1Effect of Fe, Si and Cooling Rate on the Formation of Fe-and Mn-rich Intermetallics in Al–5Mg–0.8Mn Alloy显示文摘The Fe-and Mn-rich intermetallics are of great effect on the mechanical properties of the AA5083 type alloy(Al–5Mg–0.8Mn). The effect of Fe, Si and cooling rate on the formation of the intermetallics were investigated by analyzing the microstructures of the alloys with different Fe and Si contents. The results indicated that increasing the Fe content resulted in the increase of the Al_6(Fe,Mn) phase in both amount and size. In the alloys with high Fe content, the platelet-like Al_6(Fe,Mn) compounds lined up and formed a band. Increasing the content of Si resulted in the increase of the Mg_2 Si phase which formed a network structure. Increasing the cooling rate significantly refined the intermetallics. However, increasing the cooling rate did not change the characteristic of the intermetallic compounds in the alloys with low or medium Si contents. For the alloys with high contents of Fe and Si under the condition of near-rapid cooling, the Fe- and Mn-rich intermetallic compound changed to the quaternary (Al)_15(Fe,Mn)_3Si phase and displayed a fine fish bone or Chinese script structure. 2Theoretical studies on the complexation of uranyl with typical carboxylate and amidoximate ligands显示文摘Understanding of the bonding nature of uranyl and various ligands is the key for designing robust sequestering agents for uranium extraction from seawater.In this paper thermodynamic properties related to the complexation reaction of uranyl(VI)in aqueous solution(i.e.existing in the form of UO2(H2O)52+)by several typical ligands(L)including acetate(CH3CO2),bicarbonate(HOCO2),carbonate(CO32),CH3(NH2)CNO(acetamidoximate,AO)and glutarimidedioximate(denoted as GDO2)have been investigated by using relativistic density functional theory(DFT).The geometries,vibrational frequencies,natural net charges,and bond orders of the formed uranyl-L complexes in aqueous solution are studied.Based on the DFT analysis we show that the binding interaction between uranyl and amidoximate ligand is the strongest among the selected complexes.The thermodynamics of the complexation reaction are examined,and the calculated results show that complexation of uranyl with amidoximate ligands is most preferred thermodynamically.Besides,reaction paths of the substitution complexation of solvated uranyl by acetate and AO have been studied,respectively.We have obtained two minima along the reaction path of solvated uranyl with acetate,the monodentate-acetate complex and the bidentate-acetate one,while only one minimum involving monodentate-AO complex has been located for AO ligand.Comparing the energy barriers of the two reaction paths,we find that complexation of uranyl with AO is more difficult in kinetics,though it is more preferable in thermodynamics.These results show that theoretical studies can help to select efficient ligands with fine-tuned thermodynamic and kinetic properties for binding uranyl in seawater.XU ChaoFei SU Jing XU Xiang LI Jun 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,11:5
3Kinematics of Chinese toad Bufo gargarizans显示文摘A three-dimensional motion force tester for animal was used to measure the reaction forces of the feet of a Chinese toad (B. gargarizans) against a horizontal solid surface on which it crawled. The motion behavior of the Chinese toad was recorded by a high-speed camera on line. The motor function of every foot was analyzed. It was found that the lateral force represents the control ability of side-to-side locomotion, controls the lateral movement, and maintains a stable state for the sustainable creeping gesture. The forefeet play the assistant role and the hind feet play the main role in driving. The normal force of the forefeet is significantly greater than that of the hind feet, so the forefeet play the main role in supporting the body and the hind feet play the assistant role. The normal force is significantly greater than the lateral force and the driving force as well. There is little change for the friction force and the support angle of the all four feet. The average value of the support angle is 70°–80°. The Chinese toad’s vola friction coefficient of the forefeet is less than that of the hind feet. The above results indicate that the difference in kinematics and the material characteristic of the contact skin of the Chinese toad. 4Optimizational production of phenyllactic acid by a Lactobacillus buchneri strain via uniform design with overlay sampling methodology显示文摘A Lactobacillus buchneri GBS3 strain isolated from the traditional Chinese pickles was used for the production of 3-phenyllactic acid(PLA), an important compound with antimicrobial activities against a wide species of grampositive and gram-negative bacteria and some fungi. The growth performance of this strain in the de Man, Rogosa and Sharpe(MRS) medium, the production of metabolites of valuable organic acids, and the biosynthesis of PLA using this strain as the whole-cell