| 1 | 2D materials via liquid exfoliation:a review on fabrication and applications显示文摘Since graphene was discovered, the study of two-dimensional(2D) materials with atomic thickness has become a hot spot. To prepare different 2D materials,different methods have been groped, such as mechanical exfoliation, chemical vapor deposition(CVD), liquid-phase exfoliation. This review mainly introduced the sonication liquid-phase exfoliation, an effective method to prepare 2D materials. Compared with mechanical exfoliation and CVD methods, liquid-phase exfoliation is convenient and costeffective and provides high yield. We focused on both theoretical and experimental details of this method. | 3 | MiRNA-429 suppresses the growth of gastric cancer cells in vitro显示文摘Micro-RNAs(miRNAs) have been found to be implicated in a very wide range of physiological processes.This study was aimed to investigate the regulation of miRNA-429(miR-429) in gastric cancer cells on cell proliferation and apoptosis.Quantitative PCR was employed to detect the expressions of miR-429 after eukaryotic expression plasmid of miR-429 and its inhibitor were transiently transfected into poorly differentiated human gastric can-cer cell line BGC823.The 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) reduction as-says were used to examine proliferation ability.Apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry after transfection.The results showed that 48 h after transfection,overexpression of miR-429 reached maximum efficiency.Compared with mock transfection,miR-429 inhibited tumor cell proliferation significantly(P < 0.05) at 48 h and 72 h.of Overexpression of miR-429 promoted tumor cell apoptosis when compared with mock transfected cells(P < 0.05).On the contrary,miR-429 inhibitor promoted tumor cell proliferation and inhibited apoptosis when compared with controls(P < 0.05).Our results suggested that miRNA-429 may serve as a tumor suppressor during tumorigenesis of gastric cancer and may be a potential gastric cancer therapeutic target. | Di Liu Peng Xia Dongmei Diao Yao Cheng Hao Zhang Dawei Yuan Chen Huang Chengxue Dang | 2012 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,5: | 12 |

| 5 | Optimized design and performance evaluation of an electric cup-chain potato metering device显示文摘The cup-chain metering device is commonly used in potato planters despite its problems of missing-seeding,double-seeding and ground wheel sliding.A mechanical-electrical design was developed for planters to resolve these problems.A regression experiment was conducted with three factors(chain speed,chain tightening distance and cup tilting)and two indicators(missing-seeding rate and double-seeding rate).Based on the results of regression experiment,a numerical regression model was built and a multi-objective optimization method was used to get an optimal solution.Subsequently,the optimized device was tested in the field.The device design presents a tilting seed cup with a guard plate and an electric control system.The laboratory test showed that the missing-seeding rate increased with the chain speed.It initially decreases and then increases with the chain tightening distance and cup tilting angle.The double-seeding rate declines with chain speed.It increases initially and declines afterward with the chain tightening distance.The optimization resulted in a missing-seeding rate of 4.39%and a double-seeding rate of 8.78%under the parameters of 0.32 m/s seeding speed,0.94×10-3 m tightening distance,and 12.5°cup tilting angle.The field test demonstrated that electric control instead of ground wheel-driven chain enables fast seeding and precise intra-row seeding distance. | Niu Kang Fang Xianfa Liu Yangchun Lü Chengxu Yuan Yanwei | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2: | 5 |
| 6 | Therapeutic potential of colchicine in cardiovascular medicine:a pharmacological review显示文摘Colchicine is an ancient herbal drug derived from Colchicum autumnale.It was first used to treat familial Mediterranean fever and gout.Based on its unique efficacy as an anti-inflammatory agent,colchicine has been used in the therapy of cardiovascular diseases including coronary artery disease,atherosclerosis,recurrent pericarditis,vascular restenosis,heart failure,and myocardial infarction.More recently,colchicine has also shown therapeutic efficacy in alleviating cardiovascular complications of COVID-19.COLCOT and LoDoCo2 are two milestone clinical trials that confirm the curative effect of long-term administration of colchicine in reducing the incidence of cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease.There is growing interest in studying the anti-inflammatory mechanisms of colchicine.The anti-inflammatory action of colchicine is mediated mainly through inhibiting the assembly of microtubules.At the cellular level,colchicine inhibits the following:(1)endothelial cell dysfunction and inflammation;(2)smooth muscle cell proliferation and migration;(3)macrophage chemotaxis,migration,and adhesion;(4)platelet activation.At the molecular level,colchicine reduces proinflammatory cytokine release and inhibits NF-κB signaling and NLRP3 inflammasome activation.In this review,we summarize the current clinical trials with proven curative effect of colchicine in treating cardiovascular diseases.We also systematically discuss the mechanisms of colchicine action in cardiovascular therapeutics.Altogether,colchicine,a bioactive constituent from an ancient medicinal herb,exerts unique anti-inflammatory effects and prominent cardiovascular actions,and will charter a new page in cardiovascular medicine. | Fan-shun Zhang Qing-ze He Chengxue Helena Qin Peter JLittle Jian-ping Weng Suo-wen Xu | 2022 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,9: | 5 |

