2Effect of iridium loading on HZSM-5 for isomerization of n-heptane显示文摘The effect of iridium loading on the properties and catalytic isomerization of n-heptane over Ir-HZSM-5 is studied. Ir-HZSM-5 was prepared by impregnation method and subjected to isomerization process in the presence of flowing hydrogen gas. XRD and BET studies show that the presence of iridium stabilizes the crystalline structure of HZSM-5, leading to more ordered framework structure and larger surface area. TGA and FTIR results substantiate that iridium species interacts with OH group on the surface of HZSM-5. Pyridine FT-IR study verifies the interaction between iridium and surface OH group slightly increased the Bro¨nsted and Lewis acid sites without changing the lattice structure of HZSM-5. 3Rabi oscillation generation in the microring resonator system with double-series ring resonators显示文摘In this paper, a microring resonator(MRR) system using double-series ring resonators is proposed to generate and investigate the Rabi oscillations. The system is made up of silicon-on-insulator and attached to bus waveguide which is used as propagation and oscillation medium. The scattering matrix method is employed to determine the output signal intensity which acts as the input source between two-level Rabi oscillation states, where the increase of Rabi oscillation frequency with time is obtained at the resonant state. The population probability of the excited state is higher and unstable at the optical resonant state due to the nonlinear spontaneous emission process. 4A Potential Approach to Enhance the Seebeck Coefficient of UHMWPE by Using the Graphene Oxide显示文摘Thermoelectric materials have been a competent source for the production of energy in the present decade.The most important and potential parameter required for the material to have better thermoelectric characteristics is the Seebeck coefficient.In this work,ultra high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)and graphene oxide(GO)nanocomposites were prepared by mechanical mixing by containing 10000ppm,50000ppm,70000ppm,100000ppm,150000ppm,and 200000ppm loadings of graphene oxide.Due to the intrinsic insulating nature of UHMWPE,the value of Seebeck for pristine UHMWPE and its nanocomposites with 10000ppm&50000ppm of GO concentration was too low to be detected.However,the Seebeck coefficient for composites with 70000ppm,100000ppm,150000ppm,and 200000ppm loadings of GO was found to be 180,206,230,and 235μV/K,respectively.These higher values of Seebeck coefficients were attributed to the superior thermal insulating nature of UHMWPE and the conductive network induced by the GO within the UHMWPE insulating matrix.Although,the values of the figure of merit and power factor were negligibly small due to the lower concentration of charge carriers in UHMWPE/GO nanocomposites but still reported,results are extremely hopeful for considering the composite as the potential candidate for thermoelectric applications.Aqsa Irfan Malik Naqash Mehmood Malik Sajjad Mehmood Arif Aziz Mansoor Ahmad Baluch Muhammad Rizwan Tariq Yasin 2020Non-Metallic Material Science2020,2,2:0
5机匣凹槽对轴流压气机性能的影响显示文摘燃气轮机压气机的稳定运行范围由于每级最大负荷而减少。最大性能与稳定运行状态密切相关,如果运行状态发生一些快速变化,则会导致流动失稳,并导致旋转失速。为避免这种情况,应保持适当的失速裕度,使轴流压气机性能更好。通过叶尖和机匣壁面处理可以提高失速裕度。为提高轴流压气机的失速裕度,机匣处理被广泛用于被动流动控制。当前的CFD研究使用NASA转子37通过有限体积技术离散3D RANS方程来研究凹槽的性能。为了验证转子37,对一个通道进行了稳态仿真。仿真结果与总压比和效率的实验测量数据非常吻合。根据收敛标准来预测失速。提出了矩形端壁凹槽模型并进行了数值验证。对矩形凹槽和光滑壁面的性能进行对比评估,发现与光滑壁面相比,矩形凹槽的失速裕度增加了6.37%。通过安装凹槽使TLV减至最小,矩形CGCT模型减少了涡流停滞区,有助于延迟失速的发生。机匣凹槽显著提高了轴流压气机的失速裕度,但导致了效率的略微下降。Naseem Ahmad Ghulam Ishaque Arif Aziz Zubair Ali Shah Mushayyed Muhammad Ali Khan 郑群 2021风机技术2021,63,5:0