biocatalyst and phenylpyruvic acid(PPA) as the precursor, were investigated experimentally. The uniform design method with overlay sampling was developed for the optimization of the biotransformation conditions. The results showed that although it produced naturally lactic acid with the maximum concentration of 1.84 g·L^(-1) and PLA with the concentration of 0.015 g·L^(-1) after 66 to 72 h cultivation in MRS broth by fermentation, the present strain displayed an effective utilization ability by transforming PPA to PLA. By the uniform design method with overlay sampling for the design and optimization of transformation conditions, a maximum yield of 10.93 g·L^(-1) PLA with the mole conversion ratio of 83.07% from PPA to PLA was achieved under the optimized condition, i.e., 20 g·L^(-1) glucose, 270 g·L^(-1) cells, 13 g·L^(-1) PPA, pH 8.0 and the reaction time of 15 h, indicating that Lactobacillus buchneri GBS3 was an interesting strain for the biosynthesis of PLA via the microbial transformation. The prediction of PLA yield under different conditions was achieved successfully based on the limited information of only a small number of experiments by the uniform design with overlay sampling. 5Preliminary calibration results of the HY-2B altimeter’s SSH at China’s Wanshan calibration site显示文摘Satellite altimeter needs to be calibrated to evaluate the accuracy of sea surface height data.The dedicated altimeter calibration field needs to establish a special calibration strategy and needs to evaluate its calibration ability.This paper describes absolute calibration of HY-2 B altimeter SSH using the GPS calibration method at the newly Wanshan calibration site,located in the Wanshan Islands,China.There are two HY-2 B altimeter passes across the Wanshan calibration site.Pass No.362 is descending and the ground track passes the east of Dan’gan Island.Pass No.375 is ascending and crosses the Zhiwan Island.The GPS data processing strategy of Wanshan calibration site was established and the accuracy of GPS calibration method of Wanshan calibration site was evaluated.Meanwhile,the processing strategies of the HY-2 B altimeter for the Wanshan calibration site were established,and a dedicated geoid model data were used to benefit the calibration accuracy.The time-averaged HY-2 B altimeter bias was approximately 2.12 cm with a standard deviation of 2.08 cm.The performance of the HY-2 B correction microwave radiometer was also evaluated in terms of the wet troposphere path delay and showed a mean difference-0.2 cm with a 1.4 cm standard deviation with respect to the in situ GPS radiosonde.Chuntao Chen Jianhua Zhu Chaofei Ma Mingsen Lin Longhao Yan Xiaoqi Huang Wanlin Zhai Bo Mu Yongjun Jia 2021Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,5:2
6Genesis of the Ciemas Gold Deposit and Relationship with Epithermal Deposits in West Java,Indonesia:Constraints from Fluid Inclusions and Stable Isotopes显示文摘The Ciemas gold deposit is located in West Java of Indonesia,which is a Cenozoic magmatism belt resulting from the Indo-Australian plate subducting under the Eurasian plate.Two different volcanic rock belts and associated epithermal deposits are distributed in West Java:the younger late Miocene-Pliocene magmatic belt generated the Pliocene-Pleistocene epithermal deposits,while the older late Eocene-early Miocene magmatic belt generated the Miocene epithermal deposits.To constrain the physico-chemical conditions and the origin of the ore fluid in Ciemas,a detailed study of ore petrography,fluid inclusions,laser Raman spectroscopy,oxygen-hydrogen isotopes for quartz was conducted.The results show that hydrothermal pyrite and quartz are widespread,hydrothermal alteration is well developed,and that leaching structures such as vuggy rocks and extension structures such as comb quartz are common.Fluid inclusions in quartz are mainly liquid-rich two phase inclusions,with fluid compositions in the NaCl-H20 fluid system,and contain no or little CO_2.Their homogenization temperatures cluster around 240℃-320℃,the salinities lie in the range of 14-17 wt.%NaCl equiv,and the calculated fluid densities are 0.65-1.00 g/cm^3.The values of δ^(18)O_(H2O-VSMOW)for quartz range from +5.5‰ to +7.7‰,the δD_(VSMOW) of fluid inclusions in quartz ranges from-70‰ to-115‰.All of these data indicate that mixing of magmatic fluid with meteoric water resulted in the formation of the Ciemas deposit.A comparison among gold deposits of West Java suggests that Miocene epithermal ore deposits in the southernmost part of West Java were more affected by magmatic fluids and exhibit a higher degree of sulfldation than those of Pliocene-Pleistocene.ZHENG Chaofei ZHANG Zhengwei WU Chengquan YAO Junhua 2017Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,3:2

