| 3 | Serum LDH level may predict outcome of chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients with a 17p deletion: a retrospective analysis of prognostic factors in China显示文摘Objective:This study aims to evaluate the natural history of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia(CLL)and a 17p deletion(17p-)and identify the predictive factors within this subgroup.Methods:The sample of patients with CLL were analyzed by fluorescence in situ hybridization for deletions in chromosome bands 11q22,13q14 and 17p13;trisomy of bands 12q13;and translocation involving band 14q32.The data from 456 patients with or without a 17p-were retrospectively collected and analyzed.Results:The overall response rate(ORR)in patients with a 17p-was 56.9%,and patients with a high percentage of 17p-(defined as more than 25%of cells harbouring a 17p-)had a lower ORR.The median overall survival(OS)in patients with a 17p-was 78.0 months,which was significantly shorter than the OS in patients without this genetic abnormality(median 162.0 months,P<0.001).Within the subgroup with a 17p-,the progression-free survival was significantly shorter in patients at Binet stage B-C and patients with elevated lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),B symptoms,unmutated IGHV and a high percentage of 17p-.Conclusions:These results indicated that patients with a 17p-CLL have a variable prognosis that might be predicted using simple clinical and laboratory characteristics. | Heng Li Wenjie Xiong Huimin Liu Shuhua Yi Zhen Yu Wei Liu Rui Lyu Tingyu Wang Dehui Zou Zengjun Li Lugui Qiu | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017，29，2： | 6 |
| 4 | The combination of chidamide with the CHOEP regimen in previously untreated patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma: a prospective, multicenter, single arm, phase 1b/2 study显示文摘Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of the novel histone deacetylase inhibitor,chidamide,in combination with cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,etoposide,and prednisone(Chi-CHOEP)for untreated peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL).Methods:A prospective,multicenter,single arm,phase 1 b/2 study was conducted.A total of 128 patients with untreated PTCL(18–70 years of age)were enrolled between March 2016 and November 2019,and treated with up to 6 cycles with the Chi-CHOEP regimen.In the phase 1 b study,3 dose levels of chidamide were evaluated and the primary endpoint was determination of the maximumtolerated dose and recommended phase 2 dose(RP2 D).The primary endpoint of the phase 2 study was 2-year progression-free survival(PFS).Results:Fifteen patients were enrolled in the phase 1 b study and the RP2 D for chidamide was determined to be 20 mg,twice a week.A total of 113 patients were treated at the RP2 D in the phase 2 study,and the overall response rate was 60.2%,with a complete response rate of 40.7%.At a median follow-up of 36 months,the median PFS was 10.7 months,with 1-,2-,and 3-year PFS rates of 49.9%,38.0%,and 32.8%,respectively.The Chi-CHOEP regimen was well-tolerated,with grade 3/4 neutropenia occurring in approximately two-thirds of the patients.No unexpected adverse events(AEs)were reported and the observed AEs were manageable.Conclusions:This large cohort phase 1 b/2 study showed that Chi-CHOEP was well-tolerated with modest efficacy in previously untreated PTCL patients. | Wei Zhang Liping Su Lihong Liu Yuhuan Gao Quanshun Wang Hang Su Yuhuan Song Huilai Zhang Jing Shen Hongmei Jing Shuye Wang Xinan Cen Hui Liu Aichun Liu Zengjun Li Jianmin Luo Jianxia He Jingwen Wang O.A.O’Connor Daobin Zhou | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021，18，3： | 4 |
| 5 | Improved two-way satellite time and frequency transfer with Multi-GEO in BeiDou navigation system显示文摘Due to the limitation of Geostationary Earth Orbit(GEO)satellite resources,only very few TWSTFT links with parallel counterpart operating via diferent GEO satellites between two ground stations are available.There are 5 GEO satellites in BeiDou Navigation System,which enables an improved TWSTFT with Multi-GEO.Two algorithms are put forward to take the advantage of Multi-GEO links to improve the performance of time and frequency transfer respectively.The dynamic weight average algorithm based on a newly proposed dynamic time variance aiming at improving the performance of time transfer is shown to be able to reduce the dynamic time deviation of the two-way measurement result to 1/√N dynamic time deviation of the single link using N-GEO links,if each