1Application of autocorrelation method on ionospheric short--term forecasting in China显示文摘Adopting the autocorrelation method in the ionospheric short-term forecasting, we put for- ward a simple and practical forecasting method― the sectional autocorrelation method, that is, for pre- dictions of one hour to four hours ahead the auto- correlation coefficient of RDF with the “iteration” method is selected, for prediction of more than four hours ahead, the autocorrelation coefficient of f0F2 with the “at once” method is used. The prediction precisions have been quantitatively estimated based on the data from Chongqing and Guangzhou Ionos- onde Stations. It is shown that the method is much improved for the predictions of one hour to four hours ahead. For the predictions of more than four hours ahead the prediction error reaches a saturation value, which is still lower than that of the “median” method. 2Towards high-power, high-coherence, integrated photonic mm Wave platform with microcavity solitons显示文摘Millimetre-wave(mmWave)technology continues to draw great interest due to its broad applications in wireless communications,radar,and spectroscopy.Compared to pure electronic solutions,photonic-based mmWave generation provides wide bandwidth,low power dissipation,and remoting through low-loss fibres.However,at high frequencies,two major challenges exist for the photonic system:the power roll-off of the photodiode,and the large signal linewidth derived directly from the lasers.Here,we demonstrate a new photonic mmWave platform combining integrated microresonator solitons and high-speed photodiodes to address the challenges in both power and coherence.The solitons,being inherently mode-locked,are measured to provide 5.8 dB additional gain through constructive interference among mmWave beatnotes,and the absolute mmWave power approaches the theoretical limit of conventional heterodyne detection at 100 GHz.In our free-running system,the soliton is capable of reducing the mmWave linewidth by two orders of magnitude from that of the pump laser.Our work leverages microresonator solitons and high-speed modified uni-traveling carrier photodiodes to provide a viable path to chip-scale,high-power,low-noise,high-frequency sources for mmWave applications.Beichen Wang Jesse SMorgan Keye Sun Mandana Jahanbozorgi Zijiao Yang Madison Woodson Steven Estrella Andreas Beling Xu Yi 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,1:3
3Metabolomics analysis for skin ulceration syndrome of Apostichopus japonicus based on UPLC/Q-TOF MS显示文摘Skin ulceration syndrome(SUS)is the main diseases aff ected the development of sea cucumber(Apostichopus japonicus)culture industries.To better observe the changes in the sea cucumber A.japonicus with SUS and understand the pathogenesis of the disease,activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),and level of malondialdehyde(MDA)in coelomic fluid were detected using the Assay Kit and metabolites in the body wall were assessed using ultra-performance liquid chromatography and quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry.The results indicated that level of MDA was increased during SUS compared with healthy individuals(P<0.01),but activities of SOD and CAT were reduced(P<0.05).In metabolomics analysis,metabolites,such as adenosine,choline,betaine aldehyde,palmitic acid,and taurine,were found to be upregulated and 2-oxoadipic acid,anthranilic acid(vitamin L1),thioetheramide-PC,cholesterol-3-sulfate,and pentadecanoic acid were downregulated(VIP>1 and P<0.1).Pathway enrichment analysis indicated most enrichment of KEGG pathways were mainly related to energy metabolism,immunity,and osmoregulation such as ABC transporters,glycine,serine and threonine metabolism,tryptophan metabolism and neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction.Our study reflected the difference in enzyme activity and metabolites between A.japonicus with SUS and those without,which will provide reference data for investigating SUS.Yang ZHANG Youquan WANG Xiaoyu LIU Beichen DING Yi SUN Yaqing CHANG Jun DING 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:2

5Spatio-temporal Distribution Characteristics and Environmental Impact Factors of Lung Cancer Mortality: A Case Study of Yuhui District in Bengbu City, China显示文摘Among cancers, lung cancer is the most common cause of death in China. For the prevention and control of lung cancer, it is necessary to investigate the spatial and temporal distribution of lung cancer mortality, as well as the changes in the trend and the affecting mechanism. Based on statistics and auto-correlation analysis, this paper studied the spatial and temporal distribution of lung cancer mortality in Yuhui District, Bengbu, Huaihe River Basin, from 2017 to 2020. In addition, Spearman’s Rank Correlation Assessment Model and Geographic Detector Model were used to examine the relationship between environmental factors and lung cancer mortality to identify impact factors and their mechanisms. The findings indicated that: 1) from the characteristics of temporal distribution, the number of lung cancer deaths exhibited a linear growth tendency, with the highest mortality in winter;2) from