| 2 | UAV navigation in high dynamic environments:A deep reinforcement learning approach显示文摘Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) navigation is aimed at guiding a UAV to the desired destinations along a collision-free and efficient path without human interventions, and it plays a crucial role in autonomous missions in harsh environments. The recently emerging Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL) methods have shown promise for addressing the UAV navigation problem,but most of these methods cannot converge due to the massive amounts of interactive data when a UAV is navigating in high dynamic environments, where there are numerous obstacles moving fast.In this work, we propose an improved DRL-based method to tackle these fundamental limitations.To be specific, we develop a distributed DRL framework to decompose the UAV navigation task into two simpler sub-tasks, each of which is solved through the designed Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM) based DRL network by using only part of the interactive data. Furthermore, a clipped DRL loss function is proposed to closely stack the two sub-solutions into one integral for the UAV navigation problem. | 4 | Lipid analysis of three special nervonic acid resources in China显示文摘Nervonic acid plays an important role in nutrition and function of the human body.Malania oleifera,Acer truncatum and Xanthoceras sorbifolium are China’s unique woody plant rich in nervonic acid in seed oil.This study aims to investigate the lipid composition of these 3 special resources.Their fatty acids were detected by gas chromatography coupled with flame detector(GC-FID).Triglycerides(TAGs)and phospholipids(PLs)were detected by shotgun-mass spectrometry(shotgun-MS).Results showed that M.oleifera oil presented the highest level of nervonic acid(46.20±0.22%)among the 3 oils.Seeds oil of A.truncatum and X.sorbifolium had 3.53±0.20%and 1.83±0.21%nervonic acid respectively.53 species of TAGs and 15 species of PLs were identified in M.oleifera oil,with PLs content of 499.94±22.34μg/g.In A.truncatum oil,PL and TAG species were twice more than those in M.oleifera oil,and its’content of PLs was 76.27±3.21μg/g.In X.sorbifolium oil,75 TAGs and 34 PLs were detected,with the lowest PLs at 23.84±0.17μg/g.The results demonstrated that these 3 vegetable oils have great potential to become nervonic acid supplements for human health. | Xinghao Tu Jingya Wan Ya Xie Fang Wei Siewyoung Quek Xin Lv Liqing Du Hong Chen | 2020 | Oil Crop Science2020,5,4: | 7 |
| 5 | Three-dimensional Culture of Human Airway Epithelium in Matrigel for Evaluation of Human Rhinovirus C and Bocavirus Infections显示文摘Objective Newly identified human rhinovirus C(HRV-C) and human bocavirus(HBoV) cannot propagate in vitro in traditional cell culture models; thus obtaining knowledge about these viruses and developing related vaccines are difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a novel platform for the propagation of these types of viruses. Methods A platform for culturing human airway epithelia in a three-dimensional(3 D) pattern using Matrigel as scaffold was developed. The features of 3 D culture were identified by immunochemical staining and transmission electron microscopy. Nucleic acid levels of HRV-C and HBoV in 3 D cells at designated time points were quantitated by real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR). Levels of cytokines, whose secretion was induced by the viruses, were measured by ELISA. Results Properties of bronchial-like tissues, such as the expression of biomarkers CK5, ZO-1, and PCK, and the development of cilium-like protuberances indicative of the human respiration tract, were observed in 3 D-cultured human airway epithelial(HAE) cultures, but not in monolayer-cultured cells. Nucleic acid levels of HRV-C and HBoV and levels of virus-induced cytokines were also measured using the 3 D culture system. | 8 | Validation of the Simplified Chinese-character Version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Long Form in Urban Community-dwelling Adults:a Cross-sectional Study in Hangzhou,China显示文摘Objective To assess the test-retest reliability and criterion validity of the Simplified Chinese-character version of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire Long form(IPAQ-L) in urban community-dwelling adults in Hanghzou,China.Methods A total of 158 eligible participants aged 25-59 years from 6 neighbourhoods in two central districts of Hangzhou completed the IPAQ-L questionnaire twice within a 7-day interval.Half of the subjects wore pedometers during the first 7 days.Test-retest reliability was examined by comparing the first(Day 1) and the second(Day 9) survey of IPAQ-L.Criterion validity was assessed by comparing IPAQ-L with pedometer data.Results Modest to good test-retest reliability was found with intraclass correlation coefficients of 0.67 for total PA,0.37 to 0.73 for specific dimensions,and 0.56 to 0.71 for different intensities of PA.Total PA measured by IPAQ-L was moderately correlated with exercise levels(partial r = 0.27,P = 0.020) and walking distance(partial r = 0.31,P = 0.007),which were measured by a pedometer,after adjusting for gender,age,educational attainment and employment status.Conclusion Our results indicate that the IPAQ-L is a reliable and validated measure for assessing physical activity levels in this population and possibly the adult population in other mainland Chinese cities. | REN Yan Jun SU Meng LIU Qing Min TAN Ya Yun DU Yu Kun LI Li Ming LYU Jun | 2017 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2017,30,4: | 4 |
