cx43 is associated with myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury显示文摘Objective:Myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R) injury is the leading cause of death in the world. However, the details of the mechanism of its pathophysiology are still unknown. The present study was designed to investigate the role of connexin 43(Cx43) in acute models of myocardial I/R injury. Methods:Male C57BL/6 mice were subjected to myocardial ischemia(45 min) followed by reperfusion(4 hrs) in vivo. The whole operation was monitored using a two-lead ECG. Hearts were harvested and the level of protein was assessed by western blot analysis. Haematoxylin and Eosin(HE) staining was used to detect the extent of neutrophil infiltration. The expression level of IL-6 was detected by ELISA. Results:A murine myocardial I/R injury model was constructed successfully. Phosphorylated Cx43 decreased 83. 45% while non-phosphorylated Cx43 increased 1.62-fold in the myocardium after I/R injury. Neutrophil infiltration and the expression of the inflammatory cytokine IL-6 increased in the myocardium following I/R. Conclusion:During myocardial I/R injury, cardiomyocyte Cx43 is dephosphorylated, and this may be associated with an inflammatory response. | Zhijuan Cao Xuan Xu Linli Que Qi Chen Yuehua Li | 2009 | Journal of Nanjing Medical University2009,23,3: | 6
Feiji Recipe inhibits the growth of lung cancer by modulating T-cell immunity through indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase pathway in an orthotopic implantation model显示文摘Objective: Escape from the body's immune response is a basic characteristic of lung cancer, and indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase(IDO) plays a key role in mediating immune escape of non-small-cell lung cancer, which leads to recurrence and metastasis. Feiji Recipe, a compound Chinese herbal medicine, has the effect of stabilizing lesions and prolonging survival in patients with lung cancer. The purpose of this study was to investigate the mechanisms underlying the anticancer properties of Feiji Recipe. Methods: An orthotopic transplant model of mouse Lewis lung cancer, with stable expression of IDO gene, was established in C57 BL/6 mice. Optical imaging was used to observe the effects of Feiji Recipe in the treatment of lung cancer in vivo. The effects of Feiji Recipe on the proliferation of mouse Lewis lung cancer cell line 2 LL, 2 LL-enhanced green fluorescent protein(2 LL-EGFP) and 2 LL-EGFP-IDO were investigated, and the apoptosis of T-cells was examined by 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2 H-tetra zolium bromide using flow cytometry. Chemical composition of Feiji Recipe was validated by highperformance liquid chromatography. Results: Compared to the control group, the survival of animals treated with Feiji Recipe was significantly prolonged(P = 0.0074), and the IDO protein level decreased(P = 0.0072); moreover, the percentages of CD4+CD25+T-cells and Foxp3+T-cells were significantly decreased(P < 0.05). The molecular mechanism of Feiji Recipe against lung cancer may relate to the regulation of immune cells, such as T-cells and regulatory T-cells.Conclusion: The molecular mechanism of Feiji Recipe in treatment of lung cancer is to restore the function of T-cells in the cancer microenvironment through interfering with the IDO pathway. | Bin Luo Zu-jun Que Zhi-yi Zhou Qing Wang Chang-sheng Dong Yi Jiang Bing Hu Hui Shi Yu Jin Jian-wen Liu He-gen Li Lin Wang Jian-hui Tian | 2018 | Journal of Integrative Medicine2018,16,4: | 5

Neurological complications and infection mechanism of SARS-CoV-2显示文摘Currently,SARS-CoV-2 has caused a global pandemic and threatened many lives.Although SARS-CoV-2 mainly causes respiratory diseases, growing data indicate that SARS-CoV-2 can also invade the central nervous system(CNS)and peripheral nervous system(PNS)causing multiple neurological diseases, such as encephalitis,encephalopathy,Guillain-Barrésyndrome,meningitis,and skeletal muscular symptoms.Despite the increasing incidences of clinical neurological complications of SARS-CoV-2,the precise neuroinvasion mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 have not been fully established. In this review,we primarily describe the clinical neurological complications associated with SARS-CoV-2 and discuss the potential mechanisms through which SARS-CoV-2 invades the brain based on the current evidence. Finally,we summarize the experimental models were used to study SARS-CoV-2 neuroinvasion. These data form the basis for studies on the significance of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the brain. | Dandan Wan Tingfu Du Weiqi Hong Li Chen Haiying Que Shuaiyao Lu Xiaozhong Peng | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12: | 4