10Review on the Tectonic Terranes Associated with Metallogenic Zones in Southeast Asia显示文摘The paper presents an overview of the relationships between the interior structures of tectonic terranes and the distribution of tectonic-metallogenic zones in Southeast Asia. Episodic tectonic activities occurred in this archipelagic area, generating metallogenic belts in multi-terranes. Since the Late Paleozoic, opening and closure of the Paleotethys and Neotethys led to multiple suture zones between different blocks, mainly between the Indochina terrane, the Nambung terrane, the Sibumasu terrane and the West Myanmar terrane. During the Mesozoic to Cenozoic, the formation of accreted terranes and their related islands was caused by subduction and collision processes between the Pacific and Australian plates toward the Eurasian Continent, forming Sundaland and its affiliated islands, the Philippines and its subsidiary islands, the Papua New Guinea terrane and its related islands and the Sunda epicontinental arc system. Within the margin of terranes resulted in the structural transfer zones, their secondary tectonic units can be divided into island arc belts, back-arc basins, suture zones, marginal fold belts and orogenic belts. The metallogenic assemblages are mainly distributed within these structural zones of the terranes. According to the relationship between these tectonic units and the distribution of mineral resources, the tectonic-metallogenic belts can be divided into 24 metallogenic belts in Southeast Asia. They are characterized by a diversity and frequency of metallogenic material combination which is likely to reflect the complexity of the material distribution during mineralization processes, mostly by the structural transformation during the dissociation-convergence process between multiple terranes. 11Mechanoresponsive MiR-138-5p Targets MACF1 to Inhibit Bone Formation显示文摘Mechanical stimuli play an essential role in maintaining bone remodeling and skeletal integrity.Meanwhile,bone can respond to the changes of mechanical condition to adjust its mass and architecture.Clinical studies discover that bedridden patients showed osteoporotic T-scores and low bone mineral density,and long-term immobilized patients presented reduced markers of bone formation.However,as bone formation mediated by osteoblast differentiation is a complex process,the underlying molecular mechanism of mechanical stimuli regulating bone formation is still unclear.Recent evidences show that microRNAs(miRNAs)are involved in mechanical stimuli regulating bone formation or osteoblast differentiation.Nevertheless,no direct evidence identifies mechanoresponsive miRNA in both human and animal bones,and clarifies its mechanoresponsive role under different mechanical conditions(e.g.mechanical unloading,reloading,loading).In the current study,we screened for differentially expressed miRNAs in bone specimens of bedridden patients with fractures,then identified that the expression of miR-138-5p,but not the other miRNAs,altered withbedridden time and was negatively correlated with the expression of the bone formation marker genes Alp(alkaline phosphatase).Moreover,miR-138-5p was up-regulated with reduced bone formation during unloading and down-regulated with increased bone formation during reloading in hind4imb unloaded mice.In addition,miR-138-5p was verified to be responsive to different mechanical unloading condition and cyclic mechanical stretch condition in primary osteogenic cells,respectively.Further in vitro data suggested that mechanoresponsive miR-138-5p directly targeted microtubule actin crosslinking factor 1(MACF1)to inhibit osteoblast differentiation.In vivo,we constructed an osteoblastic miR-138-5p transgenic mice model(TG138)with the Runx2promoter,and found that overexpression miR-138-5p supressed bone formation.Moreover,osteoblast-targeted inhibition of miR-138-5p sensitized bone anabolic response to mechanical loading in TG138 mice.Predominantly,the osteoblast-targeted inhibition of miR-138-5p could counteract bone formation reduction induced by hind limb unloading.Taken together,the mechanoresponsive miR-138-5p inhibited bone anabolic response for developing a novel bone anabolic sensitization strategy.Zhihao Chen Zhao Fan Liang Chao Lifang Hu Chen Lei Zhang Yan Yin Chong Dijie Li Tian Ye Wuxia Qiu Kewen Zhang Chaofei Yang Xiaona Li Li Yu Weiyi Chen Zhang Ge Qian Airong 2019医用生物力学2019,34,A01:1

17Tuning the electron transport behavior at Li/LATP interface for enhanced cyclability of solid-state Li batteries显示文摘An interlayer is usually employed to tackle the interfacial instability issue between solid electrolytes(SEs)and Li metal caused by the side reaction.However,the failure mechanism of the ionic conductor interlayers,especially the influence from electron penetration,remains largely unknown.Herein,using Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3(LATP)as the model SE and LiF as the interlayer,we use metal semiconductor contact barrier theory to reveal the failure origin of Li/LiF@LATP interface based on the calculation results of density functional theory(DFT),in which electrons can easily tunnel through the LiF grain boundary with F vacancies due to its narrow barrier width against electron injection,followed by the