1A Highly Pathogenic Strain of Porcine Deltacoronavirus Caused Watery Diarrhea in Newborn Piglets显示文摘Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV) is a newly identified virus that causes watery diarrhea in newborn piglets and results in significant economic losses to the pig industry. Since first reported in Hong Kong in 2012, PDCoV has been subsequently detected in USA, South Korea, Thailand, and China's Mainland. Here we isolated a strain of PDCoV, named CHN-GD-2016,from the intestinal content of a diseased newborn piglet with severe diarrhea in a pig farm in Guangdong, China. PDCoV CHN-GD-2016 could be identified by immunofluorescence with PDCoV specific rabbit antisera, and typical crown-shaped particles with spiky surface projections of this PDCoV were observed with electron microscopy. Genomic analysis showed that the PDCoV CHN-GD-2016 was closely related to other Chinese PDCoV strains, with the highest sequence similarity with the strain CHN/Tianjin/2016. Importantly, inoculation of newborn piglets with 1×10~5 TCID_(50) of CHN-GD-2016 by oral feeding successfully reproduced clear clinical symptoms, including vomiting, dehydration, and severe diarrhea in piglets. In addition, the virus RNA in rectal swabs from 1 to 7 days post inoculation was detected, macroscopic and microscopic lesions in small intestine were observed, and viral antigen was also detected in the small intestines with immunohistochemical staining. 2Effectiveness and safety of moxibustion in treatment of lumbar disc herniation: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of moxibustion therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH). METHODS: Four Chinese databases and three English databases were searched from their inception to April 2018.Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were included if moxibustion was used as the sole treatment or as a part of combination therapy with other treatments in patients with LDH. Two reviewers independently extracted the data and assessed the methodological quality using the Cochrane criteria for the risk of bias. The Meta-analysis was performed using Review Manager 5.3 software. RESULTS: In total, 16 RCTs including 1186 patients with LDH were analyzed. The Meta-analysis showed favorable effects of moxibustion in combination with massage therapy on the visual analog scale score compared with massage therapy alone [mean difference (MD)=? 1.32, 95% confidence interval (CI)(? 2.12,? 0.51), P = 0.001]. The subgroup Meta-analysis failed to show favorable effects of electro-acupuncture plus moxibustion on the efficacy rate compared with electro-acupuncture alone [relative risk (RR)= 1.06, 95% CI (0.98, 1.14), P = 0.15]. However, acupuncture or massage therapy plus moxibustion improved the efficacy rates compared with acupuncture or massage therapy alone [RR = 1.33, 95% CI (1.18, 1.49), P < 0.000 01][χ^2 = 2.76, P = 0.25, I2 = 27%],[RR = 1.15, 95% CI (1.06, 1.25), P = 0.001][χ^2 = 0.00, P = 0.95, I2 = 0%]. With respect to the Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) scores, acupuncture or massage therapy in addition to moxibustion produced results different from those of acupuncture or massage therapy alone [MD = 5.58, 95% CI (4.15, 7.00), P < 0.000 01][χ^2 = 0.58, P = 0.45, I2 = 0%],[MD = 3.61, 95% CI (3.01, 4.21), P < 0.000 01]. There were no significant differences in the JOA score for subjective symptoms, objective symptoms, daily living ability, and other parameters. In six RCTs, no adverse reactions occurred during moxibustion. CONCLUSION: Whether moxibustion is an effective intervention for LDH is unclear because of the small sample size of qualified RCTs and the high risk of bias. 3Influences of electric pulse on solidification structure of LM-29 Al-Si alloy显示文摘The metallographic structure of LM-29 aluminum-silicon alloy modified by electric pulse treatment has been investigated and compared with those untreated.The solidification structure of LM-29 alloy has been analyzed by means of M1AP3 Quantimet image processing and analysis system,and then the solidification process has been analyzed by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The results indicate that the primary silicon phase was refined remarkably by electric pulse while the tensile strength and elongation properties increased accordingly.Electric pulse treatment can also increase the binding power between silicon clusters and alloy melt matrix,as a result,the precipitation of primary silicon phase is suppressed to meet the demand of supercooling degree for nucleating,correspondingly.The electric pulse modification has great influence on the size of silicon atomic cluster as well as its distribution in the melt,subsequently,leads to the refinement of solidification structure.He Lijia Wang Jianzhong Qi Jingang Du Huiling Zhao Zuofu 2010China Foundry2010,7,2:5
