1乳腺癌患者术后淋巴水肿与其相关症状的关系研究显示文摘目的调查乳腺癌患者术后不同程度淋巴水肿发生状况及其相关症状情况,分析两者之间的关系。方法采用便利抽样及目的抽样方法,选择乳腺癌行腋窝淋巴结清扫术后患者224例,采用肢体周径测量法判断淋巴水肿严重程度,采用乳腺癌淋巴水肿症状体验指数(Breast Cancer and Lymphedema Symptom Experience Index,BCLE-SEI)评估患者淋巴水肿相关症状体验。结果 224例患者中,无水肿94例(42.0%),轻度水肿46例(20.5%),重度水肿84例(37.5%)。轻度淋巴水肿患者的症状个数、症状严重程度及症状困扰总分高于无淋巴水肿患者(P=0.007);重度淋巴水肿患者的症状个数、症状严重程度及症状困扰总分高于轻度淋巴水肿患者(P=0.017)。轻度水肿患者的上肢肿胀、患肢沉重、患肢疲乏、患肢紧绷、患肢僵硬、手臂受限、肘部受限、手腕受限的发生率高于无水肿患者。结论淋巴水肿早期就出现相应症状,且症状体验随着水肿加重而越发严重。关注患肢肿胀、患肢沉重等淋巴液积聚症状,可早期发现淋巴水肿并给予早期干预,阻止或延缓水肿程度的进展。刘飞 路潜 欧阳倩 刘超 吕静 王影新 Fu R Mei 2016中华护理杂志2016,51,5:95

4Breast cancer-related lymphedema: Symptoms, diagnosis, risk reduction, and management显示文摘The global burden of breast cancer continues to increase largely because of the aging and growth of the world population. More than 1.38 million women worldwide were estimated to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, accounting for 23% of all diagnosed cancers in women. Given that the 5-year survival rate for breast cancer is now 90%, experiencing breast cancer is ultimately about quality of life. Women treated for breast cancer are facing a life-time risk of developing lymphedema, a chronic condition that occurs in up to 40% of this population and negatively affects breast cancer survivors' quality of life. This review offers an insightful understanding of the condition by providing clinically relevant and evidence based knowledge regarding lymphedema symptoms, diagnosis, risk reduction, and management with the intent to inform health care professionals so that they might be better equipped to care for patients.Mei R Fu 2014World Journal of Clinical Oncology2014,5,3:15

6Transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs)in lineage commitment and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are ubiquitously-existing multipotent progenitors that can self-renew and differentiate into multiple lineages including osteocytes,chondrocytes,adipocytes,tenocytes and myocytes.MSCs represent one of the most commonly-used adult progenitors and serve as excellent progenitor cell models for investigating lineagespecific differentiation regulated by various cellular signaling pathways,such as bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs).As members of TGFb superfamily,BMPs play diverse and important roles in development and adult tissues.At least 14 BMPs have been identified in mammals.Different BMPs exert distinct but overlapping biological functions.Through a comprehensive analysis of 14 BMPs in MSCs,we demonstrated that BMP9 is one of the most potent BMPs in inducing osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.Nonetheless,a global mechanistic view of BMP signaling in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of MSCs remains to be fully elucidated.Here,we conducted a comprehensive transcriptomic profiling in the MSCs stimulated by 14 types of BMPs.Hierarchical clustering analysis classifies 14 BMPs into three subclusters:an osteo/chondrogenic/adipogenic cluster,a tenogenic cluster,and BMP3 cluster.We also demonstrate that six BMPs(e.g.,BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,BMP8,and BMP9)can induce ISmads effectively,while BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,and BMP11 up-regulate Smad-independent MAP kinase pathway.Furthermore,we show that many BMPs can upregulate the expression of the signal mediators of Wnt,Notch and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways.While the reported transcriptomic changes need to be further validated,our expression profiling represents the first-of-its-kind to interrogate a comprehensive transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of BMPs in MSCs.Linghuan Zhang Qing Luo Yi Shu Zongyue Zeng Bo Huang Yixiao Feng Bo Zhang Xi Wang Yan Lei Zhenyu Ye Ling Zhao Daigui Cao Lijuan Yang Xian Chen Bin Liu William Wagstaff Russell R*Reid Hue H*Luu Rex C*Haydon Michael J*Lee Jennifer Moriatis Wolf Zhou Fu Tong-Chuan He Quan Kang 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,3:11