the characteristics of spatial distribution, lung cancer mortality showed a strong spatial agglomeration form, concentrating on two clustering areas, located in the old city and the central city of Bengbu, near the Huaihe River;3) from the point of view of the whole research area, there were 15 impact factors with significant correlation in the built and natural environment factors. The significant impacting factors in the built environment included land use, road traffic, spatial form and blue-green space, which could indirectly affect lung cancer mortality, while air pollution and temperature constituted the significant impacting factors in the natural environment;4) the influence of screened environmental factors on lung cancer mortality was different. Spatial stratified heterogeneity assessment, the interaction among environmental factors demonstrated statistical significance, it was found that the interaction between environmental factors in pairs had a significant enhancement effect on lung cancer mortality. 6Molecular characterization and expression of the SiUCP2 gene in sea urchin Strongylocentrotus intermedius显示文摘Uncoupling protein 2 (UCP2) is a proton transporter located in the inner mitochondrial membrane, and inhibits the formation of adenosine triphosphate and reactive oxygen species by uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation. To provide a theoretical basis for the role of SiUCP2 in lipid metabolism, a 2 341-bp full-length cDNA of SiUCP2 from sea urchin Strongylocentrotus intermedius , which encodes 323 amino acids (predicted MW 36.11 kDa) was obtained, and the structure and function of the SiUCP2 gene and its expression at the mRNA and protein level were studied. SiUCP2 had high homology with UCP2 of other species. Expression of SiUCP2 was detected in the order of tube feet > gonads > coelomocytes > intestines. The expression level was the highest in prismatic larvae and lowest in the two-cell stage. Moreover, using in-situ hybridization, we found that SiUCP2 protein was expressed in the gonads and intestine. 7Phase transition of SrCo_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3) electrocatalysts and their effects on oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Complex metal oxide has emerged as an important class of electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)because of its flexibility in the crystal phase and relative ease in the control of defect structures.While different crystalline phases and solid structures may be produced from the same reactant precursors,their phase transitions and OER performances are not well understood.In this work,we present the preparation of different phases of SrCo_(0.9)Fe_(0.1)O_(3-δ)(nominal ratio)solids using a sol-gel method and the structure-catalytic property relationship of both crystalline and amorphous structures formed at different temperatures.We observed as synthetic temperature increased,phase and composition transitions occurred from the amorphous phase to strontium carbonate and cobalt oxide,to oxygen-deficient perovskite,and finally to perovskite.The OER activity depended highly on crystal structures.The oxygen-deficient perovskite prepared at 750℃ exhibited the highest catalytic activity,while the perovskite showed the lowest activity.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis reveals the change of oxidation state occurred during the phase transition.This work provides a useful guideline for the design of OER electrocatalysts through controlling the crystal structures and defects in complex metal oxides,such as perovskite.Cheng Zhang Fangfang Wang Mariam Batool Beichen Xiong Hong Yang 2022SusMat2022,2,4:0
8Radio-frequency line-by-line Fourier synthesis based on optical soliton microcombs显示文摘Radio-frequency(RF) waveform synthesis has broad applications in ultrawide-bandwidth wireless communications, radar systems, and electronic testing. Photonic-based approaches offer key advantages in bandwidth and phase noise thanks to the ultrahigh optical carrier frequency. In this work, we demonstrate Fourier synthesis arbitrary waveform generation(AWG) with integrated optical microresonator solitons. The RF temporal waveform is synthesized through line-by-line amplitude and phase shaping of an optical soliton microcomb, which is down-converted to the RF domain through dual-comb optical coherent sampling. A variety of RF waveforms with tunable repetition cycles are shown in our demonstration. 