| 2 | DMM:A dynamic memory mapping model for virtual machines显示文摘Memory virtualization is an important part in the design of virtual machine monitors(VMM).In this paper,we proposed dynamic memory mapping(DMM) model,a mechanism that allows the VMM to change the mapping between a virtual machine's physical memory and the underlying hardware resource while the virtual machine is running.By utilizing DMM,the VMM can implement many novel memory management policies,such as Demand Paging,Swapping,Ballooning,Memory Sharing and Copy-On-Write,while preserving compatibility with various architectures.The modular and hierarchical property of the DMM model efficiently incorporates the high-level policies and the low-level implementations,leading to a feature-adjustable VMM design.We presented the principle of the DMM model,and explained the procedures of various memory management policies under this model.Also,we implement the DMM model in KVM,an open source VMM.Our evaluation shows that the DMM model is efficient enough to provide the benefits of dynamic memory resource management with little performance impact. | CHEN HaoGang WANG XiaoLin WANG ZhenLin ZHANG BinBin LUO YingWei LI XiaoMing | 2010 | Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,6: | 11 |
| 3 | In Situ Growth Process of Mg-Al Hydrotalcite Conversion Film on AZ31 Mg Alloy显示文摘In this study,an environment-friendly hydrotalcite film has been deposited on AZ31 Mg alloy by a twostep technique.To improve conversion film technique and control film properties,batch studies have been carried out to address various process parameters such as immersion time,pH value,and temperature of the treatment solution.The morphologies and chemical composition were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS).The corrosion resistance of the samples with the various final films was then further compared by polarization curves.It can be concluded from the results that,at low value of pH,temperature,or long deposition time,the precursor film is mainly composed of a cracked layer.The transformation of hydrotalcite film is largely influenced by the pH value.There are optimum values of pH,temperature of the coating bath and immersion time for the film formation process to achieve the best quality and corrosion resistance of the hydrotalcite film.The optimum process is as follows:the sample is first immersed in the pretreatment solution with a pH value of about 8 at a temperature of 60 ℃ for 30 min to form a precursor film and then this precursor film is immersed into the post treatment solution with a pH of 10.5 at 80 ℃ for 1.5 h to obtain the Mg—Al hydrotalcite conversion film. | Jun Chen Yingwei Song Dayong Shan En-Hou Han | 2015 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,4: | 10 |

| 7 | Dynamic memory paravirtualization transparent to guest OS显示文摘This paper introduces dynamic paravirtualization, which imitates paravirtualization and aims at reducing VM exits of full virtualization with hardware support. In dynamic paravirtualization, VMM (virtual machine monitor) dynamically monitors and replaces the hot instructions, which cause most VM exits. It is transparent to the guest OS such that the legacy OSes can benefit from this optimization. Our study focuses on reducing the overhead of memory virtualization-dynamic memory paravirtualization (DMP). We implant a new memory management mechanism in VMM such that all user-mode page faults can be handled by the guest OS directly without VM exits. We implement a prototype of dynamic memory paravirtulization based on a version of KVM using Intel VT. Our experimental results show that our technique essentially eliminates the overhead of VM exits caused by page faults. | 13 | Encapsulation of ultrafine Pd nanoparticles within the shallow layers of UiO-67 for highly efficient hydrogenation reactions显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have been used to encapsulate active metal nanoparticles(MNPs)to fabricate MNPs@MOFs composites with high catalytic efficiencies.However,the diffusion of reactants and the accessibility of MNPs located in the center of MOFs may be hindered due to the inherent microporous structures of MOFs,which would affect the catalytic activities of MNPs.Herein,we report a solvent assisted ligand exchange-hydrogen reduction(SALE-HR)strategy to selectively encapsulate ultrafine MNPs(Pd or Pt)within the shallow layers of a MOF,i.e.,UiO-67.The particle sizes of the encapsulated MNPs and the thickness of the MNPs-embedded layers can be adjusted easily by controlling the SALE conditions(e.g.time and temperature).Crucially,the LE-Pd@UiO-80-0.5 composite with the thinnest Pd-embedded layers displays remarkable catalytic efficiency with a high turnover frequency(TOF)value of 600 h^-1towards hydrogenation of nitrobenzene under 1 atm H_2at room temperature.The results indicate that the catalytic efficiency and the utilization of MNPs can be enhanced by compactly encapsulating MNPs within the shallow layers of MOFs as close to their outer surfaces as possible,owing to the short masstransfer distance and enhanced accessibility of overall MNPs. | Zhiming Cui Ting Fan Liyu Chen Ruiqi Fang Chuanmao Li Yingwei Li | 2021 | Science China Chemistry2021,64,1: | 1 |