reduction of LATP.Remarkably,an Al-LiF bilayer between Li/LATP is found to dramatically promote the interfacial stability,due to the highly increased barrier width and homogenized electric field at the interface.Consequently,the Li symmetric cells with Al-LiF bilayer can exhibit excellent cyclability of more than 2,000 h superior to that interlayered by LiF monolayer(~860 h).Moreover,the Li/Al-LiF@LATP/LiFePO4 solid-state batteries deliver a capacity retention of 83.2%after 350 cycles at 0.5 C.Our findings emphasize the importance of tuning the electron transport behavior by optimizing the potential barrier for the interface design in high-performance solid-state batteries.Linshan Luo Feng Zheng Haowen Gao Chaofei Lan Zhefei Sun Wei Huang Xiang Han Ziqi Zhang Pengfei Su Peng Wang Shengshi Guo Guangyang Lin Jianfang Xu Jianyuan Wang Jun Li Cheng Li Qiaobao Zhang Shunqing Wu Ming-Sheng Wang Songyan Chen 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
18Time-varying parameters estimation with adaptive neural network EKF for missile-dual control system显示文摘In this paper, a filtering method is presented to estimate time-varying parameters of a missile dual control system with tail fins and reaction jets as control variables. In this method, the long-short-term memory(LSTM) neural network is nested into the extended Kalman filter(EKF) to modify the Kalman gain such that the filtering performance is improved in the presence of large model uncertainties. To avoid the unstable network output caused by the abrupt changes of system states,an adaptive correction factor is introduced to correct the network output online. In the process of training the network, a multi-gradient descent learning mode is proposed to better fit the internal state of the system, and a rolling training is used to implement an online prediction logic. Based on the Lyapunov second method, we discuss the stability of the system, the result shows that when the training error of neural network is sufficiently small, the system is asymptotically stable. 19Synthesis of ordered mesoporous manganese titanium composite oxide catalyst for catalytic ozonation显示文摘In this account,highly ordered mesoporous MnO_x/TiO_2composite catalysts with efficient catalytic ozonation of phenol degradation were synthesized by the sol–gel method.The surface morphology and properties of the catalysts were characterized by several analytical methods,including SEM,TEM,BET,XRD,FTIR,and XPS.Interestingly,Mn doping was found to improve the degree of order,and the ordered mesoporous structure was optimized at 3%doping.Meanwhile,MnO_xwas highly dispersed in the ordered mesoporous materials to yield good catalytic ozonation performance.Phenol could completely be degraded in 20 min and mineralized at 79%in 60 min.Thus,the catalyst greatly improved the efficiency of degradation and mineralization of phenol when compared to single O_3or O_3+TiO_2.Finally,the reaction mechanism of the catalyst was discussed and found to conform to pseudo-first-order reaction dynamics.Chaofei Fei Dan Li Xian Mao Yu Guo Wenheng Jing 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,9:0
20Cu nanowire array with designed interphases enabling high performance Si anode toward flexible lithium-ion battery显示文摘To meet the growing demand for wearable smart electronic devices,the development of flexible lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)is essential.Silicon is an ideal candidate for the anode material of flexible lithium-ion batteries due to its high specific capacity,low working potential,and earth abundance.The largest challenge in developing a flexible silicon anode is how to maintain structural integrity and ensure stable electrochemical reactions during external deformation.In this work,we propose a novel design for fabricating core–shell electrodes based on a copper nanowire(CuNW)array core and magnetron sputtered Si/C shell.The nanowire array structure has characteristics of bending under longitudinal stress and twisting under transverse stress,which helps to maintain the mechanical stability of the structure during electrode bending and cycling.The low-temperature annealing generates a small amount of Cu3Si alloy,which enhances the connection strength between Si and the conductive network and solves the poor conductivity problem of Si,which is known as a semiconductor material.This unique configuration design of CuNW@Si@C-400℃ leads to stable long cycle performance of 1109 mAh∙g^(-1) after 1000 cycles and excellent rate performance of 500 mAh∙g^(-1) at a current density of 10 A∙g^(-1).Furthermore,the CuNW@Si@C-400℃||LiFePO_(4)(LFP)full battery demonstrates excellent flexibility,with a capacity retention of more than 96%after 100 bends.This study provides a promising strategy for the development of flexible lithium-ion batteries.Pengfei Su Ziqi Zhang Linshan Luo Zhiyong Zhang Chaofei Lan Yahui Li Shaowen Xu Shanpeng Pei Guangyang Lin Cheng Li Xiang Han Wei Huang Songyan Chen 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