6Negative effect of Ni on PtHY in n-pentane isomerization evidenced by IR and ESR studies显示文摘Ni/PtHY with different Ni loadings was prepared by impregnating HY with hexachloroplatinic acid solution and Ni2+/N,N-dimethylformamide solution. An increase in the Ni loading decreased the crystallinity, specific surface area and meso-micropores of the catalysts. Ni interacted with hydroxyl groups to produce IR absorption bands at 3740-3500 cm-1. Increasing Ni loadings resulted in a decrease in the intensities of the broad bands at 3730-3500 cm-1 and the sharp band at 3740 cm-1 with simultaneous development of new absorbance band at 3700 cm-1 that was attributed to (-OH)Ni. The acidity of the samples did not significantly change with Ni loadings up to 1.0 wt%, which indicated that Ni mostly interacts with non-acidic silanol groups (terminal- and structural-defect OH groups). The presence of Ni decreased the activity of PtHY toward the isomerization of n-pentane because of a decrease in the number of active protonic-acid sites that formed from molecular hydrogen. IR and ESR studies confirmed that Pt facilitated the formation of protonic-acid sites from molecular hydrogen, whereas Ni, even when combined with Pt, didn't exhibit such ability. 7Improving Quantitative and Qualitative Characteristics of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) through Nitrogen Application under Semiarid Conditions显示文摘Nitrogen(N),the building block of plant proteins and enzymes,is an essential macronutrient for plant functions.A field experiment was conducted to investigate the impact of different N application rates(28,57,85,114,142,171,and 200 kg ha^(−1))on the performance of spring wheat(cv.Ujala-2016)during the 2017–2018 and 2018–2019 growing seasons.A control without N application was kept for comparison.Two years mean data showed optimum seed yield(5,461.3 kg ha^(−1))for N-application at 142 kg ha^(−1) whereas application of lower and higher rates of N did not result in significant and economically higher seed yield.A higher seed yield was obtained in the 2017–2018(5,595 kg ha^(−1))than in the 2018–2019(5,328 kg ha^(−1))growing seasons under an N application of 142 kg ha^(−1).It was attributed to the greater number of growing degree days in the first(1,942.35°C days)than in the second year(1,813.75°C).Higher rates of N(171 and 200 kg ha^(−1))than 142 kg ha^(−1) produced more number of tillers(i.e.,948,300 and 666,650 ha^(−1),respectively).However,this increase did not contribute in achieving higher yields.Application of 142,171,and 200 kg ha^(−1) resulted in 14.15%,15.0%and 15.35%grain protein concentrations in comparison to 13.15%with the application of 114 kg ha^(−1).It is concluded that the application of N at 142 kg ha^(−1) could be beneficial for attaining higher grain yields and protein concentrations of wheat cultivar Ujala-2016.Muhammad Rafiq Muhammad Saqib Husnain Jawad Talha Javed Sadam Hussain Muhammad Arif Baber Ali Muhammad Sultan Ali Bazmi Ghulam Abbas Marjan Aziz Mohammad Khalid Al-Sadoon Aneela Gulnaz Sobhi F.Lamlom Muhammad Azeem Sabir Jameel Akhtar 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,4:0
8A Flexible Architecture for Cryptographic Applications: ECC and PRESENT显示文摘This work presents a flexible/unified hardware architecture of Elliptic-curve Cryptography(ECC)and PRESENT for cryptographic applications.The features of the proposed work are(i)computation of only the point multiplication operation of ECC over GF(2163)for a 163-bit key generation,(ii)execution of only the variant of an 80-bit PRESENT block cipher for data encryption&decryption and(iii)execution of point multiplication operation(ECC algorithm)along with the data encryption and decryption(PRESENT algorithm).To establish an area overhead for the flexible design,dedicated hardware architectures of ECC and PRESENT are implemented in the first step,and a sum of their hardware area is computed.Then,the implementation of the proposed flexible architecture for ECC and PRESENT algorithms is presented.Implementation results regarding the area,clock cycles,latency,clock frequency,and power after the place-and-route level on Xilinx Virtex-5,Virtex-6,and Virtex-7 FPGA devices are presented.Hence,the implementation results and comparisons show that the proposed architecture suits applications demanding flexible implementation of cryptographic applications.Muhammad Rashid Omar S.Sonbul Muhammad Arif Furqan Aziz Qureshi Saud.S.Alotaibi Mohammad H.Sinky 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,7:0