8头颈癌手术患者住院期间体质量减轻对术后一个月功能的预测研究显示文摘目的 探究头颈癌手术患者住院期间体质量减轻对其术后1个月功能的预测作用.方法 运用一般资料问卷、欧洲癌症研究和治疗组织生命质量核心量表功能子量表对2017年8-11月四川大学华西医院耳鼻咽喉-头颈外科符合纳入、排除标准的122例头颈癌患者在住院期间、术后1个月进行问卷调查.结果 头颈癌患者术后1个月功能得分为86.67(73.33,93.33)~100.00 (100.00,100.00)分,其中躯体功能得分较低;住院期间体质量减轻的患者术后1个月躯体功能、角色功能、社会功能得分较低(P<0.05);年龄(OR=6.262,P<0.05)、住院期间体质量减轻(OR=4.363, P<0.05)是头颈癌患者术后1个月躯体功能的危险因素,住院期间体质量(OR=3.306,P<0.05)是头颈癌患者术后1个月社会功能的危险因素.结论 头颈癌手术患者住院期间体质量减轻能够预测术后1个月功能的下降.临床医护人员应当重视头颈癌患者尤其是老年患者的围手术期营养问题,采取有效干预措施控制住院期间体质量,改善患者术后功能与生命质量.胡紫宜 冯先琼 Mei R Fu 余蓉 赵会玲 2019中国实用护理杂志2019,35,35:4
9Neonatal vitamin A injection promotes cattle muscle growth and increases oxidative muscle fibers显示文摘Background: Vitamin A and its metabolite,retinoic acid(RA),are important regulators of cell differentiation and organ morphogenesis.Its impact on beef cattle muscle growth remains undefined.Method: Angus steer calves were administrated with 0(control) or 150,000 IU vitamin A(retinyl palmitate in glycerol,i.m.) per calf at birth and 1 month of age.At 2 months of age,a biopsy of the Biceps femoris muscle was obtained to analyze the immediate effects of vitamin A injection on myogenic capacity of muscle cells.The resulting steers were harvested at 14 months of age.Results: Vitamin A administration increased cattle growth at 2 months.At 2 months of age,Vitamin A increased PAX7 positive satellite cells and the expression of myogenic marker genes including PAX7,MYF5,MYOD and MYOG.Muscle derived mononuclear cells were further isolated and induced myogenesis in vitro.More myotubes and a higher degree of myogenesis was observed in vitamin A groups.Consistently,vitamin A increased Latissimus dorsi(LD) muscle fiber size at harvest.In addition,vitamin A increased the ratio of oxidative type I and type IIA fibers and reduced the glycolic type IIX fibers.Furthermore,we found that RA,a key bioactive metabolite of vitamin A,activated PPARGC1 A promoter,which explains the upregulated expression of PPARGC1 A in skeletal muscle.Conclusion: Vitamin A administration to neonatal calves enhanced postnatal muscle growth by promoting myogenesis and increasing satellite cell density,accompanied with a shift to oxidative muscle fibers.Bo Wang Wei Nie Xing Fu Jeanene M de Avila Yannan Ma Mei-Jun Zhu Martin Maquivar Steven M Parish Jan R Busboom Mark L Nelson Min Du 2019Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2019,10,1:3
10Type 3 innate lymphoid cell-derived lymphotoxin prevents microbiota-dependent inflammation显示文摘Splenomegaly is a well-known phenomenon typically associated with inflammation.However,the underlying cause of this phenotype has not been well characterized.Furthermore,the splenomegaly phenotype seen in lymphotoxin(LT)signaling-deficient mice is characterized by increased numbers of splenocytes and splenic neutrophils.Splenomegaly,as well as the related phenotype of increased lymphocyte counts in non-lymphoid tissues,is thought to result from the absence of secondary lymphoid tissues in LT-deficient mice.We now present evidence that mice deficient in LTα1β2 or LTβR develop splenomegaly and increased numbers of lymphocytes in non-lymphoid tissues in a microbiota-dependent manner.Antibiotic administration to LTα1β2-or LTβR-deficient mice reduces splenomegaly.Furthermore,re-derived germ-free Ltbr−/−mice do not exhibit splenomegaly or increased inflammation in non-lymphoid tissues compared to specific pathogen-free Ltbr−/−mice.By using various LTβ-and LTβR-conditional knockout mice,we demonstrate that retinoic acid-related orphan receptorγT-positive type 3 innate lymphoid cells provide the required active LT signaling to prevent the development of splenomegaly.Thus,this study demonstrates the importance of LT-mediated immune responses for the prevention of splenomegaly and systemic inflammation induced by microbiota.Yuan Zhang Tae-Jin Kim Joanna A Wroblewska Vera Tesic Vaibhav Upadhyay Ralph R Weichselbaum Alexei V Tumanov Hong Tang Xiaohuan Guo Haidong Tang Yang-Xin Fu 2018Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,7:3
11Evolving Neural Network Using Variable String Genetic Algorithm for Color Infrared Aerial Image Classification显示文摘Coastal wetlands are characterized by complex patterns both in their geomorphic and ecological features. Besides field observations, it is necessary to analyze the land cover of wetlands through the color infrared (CIR) aerial photography or remote sensing image. In this paper, we designed an evolving neural network classifier using variable string genetic algorithm (VGA) for the land cover classification of CIR aerial image. With the VGA, the classifier that we designed is able to evolve automatically the appropriate number of hidden nodes for modeling the neural network topology optimally and to find a near-optimal set of connection weights globally. Then, with backpropagation algo-rithm (BP), it can find the best connection weights. The VGA-BP classifier, which is derived from hybrid algorithms mentioned above, is demonstrated on CIR images classification effectively.
