1Germafluorene conjugated copolymer——synthesis and applications in blue-light-emitting diodes and host materials显示文摘A germafluorene-fluorene copolymer was successfully obtained via Suzuki polymerization.The ger-manium containing copolymer has an efficient blue light emission under the ultraviolet irradiation and its single layer EL device showed the highest brightness of 2630 cd/m2 at 7.8 V and the highest effi-ciency of 0.301 lm/W at 6.2 V.The copolymer can also serve as the host material for phosphorescent metal complexes with the maximum brightness of 15600 cd/m2 and the quantum efficiency of 8.5%.The results are quite promising and promise that as its analogs of fluorene and silafluorene,germafluorene is an excellent building block for blue light-emitting polymers and host materials.CHEN RunFeng ZHU Rui ZHENG Chao LIU ShuJuan FAN QuLi HUANG Wei 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,2:12
2Carbon-nitrogen/graphene composite as metal-free electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Sheet-like carbon-nitrogen (CNx)/graphene composites with a high content of nitrogen (x≤0.15) was prepared by the carbonization of polypyrrole (PPy)/reduced-graphene-oxide (rGO) composite at 600-800°C. We used rGO instead of graphene oxide (GO) sheets as a template and a substrate to immobilize PPy since the PPy/GO composite agglomerates easily because of the dehydration of excess oxygen-containing groups on the GO sheets during the drying process. The dried PPy/rGO intermediate and its derived CNx/graphene products retain their high dispersion and loose-powder features. The as-prepared CNx/graphene composites have a total nitrogen content of about 10 at% and their nitrogen state is mainly of pyridinic and graphitic type. 3Star-shaped conjugated oligoelectrolyte for bioimaging in living cells显示文摘A new star-shaped oligoelectrolyte (TEFCOONa) with triphenylamine as the core, acetylene as linkage and anionic fluorenes as arms was obtained and used for direct imaging in living PANC-1 cells. Because of the hydrophobic conjugated groups of the oli-goelectrolyte, TEFCOONa can form nanospheres with an average diameter of^75 nm in 10 mmol/L PBS. These nanospheres possess a relatively high absolute quantum yield (16.5% in PBS), low cytotoxicity and can penetrate into the nucleus through the cytoplasm, which is essential for living cellular imaging. 4Nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube/polyaniline composite:Synthesis, characterization, and its application to the detection of dopamine显示文摘Nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes (N-CNTs)/polyaniline (PANI) composites are developed as an electrode material for biosensors. The morphology, composition, and optical properties of the resulting products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra (UV-vis). Furthermore, N-CNTs/PANI composite was immobilized on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and applied to construct a sensor. The obtained N-CNTs/PANI-modified GCE showed one pair of redox peaks and high catalytic activity for the oxidation of dopamine (DA) in a neutral environment. Differential pulse voltam-mograms results illustrate that the fabricated DA biosensor has high anti-interference ability towards ascorbic acid (AA). 5Water-soluble light-emitting nanoparticles prepared by non-covalent bond self-assembly of a hydroxyl group functionalized oligo(p-phenyleneethynylene) with different water-soluble polymers显示文摘Water-soluble light-emitting nanoparticles were prepared from hydroxyl group functionalized oligos(p-phenyleneethynylene) (OHOPEL) and water-soluble polymers(PEG,PAA,and PG) by non-covalent bond self-assembly.Their structure and optoelectronic properties were investigated through dynamic light scattering(DLS) ,UV and PL spectroscopy.The optical properties of OHOPEL-based water-soluble nanoparticles exhibited the same properties as that found in OHOPEL films,indicating the existence of interchain-aggregation of OHOPELs in the nanoparticles.OHOPEL-based nanoparticles prepared from conjugated oligomers show smaller size and lower dispersity than nanoparticles from conjugated polymers,which means that the structures of water-soluble nanoparticles are linked to the conjugated length.Furthermore,the OHOPEL/PG and OHOPEL/PAA systems produced smaller particles and lower polydispersity than the OHOPEL/PEG system,indicating that there may exist influence of the strength of non-covalent bonds on the size and degree of dispersity of the nanoparticles.Lu XiaoMei Fan QuLi Zhang GuangWei Pu KanYi Huang Wei 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,5:3
6Synthesis,characterization and applications of vinylsilafluorene copolymers:New host materials for electroluminescent devices显示文摘Vinylsilafluorene(VSiF) was successfully synthesized and copolymerized with vinylcarbazole and methyl methacrylate via free radical copolymerization for the first time.The synthesis,photophysical properties,computational modeling studies,and organic light-emitting devices of the VSiF copolymers were presented.The good coordinated photoluminescent(PL) spectra with the absorption of blue light-emitting materials and the high energy band-gap of the VSiF copolymers were observed.Higher triplet band gap(3Eg) to host the blue phosphorescent emitters and better HOMO and LUMO than PVK for electron and hole injection and transportation of the VSiF model compounds were revealed by density functional theory(DFT) calculations.The preliminary device results in applications of these copolymers as host materials for green phosphorescent emitters demonstrate the copolymers of VSiF and vinylcarbazole have comparable device performance of polyvinylcarazole(PVK),suggesting a bright future of VSiF as building blocks for host materials.CHEN RunFeng,ZHU Rui,ZHENG Chao,FAN QuLi & HUANG Wei* Key Laboratory for Organic Electronics & Information Displays(KLOEID) Institute of Advanced Materials(IAM),Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications(NUPT),Nanjing 210046,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,11:2

