1The use of hydrogeochemical analyses and multivariate statistics for the characterization of thermal springs in the Constantine area, Northeastern Algeria显示文摘This paper deals with the results of a hydrogeochemistry study on the thermal waters of the Constantine area, Northeastern Algeria, using geochemical and statistical tools. The samples were collected in December2016 from twelve hot springs and were analyzed for physicochemical parameters(electric conductivity, p H,total dissolved solids, temperature, Ca, Mg, Na, K, HCO_3,Cl, SO_4, and SiO_2). The waters of the thermal springs have temperatures varying from 28 to 51 °C and electric conductivity values ranging from 853 to 5630 l S/cm. Q-mode Cluster analysis resulted in the determination of two major water types: a Ca–HCO_3–SO_4 type with a moderate salinity and a Na–K–Cl type with high salinity. The plot of the major ions versus the saturation indices suggested that the hydrogeochemistry of thermal groundwater is mainly controlled by dissolution/precipitation of carbonate minerals, dissolution of evaporite minerals(halite and gypsum), and ion exchange of Ca(and/or Mg) by Na. The Gibbs diagram shows that evaporation is another factor playing a minor role. Principal Component Analysis produced three significant factors which have 88.2% of totalvariance that illustrate the main processes controlling the chemistry of groundwaters, which are respectively: the dissolution of evaporite minerals(halite and gypsum), ion exchange, and dissolution/precipitation of carbonate minerals. The subsurface reservoir temperatures were calculated using different cation and silica geothermometers and gave temperatures ranging between 17 and 279 °C. The Na–K and Na–K-Ca geothermometers provided high temperatures(up to 279 °C), whereas, estimated geotemperatures from K/Mg geothermometers were the lowest(17–53 °C). Silica geothermometers gave the most reasonable temperature estimate of the subsurface waters overlap between 20 and 58 °C, which indicate possible mixing with cooler Mg groundwaters indicated by the Na–K–Mg plot in the immature water field and in silica and chloride mixing models. The results of stable isotope analyses(δ^(18) O and δ~2 H) suggest that the origin of thermal water recharge is precipitation, which recharged from a higher altitude(600–1200 m) and infiltrated through deep faults and fractures in carbonate formations. They circulate at an estimated depth that does not exceed 2 km and are heated by a high conductive heat flow before rising to the surface through faults that acted as hydrothermal conduits.During their ascent to the surface, they are subjected to various physical and chemical changes such as cooling by conduction and change in their chemical constituents due to the mixing with cold groundwaters.Riad Kouadra Abdeslam Demdoum Nabil Chabour Rebiha Benchikh 2019Acta Geochimica2019,38,2:3

9Viscous Modified Chaplygin Gas in Classical and Loop Quantum Cosmology显示文摘We investigate the cosmological model of viscous modified Chaplygin gas(VMCG) in classical and loop quantum cosmology(LQC). Firstly, we constrain its equation of state parameters in the framework of standard cosmology from Union 2.1 SNe Ia data. Then, we probe the dynamical stability of this model in a universe filled with VMCG and baryonic fluid in LQC background. It is found that the model is very suitable with(X^(2/d.o.f)= 0.974) and gives a good prediction of the current values of the deceleration parameter q_0 =∈(-0.60,-0.57) and the effective state parameter ω_(eff)∈(-0.76,-0.74) that is consistent with the recent observational data. The model can also predict the time crossing when(ρ_(DE) ≈ρmatter) at z = 0.75 and can solve the coincidence problem. In LQC background, the Big Bang singularity found in classical cosmology ceases to exist and is replaced by a bounce when the Hubble parameter vanishes at ρtot≈ρc.D. Aberkane N. Mebarki S. 10Functional Nonparametric Predictions in Food Industry Using Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Measurement显示文摘Functional statistics is a new technique for dealing with data thatcan be viewed as curves or images. Parallel to this approach, the Near-InfraredReflectance (NIR) spectroscopymethodology has been used in modern chemistryas a rapid, low-cost, and exact means of assessing an object’s chemicalproperties. In this research, we investigate the quality of corn and cookiedough by analyzing the spectroscopic technique using certain cutting-edgestatistical models. By analyzing spectral data and applying functional modelsto it, we could predict the chemical components of corn and cookie dough.Kernel Functional Classical Estimation (KFCE), Kernel Functional QuantileEstimation (KFQE), Kernel Functional Expectile Estimation (KFEE),Semi-Partial Linear Functional Classical Estimation (SPLFCE), Semi-PartialLinear Functional Quantile Estimation (SPLFQE), and Semi-Partial LinearFunctional Expectile Estimation (SPLFEE) are models used to accuratelyestimate the different quantities present in Corn and Cookie dough. Theselection of these functional models is based on their ability to constructa forecast region with a high level of confidence. We demonstrate that theconsidered models outperform traditional models such as the partial leastsquaresregression and the principal component regression in terms of predictionaccuracy. Furthermore, we show that the proposed models are morerobust than competing models such as SPLFQE and SPLFEE in the sensethat data heterogeneity has no effect on their efficiency.Ibrahim M.Almanjahie Omar Fetitah Mohammed Kadi Attouch Tawfik Benchikh 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,3:0
11Milk losses due to bovine tropical theileriosis(Theileria annulata infection) in Algeria显示文摘The authors studied the impact of tropical theileriosis onset on milk yield decrease in 10 local bred cows in Skikda(Northern Algeria) during 2015 summer season. The milk yield decrease estimated weekly during two months was 2.76 L/day/cow corresponding to31.92% of the total milk yield. This decrease corresponds to 110.5 Algerian Dinars(1.02US$)/day/diseased cow.The relative variation of milk yield showed a dramatic decrease from 82.72% to 0.76% at Day 21 then became constant.Further studies are needed to improve these estimations of financial losses due to bovine tropical theileriosis in Algeria.Ouarda Ayadi Mohamed Gharbi Mohamed Cherif Benchikh Elfegoun 2016Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2016,6,9:0
12Dynamical Study of a Constant Viscous Dark Energy Model in Classical and Loop Quantum Cosmology显示文摘Dynamical behaviors and stability properties of a flat space Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe filled with pressureless dark matter and viscous dark energy are studied in the context of standard classical and loop quantum cosmology.Assuming that the dark energy has a constant bulk viscosity,it is found that the bulk viscosity effects influence only the quintessence model case leading to the existence of a viscous late time attractor solution of deSitter type, whereas the quantum geometry effects influence the phantom model case where the big rip singularity is removed. Moreover, our results of the Hubble parameter as a function of the redshift are in good agreement with the more recent data.Sara Benchikh Noureddine Mebarki Dalel Aberkane 2016Chinese Physics Letters2016,33,5:0
