2Streamflow response to climate variability and human activities in the upper catchment of the Yellow River Basin显示文摘Both sensitivity-based method and simulation method are used to analyze the streamflow response to climate variability and human activities in the upper catchment of the Yellow River Basin (UYRB) in this study. The separation regime of effects from climate variability and human activities is investigated. Results show that the changes of streamflow are more sensitive to precipitation than potential evapotranspiration (PET). Effect of climate variability on streamflow estimated using the sensitivity-based method is weak in the upper catchment of Jimai station, and strong in the upper catchment of Lanzhou station, where the climate effects accounted for about 50% of total streamflow changes. Effects of human activities on streamflow accounted for about 40% in the UYRB, with weaker effects in the upper catchment of Tangnaihai station than those in the upper catchment of Lanzhou station. 3Monitoring slope deformation using a 3-D laser image scanning system: a case study显示文摘An ILRIS-36D 3-D laser image scanning system was used to monitor the Anjialing strip mine slope on Pingshuo in Shanxi province. The basic working principles, performance indexes, features and data collection and processing methods are illus-trated. The point cloud results are analyzed in detail. The rescale range analysis method was used to analyze the deformation char-acteristics of the slope. The results show that the trend of slope displacement is stable and that the degree of landslide danger is low. This work indicates that 3-D laser image scanning can supply multi-parameter, high precision real time data over long distances. 4Emerging CoMn-LDH@MnO2 electrode materials assembled using nanosheets for flexible and foldable energy storage devices显示文摘CoMn layered double hydroxides(CoMn-LDH)are promising electrode materials for supercapacitors because of their excellent cyclic stability.However,they possess relatively low capacitances.In this work,hybrid CoMn-LDH@MnO2 products grown on Ni foams were obtained through a facile hydrothermal method.The as-synthesized samples employed as electrodes deliver a specific capacitance of 2325.01 F g^-1 at 1 A g^-1.An assembled asymmetric supercapacitor using these products as positive electrodes shows a maximum energy density of 59.73 W h kg^-1 at 1000.09 W kg^-1.The prominent electrochemical performance of the as-prepared electrodes could be attributes to hierarchical structures.These findings suggest that hybrid structures might be potential alternatives for future flexible energy storage devices.Yue Zhao Jiafeng He Meizhen Dai Depeng Zhao Xiang Wu Baodan Liu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,6:7
5Occurrence and bioaccumulation of polybrominated diphenyl ethers in sediments and paddy ecosystems of Liaohe River Basin, northeast China显示文摘Concentrations of 16 polybrominated diphenyl ether(PBDE) congeners were measured in river sediments, paddy soils and three species of paddy-field organisms(crab, loach and carp) collected from the Liaohe River Basin, northeastern China. The total contents of PBDEs(∑_(16)PBDEs) in sediments and paddy soils were in the ranges of 273.4–3246.3 pg/g dry weight(dw), and 192.1–1783.8 pg/g dw, respectively. BDE 209 was the dominant congener both in sediments and paddy soils. The concentrations of ∑_(16)PBDEs in sediments were significantly higher than those in the adjacent paddy soils, indicating a potential transport of PBDEs from river to paddy ecosystems via river water irrigation. The biota–soil accumulation factor(BSAF) was calculated as the ratio between the lipid-normalized concentration in paddyfield organisms and the total organic carbon-normalized concentration in paddy soil. The average BSAF values of ∑15PBDEs followed the sequence of crab(3.6) > loach(3.3) > carp(2.1). BDE 154 had the highest BSAF value, and a parabolic trend between BSAF values of individual PBDE congeners and their log KOWvalues was observed. 7Na2V6O16·2.14H2O nanobelts as a stable cathode for aqueous zinc-ion batteries with long-term cycling performance显示文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs) have been considered as one of the most promising electrochemical devices for large-scale energy storage system owing to their low cost and high safety. Herein, Na2V6O16·2.14H2O nanobelts are synthesized and applied as cathode material for ZIBs. The sample displays a high capacity of 466 m Ahg^-1 at 100 mAg^-1 and stable cycling performance with a capacity retention of 90% over 20 0 0 cycles at the 20 Ag^-1. Moreover, Na2V6O16·2.14H2O presents a capable rate ability and a high energy density of 312 Wh kg^-1 at a specific power of 70 Wkg^-1. The superior electrochemical performance is attributed to the large interlayer spacing and outstanding structure stability, which promise the highly reversible intercalation and extraction of zinc ion. The electrochemical kinetics and zinc ion storage mechanism are also investigated. 8Extraction mechanism and separation behaviors of low-concentration Nd^(3+) and Al^(3+) in P507-H_(2)SO_(4) system显示文摘In order to clarify the solvent extraction and separation behaviors of rare earths and impurity of Al during the extraction and enrichment of low-concentration leach solution of ion-adsorption rare earth ore,the extraction mechanism and separation behaviors of Nd^(3+)and Al^(3+)in the Nd_(2)(SO_(4))_(3)-AI_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) mixed solution using P507 were studied in this work.The extraction of Nd^(3+)and Al^(3+)follows the cation exchange mechanism.With the increase of the equilibrium pH,β_(Nd/Al) in the extraction of the Nd_(2)(SO_(4))_(3)-Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) mixed solution using P507 is always higher than that in the extraction of single Nd_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) and Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) solutions.It can be attributed to the fact that the extraction of Nd^(3+)using P507 is much faster than that of Al^(3+),and Al^(3+)is more prone to be hydrolyzed at lower pH.β_(Nd/Al) in the extraction of the Nd_(2)(SO_(4))_(3)-Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3) mixed solution decreases gradually with the increase of mixing time within the equilibrium pH range of 1.5-1.9.The extraction of Nd^(3+)using P507 is much faster than that of Al^(3+),but the stability of Al^(3+)-Ioaded organic phase is better than that of Nd^(3+)-loaded organic phase,thus Nd^(3+)in the Nd^(3+)-loaded organic phase is gradually replaced by Al^(3+)in the aqueous phase with the increase of mixing time.Hongyuan Zhang Longsheng Zhao Xudong Zheng Depeng Liu Zongyu Feng Yongqi Zhang Xiaowei Huang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,6:3
