| 1 | Arrhythmogenic ventricular cardiomyopathy:A paradigm shift from right to biventricular disease显示文摘Arrhythmogenic ventricular cardiomyopathy(AVC) isgenerally referred to as arrhythmogenic right ventricu-lar(RV) cardiomyopathy/dysplasia and constitutesan inherited cardiomyopathy.Affected patients maysuccumb to sudden cardiac death(SCD),ventriculartachyarrhythmias(VTA) and heart failure.Geneticstudies have identified causative mutations in genesencoding proteins of the intercalated disk that lead toreduced myocardial electro-mechanical stability.Theterm arrhythmogenic RV cardiomyopathy is somewhatmisleading as biventricular involvement or isolated leftventricular(LV) involvement may be present and thus abroader term such as AVC should be preferred.The di-agnosis is established on a point score basis accordingto the revised 2010 task force criteria utilizing imagingmodalities,demonstrating fibrous replacement throughbiopsy,electrocardiographic abnormalities,ventricu-lar arrhythmias and a positive family history includingidentification of genetic mutations.Although severarisk factors for SCD such as previous cardiac arrest,syncope,documented VTA,severe RV/LV dysfunctionand young age at manifestation have been identified,risk stratification still needs improvement,especially inasymptomatic family members.Particularly,the roleof genetic testing and environmental factors has to befurther elucidated.Therapeutic interventions include re-striction from physical exercise,beta-blockers,sotalol,amiodarone,implantable cardioverter-defibrillators andcatheter ablation.Life-long follow-up is warranted insymptomatic patients,but also asymptomatic carriersof pathogenic mutations. | Ardan M Saguner Corinna Brunckhorst Firat Duru | 2014 | World Journal of Cardiology2014，6，4： | 10 |
| 2 | Relationship between intestinal microbiota and colorectal cancer显示文摘The human gastrointestinal tract hosts a complexand vast microbial community with up to 1011-1012 microorganisms colonizing the colon. The gut microbiota has a serious effect on homeostasis and pathogenesis through a number of mechanisms. In recent years, the relationship between the intestinal microbiota and sporadic colorectal cancer has attracted much scientific interest. Mechanisms underlying colonic carcinogenesis include the conversion of procarcinogenic diet-related factors to carcinogens and the stimulation of procarcinogenic signaling pathways in luminal epithelial cells. Understanding each of these mechanisms will facilitate future studies, leading to the development of novel strategies for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of colorectal cancer. | 3 | Evaluation of peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer, macula and ganglion cell thickness in amblyopia using spectral optical coherence tomography显示文摘AIM:To investigate peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL), macula and ganglion cell layer thicknesses (GCC) in amblyopic eyes with spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). METHODS:Thirty six patients with a history of unilateral amblyopia and thirty two children who had emmetropia without amblyopia were included in this study. In this institutional study, 36 eyes of 36 patients with amblyopia (AE), 36 fellow eyes without amblyopia (FE), and 32 eyes of 32 normal subjects (NE) were included. RNFL, GCC and macular thickness measurements were performed with RS-3000 OCT Retina Scan (Nidek Inc CA. USA). RESULTS:The mean global thicknesses of the RNFL were 113.22 ±21.47, 111.57 ±18.25, 109.96 ±11.31μm in the AE, FE, and NE, respectively. There was no statistically significant difference for mean global RNFL thickness among the eyes (P =0.13). The mean thicknesses of the macula were 258.25±18.31, 258.75±19.54, 248.62±10.57μm in the AE, FE and NE, respectively. There was no statistically significant difference for thickness of macula among the eyes (P =0.06). The GCC was investigated into two parts:superior and inferior. The mean thicknesses of superior GCC were 102.57 ±13.32, 103.32 ±10.64, 100.52 ± 5.88μm in the AE, FE, and NE, respectively. The mean thicknesses of inferior GCC were 103.82 ±12.60, 107.82 ± 12.33, 105.86±10.79μm in the AE, FE and NE, respectively. There was no statistically significant difference for thickness of superior and inferior GCC between the eyes (P =0.63, P =0.46). ·CONCLUSION:The macular thicknesses of AE and FE were greater than the NE, although it was not statistically significant. | 4 | Detection of class 1 integron in Acinetobacter baumannii isolates collected from nine hospitals in Turkey显示文摘Objective:To investigate the antibiotic resistance genes inserted into class I and class 2integrons in Acinetobacler baumannii[A.baumannii)isolates obtained from nine different cities in Turkey.Methods:A collection of 281 A.baumannii clinical isolates were collected from nine diferenl state hospitals in Turkey and were confirmed as A.baumannU by conventional biochemical,API testing and bla_(-OXA-51)specific PCR.The isolates were examined by PCR for existence of class I and2 integron gene cassettes.Results:They were characterized by antimicrobial susceptibility testing and the highest resistance rates were determined for piperacillin(90.03%),ciprofloxacin(87.54%),cefepime and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole(81.13%).The lowest resistance rates was for cefotaxime(3.55%).class 1 integrons were detected in 6.4%(18/281)of A.baumannii strains and no class 2 integron was detected.The gene casselles of class 1 inlegrons AacCI-AAC(3)l-aadAI,AacCI-aadA1,AAC(3)-I,AAC(3)-I-AAC(3)-I-aadA1,TEM-1.AAC(3)-I-aadA1-AAC(3)-I-AAC(3)-I,AAC(3)-I-AAC(3)-I-AAC(3)-I-aadA1,AAC(3)-I-aadA1,AAC(3)-I-AAC(3)-I,AAC(3)-I-aadA1-AAC(3)-I-aadA1,AAC(3)-I-AAC(3)-I-aadA1-AAC(3)-I-aadA1 were detected in eighteen strains.The aac genes family were most frequently found integrated into the class 1 inlegrons and it was followed by aadA genes and TEM-1 genes.Conclusions:This is an extensive study on the distribulion of class 1 integron among A.baumannii in Turkey.In addition to these,two new alleles were observed.Their percentage rates of similarity to other cassettes are 95%aadA1(TK A18)and 89%,aadA 1(ANKA3). | Aysegül Copur Cicek Azer Ozad Düzgün Aysegül Saral Tuba Kayman Zeynep Cizmeci Pervin Ozlem Balci Tuba Dal Mehmet Firat Ismail Tosun Yasemin Ay Alitntop Ahmet Caliskan Yelda Yazici Cemal Sandalli | 2013 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2013，3，9： | 3 |

| 6 | A review on the gun barrel vibrations and control for a main battle tank显示文摘Achieving high hitting accuracy for a main battle tank is challenging while the tank is on the move. This can be reached by proper design of a weapon control and gun system. In order to design an effective gun system while the tank is moving, better understanding of the dynamic behavior of the gun system is required. In this study, the dynamic behaviour of a gun system is discussed in this respect. Both experimental and numerical applications for the determination of the dynamic behaviour of a tank gun system are investigated. Methods such as the use of muzzle reference system(MRS) and vibration absorbers, and active vibration control technology for the control and the reduction of the muzzle tip deflections are also reviewed.