| 8 | Trp_(548)Met mutation of acetolactate synthase in rice confers resistance to a broad spectrum of ALS-inhibiting herbicides显示文摘Herbicide resistance in crop plants is valuable for integrated weed management in agriculture. Herbicide resistant rice, in particular, is important to management of weedy rice, a close relative of cultivated rice and a noxious weed prevalent in rice fields that remains challenging to farmers worldwide. Herbicide resistant plants can be obtained through transgenic approach or by mutagenesis of regular plant and screening of mutants with elevated resistance to herbicide. In this study, we conducted ethyl methyl sulfonate mutagenesis(EMS) to elite indica cultivar Huanghuazhan(HHZ) and screened for mutants resistant to imazapic, a herbicide that can inhibit the acetolactate synthase(ALS) in plants. We obtained three mutants of Os ALS gene that have not been reported previously in rice. One of the mutants, with Trp_(548) changed to Met(W_(548)M), was analyzed in more details in this study. This mutation had no negative effect on the plant physiology and morphology as well as rice yield. Compared with the imidazolinone-resistant mutant S_(627)N(Ser_(627) changed to Asn) that has been deployed for Clearfield rice development, W_(548)M mutant showed high levels of resistance to a broad spectrum of five families of ALSinhibiting herbicides, in addition to a higher level of resistance to herbicides of the imidazolinone family.The herbicide-resistance was stably inherited by crossing into other rice lines. | 11 | Deficiency of two-pore segment channel 2 contributes to systemic lupus erythematosus via regulation of apoptosis and cell cycle显示文摘Background:Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a complex autoimmune disease,and the mechanism of SLE is yet to be fully elucidated.The aim of this study was to explore the role of two-pore segment channel 2(TPCN2)in SLE pathogenesis.Methods:Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was used to detect the expression ofTPCN2 in SLE.We performed a loss-of-function assay by lentiviral construct in Jurkat and THP-1 cell.Knockdown ofTPCN2 were confirmed at the RNA level by qRT-PCR and protein level by Western blotting.Cell Count Kit-8 and flow cytometry were used to analyze the cell proliferation,apoptosis,and cell cycle ofTPCN2-deficient cells.In addition,gene expression profile ofTPCN2-deficient cells was analyzed by RNA sequencing(RNA-seq).Results:TPCN2 knockdown with short hairpin RNA(shRNA)-mediated lentiviruses inhibited cell proliferation,and induced apoptosis and cell-cycle arrest of G2/M phase in both Jurkat and THP-1 cells.We analyzed the transcriptome of knockdown-TPCN2-Jurkat cells,and screened the differential genes,which were enriched for the G2/M checkpoint,complement,and interleukin-6-Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription pathways,as well as changes in levels of forkhead box O,phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mechanistic target of rapamycin,and T cell receptor pathways;moreover,TPCN2 significantly influenced cellular processes and biological regulation.Conclusion:TPCN2 might be a potential protective factor against SLE. | Keke Li Jingkai Xu Ke Xue Ruixing Yu Chengxu Li Wenmin Fei Xiaoli Ning Yang Han Ziyi Wang Jun Shu Yong Cui | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,4: | 2 |

| 20 | Recrystallization nucleation under close-setδphase in a nickel-based superalloy during annealing显示文摘Annealing is one of the most efficient heat treatment to refine the grain microstructure in metal alloys.Prior to the annealing,an aging treatment can be implemented to precipitate the second phases for more nucleation sites in deformed mixed grains during subsequent recrystallization.However,the underlying mechanism behind the second phases and recrystallization has not yet been fully understood.Taking a typical deformed nickel(Ni)-based(GH4169)superalloy as an exapmle,this research aims to clairfy the connections between the recrystallization and delta(δ)phase(Ni_(3)Nb) during annealing.All deformed samples were also treated by aging and then annealing.The results show that the microstructure and component ofδphase dominated the recrystallization nucleation in the Ni-based alloy.Moreover,there was the presence of theδphase interval limiting nucleation(PILN)andδphase protecting nucleation(PPN),when a high content of close-set phase was precipitated from the matrix.The PILN determined the primary condition for the recrystallization nucleation that happended at the interval ofδphase larger than the critical nucleation size.The peak nucleation occurred in the PPN,where the recrystallization nucleus were free of the penetration by the adjacent grains,before the nucleation incubation time was reached.Thus,a new feasible JNtheory was proposed to determine the maximum domain of recrystallization nucleation under close-set precipitated phases.All the possible nucleation sites were assumed under PPN in the JNtheory.As such,the original microstructure can be expected to design for the annealing via the aging process.A quantitative evaluation of recrystallization nucleation can also achieved in the Ni-based alloys during aging. | Guanqiang Wang Mingsong Chen Yongcheng Lin Hongbin Li Yuqiang Jiang Yanyong Ma Chengxu Peng Jinliang Cai Quan Chen | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,20: | 1 |