| 9 | Separation and enrichment of trace ractopamine in biological samples by uniformly-sized molecularly imprinted polymers显示文摘In order to prepare a high capacity packing material for solid-phase extraction with specific recognition ability of trace ractopamine in biological samples, uniformly-sized, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were prepared by a multi-step swelling and polymerization method using methacrylic acid as a functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as a cross-linker, and toluene as a porogen respectively. Scanning electron microscope and specific surface area were employed to identify the characteristics of MIPs. Ultraviolet spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Scatchard analysis and kinetic study were performed to interpret the specific recognition ability and the binding process of MIPs. The results showed that, compared with other reports, MIPs synthetized in this study showed high adsorption capacity besides specific recognition ability. The adsorption capacity of MIPs was 0.063 mmol/g at 1 mmol/L ractopamine concentration with the distribution coefficient 1.70. | 10 | Dynamical decoupling of electron spins in phosphorus-doped silicon显示文摘Quantum coherence is an important enabling feature underpinning quantum computation. However, because of couplings with its noisy surrounding environment, qubits suffer from the decoherence effects. The dynamical decoupling (DD) technique uses pulse-induced qubit flips to effectively mitigate couplings between qubits and environment. Optimal DD eliminates dephasing up to a given order with the minimum number of pulses. In this paper, we first introduce our recent work on prolonging electron spin coherence in γ-irradiated malonic acid crystals and analyze different decoherence mechanisms in this solid system. Then we focus on electron spin relaxation properties in another system, phosphorous-doped silicon (Si:P) crystals. These properties have been investigated by pulse electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). We also investigate the performance of the dynamical decoupling technique on this system. | 11 | Preparation and performance of lipophilic α-zirconium phosphate with high thermal stability and its application in thermal-plastic polymers显示文摘To prepare lipophilic α-zirconium phosphate with high grafting ratio and thermal stability(OZrP-HT) and explore its potential application in thermal-plastic polymers,a novel method was developed by surface lipophilicity enhancement strategy.The commercial a-zirconium phosphate(a-ZrP) was pre-intercalated by n-propylamine(PA) and grafted by silane coupling agents.Then the pre-intercalated PA was removed by heattreatment,and the obtained OZrP-HT was utilized to fabricate the phosphorous-containing polyester(P-co-PET)/OZrP-HT nanocomposites by melt-blending method.The prepared OZrP-HT and P-co-PET/OZrP-HT nanocomposites were characterized by Wide Angle X-ray Diffraction(WAXD),Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR),Thermogravimetric Analysis(TGA),Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM),etc.The results show that OZrP-HT with high grafting ratio(13.78 wt%) and thermal stability(T_(onset)= 368℃) was successfully prepared via this novel method and was uniformly intercalated by P-co-PET molecular chains.OZrP-HT had no significant effect on the fiber processability of P-co-PET polymer,and flame retardant properties of(P-co-PET)/OZrP-HT nanocomposites were improved.This method may be suitable for organic modification of general inorganic layered compounds and could extend the potential applications in thermo-plastic polymers. | Ya Du Feng Deng Xiaoze Jiang Huquan Ji Dan Yu Wei Wang Bin Sun Meifang Zhu | 2015 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2015,25,5: | 3 |
| 12 | Single nucleotide polymorphisms in chicken lmbr1 gene were associated with chicken growth and carcass traits显示文摘Lmbr1 is the key candidate gene controlling vertebrate limb development, but its effects on animal growth and carcass traits have never been reported. In this experiment, lmbr1 was taken as the candi-date gene affecting chicken growth and carcass traits. T/C and G/A mutations located in exon 16 and one A/C mutation located in intron 5 of chicken lmbr1 were detected from Silky, White Plymouth Rock broilers and their F2 crossing chickens by PCR-SSCP and sequencing methods. The analysis of vari-ance (ANOVA) results suggests that T/C polymorphism of exon 16 had significant association with eviscerated yield rate (EYR), gizzard rate (GR), shank and claw rate (SCR) and shank girth (SG); A/C polymorphism of intron 5 was significantly associated with SCR, liver rate and head-neck weight (HNW), while both sites had no significant association with other growth and carcass traits. | 14 | Characterization of hematopoiesis in Dabry's sturgeon(Acipenser dabryanus)显示文摘The hematological indices of Dabry's sturgeon(Acipenser dabryanus)were investigated in this paper.The results showed that the count of Red blood cell(RBC)was(0.60±0.02)1012/L,and the blood glucose(GLU)was 9.32±1.00 mmol/L.Glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(ALT)and glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase(AST)were 13.75±6.65 U/L and 359.50±40.07 U/L,respectively.Smears of peripheral blood and imprints of four tissues were studied in the trial with Wright's staining method.The results indicated that Dabry's sturgeon's blood cells could be divided into five cell types,and included erythroid,granuloid,monocytoid,lymphoid