| 1 | Association between Helicobacter spp.infections and hepatobiliary malignancies:A review显示文摘Hepatobiliary cancers are highly lethal cancers that comprise a spectrum of invasive carcinomas originating in the liver hepatocellular carcinoma,the bile ducts intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and extrahepaticcholangiocarcinoma,the gallbladder and the ampulla of Vater(collectively known as biliary tract cancers).These tumors account for approximately 13% of all annual cancer-related deaths worldwide and for 10%-20% of deaths from hepatobiliary malignancies.Cholangiocarcinoma(CCA) is a devastating disease that displays a poor survival rate for which few therapeutic options are available.Population genetics,geographical and environmental factors,cholelithiasis,obesity,parity,and endemic infection with liver flukes have been identified as risk factors that influence the development of biliary tract tumors.Other important factors affecting the carcinogenesis of these tumors include chronic inflammation,obstruction of the bile ducts,and impaired bile flow.It has been suggested that CCA is caused by infection with Helicobacter species,such as Helicobacter bilis and Helicobacter hepaticus,in a manner that is similar to the reported role of Helicobacter pylori in distal gastric cancer.Due to the difficulty in culturing these Helicobacter species,molecular methods,such as polymerase chain reaction and sequencing,or immunologic assays have become the methods of choice for diagnosis.However,clinical studies of benign or malignant biliary tract diseases revealed remarkable variability in the methods and the findings,and the use of uniform and validated techniques is needed. | Fany Karina Segura-López Alfredo Güitrón-Cantú Javier Torres | 2015 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2015，21，5： | 9 |

| 3 | LeCDJ1,a chloroplast DnaJ protein,facilitates heat tolerance in transgenic tomatoes显示文摘The roles of a tomato(Lycopersicon esculentum) chloroplast-targeted DnaJ protein(LeCDJ1) were investigated using wild-type(WT) and sense transgenic tomatoes. The LeCDJ1 expression was upregulated by 38 °C, 42 °C, 45 °C, NaCl, PEG, methyl viologen(MV) and hydrogen peroxide(H2 O2), but not by 30 °C and 35 °C. Meanwhile, LeCDJ1 was involved in the response of plants to abscisic acid(ABA). Under heat stress, the sense plants showed better growth, higher chlorophyll content, lower malondialdehyde(MDA) accumulation and relative electrical conductivity(REC), and also less PSII photoinhibition than WT. Interestingly, the sense plants treated with streptomycin(SM), an inhibitor of organellar translation, still showed higher maximum photochemistry efficiency of PSII(Fv/Fm) and D1 protein levels than the SM-untreated WT, suggesting that the protective effect of LeCDJ1 on PSII was, at least partially, independent of D1protein synthesis. Furthermore, the relatively lower superoxide radical(O2·-) and H2 O2 levels in the sense plants were considered to be due to the higher ascorbate peroxidase(APX) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity, which seemed unlikely dependent on their transcription level. | 5 | Acupuncture effects on the hippocampal cholinergic system in a rat model of neuropathic pain显示文摘The present study observed the effects of repeated electroacupuncture of Zusanli (ST36) and Yanglingquan (GB34) on expression of hippocampal acetylcholinesterase, vesicular acetylcholine transporter, and muscarinic M1 receptor mRNA in chronic constrictive injury (neuropathic pain) and/or ovariotomy rats. Results demonstrated increased expression of hippocampal acetylcholinesterase, vesicular acetylcholine transporter, and muscarinic M1 receptor mRNA, as well as decreased pain threshold, in a rat model of chronic neuropathic pain after electroacupuncture. The effects of electroacupuncture increased with prolonged time, but the above-mentioned effects decreased in memory-deficient animals. | 7 | Review of state-of-the-art decision support systems (DSSs) for prevention and suppression of forest fires显示文摘Forest ecosystems are our priceless natural resource and are a key component of the global carbon budget. Forest fires can be a hazard to the viability and sustainable management of forests with consequences for natural and cultural environments, economies, and the life quality of local and regional populations. Thus, the selection of strategies to manage