| 1 | New Early Cretaceous Pterosaur-Bird Track Assemblage from Xinjiang, China:Palaeoethology and Palaeoenvironment显示文摘A pterosaur-bird track assemblage from a sandstone-siltstone-mudstone sequence of the Lower Cretaceous Tugulu Group of Xinjiang comprises the first pterosaur track record from this province and the largest specimen thus far known from China.The pterosaur tracks are assigned to the ichnogenus Pteraichnus based on the triangular overall-shape,the four elongate digit traces and the robust manual digit trace III.Supposed trackmakers were dsungaripterid pterodactyloids whose skeletal remains are well known from the Tugulu Group.The bird tracks that occur on the same surface,are those of typical shorebirds,known from different other localities in southeast Asia.The congruence with Koreanaornis dodsoni described from the same stratigraphic level justifies an assignment to this ichnospecies.This is a further evidence of the co-occurrence of pterosaurs and birds in a typical lakeshore environment with possible seasonal alteration of water supply and aerial exposure indicated by wave ripples,mudcracks and repeated cycles of coarse to fine sediment.Pterosaurs and birds frequented the shoreline and may have fed also on the numerous invertebrates such as the Scoyenia tracemaker that left abundant burrows. | HE Qing XING Lida ZHANG Jianping Martin G.LOCKLEY Hendrik KLEIN W.Scott PERSONS IV QI Liqi JIA Chengkai | 2013 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,6: | 4 |

| 14 | Chalcogen-dependent catalytic properties of RuX2 (X = S/Se/Te) nanoparticles decorated carbon nanofibers for hydrogen evolution in acidic and alkaline media显示文摘Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs),with the general formula MX_(2)(M=Mo/W/Fe/Co/Ni,etc.;X=S/Se/Te),have attracted extensive research interests for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Compared with numerous studies on noble-metal-free TMDs,the chalcogen-dependent HER catalytic properties of noble-metal-based TMDs are lack of sufficient research attention.Herein,a facile electrospinning-assisted synthetic strategy is proposed to synthesize ruthenium dichalcogenides(RuX_(2),X=S/Se/Te)nanoparticles decorated carbon nanofibers(CNFs).Benefiting from the identical nanofibrous morphology and exposed crystal planes of RuX_(2)(111),the catalytic activities of RuX_(2)@CNFs samples were investigated and compared in a fair and direct manner.Detailed electrochemical measurements coupled with density functional theory calculations were carried out to probe their intrinsic HER catalytic activities,resulting in the catalytic activity order of RuS_(2)@CNFs>RuSe_(2)@CNFs>RuTe_(2)@CNFs in acidic media and that of RuS_(2)@CNFs>RuTe_(2)@CNFs>RuSe_(2)@CNFs in alkaline media.The superior catalytic performance of RuS_(2)@CNFs mainly stems from the relative lower HER energy barriers and thereby the higher intrinsic catalytic activity of RuS_(2)(111),leading to ultralow overpotentials of 44 and 9 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2) in acidic and alkaline media,respectively.RuSe_(2)(111)is endowed with the more optimized Gibbs free energy of hydrogen adsorption(ΔGH*)than RuTe_(2)(111),but RuTe_(2)(111)shows enhanced catalytic property for H_(2)O dissociation and OH-desorption than RuSe_(2)(111),therefore,resulting in the altered catalytic activity sequences for RuSe_(2) and RuTe_(2) in acidic and alkaline media. | Chengkai He Yue Wei Jia Xu Yujie Wei Tao Wang Rongfei Liu Lvlv Ji Zhun Liu Sheng Wang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,4: | 0 |
| 15 | One-Pot Synthesis of Supertough,Sustainable Polyester Thermoplastic Elastomers Using Block-Like,Gradient Copolymer as Soft Midblock显示文摘It remains challenging to synthesize supertough thermoplastic elastomers(TPEs)since the stretchability and tensile strength are mutually exclusive.Here,we report a one-pot strategy for the preparation of sustainable,triblock polyester TPEs consisting of poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)hard segments and poly(ɛ-caprolactone)-co-poly(δ-valerolactone)(PCVL)soft segments.The TPEs were synthesized successfully with high stretchability(up to 2100%)and strong tensile strength(up to 71.5 MPa)without requiring specific functionalized groups by simply adjusting the polymer microstructures,which,in turn,exhibited a world’s record toughness of 445 MJ/m^(3).Systematic investigation revealed that the block-like,gradient microstructure of PCVL improved the ductility by providing a flexible elastic network and enhancing the tensile strength through strain-induced crystallization.The practicability of this strategy was well demonstrated by lifting a water tank over 30,000 times heavier than itself and easy scale-up experiments. | Wuchao Zhao Chengkai Li Xiao Yang Jianghua He Xuan Pang Yuetao Zhang Yongfeng Men Xuesi Chen | 2022 | CCS Chemistry2022,4,4: | 0 |
