1Expression changes and bioinformatic analysis of Wallerian degeneration after sciatic nerve injury in rat显示文摘Wallerian degeneration (WD) remains an important research topic. Many genes are differentially expressed during the process of WD, but the precise mechanisms responsible for these differentiations are not completely understood. In this study, we used microarrays to analyze the expression changes of the distal nerve stump at 0, 1, 4, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after sciatic nerve injury in rats. The data revealed 6 076 differentially-expressed genes, with 23 types of expression, specifically enriched in genes associated with nerve development and axonogenesis, cytokine biosynthesis, cell differentiation, cytokine/chemokine production, neuron differentiation, cytokinesis, phosphorylation and axon regeneration. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis gave findings related mainly to the MAPK signaling pathway, the Jak-STAT signaling pathway, the cell cycle, cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, the p53 signaling pathway and the Wnt signaling pathway. Some key factors were NGF, MAG, CNTF, CTNNA2, p53, JAK2, PLCB1, STAT3, BDNF, PRKC, collagen II, FGF, THBS4, TNC and c-Src, which were further validated by real-time quantitative PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry. 2流动人口宫内节育器使用情况及影响因素分析显示文摘目的:了解上海市闵行区流动人口宫内节育器(IUD)的使用情况及影响因素。方法:采用结构式问卷进行调查。结果:本次共调查2001名流动人口,其中采用避孕措施的1300人,使用最多的避孕方式是IUD,占51.08%(664人),但70.63%的调查对象不知道自己使用的IUD种类。以IUD作为避孕方式的主要是已婚的对象,使用的比例为59.57%;30~40岁对象使用比例略高于其他年龄组;初中学历使用比例最高(57.70%);到现居住地后,仅有50.09%的对象进行过IUD复查,大学以上文化程度复查比例最高。结论:计划生育部门应加强有关IUD的宣教和复查服务,特别是对已婚、文化程度较低的流动人口,从而使他们能选择适宜、有效的避孕措施,提高他们的生殖健康水平。李玉艳 叶江枫 姜综敏 王瑞平 武俊青 Melbourne Frank Hovell Ming Ji DingDing 2009中国计划生育学杂志2009,17,2:10
3An Adaptive Routing Algorithm for Integrated Information Networks显示文摘The integrated information network is a large capacity information network that integrates various communication platforms on the ground, at sea, in the air and in the deep air through the inter-satellite and satellite-ground links to acquire information accurately, process it quickly, and transmit it efficiently. The satellite communication, as an important part of integrated information networks, is one of main approaches to acquire, process and distribute communication information and resources. In this paper, based on current researches of the satellite communication network, we put forward a 3-layer satellite communication network model based on the Software Defined Network (SDN). Meanwhile, to improve current routing policies of the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication network, we put forward an Adaptive Routing Algorithm (ARA) to sustain the shortest satellite communication link. 4吸烟对精液质量常规指标影响的研究显示文摘目的探讨吸烟对精液质量常规指标的影响及其影响程度。方法于2004--2006年在河北、山西、贵州、浙江和山东省选择727例合格的研究对象,其中421例为吸烟者,306例为非吸烟者。通过问卷调查方法收集对象的一般人口学特征、吸烟暴露情况以及可能的混杂因素,同时收集所有研究对象的精液标本。精液分析统一按照WHO推荐的检测方法。采用SAS8.0软件分析吸烟指标(是否吸烟、每日吸烟支数、吸烟年数及总吸烟量)对5个精液常规检测指标(精液量及精子密度、存活率、前向运动率和正常形态率)的影响及其影响程度。结果以精液常规指标是否正常为应变量,在调整可能的6个混杂因素(地区、年龄、禁欲时间、文化程度、饮酒和接触农药)后,分别按降序拟合多因素logistic回归的4个模型。多因素调整后,与不吸烟组相比,吸烟组精子存活率异常的比例明显提高(DR=1.77,95%CI:1.12。2.80);吸烟组精子活力和形态异常的比例也显著增加,OR值分别为1.51(95%CI:1.00~2.27)、2.55(95%CI:1.68~3.88)。每日吸烟量≥20支(0R=1.70,95%CI:1.05~2.76)以及总吸烟量≥15万支(0R=1.84,95%CI:1.03~3.29)时,可引起精子密度显著下降。结论吸烟对精液质量有不良影响,大量或长期吸烟者对精液质量的影响尤为明显。武俊青 李玉艳 高尔生 戎芬 周建淞 MelbourneF.Hovel MingJi DingDing 2012中华流行病学杂志2012,33,12:9

6Influences of Risk Perception and Sense of Place on Landslide Disaster Preparedness in Southwestern China显示文摘The effects of risk perception and sense of place on disaster preparedness have been widely reported.However, most studies have only demonstrated weak relationships and it is unknown whether these are applicable to China. This study investigated such relationships in hazard-threatened areas of the Three Gorges Reservoir area in southwestern China. Data were collected from 348 farming households in landslide-prone areas. Binary logistic and Tobit regression models were constructed to determine whether risk perception and sense of place influence landslide preparedness. The results show that:(1)Farming households' awareness of the need to prepare for disasters was relatively low, and disaster preparedness behaviors were mainly based on self-learning. Among the348 sampled households, 67% exhibited no disaster preparedness behavior, and only 2% adopted four of the five types of disaster preparedness behaviors. About a quarter of farming households consciously learned disaster-related knowledge.(2) Risk perception and sense of place had important influences on disaster preparedness. Respondentswho received higher scores on the perception of the probability of a landslide, the threat of a landslide, and the place dependence variables were more likely to adopt a greater number of disaster preparedness behaviors.Respondents with higher scores on the perception of controllability in the case of a landslide were less likely to adopt a greater number of disaster preparedness behaviors.Additionally, individual and household socioeconomic characteristics—education, loss, distance from hazard site,information acquisition channel, and housing material—were all related to household disaster preparedness behavior. 