| 13 | 取代机电陀螺的光纤速率陀螺显示文摘在新的设计领域和业已存在的应用当中,光纤陀螺正开始取代机电陀螺。由于具有较高的可靠性、对'g'不敏感以及良好的抗冲击和震动等特性,在运动物体和军事技术应用中光纤陀螺将甚为理想。和激光陀螺一样基于SAGNAC效应的光纤陀螺(FOG)自首次报道至今已有20年了。光纤陀螺有闭环和开环两种结构,但由于前者成本高,当前只有开环结构的光纤陀螺用来取代机电速率陀螺。基于全光纤概念,用缠绕于椭圆柱体的光纤环、耦合器和偏振器,我们已成功地开发了一系列低成本的光纤陀螺。在'最小结构'的开环FOGs中,激光可以互易地从相反的两个方向通过光纤环。这种陀螺的早期版本借助一方向性耦合器来分离激光源和光电探测器,用一个偏振器来确保激光的单模态传播,并由另一个耦合器充当光纤环线圈界面。处在线圈另一端的压电相位调制器进行光调制以进行干涉输出的同步检测。源探测耦合器不是最小结构的一部分,利用安装在激光源背面的光电检测器可省去这个耦合器。很多激光器中配有这种探测器以便监视功率输出,但由于陀螺敏感信号被调制,因此该信号能容易地从稳态的激光信号中分离出来。我们定义这种陀螺为'简化最小结构'(RMC),比较以上两种开环结构可看出两者之间基本没有差异。但是从定量的角度来讲,在RMC结构中的激光稍微更接近于门限,而这样会使光谱变窄。由于宽光谱能很好地避免由偏振游走引起的零漂不稳定性,因此RMC光路结构难以应用于高精度陀螺中,对于某些具体的应用来说,可通过选择光纤长度、线圈直径以及激光功率而不显著改变结构的其他方面来优化光纤陀螺的性能。光纤陀螺本质上是宽带的,可通过简易的模拟滤波器来控制输出谱特征,扩展伺服回路的动态性能。与类似的机电陀螺相比,宽带特征扩展到低频可提高光纤陀螺的指向精度。我们已生产了一千多套以上两种结构的光纤陀螺,本文提供的数据包括Allan方差,零漂一温度曲线,标度因子-温度曲线以及标度因子线性度曲线。典型的性能指标如下:SAGNAC干涉仪的灵敏度取决于光纤的长度和光纤环直径的乘积,因而物理尺寸大,敏感轴又与光纤环垂直,这两个外形特点使其难以满足各种各样的应用。在要求不是很苛刻的条件下,FOG正成为一种能广泛应用于各种系统的陀螺技术。 | S.M.Bennett R.Dyott D.Allen 袁利 | 2000 | 控制工程(北京)2000,,4: | 0 |