4Constructing Straight Pores and Improving Mechanical Properties of GangueBased Porous Ceramics显示文摘The large-scale accumulation and pollution of solid mining waste is an urgent issue.Coal gangue is a prominent type of solid waste,and shows promise for use in high value-added products due to its content of many important compounds,including SiO_(2) and Al2O3.This study proposed the preparation of highly porous ceramics from coal gangue,coal slime,and coconut palm fibers.The ceramics were produced at a sintering temperature of 950℃ with a fiber content of 6 wt%,which led to the formation of porous ceramics with a porosity of 66.93%,volume density of 1.0329 g/cm^(3),compressive strength of 1.1025 MPa,and thermal conductivity is 0.3919 K(W/mk).A finite element model of the porous ceramics was established using the Abaqus module in ANSYS software,where the stress distribution and compressive strength were simulated.Further,the relationship between porosity and compressive strength was analyzed.The thermal properties of the porous ceramics were analyzed using the Fluent module,where the simulated changes in porosity under various sintering temperatures were consistent with the experimental data.The preparation of this highly porous ceramic from solid waste coal gangue shows promise for the minimizing the impact of waste gas and wastewater pollution in the future.Hang Xu Huiling Du Le Kang Qiudi Cheng Danni Feng Siyu Xia 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,12:4
5MOF-Derived ZnS Nanodots/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene Hybrids Boosting Superior Lithium Storage Performance显示文摘ZnS has great potentials as an anode for lithium storage because of its high theoretical capacity and resource abundance;however,the large volume expansion accompanied with structural collapse and low conductivity of ZnS cause severe capacity fading and inferior rate capability during lithium storage. Herein,0D-2 D ZnS nanodots/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_x MXene hybrids are prepared by anchoring ZnS nanodots on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets through coordination modulation between MXene and MOF precursor(ZIF-8) followed with sulfidation. The MXene substratecoupled with the ZnS nanodots can synergistically accommodate volume variation of ZnS over charge–discharge to realize stable cyclability. As revealed by XPS characterizations and DFT calculations,the strong interfacial interaction between ZnS nanodots and MXene nanosheets can boost fast electron/lithium-ion transfer to achieve excellent electrochemical activity and kinetics for lithium storage. Thereby,the as-prepared ZnS nanodots/MXene hybrid exhibits a high capacity of 726.8 mAh g^(-1) at 30 mA g^(-1),superior cyclic stability(462.8 mAh g^(-1) after 1000 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1)),and excellent rate performance. 6Flexible organic thin-film transistors based on poly(3-hexylthiophene) films for nitrogen dioxide detection显示文摘Flexible nitrogen dioxide(NO_2) gas sensors based on organic thin-film transistors(OTFTs) were developed in this work, in which conductive indium tin oxide(ITO) coated polyethylene naphthalene-2,6-dicarboxylate(PEN) was designed for the flexible substrates, and poly methyl methacrylate(PMMA) and poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) was spin-coated as the gate dielectric layer and spray-deposited as the active layer, respectively. The effects of PMMA concentrations and P3HT solution volume on performances of flexible OTFTs were systematically investigated. The results showed that the optimized flexible OTFT exhibited high field-effect mobility(9.51×10^(–3) cm^2/(V s) at a gate bias of –50 V) and excellent response characteristics,including high sensitivity(up to 0.169 ppm^(–1)), good repeatability and selectivity. The flexibility of the developed OTFT sensor was also investigated, and the results showed that the electrical and gas-sensing properties were affected by the bending cycles,thus further work should be done for improving the flexibility of the sensor. 7Ultrahigh energy density and improved discharged efficiency in bismuth sodium titanate based relaxor ferroelectrics with A-site vacancy显示文摘Novel A-site deficient(1-x-y)Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)BaTiO_(3-y)Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)lead-free relaxor ferroelectrics have been explored for energy storage property.Particularly slim polarization hysteresis(P-E)loops are observed in 0.655Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)-0.065BaTiO_(3)-0.28Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)□_(0.1)TiO_(3)(6.5BNBT-BST)at ambient temperature resulting in a giant recoverable energy density(W_(rec)=1.5 J cm^(-3))and extremely high efficiency(η=90%)at 100 kV cm^(-1),which are closed related to the track of P-E loops.As the addition of Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)(BST)content,the ergodic relaxor phase becomes dominant with dynamic polar nanoregions attributed to the absence of ferroelectric domain in the relaxor phase.Furthermore,the recoverable energy density exhibits small variation in elevated temperature where the depressed polarization is compensated by almost hysteresis free loops(ηup to 97%).The achievement of these characteristics in P-E loops provides that Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)tailoring by A-site vacancies is a potential route when designing new relaxor ferroelectrics for energy-storage applications.Xiao Liu Jing Shi Fangyuan Zhu Huiling Du Tangyuan Li Xiangchun Liu Hai Lu 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,3:3
