1Hierarchical Porous RGO/PEDOT/PANI Hybrid for Planar/Linear Supercapacitor with Outstanding Flexibility and Stability显示文摘Many hybrid electrodes for supercapacitors(SCs)are a reckless combination without proper structural design that keeps them from fulfilling their potential.Herein,we design a reduced graphene oxide/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polyaniline(RGO/PEDOT/PANI)hybrid with hierarchical and porous structure for high-performance SCs,where components fully harness their advantages,forming an interconnected and conductive framework with substantial reactive sites.Thus,this hybrid achieves a high capacitance of 535 F g^−1 along with good rate capability and cyclability.The planar SC based on this hybrid deliver an energy density of 26.89 Wh kg^−1 at a power density of 800 W kg^−1.The linear SC developed via modifying a cotton yarn with the hybrid exhibits good flexibility and structural stability,which operates normally after arbitrary deformations.This work provides a beneficial reference for developing SCs.Fuwei Liu Luoyuan Xie Li Wang Wei Chen Wei Wei Xian Chen Shaojuan Luo Lei Dong Qilin Dai Yang Huang Lei Wang 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,2:5
2Biomimetic fluorapatite films for conservation of historic calcareous stones显示文摘Fluorapatite protective films were prepared on marble substrates using a biomimetic method. By mimicking the mineralization mechanism of enamel, phosphorus and fluorine were introduced on the surface of the marble substrate. In the presence of a biological template, namely collagen, an integrated fluorapatite film was produced and the marble substrate was entirely covered. The prepared fluorapatite films were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy. The performances of the fluorapatite films were evaluated by color changes, capillary water absorption, and acid resistance tests. The results revealed that the fluorapatite films had good compatibility with the marble substrate; the physical properties such as color and capillary water adsorption of the marble substrates were unchanged. 5Defective TiO_(2)-graphene heterostructures enabling in-situ electrocatalyst evolution for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries are considered as one of the promising next-generation energy storage systems because of their high energy density. While the low utilization of sulfur and sluggish reaction kinetics would lead to degradation of electrochemical performance and thus hinder the practical application of Li-S batteries. Herein, a double-shelled TiO_(2)-graphene heterostructure (H-TiO_(2)/rGO) with abundant oxygen vacancies (OVs) and highly exposed active plane as advanced host material in Li-S batteries is designed. This rational structure not only provides sufficient active sites and lower bandgap for lithium polysulfides (LiPSs), but also builds smooth adsorption-diffusion-conversion of LiPSs on catalyst, which greatly reduces interfacial energy barrier and promotes the utilization of sulfur through suppressing the devastating shuttling effect. Combining the synergetic merits of strong anchoring ability and catalyzing the of LiPSs, the electrode (S-TiO_(2)/rGO-1) exhibits superior rate performance and long lifespan (1000 cycles at 1C, 0.023% capacity loss per cycle) with high columbic efficiency. 7Conservation of weathered historic sandstone with biomimetic apatite显示文摘The conservation of weathered historic sandstone with apatite was studied.Based on the growth mechanism of bone,calcium and phosphorus were introduced into weathered sandstone and then mineralized at room temperature.The conservation efficiency was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),selected area electron diffraction(SAED),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and compressive strength,capillary water uptake,water vapor permeability and weather resistance tests.The SEM,EDX,TEM,SAED and XRD results showed that the produced hydroxyapatite could reunite the weathered stone blocks and provide sufficient reinforcement to hold them together.The results of the various tests indicated that the compressive strength and weather resistance of the treated samples was improved significantly.In addition,because of the porous nature of apatite,the water vapor permeability of the treated stone was not affected and its breathability was maintained.YANG FuWei LIU Yan ZHU YuanCheng LONG ShiJia ZUO GuoFang WANG ChangQing GUO Feng ZHANG BingJian JIANG SiWei 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17:1

9Graphene stirrer with designed movements:Targeting on environmental remediation and supercapacitor applications显示文摘Beyond the traditional focus on improvements in mechanical, electronic and absorption properties, controllability, actuation, and dynamic response of monoliths have received increasing attentions for practical applications. However, most of them could only realize simple response to constant conditions(e.g. a stationary magnetic field) while carrying out humdrum motions. By controlling distribution of metal organic framework obtained carbon-enriched Fe304 nanoparticles in self-assembly reduced graphene oxide(RGO) monoliths, we could achieve two distinctive RGO-Fe_3 O_4 stirrers that could dynamically respond to the rapidly changing magnetic field while executing designed movements precisely: rotating with lying down posture or standing straight posture. 