9Distinct gene expression pattern of RUNX1 mutations coordinated by target repression and promoter hypermethylation in acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Runt-related transcription factor 1(RUNX1)is an essential regulator of normal hematopoiesis.Its dysfunction,caused by either fusions or mutations,is frequently reported in acute myeloid leukemia(AML).However,RUNX1 mutations have been largely under-explored compared with RUNX1 fusions mainly due to their elusive genetic characteristics.Here,based on 1741 patients with AML,we report a unique expression pattern associated with RUNX1 mutations in AML.This expression pattern was coordinated by target repression and promoter hypermethylation.We first reanalyzed a joint AML cohort that consisted of three public cohorts and found that RUNX1 mutations were mainly distributed in the Runt domain and almost mutually exclusive with NPM1 mutations.Then,based on RNA-seq data from The Cancer Genome Atlas AML cohort,we developed a 300-gene signature that significantly distinguished the patients with RUNX1 mutations from those with other AML subtypes.Furthermore,we explored the mechanisms underlying this signature from the transcriptional and epigenetic levels.Using chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing data,we found that RUNX1 target genes tended to be repressed in patients with RUNX1 mutations.Through the integration of DNA methylation array data,we illustrated that hypermethylation on the promoter regions of RUNX1-regulated genes also contributed to dysregulation in RUNX1-mutated AML.This study revealed the distinct gene expression pattern of RUNX1 mutations and the underlying mechanisms in AML development.Jingming Li Wen Jin Yun Tan Beichen Wang Xiaoling Wang Ming Zhao Kankan Wang 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,4:0
10Surface Modification of Rice Husk Ash by Ethanol-assisted Milling to Reinforce the Properties of Natural Rubber/Butadiene Rubber Composites显示文摘Rice husk ash(RHA),obtained by pyrolysis of rice husks,can be used as a potential reinforcing filler for rubber composites.In this work,ball milling in ethanol(ethanol-assisted milling)was used to hydroxylate the surface of RHA,promoting the graft modification of bis-(γ-triethoxysilylpropyl)-tetrasulfide(Si69).The obtained modified RHA(RHA-EM-Si69)was filled into the natural rubber/butadiene rubber(NR/BR)composites,and the filler-rubber interactions were enhanced.In consequence,RHA-EM-Si69 filled NR/BR composites showed overall improvement in the mechanical properties compared with RHA filled NR/BR composites.The tear strength increased from 13.37 kN/m to 34.71 kN/m,and the tensile strength increased from 1.84 MPa to 7.75 MPa.Carbon black(N774)was also used for comparison under the same conditions.This method provides a potential for promoting the value of RHA in rubber industry.CHEN Zhixiao QIAN Miaomiao LIU Chang XUE Beichen YULiyun ZHU Yanchao WANG Xiaofeng 2021Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,3:0

12Distinct Assembly Mechanisms for Prokaryotic and Microeukaryotic Communities in the Water of Qinghai Lake显示文摘Assembly processes of prokaryotic and microeukaryotic community is an important issue in microbial ecology.However,unclear remains about the relative contribution of deterministic and stochastic processes to the shaping of prokaryotic and microeukaryotic communities in saline lake water.Here,we systematically investigated the assembly processes governing the prokaryotic and microeukaryotic communities in Qinghai Lake with the use of Illumina sequencing and a null model.The results showed that both deterministic and stochastic processes play vital roles in shaping the assemblies of prokaryotic and microeukaryotic communities,in which stochastic processes appeared to dominate(> 70%).Prokaryotic communities were mainly governed by non-dominant processes(60.4%),followed by homogeneous selection(15.8%),variable selection(13.6%) and dispersal limitation(10.2%),whereas microeukaryotes were strongly driven by non-dominant processes(68.9%),followed by variable selection(23.6%) and homogenizing dispersal(6.3%).In terms of variable selection,nutrients(e.g.,ammonium,dissolved inorganic carbon,dissolved organic carbon and total nitrogen) were the major factors influencing prokaryotic and microeukaryotic community structures.In summary,prokaryotes and microeukaryotes can be predominantly structured by different assembly mechanisms,in which stochasticity is stronger than deterministic processes.This finding helps to better comprehend the assembly of prokaryotic and eukaryotic communities in saline lakes.Mingxian Han Jianrong Huang Jian Yang Beichen Wang Xiaoxi Sun Hongchen Jiang 2023Journal of Earth Science2023,34,4:0
13Coal and rock dynamic disaster prevention and control technology in the large mining face of a deep outburst mine显示文摘In this study, we systematically studied the occurrence regularity of in situ stress in the Pingdingshan mine. The critical criterion model of coal-rock destabilization was established based on the theoretical framework of fracture mechanics. Furthermore, we analyzed the coupling destabilization mechanism of in situ stress and gas and studied the influence of the variation between original rock stress and mining-induced stress on the critical criterion. Through field experiments and applications, we established a three-dimensional gas drainage technology system for areas with a large mining height and long work face. Based on our research, a demonstration project was developed for deep mine dynamic disaster control. The technical system included the arrangement and optimization of pre-drainage holes along the coal seam, technology, and optimization of gas drainage through the bottom drainage tunnel and upper corner, gas drainage technology through sieve tubes, and a two plugging with one injection under pressure sealing technology.
