| 2 | The treatment of Parkinson's disease with deep brain stimulation: current issues显示文摘Deep brain stimulation has become a well-established symptomatic treatment for Parkinson's disease during the last 25 years. Besides improving motor symptoms and long-term motor complications, positive effects on patients' mobility, activities of daily living, emotional well-being and health-related quality of life have been recognized. Apart from that, numerous clinical trials analyzed effects on non-motor symptoms and side effects of deep brain stimulation. Several technical issues and stimulation paradigms have been and are still being developed to optimize the therapeutic effects, minimize the side effects and facilitate handling. This review summarizes current therapeutic issues, i.e., patient and target selection, surgical procedure and programming paradigms. | 3 | Effect of welding parameters on the heat-affected zone of AISI409 ferritic stainless steel显示文摘One of the main problems during the welding of ferritic stainless steels is severe grain growth within the heat-affected zone(HAZ).In the present study,the microstructural characteristics of tungsten inert gas(TIG) welded AISI409 ferritic stainless steel were investigated by electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD),and the effects of welding parameters on the grain size,local misorientation,and low-angle grain boundaries were studied.A 3-D finite element model(FEM) was developed to predict the effects of welding parameters on the holding time of the HAZ above the critical temperature of grain growth.It is found that the base metal is not fully recrystallized.During the welding,complete recrystallization is followed by severe grain growth.A decrease in the number of low-angle grain boundaries is observed within the HAZ.FEM results show that the final state of residual strains is caused by competition between welding plastic strains and their release by recrystallization.Still,the decisive factor for grain growth is heat input. | Eslam Ranjbarnodeh Stefanie Hanke Sabine Weiss Alfons Fischer | 2012 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2012，19，10： | 6 |

| 5 | Is erythroferrone finally the long sought-after systemic erythroid regulator of iron?显示文摘Iron metabolism is regulated on the cellular and the systemic level. Over the last decade, the liver peptide 'hepcidin' has emerged as the body's key irons store regulator. The long postulated 'erythroid regulator of iron', however, remained elusive. Last year, evidence was provided, that a previously described myokine 'myonectin' may also function as the long sought erythroid regulator of iron. Myonectin was therefore renamed 'erythroferrone'. | 6 | Effects of undigested protein-rich ingredients on polarised small intestinal organoid monolayers显示文摘Here, we describe the use of monolayers of intestinal epithelial cells derived from intestinal organoids and transcriptomics to investigate the direct effects of dietary protein sources on epithelial function. Mechanically dissociated 3 D organoids of mouse duodenum were used to generate a polarized epithelium containing all cell types found in the tissue of origin. The organoid-derived cell monolayers were exposed to 4%(w/v) of ‘undigested(non-hydrolysed)-soluble' fraction of protein sources used as feed ingredients [soybean meal(SBM) and casein], or alternative protein sources(spray dried plasma protein, and yellow meal worm), or controls for 6 h prior to RNA isolation and transcriptomics. All protein sources altered expression of unique biological processes in the epithelial cells. Exposure of intestinal organoids to SBM downregulated expression of retinol and retinoid metabolic processes as well as cholesterol and lipid biosynthetic pathways, consistent with the reported hypotriglyceridaemic effect of soy protein in vivo. | 7 | Deciphering fluid inclusions in high-grade rocks显示文摘The study of fluid inclusions in high-grade rocks is especially challenging as the host minerals have been normally subjected to deformation,recrystallization and fluid-rock interaction so that primary inclusions,formed at the peak of metamorphism are rare.The larger part of the fluid inclusions found in metamorphic minerals is typically modified during uplift.These late