| 1 | Two-photon AIE probe conjugated theranostic nanoparticles for tumor bioimaging and pH-sensitive drug delivery显示文摘Nanoparticles armed with chemotherapy drug and fluorescence probe have become an effective anticancer strategy for their advantages in cancer diagnosis and treatment.However,fluorophore for diagnostic medicine with deep penetration depth and high resolution are still very rare,while rational designs are also required to improve the tumor retention and target-site drug delivery.Herein,a two-photon fluorophore with aggregation-induced emission and large two-photon absorption cross-section has been designed for two-photon bioimaging,and a novel theranostic nanoplatform is also constructed based on doxorubicin and the two-photon fluorophore conjugated copolymer,P(TPMA-co-AEMA)-PEI(DA)-Blink-PEG (PAEEBlink-DA).The micelles maintain a “stealth” property during blood circulation and is activated in the acidic tumor microenvironment,which triggers the charge-conversion and results in enhanced micellar internalization.Meanwhile,PAEMA chains can convert from hydrophobicity to hydrophilicity with accelerated drug release and particle size expansion.The enlarged particle size would potentially extend the retention time of these micelles.Moreover,a great AIE active two-photon bioimaging with tissue penetration depth up to 150 μm is observed and the in vivo biodistribution of nanoparticles can be traced.The in vivo antitumor results further indicate the obvious reduction of adverse effect and enhanced treatment effect of these micelles,proving that these PAEEBlink-DA micelles would be a potential candidate for tumor theranostic applications. | Boxuan Ma Weihua Zhuang Haiyang He Xin Su Tao Yu Jun Hu Li Yang Gaocan Li Yunbing Wang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,7: | 2 |
| 2 | Drug-loaded chitosan film prepared via facile solution casting and air-drying of plain water-based chitosan solution for ocular drug delivery显示文摘Chitosan is a nature-based polymer with low toxicity,excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability.However,the intractable solubility of chitosan in water and most conventional solvents hampers its biomedical applications.Following the dissolution method for dissolving chitosan in plain water developed by us,chitosan was dissolved in ionic liquid followed by overnight freezing at−20℃ and subsequent solvent exchange with plain water at room temperature.In this study,we fabricated a drug-carrying chitosan film via solution casting and air-drying by using the plain water-based chitosan solution.Specifically,brimonidine tartrate(BT),an antiglaucoma drug,was dissolved in the plain-water based solution and used to prepare BT-loaded chitosan film,i.e.,chitosan-BT film.The resulting film is transparent,structurally stable,and mucoadhesive.Micro-sized antiglaucoma BT drug crystals form and are well dispersed in the chitosan film.The chitosan-BT film enables BT to have a high corneal permeability with fast drug release kinetics for potential ocular drug delivery. | Boxuan Li Juan Wang Qin Gui Hu Yang | 2020 | Bioactive Materials2020,5,3: | 0 |

| 5 | Cross-term rejection in the Wigner-Ville distribution for velocity estimation of a narrowband sound source显示文摘The Doppler shift of sound waves is widely used to passively estimate the velocity of a narrowband moving source by a single sensor.The performances of these techniques largely depend on the instantaneous frequency estimation accuracy.The Wigner-Ville distribution provides a high-resolution tool for time-frequency analysis,but it is hardly used for instantaneous frequency estimation due to the existence of cross-terms.To address this inconvenience,a method for cross-term rejection in the Wigner-Ville distribution is proposed to passively estimate the velocity of a narrowband sound source by using a single sensor.A rejection term is introduced to the Wigner-Ville distribution,which is formulated based on the relation between the cross-term and the source velocity.The method updates the source velocity estimate iteratively,making the rejection term and the cross-term opposite in phase to cancel the cross-term.The experimental results show that the velocity estimation error for a truck at a speed of 6.07 m/s(signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 29 dB)is 0.1 m/s,and the run time of the method is 4.6 s.Furthermore,the velocity estimation error for a helicopter at a speed of 28.90 m/s(the signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 16 dB)is 0.46 m/s,and the run time is 1.2 s.The performance of the proposed method is superior to that of the matched Wigner transform and the Doppler chirplet transform in terms of both precision and computational efficiency. | ZHANG Boxuan YANG Yixin GUO Xijing | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2022,41,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Genomic Shift in Population Dynamics of mcr-1-positive Escherichia coli in Human Carriage显示文摘Emergence of the colistin resistance gene,mcr-1,has attracted worldwide attention.Despite the prevalence of mcr-1-positive Escherichia coli(MCRPEC)strains in human carriage showing a significant decrease between 2016 and 2019,genetic differences in MCRPEC strains remain largely unknown.We therefore conducted a comparative genomic study on MCRPEC strains from fecal samples of healthy human subjects in 2016 and 2019.We identified three major differences in MCRPEC strains between these two time points.First,the insertion sequence ISApl1 was often deleted and the percentage of mcr-1-carrying IncI2 plasmids was increased in MCRPEC strains in 2019.Second,the antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs),aac(3)-IVa and blaCTX-M-1,emerged and coexisted with mcr-1 in 2019.Third,MCRPEC strains in 2019 contained more virulence genes,resulting in an increased proportion of extraintestinal pathogenic E.coli(ExPEC)strains(36.1%)in MCRPEC strains in 2019 compared to that in 2016(10.5%),implying that these strains could occupy intestinal ecological niches by competing with other commensal bacteria.Our results suggest that despite the significant reduction in the prevalence of MCRPEC strains in humans from 2016 to 2019,MCRPEC exhibits increased resistance to other clinically important ARGs and contains more virulence genes,which may pose a potential public health threat. | Yingbo Shen Rong Zhang Dongyan Shao Lu Yang Jiayue Lu Congcong Liu Xueyang Wang Junyao Jiang Boxuan Wang Congming Wu Julian Parkhill Yang Wang Timothy R.Walsh George F.Gao Zhangqi Shen | 2022 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,6: | 0 |
