| 1 | TRIM29 prevents hepatocellular carcinoma progression by inhibiting Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway显示文摘TRIM29 plays an important role in many neoplasms.In this study,we aimed to elucidate its role in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and explore the corresponding potential mechanism.The expression level of TRIM29 in HCC samples and hepatoma cell lines was detected.We found that TRIM29 was down-regulated in clinical HCC samples and cultured hepatoma cell lines by western blot analysis and quantitative polymerase chain reaction.In addition,we demonstrated that higher TRIM29 expression was associated with higher differentiation grade of HCC.To explore the effect of TRIM29 on hepatoma cells and its possible mechanisms,TRIM29-knockdown and overexpression cell models were constructed.The results showed that the depletion of TRIM29 promoted liver cancer cell proliferation,clone formation,migration and invasion in vitro probably through the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.This study revealed the inhibitory roles of TRIM29 in HCC and the possible mechanisms. | Mingxing Xu Jingxiong Hu Boxuan Zhou Yuesi Zhong Nan Lin Ruiyun Xu | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,1: | 9 |
| 2 | Two-photon AIE probe conjugated theranostic nanoparticles for tumor bioimaging and pH-sensitive drug delivery显示文摘Nanoparticles armed with chemotherapy drug and fluorescence probe have become an effective anticancer strategy for their advantages in cancer diagnosis and treatment.However,fluorophore for diagnostic medicine with deep penetration depth and high resolution are still very rare,while rational designs are also required to improve the tumor retention and target-site drug delivery.Herein,a two-photon fluorophore with aggregation-induced emission and large two-photon absorption cross-section has been designed for two-photon bioimaging,and a novel theranostic nanoplatform is also constructed based on doxorubicin and the two-photon fluorophore conjugated copolymer,P(TPMA-co-AEMA)-PEI(DA)-Blink-PEG (PAEEBlink-DA).The micelles maintain a “stealth” property during blood circulation and is activated in the acidic tumor microenvironment,which triggers the charge-conversion and results in enhanced micellar internalization.Meanwhile,PAEMA chains can convert from hydrophobicity to hydrophilicity with accelerated drug release and particle size expansion.The enlarged particle size would potentially extend the retention time of these micelles.Moreover,a great AIE active two-photon bioimaging with tissue penetration depth up to 150 μm is observed and the in vivo biodistribution of nanoparticles can be traced.The in vivo antitumor results further indicate the obvious reduction of adverse effect and enhanced treatment effect of these micelles,proving that these PAEEBlink-DA micelles would be a potential candidate for tumor theranostic applications. | Boxuan Ma Weihua Zhuang Haiyang He Xin Su Tao Yu Jun Hu Li Yang Gaocan Li Yunbing Wang | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,7: | 2 |

| 4 | Drug-loaded chitosan film prepared via facile solution casting and air-drying of plain water-based chitosan solution for ocular drug delivery显示文摘Chitosan is a nature-based polymer with low toxicity,excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability.However,the intractable solubility of chitosan in water and most conventional solvents hampers its biomedical applications.Following the dissolution method for dissolving chitosan in plain water developed by us,chitosan was dissolved in ionic liquid followed by overnight freezing at−20℃ and subsequent solvent exchange with plain water at room temperature.In this study,we fabricated a drug-carrying chitosan film via solution casting and air-drying by using the plain water-based chitosan solution.Specifically,brimonidine tartrate(BT),an antiglaucoma drug,was dissolved in the plain-water based solution and used to prepare BT-loaded chitosan film,i.e.,chitosan-BT film.The resulting film is transparent,structurally stable,and mucoadhesive.Micro-sized antiglaucoma BT drug crystals form and are well dispersed in the chitosan film.The chitosan-BT film enables BT to have a high corneal permeability with fast drug release kinetics for potential ocular drug delivery. | Boxuan Li Juan Wang Qin Gui Hu Yang | 2020 | Bioactive Materials2020,5,3: | 0 |
| 5 | Diversity and independent evolutionary profiling of rodent-borne viruses in Hainan,a tropical island of China显示文摘The risk of emerging infectious diseases(EID)is increasing globally.More than 60%of EIDs worldwide are caused by animal-borne pathogens.This study aimed to characterize the virome,analyze the phylogenetic evolution,and determine the diversity of rodent-borne viruses in Hainan Province,China.We collected 682 anal and throat samples from rodents,combined them into 28 pools according to their species and location,and processed them for next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics analysis.The diverse viral contigs closely related to mammals were assigned to 22 viral families.Molecular clues of the important rodent-borne viruses were further identified by polymerase chain reaction for phylogenetic analysis and annotation of genetic characteristics such as arenavirus,coronavirus,astrovirus,pestivirus,parvovirus,and papillomavirus.We identified pestivirus and bocavirus in Leopoldoms edwardsi from Huangjinjiaoling,and bocavirus in Rattus andamanensis from the national nature reserves of Bangxi with low amino acid identity to known pathogens are proposed as the novel species,and their rodent hosts have not been previously reported to carry these viruses.These results expand our knowledge of viral classification and host range and suggest that there are highly diverse,undiscovered viruses that have evolved independently in their unique wildlife hosts in inaccessible areas. | Youyou Li Chuanning Tang Yun Zhang Zihan Li Gaoyu Wang Ruoyan Peng Yi Huang Xiaoyuan Hu Henan Xin Boxuan Feng Xuefang Cao Yongpeng He Tonglei Guo Yijun He Haoxiang Su Xiuji Cui Lina Niu Zhiqiang Wu Jian Yang Fan Yang Gang Lu Lei Gao Qi Jin Meifang Xiao Feifei Yin Jiang Du | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023,38,5: | 0 |