link has similar level of link noises.The algorithm of cancelling out the link noise Allan variances with 2-GEO links is expected to obtain the Allan variance of clock diference between two ground stations.The experiment results using 2-GEO links in BeiDou Navigation System show that the dynamic weight average algorithm can improve the dynamic time deviation of the two-way measurement to around 0.6 of that of the single link in an average concept.And the estimated Allan deviation of the clock diference using the algorithm for cancelling the noise Allan variances of both links can reach 7×10 12(τ0.65)for the averaging time 1–105s which is within the same order of magnitude as the estimated Allan deviation based on carrier Doppler measurement for the averaging time 10 s–104s,despite the noisy links with the Allan deviation follows 3×10 10(τ1). | YANG WenKe GONG Hang LIU ZengJun LI YuanLing SUN GuangFu | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014，57，2： | 4 |
| 6 | Utilization and quality assessment of digestive endoscopy in China:results from 5-year consecutive nationwide surveys显示文摘Background:Worldwide,the volume and availability of digestive endoscopy have undergone dramatic development in recent years,with increasing attention on quality assurance.We investigated the utilization and quality of digestive endoscopy in China from 2015 to 2019 and developed a quantitative quality evaluation tool for medical institutions.Methods:We invited all tertiary/secondary hospitals in Chinese mainland to participate in the survey annually.The questionnaires included the personnel,annual volume,and quality indicators of endoscopy.An endoscopy quality index(EQI)was developed based on recorded quality indicators using principal component analysis to determine the relative weight.Results:From 2015 to 2019,806,1412,2644,2468,and 2541 hospitals were respectively enrolled in this study.The average annual volume of endoscopy increased from 12,445 to 16,206(1.30-fold)and from 2938 to 4255(1.45-fold)in tertiary and secondary hospitals,respectively.The most obvious growth was observed in diagnostic colonoscopy(1.44-fold for all hospitals after standardization).The proportion of early cancer among all esophageal and gastric cancers during diagnostic esophagogastroduodenoscopy increased from 12.3%(55,210/448,861)to 17.7%(85,429/482,647)and from 11.4%(69,411/608,866)to 16.9%(107,192/634,235),respectively.The adenoma detection rate of diagnostic colonoscopy increased from 14.9%(2,118,123/14,215,592)to 19.3%(3,943,203/20,431,104).The EQI model included 12 quality indicators,incorporating 64.9%(7.792/12)of the total variance into one comprehensive index.According to the EQI measurements,the quality of endoscopy was higher in tertiary hospitals and hospitals in developed areas with higher volume or more endoscopists than that in other hospitals.Conclusions:Digestive endoscopy in China has developed considerably in recent years in terms of both volume and quality.The EQI is a promising tool to quantify the quality of endoscopy at different hospitals. | Lei Xin Ye Gao Zhiyuan Cheng Tianjiao Wang Han Lin Yanan Pang Chang Sun Zengjun Fu Zhaoshen Li Xudong Ma Luowei Wang | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022，135，16： | 3 |
| 7 | Aquaporin 4 expression and ultrastructure of the blood-brain barrier following cerebral contusion injury显示文摘This study aimed to investigate aquaporin 4 expression and the ultrastructure of the blood-brain barrier at 2-72 hours following cerebral contusion injury,and correlate these changes to the formation of brain edema.Results revealed that at 2 hours after cerebral contusion and laceration injury,aquaporin 4 expression significantly increased,brain water content and blood-brain barrier permeability increased,and the number of pinocytotic vesicles in cerebral microvascular endothelial cells increased.In addition,the mitochondrial accumulation was observed.As contusion and laceration injury became aggravated,aquaporin 4 expression continued to increase,brain water content and blood-brain barrier permeability gradually increased,brain capillary endothelial cells and astrocytes swelled,and capillary basement membrane injury gradually increased.The above changes were most apparent at 12 hours after injury,after which they gradually attenuated.Aquaporin 4 expression positively correlated with brain water content and the blood-brain barrier index.Our experimental findings indicate that increasing aquaporin 4 expression and blood-brain barrier permeability after cerebral contusion and laceration injury in humans is involved in the formation of brain edema. | Xinjun Li Yangyun Han Hong Xu Zhongshu Sun Zengjun Zhou Xiaodong Long Yumin Yang Linbo Zou | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013，8，4： | 2 |

