1Multi-scale object detection by top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network显示文摘While moving ahead with the object detection technology, especially deep neural networks, many related tasks, such as medical application and industrial automation, have achieved great success. However, the detection of objects with multiple aspect ratios and scales is still a key problem. This paper proposes a top-down and bottom-up feature pyramid network(TDBU-FPN),which combines multi-scale feature representation and anchor generation at multiple aspect ratios. First, in order to build the multi-scale feature map, this paper puts a number of fully convolutional layers after the backbone. Second, to link neighboring feature maps, top-down and bottom-up flows are adopted to introduce context information via top-down flow and supplement suboriginal information via bottom-up flow. The top-down flow refers to the deconvolution procedure, and the bottom-up flow refers to the pooling procedure. Third, the problem of adapting different object aspect ratios is tackled via many anchor shapes with different aspect ratios on each multi-scale feature map. 2Characteristics of CO_2 sequestration in saline aquifers显示文摘Storage of CO2 in saline aquifers is a viable option for reducing the amount of CO2 released to the atmosphere. This paper provides an overall review of CO2 sequestration in saline aquifers. First,the principles of CO2 sequestration are presented,including CO2 phase behavior,CO2-water-rock interaction,and CO2 trapping mechanisms. Then storage capacity and CO2 injectivity are discussed as the main determinants of the storage potential of saline aquifers. Next,a site section process is addressed considering basin characteristics,reservoir characteristics,and economic and social concerns. Three main procedures are then presented to investigate the suitability of a site for CO2 sequestration,including site screening,detailed site characterization,and pilot fi eld-scale test. The methods for these procedures are also presented,such as traditional site characterization methods,laboratory experiments,and numerical simulation. 3Organic photovoltaic cell with 17% efficiency and superior processability显示文摘The development of organic photoactive materials,especially the newly emerging non-fullerene electron acceptors(NFAs),has enabled rapid progress in organic photovoltaic(OPV)cells in recent years.Although the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of the top-performance OPV cells have surpassed 16%,the devices are usually fabricated via a spin-coating method and are not suitable for large-area production.Here,we demonstrate that the fine-modification of the flexible side chains of NFAs can yield 17%PCE for OPV cells.More crucially,as the optimal NFA has a suitable solubility and thus a desirable morphology,the high efficiencies of spin-coated devices can be maintained when using scalable blade-coating processing technology.Our results suggest that optimization of the chemical structures of the OPV materials can improve device performance.This has great significance in larger-area production technologies that provide important scientific insights for the commercialization of OPV cells.Yong Cui Huifeng Yao Ling Hong Tao Zhang Yabing Tang Baojun Lin Kaihu Xian Bowei Gao Cunbin An Pengqing Bi Wei Ma Jianhui Hou 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:7
4The Seasonal Acclimatisation of Locomotion in a Terrestrial Reptile, Plestiodon chinensis(Scincidae)显示文摘Studies of the seasonal acclimatisation of behavioural and physiological processes usually focus on aquatic or semi-aquatic ectotherms and focus less effort on terrestrial ectotherms that experience more thermally heterogeneous environments. We conducted comparative studies and thermal acclimation experiments on the locomotion of the Chinese skink(Plestiodon chinensis) to test whether seasonal acclimatisation in locomotion exists in these terrestrial ectothermic vertebrates, and whether seasonal acclimatisation is predominantly induced by thermal environments. In natural populations, skinks ran faster during the summer season than during the spring season at high-test temperatures ranging from 27°C to 36°C but not at low-test temperatures ranging from 18°C to 24°C. In contrast, the thermal acclimation experiments showed that the cold-acclimated skinks ran faster than the warm-acclimated skinks at the lowtest temperatures but not at high-test temperatures. Therefore, the seasonal acclimatisation occurs to P. chinensis, and may be induced by temperature as well as other factors like food availability, as indicated by the seasonal variation in the thermal dependence of locomotion, and the discrepancy between seasonal acclimatisation and thermal acclimation on locomotion.Baojun Sun Wenqi Tang Zhigao Zeng Weiguo Du 2014Asian Herpetological Research2014,5,3:4