9Near-Infrared-Excitable Organic Ultralong Phosphorescence through Multiphoton Absorption显示文摘Organic ultralong room-temperature phosphorescence(OURTP)with a long-lived triplet excited state up to several seconds has triggered widespread research interests,but most OURTP materials are excited by only ultraviolet(UV)or blue light owing to their unique stabilized triplet-and solid-state emission feature.Here,we demonstrate that near-infrared-(NIR-)excitable OURTP molecules can be rationally designed by implanting intra/intermolecular charge transfer(CT)characteristics into Haggregation to stimulate the efficient nonlinear multiphoton absorption(MPA).The resultant upconverted MPA-OURTP show ultralong lifetimes over 0.42 s and a phosphorescence quantum yield of~37%under both UV and NIR light irradiation.Empowered by the extraordinary MPA-OURTP,novel applications including two-photon bioimaging,visual laser power detection and excitation,and lifetime multiplexing encryption devices were successfully realized.These discoveries illustrate not only a delicate design map for the construction of NIR-excitable OURTP materials but also insightful guidance for exploring OURTP-based nonlinear optoelectronic properties and applications.Ye Tao Lele Tang Qi Wei Jibiao Jin Wenbo Hu Runfeng Chen Qingqing Yang Huanhuan Li Ping Li Guichuan Xing Quli Fan Chao Zheng Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:1

15Highly selective detection of copper(Ⅱ) by a “ligand-free” conjugated copolymer in nucleophilic solvents显示文摘The synthesis of N-cyclohexyl carbamate-attached fluorene-alt-phenylene copolymer(PFPNCC)and the use of PFPNCC as a“ligand-free”fluorescent chemosensor for Cu(Ⅱ)are described.Addition of Cu(Ⅱ)can efficiently quench the fluorescence of PFPNCC in nucleophilic solvents such as DMF and DMSO,but not in low nucleophilic solvents such as 1,4-dioxane and THF.Ultraviolet-visible spectra of the mixture of the conjugated polymer and Cu(Ⅱ)indicate the presence of a reduced Cu(Ⅰ)ion in the solution.Furthermore,fluorescence recovery of PFPNCC observed at low temperature suggests that the quenching and reducing mechanism is most probably due to a photo-induced electron transfer from excited PFPNCC to Cu(Ⅱ).Our findings provide a novel strategy for highly selective conjugated polymer-based chemosensors for various target analytes,albeit“ligand-free”.Weixing Deng Pengfei Sun Quli Fan Lei Zhang Tsuyoshi Minami 2020Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,1:1

18Rare-earth Doped Nanoparticles with Narrow NIR-II Emission for Optical Imaging with Reduced Autofluorescence显示文摘Fluorescence imaging in the second near-infrared region(900―1700 nm, NIR-II) with a high resolution and penetration depth due to the significantly reduced tissue scattering and autofluorescence has emerged as a useful tool in biomedical fields. Recently, many efforts have been devoted to the development of fluorophores with an emission band covering the long-wavelength end of NIR-II region(1500―1700 nm) to eliminate the autofluorescence. Alternatively, we believe imaging with a narrow bandwidth could also reduce the autofluorescence. As a proof of concept, NaYF4:Yb,Nd@NaYF4 downconversion nanoparticles(DCNPs) with sharp NIR-II emission were synthesized. The luminescence of DCNPs showed a half-peak width of 49 nm centered at 998 nm, which was perfectly matched with a (1000±25) nm bandpass filter. With this filter, we were able to retain most of the emissions from the nanoparticles, while the autofluorescence was largely reduced. After PEGylation, the DCNPs exhibited great performance for blood vessel and tumor imaging in living mice with significantly reduced autofluorescence and interference signals. 20Intelligent polymeric hydrogen sulfide delivery systems for therapeutic applications显示文摘Hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)plays an important role in regulating various pathological processes such as protecting mammalian cell from harmful injuries,promoting tissue regeneration,and regulating the process of various diseases caused by physiological disorders.Studies have revealed that the physiological effects of H_(2)S are highly associated with its concentrations.At relatively low concentration,H_(2)S shows beneficial functions.However,long-time and high-dose donation of H_(2)S would inhibit regular biological process,resulting in cell dysfunction and apoptosis.To regulate the dosage of H_(2)S delivery for precision medicine,H_(2)S delivery systems with intelligent characteristics were developed and a variety of biocompatibility polymers have been utilized to establish intelligent polymeric H_(2)S delivery systems,with the abilities to specifically target the lesions,smartly respond to pathological microenvironments,as well as real-timely monitor H_(2)S delivery and lesion conditions by incorporating imaging-capable moieties.In this review,we focus on the design,preparation,and therapeutic applications of intelligent polymeric H_(2)S delivery systems in cardiovascular therapy,inflammatory therapy,tissue regenerative therapy,cancer therapy and bacteria-associated therapy.Strategies for precise H_(2)S therapies especially imaging-guided H_(2)S theranostics are highlighted.Since H_(2)S donors with stimuli-responsive characters are vital components for establishing intelligent H_(2)S delivery systems,the development of H_(2)S donors is also briefly introduced.Fan Rong Tengjiao Wang Qian Zhou Haowei Peng Jingtian Yang Quli Fan Peng Li 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,1:0