| 9 | Elimination of the yellow pigment gene PSY-E2 tightly linked to the Fusarium head blight resistance gene Fhb7 from Thinopyrum ponticum显示文摘Fhb7 is a major gene that was transferred from Thinopyrum ponticum to chromosome 7D of wheat(Triticum aestivum)and confers resistance to both Fusarium head blight(FHB)and Fusarium crown rot(FCR).However,Fhb7 is tightly linked to the PSY-E2 gene,which causes yellow flour,limiting its application in breeding.To break this linkage,marker K-PSY was developed for tagging PSY-E2 and used with Fhb7 markers to identify recombination between the two genes.Screening 21,000 BC1F2 backcross progeny(Chinese Spring ph1bph1b*2/SDAU 2028)revealed two Fhb7^(+)wheat-Tp7el_(2)L lines,Shannong 2–16and Shannong 16–1,that carry a desired truncated Fhb7^(+)translocation segment without PSY-E2.The two lines show levels of resistance to FHB and FCR similar to those of the original translocation line SDAU 2028,but have white flour.To facilitate Fhb7 use in wheat breeding,STS markers were developed and used to isolate Fhb7 on a truncated Tp7el_(2) translocation segment.Near-isogenic lines carrying the Fhb7^(+)segment were generated in the backgrounds of three commercial cultivars,and Fhb7^(+)lines showed increased FHB and FCR resistance without yield penalty.The breakage of the tight linkage between Fhb7 and PSY-E2 via homoeologous recombination provides genetic resources for improvement of wheat resistance to FHB and FCR and permit the large-scale deployment of Fhb7 in breeding using marker-assisted selection. | Xuefeng Li Dong Li Yu Xuan Ziming He Lanfei Zhao Yongchao Hao Wenyang Ge Shoushen Xu Bingqian Hou Biao Wang Jun Guo Wenwen Liu Mingzhu Li Yi Han Cunyao Bo Yinguang Bao Zengjun Qi Steven S.Xu Guihua Bai Hongwei Wang Lingrang Kong | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023，11，3： | 0 |
| 10 | Real-world effectiveness and safety of goserelin 10.8-mg depot in Chinese patients with localized or locally advanced prostate cancer显示文摘Objective:Real-word data on long-acting luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone(LHRH)agonists in Chinese patients with prostate cancer are limited.This study aimed to determine the real-world effectiveness and safety of the LHRH agonist,goserelin,particularly the long-acting 10.8-mg depot formulation,and the follow-up patterns among Chinese prostate cancer patients.Methods:This was a multicenter,prospective,observational study in hormone treatment-na?ve patients with localized or locally advanced prostate cancer who were prescribed goserelin 10.8-mg depot every 12 weeks or 3.6-mg depot every 4 weeks with or without an anti-androgen.The patients had follow-up evaluations for 26 weeks.The primary outcome was the effectiveness of goserelin in reducing serum testosterone and prostate-specific antigen(PSA)levels.The secondary outcomes included testosterone and PSA levels,attainment of chemical castration(serum testosterone<50 ng/d L),and goserelin safety.The exploratory outcome was the monitoring pattern for serum testosterone and PSA.All analyses were descriptive.Results:Between September 2017 and December 2019,a total of 294 eligible patients received≥1 dose of goserelin;287 patients(97.6%)were treated with goserelin 10.8-mg depot.At week 24±2,the changes from baseline[standard deviation(95%confidence interval)]in serum testosterone(n=99)and PSA(n=131)were-401.0 ng/d L[308.4 ng/d L(-462.5,-339.5 ng/d L)]and-35.4 ng/m L[104.4 ng/m L(-53.5,-17.4 ng/m L)],respectively.Of 112 evaluable patients,100(90.2%)achieved a serum testosterone level<50 ng/d L.Treatment-emergent adverse events(TEAEs)and severe TEAEs occurred in 37.1%and 10.2%of patients,respectively.The mean testing frequency(standard deviation)was 1.6(1.5)for testosterone and 2.2(1.6)for PSA.Conclusions:Goserelin 10.8-mg depot effectively achieved and maintained castration and was well-tolerated in Chinese patients with localized and locally advanced prostate cancer. | Nanhui Chen Zengjun Wang Ming Chen Qi Ma Yi He Yujie Wang Xin Li Mingxing Qiu Lei Shi Shaoxing Zhu Qun Xie Xiuheng Liu Benkang Shi Guowen Lin Weizhong Yang Yongbin Liao Haibin Zhang Shusheng Wang Jiexian Li Shaogang Wang Lijun Dong Hui Chen Jiaju Lu YongyiCheng Xiaoping Zhang Lulin Ma Liqun Zhou He Wang Shen Li Dingwei Ye | 2023 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2023，20，12： | 0 |
