| 3 | De novo synthesis of bifunctional conjugated microporous polymers for synergistic coordination mediated uranium entrapment显示文摘This work reports a de novo synthesis of novel bifunctional conjugated microporous polymers(CMPs)exhibiting a synergistic-effect involved coordination behavior to uranium.It is highlighted that the synthetic strategy enables the engineering of the coordination environment within amidoxime functionalized CMP frameworks by specifically introducing ortho-substituted amino functionalities,enhancing the affinity to uranyl ions via forming synergistic complexes.The CMPs exhibit high Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surface area,well-developed three-dimensional(3D)networks with hierarchical porosity,and favorable chemical and thermal stability because of the covalently cross-linked structure.Compared with the amino-free counterparts,the adsorption capacity of bifunctional CMPs was increased by almost 70%,from 105 to 174 mg/g,indicating evidently enhanced binding ability to uranium.Moreover,new insights into coordination mechanism were obtained by in-depth X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analysis and density functional theory(DFT)calculation,suggesting a dominant role of the oxime ligands forming a 1:1 metal ions/ligands(M/L)coordination model with uranyl ions while demonstrating the synergistic engagement of the amino functionalities via direct binding to uranium center and hydrogen-bonding involved secondary-sphere interaction.This work sheds light on the underlying principles of ortho-substituted functionalities directed synergistic effect to promote the coordination of amidoxime with uranyl ions.And the synthetic strategy established here would enable the task-specific development of more novel CMP-based functional materials for broadened applications. | Boxuan Yu Lei Zhang Gang Ye Qingzhi Liu Jiongli Li Xudong Wang Jing Chen Shengming Xu Shengqian Ma | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 2 |

| 5 | Revealing nonclassicality via s-ordered phase-space distribution显示文摘Nonclassical states play a crucial role in both theoretical and experimental investigations of quantum optics, and there is a wide interest in characterization and quantification of nonclassicality. By exploiting the freedom of the parameter s in the s-ordered phase-space distribution introduced by Cahill and Glauber [Phys. Rev. 177, 1882(1969)], we develop a method to reveal and quantify optical nonclassicality via the divided difference of the s-ordered phase-space distribution. Our approach yields naturally a family of quantifiers of optical nonclassicality, which have many desirable properties such as convexity and monotonicity under the Gaussian noise channels. The quantifiers are illustrated by evaluating nonclassicality of several typical states. | 7 | Cross-term rejection in the Wigner-Ville distribution for velocity estimation of a narrowband sound source显示文摘The Doppler shift of sound waves is widely used to passively estimate the velocity of a narrowband moving source by a single sensor.The performances of these techniques largely depend on the instantaneous frequency estimation accuracy.The Wigner-Ville distribution provides a high-resolution tool for time-frequency analysis,but it is hardly used for instantaneous frequency estimation due to the existence of cross-terms.To address this inconvenience,a method for cross-term rejection in the Wigner-Ville distribution is proposed to passively estimate the velocity of a narrowband sound source by using a single sensor.A rejection term is introduced to the Wigner-Ville distribution,which is formulated based on the relation between the cross-term and the source velocity.The method updates the source velocity estimate iteratively,making the rejection term and the cross-term opposite in phase to cancel the cross-term.The experimental results show that the velocity estimation error for a truck at a speed of 6.07 m/s(signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 29 dB)is 0.1 m/s,and the run time of the method is 4.6 s.Furthermore,the velocity estimation error for a helicopter at a speed of 28.90 m/s(the signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 16 dB)is 0.46 m/s,and the run time is 1.2 s.The performance of the proposed method is superior to that of the matched Wigner transform and the Doppler chirplet transform in terms of both precision and computational efficiency. | ZHANG Boxuan YANG Yixin GUO Xijing | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2022,41,4: | 0 |
| 8 | Genomic Shift in Population Dynamics of mcr-1-positive Escherichia coli in Human Carriage显示文摘Emergence of the colistin resistance gene,mcr-1,has attracted worldwide attention.Despite the prevalence of mcr-1-positive Escherichia coli(MCRPEC)strains in human carriage showing a significant decrease between 2016 and 2019,genetic differences in MCRPEC strains remain largely unknown.We therefore conducted a comparative genomic study on MCRPEC strains from fecal samples of healthy human subjects in 2016 and 2019.We identified three major differences in MCRPEC strains between these two time points.First,the insertion sequence ISApl1 was often deleted and the percentage of mcr-1-carrying IncI2 plasmids was increased in MCRPEC strains in 2019.Second,the antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs),aac(3)-IVa and blaCTX-M-1,emerged and coexisted with mcr-1 in 2019.Third,MCRPEC strains in 2019 contained more virulence genes,resulting in an increased proportion of extraintestinal pathogenic E.coli(ExPEC)strains(36.1%)in MCRPEC strains in 2019 compared to that in 2016(10.5%),implying that these strains could occupy intestinal ecological niches by competing with other commensal bacteria.Our results suggest that despite the significant reduction in the prevalence of MCRPEC strains in humans from 2016 to 2019,MCRPEC exhibits increased resistance to other clinically important ARGs and contains more virulence genes,which may pose a potential public health threat. | Yingbo Shen Rong Zhang Dongyan Shao Lu Yang Jiayue Lu Congcong Liu Xueyang Wang Junyao Jiang Boxuan Wang Congming Wu Julian Parkhill Yang Wang Timothy R.Walsh George F.Gao Zhangqi Shen | 2022 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,6: | 0 |