Application of preoperative artificial neural network based on blood biomarkers and clinicopathological parameters for predicting longterm survival of patients with gastric cancer显示文摘BACKGROUND Because of the powerful abilities of self-learning and handling complex biological information, artificial neural network(ANN)models have been widely applied to disease diagnosis, imaging analysis, and prognosis prediction. However, there has been no trained preoperative ANN(preope-ANN)model to preoperatively predict the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer(GC).AIM To establish a neural network model that can predict long-term survival of GC patients before surgery to evaluate the tumor condition before the operation.METHODS The clinicopathological data of 1608 GC patients treated from January 2011 to April 2015 at the Department of Gastric Surgery,Fujian Medical University Union Hospital were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were randomly divided into a training set(70%)for establishing a preope-ANN model and a testing set(30%).The prognostic evaluation ability of the preope-ANN model was compared with that of the American Joint Commission on Cancer(8th edition)clinical TNM(cTNM)and pathological TNM(pTNM)staging through the receiver operating characteristic curve,Akaike information criterion index,Harrell's C index, and likelihood ratio chi-square.RESULTS We used the variables that were statistically significant factors for the 3-year overall survival as input-layer variables to develop a preope-ANN in the training set.The survival curves within each score of the preope-ANN had good discrimination(P<0.05).Comparing the preope-ANN model,cTNM,and pTNM in both the training and testing sets, the preope-ANN model was superior to cTNM in predictive discrimination(C index),predictive homogeneity(likelihood ratio chi-square),and prediction accuracy(area under the curve). The prediction efficiency of the preope-ANN model is similar to that of pTNM.CONCLUSION The preope-ANN model can accurately predict the long-term survival of GC patients, and its predictive efficiency is not inferior to that of pTNM stage. | Si-Jin Que Qi-Yue Chen Qing-Zhong Zhi-Yu Liu Jia-Bin Wang Jian-Xian Lin Jun Lu Long-Long Cao Mi Lin Ru-Hong Tu Ze-Ning Huang Ju-Li Lin Hua-Long Zheng Ping Li Chao-Hui Zheng Chang-Ming Huang Jian-Wei Xie | 2019 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,43: | 4
A Teosinte-derived Allele of a MYB Transcription Repressor Confers Multiple Disease Resistance in Maize.显示文摘Natural alleles controlling multiple disease resistances (MDR) are valuable for crop breeding. However, only one MDR gene have been cloned in maize, and molecular mechanisms of MDR are not clear. By map-based cloning, we have cloned a teosinte-derived allele of a resistance gene, Mexicana lesion mimic 1 (ZmMM1), which has a lesion mimic phenotype and confers resistance to northern leaf blight (NLB), gray leaf spot (GLS) and southern corn rust (SCR). Strong MDR conferred by the teosinte allele is linked with the polymorphisms in the 3' untranslated region of the ZmMM1 gene that cause increased accumulation of ZmMM1 protein. ZmMM1 acts as a transcription repressor and negatively regulates transcription of specific target genes including ZmMM1-target gene 3 (ZmMT3), which functions as a negative regulator of plant immunity and associated cell death. The successful isolation of the ZmMM1 resistance gene will help not only in developing broad-spectrum and durable disease resistance but also in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying MDR. | Hongze Wang Jiabao Hou Pei Ye Long Hu Junshi Huang Zhikang Dai Bao Zhang Sha Dai Jiamin Que Haoxuan Min Gengshen Chen Yanbo Wang Min Jiang Yan Liang Lin Li Xuecai Zhang Zhibing Lai | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,11: | 4
Herbal formula of Bushen Jianpi(补肾健脾方)combined with sorafenib inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma growth by promoting cell apoptosis and blocking the cell cycle显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of an herbal formula of Bushen Jianpi(补肾健脾方,BSJP)combined with sorafenib on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)in vitro and in vivo, and to study the underlying mechanisms of action.METHODS:BSJP,a mixture of 12 raw herbs, was extracted in 70%alcohol/30%water and freeze-dried into a powder. The in vitro effects of BSJP alone, sorafenib alone, and their combination on cell survival, apoptosis, and cell cycle distribution were evaluated in HCC cell lines HCCLM3,HepG2,and SMMC-7721.The expression of B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),caspase-3,and caspase-9 in HCCLM3 cells was measured using Western blots after drug administration. The in vivo effects of BSJP and sorafenib were evaluated in a tumor surgical resection model using 4-week old male athymic BALB/c nude mice injected with HCCLM3 cells.Immunohistochemical analysis of tumor tissues was performed to evaluate the effects of BSJP alone, sorafenib alone, and their combination on the expression of caspase-3,caspase-9,and Bcl-2.RESULTS:BSJP decreased the survival rate of HCC cell lines, and the combination of BSJP and sorafenib further decreased the survival rate.BSJP significantly promoted cell apoptosis and blocked cell-cycle progression in HCCLM3,HepG2,and SMMC-7721 cells in a dose-dependent manner.Furthermore, the administration of BSJP and sorafenib inhibited the growth of HCCLM3 cell xenografts in nude mice, with no reduction in body weight. In vivo and in vitro experiments showed that BSJP combined with sorafenib could significantly decrease the expression of Bcl-2.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that the herbal formula of BSJP is a potential HCC antitumor agent. | ZHOU Zhangjie LIU Xinhua WU Tingting QUE Zujue WU Zhonghua WU Weizhong FU Shujuan ZHANG Shiqiang YANG Yun JIANG Haiyan XIA Xiaoting LV Junqiang DU Boqian LI Yun LU Tao ZHANG Zhihui ZHONG Yi | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,2: | 3