8A review on nitrogen transformation and conversion during coal pyrolysis and combustion based on quantum chemical calculation and experimental study显示文摘The emission of NOx during coal combustion contributes to the formation of acid rain and photochemical smog,which would seriously affect the quality of atmospheric environment.Therefore,the decrease of NOx is of great importance for improving the efficient utilization of coal.The present review comprehensively summarized the influence factors and mechanisms of migration and transformation of nitrogen during the coal pyrolysis and combustion based on experimental study and quantum chemical calculation.Firstly,in the process of pyrolysis:the occurrence state and transformation of nitrogen were concluded.The influence of temperature,atmosphere,heating rate and catalyst on formation of NOx precursor and nitrogen migration path at the molecular level were summarized;Secondly,during the process of combustion:the influence of temperature,ambient oxygen concentration,physical structure of coal char,catalyst on heterogeneous oxidation of char(N)were summarized;The effects of char surface properties,catalyst and ambient atmosphere on heterogeneous reduction of NOx were also concluded.Based on the quantum chemical calculation,the reaction path of heterogeneous oxidation of char-N and heterogeneous reduction of NOx were described in detail.Current studies focus more on the generation of HCN and NH3,but in order to reduce the pollution of NOx from the source,it is necessary to further improve the process conditions and the optimal formula of producing more N2 during pyrolysis,as well as clarify the path of the generation of N2.Experiments study and quantum chemistry calculation should be combined to complete the research of directional nitrogen reduction during pyrolysis and denitration during combustion.Tingting Jiao Huiling Fan Shoujun Liu Song Yang Wenguang Du Pengzheng Shi Chao Yang Yeshuang Wang Ju Shangguan 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:2

10Synthesis and Catalytic Performance of a New V-doped CeO_(2)-supported Alkali-activated-steel-slag-based Photocatalyst显示文摘A novel V-doped CeO_(2)-supported alkali-activated-steel-slag-based catalyst(V-CeO_(2)/AC)for photocatalytic decomposition of water to hydrogen was prepared via co-impregnation method.The chemical composition,mineral phase,morphology,and optical performances of the synthesized catalyst samples were characterized by XRF,XRD,SEM,UV-Vis DRS,and so on.XRD and SEM results show that calcium silicate hydrate(Ca1.5SiO3.5·xH2O)mineral phase is formed in the carrier sample,and the prepared catalyst specimens are made up of approximately 50 nm particles.After 6 hours of xenon lamp irradiation,the catalyst supported on V-doped 8wt%CeO_(2) exhibits the highest photocatalytic hydrogen production activity(8292μmol/g),which is attributed to the interaction between the V-doped CeO_(2) active components and FeO existed in catalyst carrier.A possible photocatalytic decomposition of water for hydrogen production mechanism over the V-8CeO_(2)/AC catalyst was proposed.康乐 DU Huiling DENG Jun JING Xinrui ZHANG Sen ZNANG Yaojun 2021Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,2:2

12Electrical properties of La_2Mo_(1.98)Nb_(0.02)O_(8.99) oxide ionic conductors prepared by tape casting显示文摘La_2Mo_(2-x)Nb_xO_(9-δ) thick films have been successfully prepared by using a tape casting technique. Partial stabilization of the high temperature cubic phase is revealed in Nb doped La_2Mo_2O_9(LMO) films. The sintering temperature is decreased to 925 ℃ as compared with that of 1150 ℃ in bulk ceramics. The grain exhibits an oxide ionic conductivity of 0.014 S cm^(-1) at 603 ℃ for La_2Mo_(1.98) Nb_(0.02)O_(8.99), which is 39% higher than pure LMO. 13Adsorption behaviors of gas molecules on the surface of ZnO nanocrystals under UV irradiation显示文摘A UV-activated room temperature chemiresistive gas sensor based on ZnO nanocrystals film was fabricated. Its gas sensing properties under various conditions were also investigated in detail. The results shed new insight into the adsorption behaviors of gas molecules on the surface of ZnO nanocrystals under UV irradiation. The chemisorbed oxygen species(O^-2(ads)(hv)) induced by UV light govern the adsorption and desorption ways of other gas molecules on the surface of ZnO nanocrystals, which is dependent on the electron affinity of gas molecules. Gas molecules with higher electron affinity than oxygen molecules can be adsorbed on the surface by the competitive adsorption way, extracting electrons from the surface. Gas molecules with lower electron affinity than oxygen molecules are attracted by the adsorbed O^-2(ads)(hv)layer, releasing electrons to the surface. These processes can influence the gas sensing properties of the sensor.