9Effect of ultrasonic vibration on finished quality in ultrasonic vibration assisted micromilling of Inconel718显示文摘Inconel718 was machined with the traditional micromilling(TMM)and ultrasonic vibration assisted micromilling(UVAMM)with the different technology parameters,whose surface quality and burrs formation were studied.The results show that TMM often forms pits,bumps and gullies in the size effect range.UVAMM effectively improves the surface quality compared with TMM.The surface defects are significantly reduced with the increase of feed per tooth(fz).When fz exceeds 4 lm,the effect of ultrasonic vibration on the surface quality is no longer obvious.The minimum burr size on the down milling side and the up milling side are 50.23 lm and 36.57 lm,respectively.The feasibility of vibration cutting in improving surface quality and suppressing burr size was verified.UVAMM effectively suppresses the formation of built-up edge,which can significantly improve the micromilling process.The cutting force is obtained through simulation and experiment.They are agreement in the change trend.The finite element simulation can be used to predict the cutting force.Compared with TMM,feeding force(Fx),radial force(Fy)and axial force(Fz)of UVAMM decrease by 7.6%,11.5%and 1.3%,respectively.Bin FANG Zhonghang YUAN Depeng LI Liying GAO 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6:3

11Taxonomic and functional variations in the microbial community during the upgrade process of a full-scale landfill leachate treatment plant-from conventional to partial nitrification-denitrification显示文摘Because of the low access to biodegradable organic substances used for denitrification,the partial nitrification-denitrification process has been considered as a low-cost,sustainable alternative for landfill leachate treatment.In this study,the process upgrade from conventional to partial nitrificationdenitrification was comprehensively investigated in a full-scale landfill leachate treatment plant(LLTP).The partial nitrification-denitrification system was successfully achieved through the optimizing dissolved oxygen and the external carbon source,with effluent nitrogen concentrations lower than 150 mg/L.Moreover,the upgrading process facilitated the enrichment of Nitrosomonas(abundance increased from 0.4%to 3.3%),which was also evidenced by increased abundance of amoA/B/C genes carried by Nitrosomonas.Although Nitrospira(accounting for 0.1%-0.6%)was found to stably exist in the reactor tank,considerable nitrite accumulation occurred in the reactor(reaching 98.8 mg/L),indicating high-efficiency of the partial nitrification process.Moreover,the abundance of Thauera,the dominant denitrifying bacteria responsible for nitrite reduction,gradually increased from 0.60%to 5.52%during the upgrade process.This process caused great changes in the microbial community,inducing continuous succession of heterotrophic bacteria accompanied by enhanced metabolic potentials toward organic substances.The results obtained in this study advanced our understanding of the operation of a partial nitrification-denitrification system and provided a technical case for the upgrade of currently existing full-scale LLTPs.Binbin Sheng Depeng Wang Xianrong Liu Guangxing Yang Wu Zeng Yiqing Yang Fangang Meng 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,6:3

13Hardware/software co-verification platform for EOS design显示文摘Ethernet over SDH/SONET (EOS) is a hotspot in today's data transmission technology for it combines the merits of both Ethernet and SDH/SONET. However, implementing an EOS system on a chip is complex and needs full verifications. This paper introduces our design of Hardware/Software co-verification platform for EOS design. The hardware platform contains a microprocessor board and an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)-based verification board, and the corresponding software includes test benches running in FPGAs, controlling programs for the microprocessor and a console program with GUI (Graphical User Interface) interface for configuration, management and supervision. The design is cost-effective and has been successfully employed to verify several IP (Intellectual Property) blocks of our EOS chip. 18Synthesis of Polyphenylenes through Bergman Cyclization of Enediynes with Long Chain Alkyl Groups显示文摘Several new enediynes with long chain alkyl groups were synthesized through Sonogashira coupling reactions between long chain alkynes and(Z)-1,2-dichloroethene. These enediynes(1) were then subjected to thermal Bergman cyclization in a refluxing diphenyl ether bath under vacuum to obtain conjugated polyphenylenes with the weight-average molecular weights up to 4.9 × 103 g·mol·1. The occurrence of Bergman cyclization was confirmed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and IR spectroscopic analysis. These polyphenylenes are fully soluble in common organic solvents and exhibit good thermal stability. The optical properties of the polyphenylenes were investigated by UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopies.