7Gene expression profiling of the rat sciatic nerve in early Wallerian degeneration after injury显示文摘Wallerian degeneration is an important area of research in modern neuroscience.A large number of genes are differentially regulated in the various stages of Wallerian degeneration,especially during the early response.In this study,we analyzed gene expression in early Wallerian degeneration of the distal nerve stump at 0,0.5,1,6,12 and 24 hours after rat sciatic nerve injury using gene chip microarrays.We screened for differentially-expressed genes and gene expression patterns.We examined the data for Gene Ontology,and explored the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes Pathway.This allowed us to identify key regulatory factors and recurrent network motifs.We identified 1 546 differentially-expressed genes and 21 distinct patterns of gene expression in early Wallerian degeneration,and an enrichment of genes associated with the immune response,acute inflammation,apoptosis,cell adhesion,ion transport and the extracellular matrix.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analysis revealed components involved in the Jak-STAT,ErbB,transforming growth factor-β,T cell receptor and calcium signaling pathways.Key factors included interleukin-6,interleukin-1,integrin,c-sarcoma,carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecules,chemokine(C-C motif) ligand,matrix metalloproteinase,BH3 interacting domain death agonist,baculoviral IAP repeat-containing 3 and Rac.The data were validated with real-time quantitative PCR.This study provides a global view of gene expression profiles in early Wallerian degeneration of the rat sciatic nerve.Our findings provide insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying early Wallerian degeneration,and the regulation of nerve degeneration and regeneration.Dengbing Yao Meiyuan Li Dingding Shen Fei Ding Shibi Lu Qin Zhao Xiaosong Gu 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,17:5

9Energy-efficient cognitive access approach to convergence communications显示文摘This article studies the cognitive access in convergence communications.Convergence communications provide upper-layer applications with uniform communication service,converging different lower-layer networks into a uniform access pattern such as all-IP communications.As an import access in convergence communications,the cognitive access provides users with a flexible and dynamic access to networks.In this article,we do not only take into account the spectrum usage of convergence communication networks,but also consider theirs energy efficiency.An energy-efficient access algorithm is proposed to improve network performance and efficiency.Different from the existing cognitive access,we regard energy efficiency as the optimal objective to turn the energy-efficient cognitive access into an optimal problem.The collision avoidance and sleeping mechanisms are used to reduce energy consumption and raise network throughput.The utility function is proposed to maximize networks’energy efficiency and then achieve the energy-efficient cognitive access.Simulation results show that the proposed approach is effective and feasible,which can significantly improve networks’energy efficiency.XU ZhengZheng QIN WenDa TANG QingYi JIANG DingDe 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4:4

11Scar-modulating treatments for central nervous system injury显示文摘Traumatic injury to the adult mammalian central nervous system(CNS) leads to complex cellular responses. Among them, the scar tissue formed is generally recognized as a major obstacle to CNS repair, both by the production of inhibitory molecules and by the physical impedance of axon regrowth. Therefore, scar-modulating treatments have become a leading therapeutic intervention for CNS injury. To date, a variety of biological and pharmaceutical treatments, targeting scar modulation, have been tested in animal models of CNS injury, and a few are likely to enter clinical trials. In this review, we summarize current knowledge of the scar-modulating treatments according to their specific aims:(1) inhibition of glial and fibrotic scar formation, and(2) blockade of the production of scar-associated inhibitory molecules. The removal of existing scar tissue is also discussed as a treatment of choice. 12A microfluidic all-vanadium photoelectrochemical cell with a full-spectrum-responsive Ti2O3 photoanode for efficient solar energy storage显示文摘The all-vanadium photoelectrochemical cell is one of the promising solar energy storage technologies. However, conventional photoanodes surfer from low solar energy utilization efficiency as a result of narrow spectrum response and poor mass transfer.Hence, in this study, a microfluidic all-vanadium photoelectrochemical cell with a full-spectrum-responsive Ti2O3 photoanode was proposed for efficient solar energy storage. Experimental results indicated that the Ti2O3 photoanode responded to almost the full spectrum of sunlight and exhibited excellent photoresponse and operation stability, which facilitated efficient solar energy utilization. Additionally, the effects of the light intensity, vanadium ion concentration, and electrolyte flow rate were studied. It was found that increasing the light intensity and vanadium ion concentration and reducing the electrolyte flow rate promoted photoelectrochemical reactions and thus improved the solar energy storage performance. 