1欧洲新生儿呼吸窘迫综合征防治共识显示文摘呼吸窘迫综合征(RDS)是由于肺表面活性物质(PS)缺乏及肺结构发育不成熟所致,多见于早产儿,自然病程为出生当时或生后很快发病,并在生后2d内进行性恶化,如不及时治疗,因进行性缺氧和呼吸衰竭而死亡。存活者出生后2—4d病情开始改善。RDS临床表现早期出现呼吸窘迫如紫绀、呻吟、吸凹和呼吸急促,然后进一步发展为呼吸衰竭,血气分析结果可提示呼吸衰竭的严重性。胸部X线典型的毛玻璃样改变和支气管充气征可以确诊。Vermont Oxford新生儿协作网对RDS的定义为:Sweet D Bevilacqua G Carnielli V Greisen G Plavka R Didrik Saugstad O Simeoni U Speer CP Valls-I-Soler A Halliday H 袁琳(译) 陈超(译) 杜立中(校) 2008中华儿科杂志2008,46,1:17
2Lymphoepitelioma-like hepatocellular carcinoma: A case report and a review of the literature显示文摘Lymphoepitelioma is a particular form of undifferentiat-ed carcinoma, characterized by a prominent lymphoid stroma, originally described in the nasopharynx. Lym-phoid stroma-rich carcinomas arising in other organs have been termed lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma (LELC). In the liver, primary LELCs are very rare, and the majority has been identified as cholangiocarcino-mas. Here a rare case of lymphoepithelioma-like hepa-tocellular carcinoma (HCC) is described. A 47-year old woman presented with abdominal pain. Ultrasonogra-phy revealed a liver nodule, 2.2 cm in diameter, local-ized in the right lobe, adjacent to the gallbladder. Viral markers for hepatic B virus (HBV), hepatic C virus (HCV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) were negative. The nod-ule was hypoechogenic. The patient underwent sur-gery, with resection of the nodule. Histology showed hepatocellular carcinoma, characterized by a promi-nent lymphoid infiltrate. At immunocytochemistry, tumor cells were reactive for Hep Par1 and glypican 3. Immunophenotyping of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes evidenced the predominance of CD8+ cytotoxic sup-pressor T cells. The postoperative clinical outcome was favorable and the patient was recurrence-free 15 mo after resection. This case, to the best of our knowl-edge, is the first reported non EBV and non cirrhosis-associated lymphoepithelioma-like hepatocellular carci-noma. 3pRB expression in esophageal mucosa of individuals at high risk for squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus显示文摘AIM: To investigate the pRb expression in a large group of patients with history of chronic exposure to the main risk factors for development of squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus. METHODS: One hundred and seventy asymptomatic individuals at high risk for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (consumption of more than 80 g of ethanol and 10 cigarettes/d for at least 10 years) underwent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with biopsies of the esophageal mucosa. As a control group, specimens of esophageal mucosa obtained from 20 healthy subjects were also studied. Immunohistochemical assessment of the tissues was performed using a monoclonal antibody anti-pRB protein. RESULTS: Absence of the pRB staining, indicating loss of RB function, was observed in 33 (19.4%) of the individuals at risk for esophageal cancer, but in none of the healthy controls (P < 0.02). Loss of pRb expression increased in a stepwise fashion according to the severity of the histological findings (P < 0.005): normal mucosa (11/97 or 11.3%), chronic esophagitis (17/60 or 28.3%), low-grade dysplasia (3/10 or 30%), high-grade dysplasia 1/2 or 50%) and squamous cell carcinoma (1/1 or 100%). CONCLUSION: Our findings suggest that abnormal expression of the pRB protein may be implicated in the process of esophageal carcinogenesis. 6Polyetheretherketone and titanium surface treatments to modify roughness and wettability–Improvement of bioactivity and antibacterial properties显示文摘Among the materials available for implant production,titanium is the most used while polyetheretherketone(PEEK)is emerging thanks to its stability and to the mechanical properties similar to the ones of the bone tissue.Material surface properties like roughness and wettability play a paramount role in cell adhesion,cell proliferation,osteointegration and implant stability.Moreover,the bacterial adhesion to the biomaterial and the biofilm formation depend on surface smoothness and hydrophobicity.In this work,two different treatments,sandblasting and air plasma,were used to increase respectively roughness and wettability of two materials:titanium and PEEK.Their effects were analyzed with profilometry and contact angle measurements.The biological properties of the material surfaces were also investigated in terms of cell adhesion and proliferation of NIH-3T3 cells,MG63 cells and human Dental Pulp Stem Cells.Moreover,the ability of Staphylococcus aureus to adhere and form a viable biofilm on the samples was evaluated.The biological properties of both treatments and both materials were compared with samples of Synthegra;titanium,which underwent laser ablation to obtain a porous micropatterning,characterized by a smooth surface to discourage bacterial adhesion.All cell types used were able to adhere and proliferate on samples of the tested materials.Cell adhesion was higher on sandblasted PEEK samples for both MG63 and NIH-3T3 cell lines,on the contrary,the highest proliferation rate was observed on sandblasted titanium and was only slightly dependent on wettability;h DPSCs were able to proliferate similarly on sandblasted samples of both tested materials.The highest osteoblast differentiation was observed on laser micropatterned titanium samples,but similar effects,even if limited,were also observed on both sandblasted materials and air plasma treated titanium.The lowest bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation was observed on micropatterned titanium samples whereas,the highest biofilm formation was detected on sandblasted PEEK samples,and in particular on samples not treated with air-plasma,which displayed the highest hydrophobicity.The results of this work showed that all the tested materials were able to sustain osteoblast adhesion and promote cell proliferation;moreover,this work highlights the feasible PEEK treatments which allow to obtain surface properties similar to those of titanium.The results here reported,clearly show that cell behavior depends on a complex combination of surface properties like wettability and roughness and material nature,and while a rough surface is optimal for cell adhesion,a smooth and less hydrophilic surface is the best choice to limit bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation.Davide Porrelli Mario Mardirossian Nicola Crapisi Marco Urban Nicola Andrea Ulian Lorenzo Bevilacqua Gianluca Turco Michele Maglione 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36:2
