| 1 | Vision,application scenarios,and key technology trends for 6G mobile communications显示文摘With the global commercialization of the fifth-generation(5G)network,many countries,including China,USA,European countries,Japan,and Korea,have started exploring 6G mobile communication network,following the tradition of“planning the next while commercializing one generation”.Currently,studies on 6G networks are at the infancy stage.Research on the vision and requirements for 6G is still ongoing,and the industry is yet to clarify the key enabling technologies for 6G.However,6G will certainly build on the success of 5G.Therefore,developing high-quality 5G networks and seamlessly integrating 5G with verticals are the priorities before 2030,when 6G is projected to be commercialized.Also,global 5G standards will keep evolving to better support vertical applications.As a milestone,the Third-Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)published Release 16 in July 2020,which continuously enhanced the capabilities of mobile broadband service based on Release 15 and realized the support for low-delay and high-reliability applications,such as Internet of Vehicles and industrial Internet.Currently,3GPP is working on Releases 17 and 18,focusing on meeting the demands of medium-and high-data-rate machine communication with low-cost and high-precision positioning,which will be published in June 2022.Thus,6G networks will further expand the application fields and scope of the Internet of Things to accommodate those services and applications that are beyond the capabilities of 5G networks.Herein,we present our vision,application scenarios,and key technological trends for 6G networks.Furthermore,we propose several future research opportunities in 6G networks with regard to industrialization and standardization. | Zhiqin WANG Ying DU Kejun WEI Kaifeng HAN Xiaoyan XU Guiming WEI Wen TONG Peiying ZHU Jianglei MA Jun WANG Guangjian WANG Xueqiang YAN Jiying XIANG He HUANG Ruyue LI Xinhui WANG Yingmin WANG Shaohui SUN Shiqiang SUO Qiubin GAO Xin SU | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,5: | 17 |
| 2 | Herbal formula of Bushen Jianpi(补肾健脾方)combined with sorafenib inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma growth by promoting cell apoptosis and blocking the cell cycle显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of an herbal formula of Bushen Jianpi(补肾健脾方,BSJP)combined with sorafenib on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)in vitro and in vivo,and to study the underlying mechanisms of action.METHODS:BSJP,a mixture of 12 raw herbs,was extracted in 70%alcohol/30%water and freeze-dried into a powder.The in vitro effects of BSJP alone,sorafenib alone,and their combination on cell survival,apoptosis,and cell cycle distribution were evaluated in HCC cell lines HCCLM3,HepG2,and SMMC-7721.The expression of B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),caspase-3,and caspase-9 in HCCLM3 cells was measured using Western blots after drug administration.The in vivo effects of BSJP and sorafenib were evaluated in a tumor surgical resection model using 4-week old male athymic BALB/c nude mice injected with HCCLM3 cells.Immunohistochemical analysis of tumor tissues was performed to evaluate the effects of BSJP alone,sorafenib alone,and their combination on the expression of caspase-3,caspase-9,and Bcl-2.RESULTS:BSJP decreased the survival rate of HCC cell lines,and the combination of BSJP and sorafenib further decreased the survival rate.BSJP significantly promoted cell apoptosis and blocked cell-cycle progression in HCCLM3,HepG2,and SMMC-7721 cells in a dose-dependent manner.Furthermore,the administration of BSJP and sorafenib inhibited the growth of HCCLM3 cell xenografts in nude mice,with no reduction in body weight.In vivo and in vitro experiments showed that BSJP combined with sorafenib could significantly decrease the expression of Bcl-2.CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that the herbal formula of BSJP is a potential HCC antitumor agent. | ZHOU Zhangjie LIU Xinhua WU Tingting QUE Zujue WU Zhonghua WU Weizhong FU Shujuan ZHANG Shiqiang YANG Yun JIANG Haiyan XIA Xiaoting LV Junqiang DU Boqian LI Yun LU Tao ZHANG Zhihui ZHONG Yi | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,2: | 3 |

| 5 | Biomass-derived hard carbon microtubes with tunable apertures for high-performance sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are considered the most up-and-coming complements for large-scale energy storage devices due to the abundance and cheap sodium.However,due to the bigger radius,it is still a great challenge to develop anode materials with suitable space for the intercalation of sodium ions.Herein,we present hard carbon microtubes(HCTs)with tunable apertures derived from low-cost natural kapok fibers via a carbonization process for SIBs.The resulted HCTs feature with smaller surface area and shorter Na+diffusion path benefitting from their unique micro-nano structure.Most importantly,the wall thickness of HCTs could be regulated and controlled by the carbonization temperature.At a high temperature of 1,600℃,the carbonized HCTs possess the smallest wall thickness,which reduces the diffusion barrier of Na+and enhances the reversibility Na+storage.As a result,the 1600HCTs deliver a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 90%,good cycling stability(89.4%of capacity retention over 100 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)),and excellent rate capacity.This work not only charts a new path for preparing hard carbon materials with adequate ion channels and novel tubular micro-nano structures but also unravels the mechanism of hard carbon materials for sodium storage. | Pin Song Shiqiang Wei Jun Di Jun Du Wenjie Xu Daobin Liu Changda Wang Sicong Qiao Yuyang Cao Qilong Cui Pengjun Zhang Liaobo Ma Jiewu Cui Yan Wang Yujie Xiong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 1 |

| 7 | Chinese Built-up Land in Floodplains Moving Closer to Freshwaters显示文摘Human proximity to water and its dynamics are important to understanding the socio-hydrological dilemma between using floodplains and avoiding flood risk.However,previous studies have not distinguished between the water proximity of built-up land in floodplains(BLF)and the water proximity of built-up land outside floodplains(BLOF).This article provides a new and spatiotemporal perspective of the BLF water proximities for understanding the changing flood risk in China.The results show that China’s BLFs had an average water proximity of 5.41 km in 2014.Most of the BLFs(62%,25.889103 km2)were located within 3 km of waterbodies.From 1990 to 2014,China’s BLFs increased rapidly by 81%from23.069103 km2 to 41.749103 km2,of which a large portion(57%)was concentrated in water surroundings(≤km),shortening the distance between BLFs and waterbodies by 169 m.The BLF growth concentrated in water surroundings even in areas where BLFs have an overall increasing distance from waterbodies.Both the increases in the BLFs and their proximity to waterbodies can increase flood exposure and exacerbate flood risk.The scientific community and policymakers should pay attention not only to the volume of BLF growth,but also its spatial relationship with waterbodies. | Yongqiang Fang Shiqiang Du Jiahong Wen Min Zhang Jiayi Fang Min Liu | 2021 | International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2021,12,3: | 0 |