13Influences of Sense of Place on Farming Households' Relocation Willingness in Areas Threatened by Geological Disasters:Evidence from China显示文摘Scholars from environmental psychology,geography, disaster science, and sociology have recently focused attention on evacuation and relocation behaviors and influencing factors in hazard-threatened areas. However, existing studies are mainly focused on developed countries and the influence of individual characteristics,household characteristics, and the perception of risk of urban households on evacuation and relocation behaviors.Few studies examine developing countries and the influence of farmers' sense of place in geological hazardthreatened areas. Using statistics of farming households in an area threatened by landslides, this is a pilot study to explore the relationship of sense of place to the relocation willingness of farming households while controlling for other variables. The results show that:(1) Households with higher scores of place identity and place dependence are less willing to relocate, whereas place attachment has no significant relationship to household relocation willingness;(2) Risk perception dimensions, including probability,threat, and controllability have a significant relationship to household relocation willingness, while worry and fear of the unknown have no significant relationship;(3) Household characteristics, including income, whether a household has experienced economic loss from landslides, and social support are significantly correlated with household relocation willingness, while gender, age, experience, distance to hazard sites, size of household, children, older people, and housing material are not. The results for information and education are not robust. 14Novel directional comparison protection for distribution lines显示文摘For quickly clearing up a fault of distribution lines, which concerned with complex structure and operating modes, a directional comparison protection is necessary. The paper evaluated the traditional directional relay through modeling a typical distribution system and presented a novel negative sequence directional relay and a new directional comparison protection scheme specially designed for distribution systems. In the relay and the protection scheme, a particular negative sequence component has been constructed to solve the problem that there is no negative sequence component in a symmetrical fault case so that they could operate correctly in both asymmetrical fault and symmetrical fault. Extensive EMTP simulation studies proved that the protection schemes are able to provide fast and reliable responses for all fault conditions. 16Prevalence and risk factors of enteral nutrition intolerance in intensive care unit patients: a retrospective study显示文摘Background: Feeding intolerance (FI) among intensive care unit (ICU) patients undergoing early continuous enteral nutrition (EN) is related to poor outcomes. This study aimed to explore the prevalence and risk factors of FI in ICU patients.Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 1057 patients who received early continuous EN via a nasogastric tube between January 2014 and August 2019. The prevalence of FI during the first 7 days of ICU stay was calculated, and the risk factors were investigated using multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results: The prevalence of FI during the first 7 days of ICU stay was 10.95%. FI occurred in 159 of 1057 (15.04%) patients on ICU day 2, 114 of 977 (11.67%) patients on ICU day 3, and 86 of 715 (12.03%) patients on ICU day 7. Mechanical ventilation (MV) (odds ratio [OR]: 1.928, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.064–3.493,P = 0.03) was an independent risk factor for FI defined by a gastric residual volume (GRV) of 200 mL and/or vomiting, and acute renal failure (OR: 3.445, 95% CI: 1.115–10.707,P = 0.032) was an independent risk factor of FI defined by a GRV of 500 mL and/or vomiting. Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) was an independent predictor regardless of the FI defined by a GRV of 200 mL (OR: 2.064, 95% CI: 1.233–3.456,P = 0.006) or 500 mL (OR: 6.199, 95% CI: 2.108–18.228,P = 0.001) in the ICU patients.Conclusions: FI occurs frequently in early ICU days, especially in patients receiving MV and CRRT. 17An MFC capable of regenerating the cathodic electron acceptor under sunlight显示文摘A renewable MFC (microbial fuel cell) cathode was used in this study because the iodide ion could react with oxygen to generate triiodide under natural sunlight.The feasibility of the regeneration of triiodide ion under natural sunlight and the effect of the regenerated triiodide ion concentration on the MFC performance were studied.The results showed that the power density of the MFC using triiodide ion as cathodic electron acceptor was significantly higher than that of using ferricyanate,and that the iodide ion can be oxidized to triiodide ion by oxygen in air at the expense of natural sunlight.In addition,it was obvious from the experimental results that the MFC performance was improved with the increase of the triiodide concentration,indicating that the concentration of triiodide ion had a critical effect on the MFC performance.The linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) curves for the electro-reduction of triiodide ion on the carbon paper were obtained and the results suggested that the diffusion process of triiodide ions to cathode was the control factor for the MFC performance.FU Qian,LI Jun,ZHU Xun,LIAO Qiang,YE DingDing & ZHANG Liang Institute of Engineering Thermophysics,Chongqing University,Chongqing 400030,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,9:2