and other cells.In addition,the developmental stage of each cell lineage could be subdivided into:primitive,young and mature.In the three developmental stages,the size of each cell type was similar and gradually decreased from primitive,young to mature blood cells.Among the blood cells,the monoblast and macrophage were the biggest,while the thrombocyte was the smallest.All stages of the primitive cells and young cells were observed in head kidney and all cell types,except granuloblasts,were identified in the head kidney.In contrast,primitive cells and young cells were not observed in the spleen or liver,and few orthochromatic erythroblasts were found in peripheral blood.It can be concluded that head kidney and trunk kidney are the primary organs of hematopoiesis in the Dabry's sturgeon. | Ya Liu Qing Xiao Song Yang Liulan Zhao Hongmei Fu Jun Du Zongjun Du Taiming Yan Hao Wu | 2017 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,6: | 2 |

| 18 | Gan Shen Fu Fang ameliorates liver fibrosis in vitro and in vivo by inhibiting the inflammatory response and extracellular signalregulated kinase phosphorylation显示文摘BACKGROUND Liver fibrosis is a common health problem worldwide and there is still a lack of effective medicines.The Chinese herbal medicine,Gan Shen Fu Fang(GSFF)is composed of salvianolic acid B and diammonium glycyrrhizinate.In this study,we observed the effects of GSFF on liver fibrosis in vivo and in vitro in an attempt to provide some hope for the treatment.AIM To observe the effects of GSFF on liver fibrosis in vivo and in vitro and investigate the mechanism from the perspective of the inflammatory response and extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)phosphorylation.METHODS Common bile duct-ligated rats were used for in vivo experiments.Hepatic stellate cells-T6(HSC-T6)cells were used for in vitro experiments.Hematoxylin and eosin staining and Masson staining,biochemical assays,hydroxyproline(Hyp)assays,enzyme-linked immunoasorbent assay and western blotting were performed to evaluate the degree of liver fibrosis,liver function,the inflammatory response and ERK phosphorylation.The CCK8 assay,immunofluorescence and western blotting were applied to test the effect of GSFF on HSC-T6 cell activation and determine whether GSFF had an effect on ERK phosphorylation in HSC-T6 cells.RESULTS GSFF improved liver function and inhibited liver fibrosis in common bile ductligated rats after 3 wk of treatment,as demonstrated by histological changes,hydroxyproline assays and collagen I concentrations.GSFF alleviated inflammatory cell infiltration and reduced the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interlukin-1β]and NF-κB.In addition,GSFF decreased ERK phosphorylation.In vitro,GSFF inhibited the viability of HSC-T6 cells with and without transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1)stimulation and decreased the synthesis of collagen I.GSFF had the greatest effect at a concentration of 0.5μmol/L.GSFF inhibited the expression ofα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),a marker of HSC activation,in HSC-T6 cells.Consistent with the in vivo results,GSFF also inhibited the phosphorylation of ERK and downregulated the expression of NF-κB.CONCLUSION GSFF inhibited liver fibrosis progression in vivo and HSC-T6 cell activation in vitro.These effects may be related to an alleviated inflammatory response and downregulated ERK phosphorylation. | Qing-Hong Du Chu-Jun Zhang Wei-Hong Li Yan Mu Ya Xu Scott Lowe Lin Han Xue Yu Shu-Yan Wang Yu Li Jian Li | 2020 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,21: | 2 |
| 19 | High-Performance 3-D Fiber Network Composite Electrolyte Enabled with Li-Ion Conducting Nanofibers and Amorphous PEO-Based Cross-Linked Polymer for Ambient All-Solid-State Lithium-Metal Batteries显示文摘Solid electrolytes have gained attention recently for the development of next-generation Li-ion batteries since they can fun-damentally improve the battery stability and safety.Among various types of solid electrolytes,composite solid electrolytes(CSEs)exhibit both high ionic conductivity and excellent interfacial contact with the electrodes.Incorporating active nanofib-ers into the polymer matrix demonstrates an effective method to fabricate CSEs.However,current CSEs based on traditional poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)polymer suffer from the poor ionic conductivity of PEO and agglomeration effect of inorganic fillers at high concentrations,which limit further improvements in Li+conductivity and electrochemical stability.Herein,we synthesize a novel PEO based cross-linked polymer(CLP)as the polymer matrix with naturally amorphous structure and high room-temperature ionic conductivity of 2.40×10^(−4)S cm^(−1).Li_(0.3)La_(0.557)TiO_(3)(LLTO)nanofibers are incorporated into the CLP matrix to form composite solid electrolytes,achieving enhanced ionic conductivity without showing filler agglomeration.The high content of Li-conductive nanofibers improves the mechanical strength,ensures the conductive network,and increases the total Li+conductivity to 3.31×10^(−4)S cm^(−1).The all-solid-state Li|LiFePO_(4)batteries with LLTO nanofiber-incorporated CSEs are able to deliver attractive specific capacity of 147 mAh g^(−1)at room temperature,and no evident dendrite is found at the anode/electrolyte interface after 100 cycles. | Chaoyi Yan Pei Zhu Hao Jia Jiadeng Zhu R.Kalai Selvan Ya Li Xia Dong Zhuang Du Indunil Angunawela Nianqiang Wu Mahmut Dirican Xiangwu Zhang | 2019 | Advanced Fiber Materials2019,1,1: | 2 |