5Influence of Synthesis Parameters with Low Seed Addition on the Crystallinity of ZSM-5显示文摘ZSM-5 zeolite microparticles(MPs)were synthesized under hydrothermal condition using a low crystal seed addition approach without template.The synthesis parameters such as the seed addition amount,the SiO2/Al2O3ratio,the aluminum source,the feeding addition method,aging,and crystallization were investigated.The structure,morphology and composition of the as-synthesized ZSM-5 zeolite MPs were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),laser particle size distribution(PSD)measurements,and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES).The SiO2/Al2O3ratio of ZSM-5 zeolite MPs was in the range of 20—80.The low seed addition was beneficial to improving the crystallinity and shortening the crystallization time,and the suitable amount of seed was 0.25%(SiO2).The ZSM-5 zeolite MPs synthesized with aluminium nitrate nonahydrate used as the aluminum source exhibited a relatively high crystallinity.An appropriate aging time could eliminate the effect of feeding addition method and effectively adjust particle size.The particle size of ZSM-5 zeolite obtained at an aging time of 20 h was around 2.0μm.Prolonging the aging time appropriately could also shorten the high-temperature crystallization time.The suitable aging time was 24 h,and the relative crystallinity of ZSM-5 zeolite could reach up to 99%after crystallization for 24 h at 180℃.Wang Songlin Wei Huijuan Tang Ying Wang Xiangyu Li Baojun 2013China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2013,15,4:3
6Profiles of phenolics,carotenoids and antioxidative capacities of thermal processed white,yellow,orange and purple sweet potatoes grown in Guilin,China显示文摘The objectives of this study were to systematically compare phenolic profiles,carotenoids profiles and antioxidant activities of raw and cooked sweet potatoes of five varieties(white,yellow,orange,light purple and deep purple).Total phenolic content(TPC),monomeric anthocyanin content(MAC),total carotenoid content(TCC),2-diohenyl-1-picryhydrazyl(DPPH)free radical scavenging capacities and ferric reducing antioxidant powder(FRAP)were determined by colorimetric methods.Higher anthocyanin contents and antioxidant capacities were detected in purple sweet potato species,while higher carotenoid contents were detected in yellow and orange sweet potato.All cooked sweet potato exhibited significantly(p<0.05)lower TPC,MAC,TCC,DPPH and FRAP values as compared to the respective raw samples.Under the same cooking time,steaming was good for the retention of TPC,roasting was good for keeping anthocyanins,and boiling was beneficial to preserve carotenoids.Yayuan Tang Weixi Cai Baojun Xu 2015Food Science and Human Wellness2015,4,3:3
7Syntenic quantitative trait loci and genomic divergence for Sclerotinia resistance and ?owering time in Brassica napus显示文摘Oilseed rape(Brassica napus) is an allotetraploid with two subgenomes descended from a common ancestor. Accordingly, its genome contains syntenic regions with many duplicate genes, some of which may have retained their original functions, whereas others may have diverged. Here, we mapped quantitative trait loci(QTL) for stem rot resistance(SRR), a disease caused by the fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, and flowering time(FT) in a recombinant inbred line population. The population was genotyped using B.napus 60 K single nucleotide polymorphism arrays and phenotyped in six(FT) and nine(SSR) experimental conditions or environments. In total, we detected 30 SRR QTL and 22 FT QTL and show that some of the major QTL associated with these two traits were co-localized,suggesting a genetic linkage between them. Two SRR QTL on chromosome A2 and two on chromosome C2 were shown to be syntenic, suggesting the functional conservation of these regions. We used the syntenic properties of the genomic regions to exclude genes for selection candidates responsible for QTL-associated traits. For example, 152 of the 185 genes could be excluded from a syntenic A2–C2 region.
