3Exploiting oleic acid to prepare two-dimensional assembly of Si@graphitic carbon yolk-shell nanoparticles for lithium-ion battery anodes显示文摘Carbon coati ng has bee n a routi ne strategy for improvi ng the performa nee of Si-based anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The ability to tailor the thick ness, homoge neity and graph itizati on degree of carb on-coati ng layers is esse ntial for addressi ng issues that hamper the real applicatio ns of Si anodes. Herein, we report the con structio n of two-dime nsional (2D) assemblies of intercon nected Si @ graphitic carb on yolk-shell nano particles (2D-Si@gC) from commercial Si powders by exploiting oleic acid (OA). The OA molecules act as both the surface-coati ng liga nds for facilitating 2D nano particle assembly and the precursor for forming uniform and conformal graphitic shells as thin as 4 nm. The as-prepared 2D-Si@gC with rationally designed void space exhibits excellent rate capability and cycling stability when used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, delivering a capacity of 1,150 mAh·g^-1 at an ultrahigh current density of 10 A·g^-1 and maintaining a stabilized capacity of 1,275 mAh·g^-1 after 200 cycles at 4 A·g^-1 The formatio n of yolk-shell nano particles 8nfines the depositi on of solid electrolyte in terphase (SEI) onto the outer carb on shell, while simulta neously providing sufficie nt space for volumetric expa nsion of Si nano particles. 7Multi-chambered,carbon-coated Ni_(0.4)Fe_(2.6)O_(4) nanoparticle superlattice microspheres for boosting water oxidation reaction显示文摘Developing active and robust non-noble-metal-based electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is of vital practical significance for accelerating the kinetics of water splitting.Here,a novel double emulsion template method is proposed to design and prepare hierarchically multichambered,carbon-coated Ni_(0.4)Fe_(2.6)O_(4) nanoparticle superlattice microspheres(M-NFO@C-NSMs)for the highly efficient oxygen evolution.The high-temperature calcination under inert gas enables an improved electrochemical property by rationally transforming the long-chain organic capping ligands into partially graphitized uniform carbon coatings.More importantly,benefiting from the unique hierarchical superstructure with macro-/meso-/microporosities and three-dimensional continuous conductive carbon frameworks,M-NFO@C-NSMs exhibit comprehensively enhanced OER activity in a dilute alkaline electrolyte as compared to their solid counterparts and most spinelbased electrocatalysts reported to date.Notably,the collective property of supraparticles endowed M-NFO@C-NSMs with superior long-term cyclic stability.This work sheds light on the sophisticated design of functionalized supraparticles for efficient water splitting.Mingzhong Li Yuwei Deng Guanhong Wu Shuqing Xue Yancui Yan Zihan Liu Jinxiang Zou Dong Yang Angang Dong 2021Aggregate2021,2,2:0
8Thermal and pH Dual Responsive Copolymer and Silver Nanoparticle Composite for Catalytic Application显示文摘N-Isopropylacrylamide and vinyl imidazole copolymer,P(NIPAM-co-VI),was synthesized by free radical emulsion polymerization.Then,the copolymer and silver nanoparticle composite,P(NIPAM-co-VI)-Ag,was pre-pared by in situ reduction of AgNO3 with NaBH4.Due to the coexistence of thermal-responsive PNIPAM and pH-responsive PVI,P(NIPAM-co-VI)and P(NIPAM-co-VI)-Ag exhibited both thermal and pH responsibility,their size would change while altering the temperature or pH of the circumvent.Their thermal and pH dual responsive properties were studied by dynamic light scattering(DLS).P(NIPAM-co-VI)-Ag could be stably dispersed in water at a pH range from 3.0 to 9.3,which is favorable to use P(NIPAM-co-VI)-Ag as a catalyst in the reduction reaction of p-nitrophenol.The reaction rate constant(kapp)increased with the decrease of pH or the increase of VI content in the copolymer.Luqman Ali Shah Wulian Chen Mohammad Siddiq Jianhua Hu Angang Dong Dong Yang 2015Chinese Journal of Chemistry2015,33,4:0
9Generalized assembly of sandwich-like 0D/2D/0D heterostructures with highly exposed surfaces toward superior electrochemical performances显示文摘Heterostructures composed of two-dimensional(2D)nanosheets and zero-dimensional(0D)nanoparticles(NPs)have attracted increasing attention because of the synergy arising from the coupling interactions between the two mixed-dimensional components.Despite recent advances,it remains a challenge to fabricate 2D/0D heterostructures with clean and accessible surfaces,which is highly desirable for the diversity of catalytic,sensing,and energy storage applications.Herein,we report a generalized methodology that enables the facile assembly of sandwich-like 0D/2D/0D heterostructures with facilitated mass-transport channels and exposed surface active sites.A ligand-exchange strategy with HBF4 is employed to strip off the surface-coating ligands of colloidal NPs,rendering them positively charged and dispersible in polar solvents.This allows subsequent electrostatic assembly of NPs with oppositely charged 2D nanosheets to afford sandwich-like 0D/2D/0D heterostructures.The barely covered surfaces and the advantageous architectures of such sandwich-like 0D/2D/0D heterostructures induce the desired synergistic effect,making them particularly suitable for electrochemical energy storage and conversion.We demonstrate this by employing MXene/NiFe_(2)O_(4) and MXene/Fe3O4 heterostructures for high-performance electrocatalytic oxygen evolution and supercapacitors,respectively.Shuqing Xue Guanhong Wu Mingzhong Li Zihan Liu Yuwei Deng Wenqian Han Xuanyu Lv Siyu Wan Xiangyun Xi Dong Yang Angang Dong 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:0

11Aberrantly high activation of a FoxM1-STMN1 axis contributes to progression and tumorigenesis in FoxMl-driven cancers显示文摘Fork-head box protein M1(FoxM1)is a transcriptional factor which plays critical roles in cancer development and progression.However,the general regulatory mechanism of FoxM1 is still limited.STMN1 is a microtubule-binding protein which can inhibit the assembly of microtubule dimer or promote depolymerization of microtubules.It was reported as a major responsive factor of paclitaxel resistance for clinical chemotherapy of tumor patients.But the function of abnormally high level of STMN1 and its regulation mechanism in cancer cells remain unclear.In this study,we used public database and tissue microarrays to analyze the expression pattern of FoxM1 and STMN1 and found a strong positive correlation between FoxM1 and STMN1 in multiple types of cancer.Lentivirus-mediated FoxM1/STMN1-knockdown cell lines were established to study the function of FoxM1/STMN1 by performing cell viability assay,plate clone formation assay,soft agar assay in vitro and xenograft mouse model in vivo.Our results showed that FoxMl promotes cell proliferation by upregulating STMN1.Further ChIP assay showed that FoxM1 upregulates STMN1 in a transcriptional level.Prognostic analysis showed that a high level of FoxM1 and STMN1 is related to poor prognosis in solid tumors.Moreover,a high co-expression of FoxM1 and STMN1 has a more significant correlation with poor prognosis.Our findings suggest that a general FoxMl-STMN1 axis contributes to cell proliferation and tumorigenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma,gastric cancer and colorectal cancer.The combination of FoxM1 and STMN1 can be a more precise biomarker for prognostic prediction.Jun Liu Jipeng Li Ke Wang Haiming Liu Jianyong Sun Xinhui Zhao Yanping Yu Yihuan Qiao Ye Wu Xiaofang Zhang Rui Zhang Angang Yang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,3:0