Controllable synthesis of nanorod/nanodisk TiO_2 from titanium-containing electric furnace molten slag显示文摘Nanostructured TiO2 with different morphologies and crystal phases was successfully synthesized from titanium-containing electric furnace molten slag by using a hydrothermal method followed by reflux process in acid solution. The effects of acid concentration, reflux time, and acid type on the formation of TiO2 were systematically investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction(XRD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),and X-ray fluorescence(XRF). It is indicated that TiO2 nanorod with rutile phase is achieved in nitric or hydrochloric acid, while anatase TiO2 nanodisk is formed in sulfuric acid. With the increase of the concentration of hydrochloric acid from 0.3 to 1.5 mol L-1, the dispersibility and crystallinity of the final product can be improved. With prolonging the reflux time from 6 to 14 h, the rutile TiO2 nanorod with uniform crystal size and high crystallinity is obtained. The growth mechanism of TiO2 nanorod and nanodisk prepared under different conditions was also discussed. | Zai-Qing Que Yang Li Hai-Yang Yu Feng Zheng Mei Zhang Min Guo | 2015 | Rare Metals2015,34,4: | 2
Clear mortality gap caused by graft macrosteatosis in Chinese patients after cadaveric liver transplantation显示文摘Background:Liver transplantation(LT)is one of the most effective surgical treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease.Steatosis is a contributor for inferior graft quality. But its impact and safety on transplantation was less assessed in Chinese patients. Methods:Graft steatosis and related information involved in recipients, donors and surgical procedures were retrospectively collected from 239 patients. Results:Donor macrosteatosis(MaS)caused about 2.14 and 2.80 folds of increment on patient and graft mortality.Dose-response analysis revealed prominent risk of grafts on overall patient/organ mortality when MaS content exceeded 10%(P<0.05).Noteworthy,deaths were only observed in MaS group when concurrent with extremely higher post-transplant alanine aminotransferase(ALT,64%).However,microsteatosis(MiS)grafts didn’t affect outcomes after LT.In a cohort of Chinese patients,MaS had comprehensive effects on post-transplant outcomes with relatively lower safety threshold at 10%.Mortality gap caused by MaS grafts was observed in patients with severer ischemia reperfusion injury. Conclusions:Our study revealled the graft MaS affected the post-transplant outcomes in lower risk cutoff in Chinese patients.Further study is worthy to validate these results and investigate inner mechanism under the phenomenon. | Zhengtao Liu Wenchao Wang Li Zhuang Jingfeng Liu Shuping Que Dan Zhu Linfang Dong Jian Yu Lin Zhou Shusen Zheng | 2020 | Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2020,9,6: | 2
Short-term efficacy of robotic and laparoscopic spleen-preserving splenic hilar lymphadenectomy via Huang’s three-step maneuver for advanced upper gastric cancer: Results from a propensity scorematched study显示文摘BACKGROUND Robotic surgery has been considered to be significantly better than laparoscopic surgery for complicated procedures.AIM To explore the short-term effect of robotic and laparoscopic spleen-preserving splenic hilar lymphadenectomy(SPSHL)for advanced gastric cancer(GC)by Huang’s three-step maneuver.METHODS A total of 643 patients who underwent SPSHL were recruited from April 2012 to July 2017,including 35 patients who underwent robotic SPSHL(RSPSHL)and 608 who underwent laparoscopic SPSHL(LSPSHL).One-to-four propensity score matching was used to analyze the differences in clinical data between patients who underwent robotic SPSHL and those who underwent laparoscopic SPSHL.RESULTS In all,175 patients were matched, including 35 patients who underwent RSPSHL and 140 who underwent LSPSHL.After matching, there were no significant differences detected in the baseline characteristics between the two groups.Significant differences in total operative time, estimated blood loss(EBL),splenic hilar blood loss(SHBL),splenic hilar dissection time(SHDT),and splenic trunk dissection time were evident between these groups(P<0.05).Furthermore,no significant differences were observed between the two groups in the overall noncompliance rate of lymph node(LN)dissection(62.9%vs 60%,P=0.757),number of retrieved No.10 LNs(3.1±1.4 vs 3.3±2.5,P=0.650),total number of examined LNs(37.8±13.1 vs 40.6±13.6,P=0.274),and postoperative complications(14.3%vs 17.9%,P=0.616).A stratified analysis that divided the patients receiving RSPSHL into an early group(EG)and a late group(LG)revealed that the LG experienced obvious improvements in SHDT and length of stay compared with the EG(P<0.05).Logistic regression showed that robotic surgery was a significantly protective factor against both SHBL and SHDT(P<0.05).CONCLUSION RSPSHL is safe and feasible, especially after overcoming the early learning curve,as this procedure results in a radical curative effect equivalent to that of LSPSHL. | Jia-Bin Wang Zhi-Yu Liu Qi-Yue Chen Qing Zhong Jian-Wei Xie Jian-Xian Lin Jun Lu Long-Long Cao Mi Lin Ru-Hong Tu Ze-Ning Huang Ju-Li Lin Hua-Long Zheng Si-Jin Que Chao-Hui Zheng Chang-Ming Huang Ping Li | 2019 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,37: | 2