10Preparation,Structure,and Properties of Polyurethane Foams Modified by Nanoscale Titanium Dioxide with Three Different Dimensions显示文摘TiO2-based nanosheets (TiNSs), TiO2-based nanotubes (TiNTs) were prepared by hydrothermal processing, and polyurethane foams with TiO2 nanopowders (P25), TiNSs and TiNTs were synthesized by free-rising foaming method. The Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra show that the addition of titanium dioxide does not affect the chemical structure of polyurethane foam. However, microscope observations show that PU/TiNSs composite foams have more uniform cells and the average aperture smaller than that of pure poly-urethane foams. According to the results of thermal analysis, the PU/TiNSs composite foams have better thermal stability, the temperature of decompostion occurring with a maximum weight loss rate is about 30 ℃ higher than that of pure PU foams. The decompostion temperatures are 167 ℃ and 148 ℃ for the PU/P25 composite foams and the PU/TiNTs composite foams respectively, which are lower than that of pure PU foams. Moreover, with the addition of the fillers, the sound absorption property also has changed; the addition of TiNSs improved the sound absorbing property efficiently. 12A new method to prepare calcium oxalate films for marble protection显示文摘Artificial calcium oxalate films have been applied to protect sculptures,monuments,and buildings made of marble due to their potential protective capacities.Unfortunately,artificially prepared calcium oxalate films are usually loose,and easy to peel off in contrast to the natural ones.In this paper,a new method was developed for the preparation of a compact and cohesive calcium oxalate film,using ethylene glycol as an additive.The morphology,elemental composition,structure,and crystal phase of the film were analyzed by SEM,EDX,IR,and XRD,and the protective effects were investigated by acid resistance test,while its adhesion to the underlying marble by the Scotch tape test.The porosity,water absorption,and color of treated marble were also assessed.The results showed that a calcium oxalate film with a compact structure,good adhesion,and a protective effect against acid rain can be successfully obtained by including ethylene glycol as an additive.With the new preparation method,a better bond between the stone and the film is obtained which contributes to solving the spalling problem of the artificial calcium oxalate films.HE Lu JIANG YiJie MA WenTing LIU Yan YANG FuWei LU RuiCong WANG Lu ZHANG Kun CHEN XinNan GAO Xiang 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,8:0
13Preparation,Structure,and Properties of Flexible Polyurethane Foams Filled with Fumed Silica显示文摘Flexible polyurethane (PU) foams with different load-ing mass fraction (0%-2.0%) of fumed silica were synthesized by free-rising foaming method. The addition of 1.4% fumed silica makes the cells diffuse more uniform in the PU foam and the temperature of degradation occurring with a maximum weight loss rate is about 7℃ higher than that of pure PU foam. Most signifi-cantly,the sound absorption peaks of the filled PU foams shift to the low frequency region (from 997 Hz to 711 Hz) with increasing fumed silica content (0%-2.0%). The average sound absorption coefficients of filled PU foams increase except the content of 0.35% fumed silica. 15Injectable hybrid inorganic nanoscaffold as rapid stem cell assembly template for cartilage repair显示文摘Cartilage injuries are o?ten devastating and most cannot be cured because of the intrinsically low regenerative capacity of cartilage tissues. Although stem-cell therapy has shown enormous potential for cartilage repair, the therapeutic outcome has been restricted by low survival rates and poor chondrocyte differentiation in vivo. Here, we report an injectable hybrid inorganic(IHI) nanoscaffold that facilitates fast assembly, enhances survival and regulates chondrogenic differentiation of stem cells. IHI nanoscaffolds that strongly bind to extracellular matrix(ECM) proteins assemble stem cells through synergistic 3 D cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, creating a favorable physical microenvironment for stem-cell survival and differentiation in vitro and in vivo. Additionally, chondrogenic factors can be loaded into nanoscaffolds with a high capacity, which allows deep, homogenous drug delivery into assembled 3 D stem-cell-derived tissues for effective control over the soluble microenvironment of stem cells. The developed IHI nanoscaffolds that assemble with stem cells are injectable. They also scavenge reactive oxygen species and timely biodegrade for proper integration into injured cartilage tissues. Implantation of stem-cell-assembled IHI nanoscaffolds into injured cartilage results in accelerated tissue regeneration and functional recovery. 16Floating plants reduced methane fluxes from wetlands by creating a habitat conducive to methane oxidation显示文摘Wetlands are one of the important natural sources of atmospheric methane (CH_4),as an important part of wetlands,floating plants can be expected to affect methane release.However,the effects of floating plants on methane release are limited.In this study,methane fluxes,physiochemical properties of the overlying water,methane oxidation potential and rhizospheric bacterial community were investigated in simulated wetlands with floating plants Eichhornia crassipes,Hydrocharis dubia,and Trapa natans.We found that E.crassipes,H.dubia,and T.natans plants could inhibit 84.31%-97.31%,4.98%-88.91%and 43.62%-92.51%of methane fluxes at interface of water-atmosphere compared to Control,respectively.Methane fluxes were negatively related to nutrients concentration in water column but positively related to the aerenchyma proportions of roots,stems,and leaves.At the same biomass,root of E.crassipes (36.44%) had the highest methane oxidation potential,followed by H.dubia (12.99%) and T.natans (11.23%).Forty-five bacterial phyla in total were identified on roots of three plants and 7 bacterial genera (2.10%-3.33%) were known methanotrophs.Type I methanotrophs accounted for 95.07%of total methanotrophs.The pmoA gene abundances ranged from 1.90×10^(16)to 2.30×10^(18)copies/g fresh weight of root biofilms.Abundances of pmoA gene was significantly positively correlated with environmental parameters.Methylotrophy (5.40%) and methanotrophy (3.75%) function were closely related to methane oxidation.This study highlights that floating plant restoration can purify water and promote carbon neutrality partially by reducing methane fluxes through methane oxidation in wetlands.Fuwei Wang Songhe Zhang Xiuren Hu Xin Lv Min Liu Yu Ma Benjamin Manirakiza 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,1:0
