1An eco-environmental friendly operation: An effective method to mitigate the harmful blooms in the tributary bays of Three Gorges Reservoir显示文摘Harmful algal blooms, which frequently occur in different tributaries, have become a serious water quality problem of the Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR) since its initial filling. A three-year monitoring campaign from 2008 to 2010 was conducted to identify the controlling factors of algal blooms and effective preventive measures. The following results were obtained: 1) Layered and bidirectional currents, called intrusive density currents, dominate the tributary bays of the TGR year round; 2) continuously increasing water level can make the intruding density current shift from the middle to the surface, and surface intrusive water can reduce the surface water temperature and break the stable stratification of the tributary; 3) the appearing or fading away of algal blooms is closely associated with fluctuations in the TGR water level. Thus, the water level fluctuation patterns of different 'tide-types' may prevent the occurrence of algal blooms in the spring and summer, and the 'stair-type' tides may control autumn blooms during the impounding period. These methods were feasible and effective throughout the actual TGR's operation in 2009 2011. These patterns formed an eco-environmentally friendly operation (EEFO) to mitigate algal blooms. 6A review:Modification strategies of nickel-rich layer structure cathode(Ni≥0.8)materials for lithium ion power batteries显示文摘Lithium ion power batteries have undoubtedly become one of the most promising rechargeable batteries at present;nonetheless,they still suffer from the challenges such as requirement of even higher energy density and capacity retention.Nickel-rich layer oxides(Ni≥0.8)become ideal cathode materials to achieve the high specific capacity.Integration of optimization of synthesis process and modification of crystal structure to suppress the capacity fading can obviously improve the performance of the lithium ion batteries.This review presents the recent modification strategies of the nickel-rich layered oxide materials.Unlike in previous reviews and related papers,the specific mechanism about each type of the modification strategies is specially discussed in detail,which is mainly about inhibiting the anisotropic lattice strain and adjusting the cation mixing degree to maintain crystal structure.Based on the recent progress,the prospects and challenges of the modified nickel-rich layer cathodes to upgrade the property of lithium ion batteries are also comprehensively analyzed,and the potential applications in the field of plug-in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles are further discussed.Haijian Lv Chunli Li Zhikun Zhao Borong Wu Daobin Mu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,9:6
7The combination of chidamide with the CHOEP regimen in previously untreated patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma: a prospective, multicenter, single arm, phase 1b/2 study显示文摘Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of the novel histone deacetylase inhibitor,chidamide,in combination with cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,etoposide,and prednisone(Chi-CHOEP)for untreated peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL).Methods:A prospective,multicenter,single arm,phase 1 b/2 study was conducted.A total of 128 patients with untreated PTCL(18–70 years of age)were enrolled between March 2016 and November 2019,and treated with up to 6 cycles with the Chi-CHOEP regimen.In the phase 1 b study,3 dose levels of chidamide were evaluated and the primary endpoint was determination of the maximumtolerated dose and recommended phase 2 dose(RP2 D).The primary endpoint of the phase 2 study was 2-year progression-free survival(PFS).Results:Fifteen patients were enrolled in the phase 1 b study and the RP2 D for chidamide was determined to be 20 mg,twice a week.A total of 113 patients were treated at the RP2 D in the phase 2 study,and the overall response rate was 60.2%,with a complete response rate of 40.7%.At a median follow-up of 36 months,the median PFS was 10.7 months,with 1-,2-,and 3-year PFS rates of 49.9%,38.0%,and 32.8%,respectively.The Chi-CHOEP regimen was well-tolerated,with grade 3/4 neutropenia occurring in approximately two-thirds of the patients.No unexpected adverse events(AEs)were reported and the observed AEs were manageable.Conclusions:This large cohort phase 1 b/2 study showed that Chi-CHOEP was well-tolerated with modest efficacy in previously untreated PTCL patients.Wei Zhang Liping Su Lihong Liu Yuhuan Gao Quanshun Wang Hang Su Yuhuan Song Huilai Zhang Jing Shen Hongmei Jing Shuye Wang Xinan Cen Hui Liu Aichun Liu Zengjun Li Jianmin Luo Jianxia He Jingwen Wang O.A.O’Connor Daobin Zhou 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:4
8Hybrid Method Based on Information Gain and Support Vector Machine for Gene Selection in Cancer Classi?cation显示文摘It remains a great challenge to achieve suf?cient cancer classi?cation accuracy with the entire set of genes, due to the high dimensions, small sample size, and big noise of gene expression data. We thus proposed a hybrid gene selection method, Information Gain-Support Vector Machine(IG-SVM) in this study. IG was initially employed to ?lter irrelevant and redundant genes. Then,further removal of redundant genes was performed using SVM to eliminate the noise in the datasets more effectively. Finally, the informative genes selected by IG-SVM served as the input for the LIBSVM classi?er. Compared to other related algorithms, IG-SVM showed the highest classi?cation accuracy and superior performance as evaluated using ?ve cancer gene expression datasets based on a few selected genes. 12Biomass-derived hard carbon microtubes with tunable apertures for high-performance sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered the most up-and-coming complements for large-scale energy storage devices due to the abundance and cheap sodium.However,due to the bigger radius,it is still a great challenge to develop anode materials with suitable space for the intercalation of sodium ions.Herein,we present hard carbon microtubes(HCTs)with tunable apertures derived from low-cost natural kapok fibers via a carbonization process for SIBs.The resulted HCTs feature with smaller surface area and shorter Na+diffusion path benefitting from their unique micro-nano structure.Most importantly,the wall thickness of HCTs could be regulated and controlled by the carbonization temperature.At a high temperature of 1,600℃,the carbonized HCTs possess the smallest wall thickness,which reduces the diffusion barrier of Na+and enhances the reversibility Na+storage.As a result,the 1600HCTs deliver a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 90%,good cycling stability(89.4%of capacity retention over 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)),and excellent rate capacity.This work not only charts a new path for preparing hard carbon materials with adequate ion channels and novel tubular micro-nano structures but also unravels the mechanism of hard carbon materials for sodium storage.Pin Song Shiqiang Wei Jun Di Jun Du Wenjie Xu Daobin Liu Changda Wang Sicong Qiao Yuyang Cao Qilong Cui Pengjun Zhang Liaobo Ma Jiewu Cui Yan Wang Yujie Xiong 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:1