processes may strongly disguise the characteristics of the 'original' peak metamorphic fluid.A detailed miciostructural analysis of the host minerals,notably quartz,is therefore indispensable for a proper interpretation of fluid inclusions.Cathodoluminescence(CL) techniques combined with trace element analysis of quartz(EPMA.LAICPMS) have shown to be very helpful in deciphering the rock-fluid evolution.Whereas high-grade metamorphic quartz may have relatively high contents of trace elements like Ti and Al,lowtemperature re-equilibrated quartz typically shows reduced trace element concentrations.The resulting microstructures in Cl.can be basically distinguished in diffusion patterns(along microfractures and grain boundaries).and secondary quartz formed by dissolution-reprecipilation.Most of these textures are formed during retrograde fluid-controlled processes between ca.220 and 500 C,i.e.the range of semi-brittle deformation(greenschist-lacies) and can be correlated with the fluid inclusions.In this way modified and re-trapped fluids can be identified.even when there are no optical features observed under the microscope. | Alfons van den Kerkhof Andreas Kronz Klaus Simon | 2014 | Geoscience Frontiers2014，5，5： | 3 |
| 8 | 121例腹腔镜Roux-en-Y胃空肠吻合术后随访结果显示文摘目的探讨腹腔镜Roux-en-Y胃空肠吻合术(laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass,LRYGBP)治疗病态肥胖的术后营养和代谢方面的变化。方法121例LRYGBP,男40例,女81例。分别测定术前1个月及术后6个月的体重指数(body mass index,BMI)。对比分析6个月、12个月,24个月血清铁(Fe)、钙(Ca)、锌(Zn)、硒(Se)及维生素A(VitA)、维生素D(VitD)、维生素B12(VitB12)和甲状旁腺素(parathyroid hormone,PTH)的水平变化。结果术前1个月BMI(47.00±7.15)kg/m^2,术后6个月BMI(33.79±6.06)kg/m^2,BMI下降(13.21±5.47)kg/m^2(t=26.103,P=0.000)。术后血清Fe、Ca、Zn、Se及ViLA、VitD、VitB12均在正常范围,其中术后6个月血清Zn、Se和VitA水平虽然在正常范围内,但分别有19.5%(17/87)、22.7%(20/88)和33.7%(28/83)的患者低于正常水平,但术后2年仅有6.7%(2/30)、11.5%(3/26)和17.2%(5/29)的患者低于正常水平。血清PTH术后6个月11~161pg/ml,(66±34)pg/ml、1年24~154pg/ml,(72±34)pg/ml、2年21~194pg/ml,(75±40)pg/ml(正常值9~44pg/ml)。结论LRYGBP治疗病态肥胖是有效、安全的。术后2年血清Fe、Ca及VitD、VitB12均正常;血清锌、硒及维生素A经术后6个月给予补充剂大多接近正常;血清PTH水平明显高于正常。建议患者术后长期服用复合维生素、矿物质补充剂,定期到医院随访。 | 宫轲 Michel Gagner Alfons Pomp Taghreed A | 2007 | 中国微创外科杂志2007，7，1： | 3 |

| 11 | High population and dispersion of pentacoordinated Al~Ⅴ species on the surface of ?ame-made amorphous silica-alumina显示文摘Pentacoordinated Al(Al~Ⅴ)species in silica-alumina are promising to promote the formation of acid sites or act as surface defects for tailoring single-atom catalysts.However,pentahedral coordination(Al~Ⅴ)is rarely observed in conventionally prepared silica-alumina.Here,we show that high population and dispersion of Al~Ⅴ species on the surface of amorphous silica-alumina(ASA)can be achieved by means of flame spray pyrolysis.High resolution TEM/EDX,high magnetic-field NMR and DFT calculations are employed to characterize the structure of as-prepared ASAs.Solid-state ^(27)Al multi-quantum MAS NMR experiments show that most of the Al~Ⅴspecies are formed independently from the alumina phase and are accessible for guest molecules on the surface.Upon water adsorption,these Al~Ⅴ species are transformed to Al~Ⅵ species,structurally similar to surface Al~Ⅳ species,as confirmed by DFT calculations.The outstanding catalytic activity of as-synthesized ASA is demonstrated using the in situ H/D exchange reaction with deuterated benzene as an example.The Al~Ⅴ-rich ASA provides a much lower activation energy(~30 kJ/mol)than that reported for zeolite H-ZSM-5(~60 kJ/mol).The superior catalytic performance is attributed to the high Al~Ⅴcontent promoting the surface active sites in ASA.The knowledge gained on the synthesis of Al~Ⅴ-rich ASAs and the nature of aluminum coordination in these materials could pave the way to more efficient silica-alumina based catalysts. | Zichun Wang Yijiao Jiang Xianfeng Yi Cuifeng Zhou Aditya Rawal James Hook Zongwen Liu Feng Deng Anmin Zheng Michael Hunger Alfons Baiker Jun Huang | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019，64，8： | 2 |