17Study on Flow Field Simulation at Transmission Towers in Loess Hilly Regions Based on Circular Boundary Constraints显示文摘When using high-voltage transmission lines for energy transmission in loess hilly regions,local extreme wind fields such as turbulence and high-speed cyclones occur from time to time,which can cause many kinds of mechanical and electrical failures,seriously affecting the reliable and stable energy transmission of the power grid.The existing research focuses on the wind field simulation of ideal micro-terrain and actual terrain with mostly single microterrain characteristics.Model boundary constraints and the influence of constrained boundaries are the main problems that need to be solved to accurately model and simulate complex flow fields.In this paper,a flow field simulation method based on circular boundary constraints is carried out.During the study,the influence of the model boundary and the selection conditions of themodeling range are systematically analyzed.It is more suitable to make sure that the air domain is 4 times higher than the height of the hill undulations,in addition to ensuring that there should be a minimum of 400 m between the study region and the boundary.Then,an actual terrain model of a power grid line in Shanxi is established,through the method proposed in this paper,the wind speed at the location of the transmission tower line under different wind directions is analyzed,and it is found that when the incidence direction is 45 degrees north by east the wind speed is the highest.The findings demonstrate that the circular boundary model has the advantage of more easily adjusting the wind incidence direction,in addition to theoretically reducing the errors caused by traditional models in boundary processing.It can accurately obtain the distribution characteristics of the flow field affected by the terrain,and quickly screen out the extreme working conditions that are most harmful to the transmission lines in the actual transmission line for energy transmission in complex loess hilly regions.Yongxin Liu Huaiwei Cao Puyu Zhao Gang Yang Hua Yu Fuwei He Bo He 2023Energy Engineering2023,120,10:0

19CuInS_(2)/TiO_(2) heterojunction with elevated photo-electrochemical performance for cathodic protection显示文摘Semiconductor quantum dots with high quantum yield and photovoltaic conversion efficiency have ushered in a brilliant moment for constructing internal electric field heterojunctions for photogenerated cathodic protection applications.In this paper,TiO_(2)nanotubes grown vertically on the surface of titanium substrates were modified via a combination of conventional electrochemical oxidation and a one-step solvothermal pathway to sensitize with CuInS_(2)quantum dots.Compared with pure TiO_(2)photoelectrodes,the modification improves sunlight absorption efficiency and provides photoelectron cathodic protection to the 304 stainless steel(304 SS).Through 9 h solvothermal reaction,the CuInS_(2)/TiO_(2)coupled with protected 304 SS exhibited an excellent property when the simulated sunlight irradiation.Its mixed open circuit potential is negatively shifted to-0.99 V,at the mean time with a stable photocurrent density(118μA cm^(-2)).The results indicate that CuInS_(2)and TiO_(2)established a p-n heterojunction with wellmatched energy level,which can effectively facilitate the carrier separation and retain the strong redox capbility of photo-induced electrons and holes.Juan Liu Ning Wang Fuwei Zheng Chuanxing Wang Jing Wang Baorong Hou Qianyu Zhao Yanli Ning Yiteng Hu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,27:0
20Immunomodulation and osteointegration of infected implants by ion-riched and hierarchical porous TiO_(2)matrix显示文摘Infection is a main cause of implant failure.The microenvironment cell experiencing after antimicrobial therapy of infected implants is very crucial for immunomodulation and subsequent osteointegration.Based on the superiority of photothermal therapy in anti-infection,a matrix of nanograined TiO_(2)with(Si/P)-dual ions and hierarchical nano/microporous topography is developed on Ti implant by micro-arc oxidation.It shows good photothermal properties due to the lattice distortion induced by ion doping and can kill bacteria with near-infrared(NIR)light irradiation efficiently.Due to the combined action of porous topography and release of Si/P ions,the TiO_(2)matrix achieves M1-to-M_(2)phenotype switch of macrophages timely at different simulating infection stage and accelerates recruitment,proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)in vitro.In vivo,the TiO_(2)matrix also shows desired antibacterial performance after photothermal therapy and exhibits outstanding immunomodulatory ability and new bone formation efficiency.This study provides a promising TiO_(2)matrix applied in clinic for settling implant infection by NIR light irradiation and promoting bone regeneration through osteoimmunomodulation.Yang Xue Lan Zhang Fuwei Liu Liang Kong Yong Han 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
