1Analysis and Prediction of Influence Imposed on Jiaozhou Bay Tidal Currents and Tidal Energy of M_2 Tidal System by Jiaozhou Bay Reclamation显示文摘The 3-D ECOMSED ocean model was applied to establish a time-dependent boundary model for Jiaozhou Bay (JZB), in which the operator-splitting technique was used and the ‘dry and wet’ method was introduced. The influence caused by JZB reclamation on the surface level, residual currents, tidal system and tidal energy of M2 tidal system were predicted and analyzed. The results show that JZB reclamation has slight impact on the M2 tidal system, in which the variation of amplitude and phase is less than 1%.The changes of the currents and residual currents in Qian Bay and near the reclamation areas are greater, but in other areas the changes are smaller, in which the currents have a change of around 1%, while the residual currents change ranges from 1.82%–9.61%. After reclamation, the tidal energy fluxes increase by 2.62%–5.24% inside and outside the JZB mouth, but decrease by 20.21%–87.23% near Qian Bay and the reclamation area.LOU Angang HU Yuebo KUANG Liang ZHANG Xueqing DU Peng 2009Journal of Ocean University of China2009,8,1:5

4Spatial pattern dynamics among co-dominant populations in early secondary forests in Southwest China显示文摘The canopy of subtropical natural forests usually consists of several co-dominant populations(CDPs),which play a crucial role in forest structure,formation of the forest environment,and ecological function.However,little attention has been given to changes in spatial patterns in CDPs during natural succession.Cyclobalanopsis glauca(Thunb.)Oerst.,Quercus variabilis Blume,and Pinus yunnanensis var.tenuifolia W.C.Cheng & Y.W.Law are canopy species that form CDPs in zonal forests along the Nanpan River in southwest China.We used the g(r) function and its bivariate distribution model,g_(12)(r),which is based on distances between pairs of points,to explore the dynamics of the three CDP species with respect to distribution patterns and spatial correlations in two secondary forests(one 30-year-old forest [30-YF] and one 57-year-old forest [57-YF]).The following key results were obtained:(1) there was a clumped pattern in the 30-YF,but the intensity of aggregation varied among populations and life stages.The distribution pattern gradually shifted to become random with longer succes sion time(i.e.,30-YF vs.57-YF),expansion of the observation scale(r=0-20 m),and at later life stages.(2) Aside from the mid-sized C.glauca trees and large P.yunnanensis trees,the trees repulsed each other at certain scales(r=0-2,5-6,11-12,14-16 m) in the 30-YF.Almost all of the life stages in the CDPs were independently correlated.This independent correlation was exacerbated by a longer succession time.(3) An increase in life stages and longer succession also promoted independent changes in intraspecific correlations.(4) Intraspecific correlations were stronger than interspecific correlations.Our results showed that reducing exclusive competition is essential to coexistence in CDPs.Inter-and intra-specific repulsion may occur at the same time,but intraspecific repulsion was the main driving force behind the random distributions and independent correlations.Yuanfa Li Minghui Li Angang Ming Hongxiang Wang Sufang Yu Shaoming Ye 2021Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,4:3
5Exploiting oleic acid to prepare two-dimensional assembly of Si@graphitic carbon yolk-shell nanoparticles for lithium-ion battery anodes显示文摘Carbon coati ng has bee n a routi ne strategy for improvi ng the performa nee of Si-based anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The ability to tailor the thick ness, homoge neity and graph itizati on degree of carb on-coati ng layers is esse ntial for addressi ng issues that hamper the real applicatio ns of Si anodes. Herein, we report the con structio n of two-dime nsional (2D) assemblies of intercon nected Si @ graphitic carb on yolk-shell nano particles (2D-Si@gC) from commercial Si powders by exploiting oleic acid (OA). The OA molecules act as both the surface-coati ng liga nds for facilitating 2D nano particle assembly and the precursor for forming uniform and conformal graphitic shells as thin as 4 nm. The as-prepared 2D-Si@gC with rationally designed void space exhibits excellent rate capability and cycling stability when used as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, delivering a capacity of 1,150 mAh·g^-1 at an ultrahigh current density of 10 A·g^-1 and maintaining a stabilized capacity of 1,275 mAh·g^-1 after 200 cycles at 4 A·g^-1 The formatio n of yolk-shell nano particles 8nfines the depositi on of solid electrolyte in terphase (SEI) onto the outer carb on shell, while simulta neously providing sufficie nt space for volumetric expa nsion of Si nano particles. 17Investigations of Inclusion Modification in High Grade Pipeline Steel显示文摘SiCa line was injected into liquid pipeline steel at the end of LF refining as calcium treatment, and samples were taken from liquid steel in ladles before and after calcium treatment, liquid steel in mould, and slabs. Results show that Ca content in steel decreased obviously after calcium treatment with production, and the compositions, morphologies and sizes of inclusions in steel also varied with time; Al2O3 inclusions turned to be fine irregular CaS-CaO-Al2O3 compound inclusions after calcium treatment, and then to be fine globular CaO-Al2O3 inclusions in mould, and finally changed to be a few larger irregular CaS-CaO-Al2O3 complex inclusions in slabs; reoxidation of molten steel treated by Ca deteriorates effect of calcium treatment. Thermodynamic study revealed that inclusion variations were related with preferential reactions among Ca, Al2O3 and S and precipitation of S in high sulfur capacity CaO-Al2O3 inclusions.