forest fires, while considering both functional and economic efficiency, is of primary importance. The use of decision support systems(DSSs) by managers of forest fires has rapidly increased. This has strengthened capacity to prevent and suppress forest fires while protecting human lives and property. DSSs are a tool that can benefit incident management and decision making and policy, especially for emergencies such as natural disasters. | 8 | Solitary fibrous tumor of the pancreas:Case report and review of the literature显示文摘Solitary fibrous tumor(SFT) is a mesenchymal tumor typically located in the pleura,but can also be found as an asymptomatic mass in other areas,including the liver,peritoneum,kidney and salivary glands.However,SFT rarely locates in the pancreas.We present such a case of pancreatic SFT,along with a review of all reported cases.A 55-year-old man was treated surgically for an asymptomatic pancreatic mass after a rigorous preoperative control.Histologic examination of the resected specimen showed characteristics of an SFT.As only 15 cases of pancreatic SFT have been reported so far,an attempt to compare the cases was considered intriguing.We found that patients with pancreatic SFT were mainly women(81.25%),with a median age of 54 years at the time of diagnosis and a median tumor size of 5.83 cm.Pancreatic SFTs were revealed incidentally in 50% of cases,and all of them showed an enhancement through arterial computed tomography.All tumors were positive for CD34,ten were positive for Bcl-2,and twelve were negative for S100.The diagnosis of this pancreatic tumor is established by a combination of clinical suspicion,imaging procedures and histological findings,and is confirmed by immunohistochemical staining.Although the behavior of SFTs is rather benign,close clinical follow-up is recommended due to a potentially malignant nature. | Daniel Paramythiotis Konstantinia Kofina Petros Bangeas Fani Tsiompanou Georgia Karayannopoulou George Basdanis | 2016 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2016，8，6： | 3 |

| 12 | Comparison of multichannel intraluminal impedance-pH monitoring and reflux scintigraphy in pediatric patients with suspected gastroesophageal reflux显示文摘AIM To evaluate the agreement of multichannel intraluminal impedance-p H monitoring(MII-p HM) and gastroesophageal reflux scintigraphy(GES) for the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease. METHODS Seventy-five consecutive patients with suspectedgastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) underwent 24-h combined MII-p HM recording and one hour radionuclide scintigraphy during the course of the MIIpH M study. Catheters with 6 impedance channels and 1 p H sensor were placed transnasally. Impedance and p H data analysis were performed automatically and manually. For impedance monitoring, reflux was defined as a retrograde 50% drop in impedance, starting distally and propagating retrogradely to at least the next two more proximal measuring channels. Reflux index(RI, percentage of the entire record that esophageal p H is < 4.0) greater than 4.2% for p HM and number of refluxes more than 50 for 24 h for MII were accepted as positive test results. At scintigraphy, 240 frames of 15 seconds duration were acquired in the supine position. Gastroesophageal reflux was defined as at least one reflux episode in the esophagus. After scintigraphic evaluation, impedance-pH recordings and scintigraphic images were evaluated together and agreement between tests were evaluated with Cohen's kappa.RESULTS Sufficient data was obtained from 60(80%) patients(34 male, 56.7%) with a mean age of 8.7 ± 3.7 years(range: 2.5-17.3 years; median: 8.5 years). Chronic cough, nausea, regurgitation and vomiting were the most frequent symptoms. The mean time for recording of MII-pH M was 22.8 ± 2.4 h(range: 16-30 h; median: 22.7 h). At least one test was positive in 57(95%) patients. According to diagnostic criteria, GERD was diagnosed in 34(57.7%), 44(73.3%), 47(78.3%) and 51(85%) patients by means of p HM, MII, GES and MII-p HM, respectively. The observed percentage agreements/κ values for GES and p HM, GES and MII, GES and MII-p HM, and MII and p HM are 48.3%/-0.118; 61.7%/-0.042; 73.3%/0.116 and 60%/0.147, respectively. There was no or slight agreement between GES and p HM alone, MII alone or MII-p HM. p H monitoring alone missed 17 patients compared to combined MII-p HM.