| 13 | An overview of translational(radio)pharmaceutical research related to certain oncological and non-oncological applications显示文摘Translational medicine pursues the conversion of scientific discovery into human health improvement.It aims to establish strategies for diagnosis and treatment of diseases.Cancer treatment is difficult.Radiopharmaceutical research has played an importantrole in multiple disciplines,particularly in translational oncology.Based on the natural phenomenon of necrosis avidity,Onco Ci Dia has emerged as a novel generic approach for treating solid malignancies.Under this systemic dual targeting strategy,a vascular disrupting agent first selectively causes massive tumor necrosis that is followed by iodine-131 labeled-hypericin(123IHyp),a necrosis-avid compound that kills the residual cancer cells by crossfire effect of beta radiation.In this review,by emphasizing the potential clinical applicability of Onco Ci Dia,we summarize our research activities including optimization of radioiodinated hypericin Hyp preparations and recent studies on the biodistribution,dosimetry,pharmacokinetic and,chemical and radiochemical toxicities of the preparations.Myocardial infarction is a global health problem.Although cardiac scintigraphy using radioactive perfusion tracers is used in the assessment of myocardial viability,searching for diagnostic imaging agents with authentic necrosis avidity is pursued.Therefore,a comparative study on the biological profiles of the necrosis avid 123I-Hyp and the commercially available 99mTc-Sestamibi was conducted and the results are demonstrated.Cholelithiasis or gallstone disease may cause gallbladder inflammation,infection and other severe complications.While studying the mechanisms underlying the necrosis avidity of Hyp and derivatives,their naturally occurring fluorophore property was exploited for targeting cholesterol as a main component of gallstones.The usefulness of Hyp as an optical imaging agent for cholelithiasis was studied and the results are presented.Multiple uses of automatic contrast injectors may reduce costs and save resources.However,cross-contaminations with bloodborne pathogens of infectious diseases may occur.We developed a radioactive method for safety evaluation of a new replaceable patient-delivery system.By mimicking pathogens with a radiotracer,we assessed the feasibility of using the system repeatedly without septic risks.This overview is deemed to be interesting to those involvedin the related fields for translational research. | Marlein Miranda Cona Peter de Witte Alfons Verbruggen Yicheng Ni | 2013 | World Journal of Methodology2013，3，4： | 2 |

| 15 | Continuous dimethyl carbonate synthesis from CO_(2) and methanol over Bi_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(δ) monoliths:Effect of bismuth doping on population of oxygen vacancies,activity,and reaction pathway显示文摘We evaluated bismuth doped cerium oxide catalysts for the continuous synthesis of dimethyl carbonate(DMC)from methanol and carbon dioxide in the absence of a dehydrating agent.Bi_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(δ)nanocomposites of various compositions(x=0.06-0.24)were coated on a ceramic honeycomb and their structural and catalytic properties were examined.The incorporation of Bi species into the CeO_(2) lattice facilitated controlling of the surface population of oxygen vacancies,which is shown to play a crucial role in the mechanism of this reaction and is an important parameter for the design of ceria-based catalysts.The DMC production rate of the Bi_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(δ) catalysts was found to be strongly enhanced with increasing Ov concentration.The concentration of oxygen vacancies exhibited a maximum for Bi_(0.12)Ce_(0.88)O_(δ),which afforded the highest DMC production rate.Long-term tests showed stable activity and selectivity of this catalyst over 45 h on-stream at 140°C and a gas-hourly space velocity of 2,880 mL·g_(cat)^(-1)·h^(-1).In-situ modulation excitation diffuse reflection Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and first-principle calculations indicate that the DMC synthesis occurs through reaction of a bidentate carbonate intermediate with the activated methoxy(-OCH_(3))species.The activation of C0_(2) to form the bidentate carbonate intermediate on the oxygen vacancy sites is identified as highest energy barrier in the reaction pathway and thus is likely the rate-determining step. | Yongdong Chen Yue Li Wei Chen Wen Wu Xu Zhong-kang Han Ammara Waheed Zhongbin Ye Gao Li Alfons Baiker | 2022 | Nano Research2022，15，2： | 2 |
