2Progress in 3D‑MXene Electrodes for Lithium/Sodium/Potassium/Magnesium/Zinc/Aluminum‑Ion Batteries显示文摘MXenes have attracted increasing attention because of their rich surface functional groups,high electrical conductivity,and outstanding dispersibility in many solvents,and have demonstrated competitive efficiency in energy storage and conversion applications.However,the restacking nature of MXene nanosheets like other two-dimensional(2D)materials through van der Waals forces results in sluggish ionic kinetics,restricted number of active sites,and ultimate deterioration of MXene mate-rial/device performance.The strategy of raising 2D MXenes into three-dimensional(3D)structures has been considered an efficient way for reducing restacking,providing greater porosity,higher surface area,and shorter distances for mass transport of ions,surpassing standard one-dimensional(1D)and 2D structures.In multivalent ion batteries,the positive multivalent ions combine with two or more electrons at the same time,so their capacities are two or three times that of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)under the same conditions,e.g.,a magnesium ion battery has a high theoretical specific capacity of 2205 mAh g^(−1)and a high volumetric capacity of 3833 mAh cm^(−3).In this review,we summarize the most recent strategies for fabricating 3D MXene architectures,such as assembly,template,3D printing,electrospinning,aerogel,and gas foaming methods.Special consideration has been given to the applications of highly porous 3D MXenes in energy storage devices beyond LIBs,such as sodium ion batteries(SIBs),potassium ion batteries(KIBs),magnesium ion batteries(MIBs),zinc ion batteries(ZIBs),and aluminum ion batteries(AIBs).Finally,the authors provide a summary of the future opportunities and challenges for the construction of 3D MXenes and MXene-based electrodes for applications beyond LIBs.Tariq Bashir Shaowen Zhou Shiqi Yang Sara Adeeba Ismail Tariq Ali Hao Wang Jianqing Zhao Lijun Gao 2023Electrochemical Energy Reviews2023,6,1:1

4Mechanistic insights on immunosenescence and chronic immune activation in HIV-tuberculosis co-infection显示文摘Immunosenescence is marked by accelerated degradation of host immune responses leading to the onset of opportunistic infections, where senescent T cells show remarkably higher ontogenic defects as compared to healthy T cells. The mechanistic association between T-cell immunosenescence and human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) disease progression, and functional T-cell responses in HIV-tuberculosis(HIV-TB) co-infection remains to be elaborately discussed. 8MXene terminating groups=O,–F or–OH,–F or=O,–OH,–F,or=O,–OH,–Cl?显示文摘MXenes are a novel family of two-dimensional(2D)materials that are fast gaining popularity due to their versatile characteristics.The surfaces of these materials are often functionalized by negatively charged terminal groups,such as=O,OH,and F during their synthesis,and it has been hypothesized that regulating the surface terminators enables to control the material characteristics.However,there is still a large gap between computational and experimental investigations regarding comprehending the surface functional groups.Surfaces with mixed terminations are consistently synthesized in experiments,although pure terminated surfaces are predicted by computational research.Here we summarized the nature of chemical bonding in transition metal carbide materials(MXenes)by1H and19F nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),Raman,X-ray absorption near edge structure(XANES),extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS),ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy(UPS),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)/scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM),and thermogravimetric analysis-mass spectrometry(TGA-MS)characterizations.Previous literature reveals that=O,–OH,–F,and–Cl are typical MXene surface terminators.However,recent comparative investigations on the valence band intensity distribution in MXenes reveal that the–OH cannot be considered an intrinsic termination species in MXenes.The surface terminals(=O,–OH,–F,and–Cl)of several MXenes,particularly V2CTxand Ti3C2Tx,will be identified and quantified here.We have also discussed different etching approaches for the synthesis of MXene,the dependence of MXene conductivity on MXene terminating groups,and the emission of various gaseous products that evolved during its chemical transformations.This paper provides significance,especially in the field of energy conversion and storage materials,where the intercalation process is crucial.Tariq Bashir Sara Adeeba Ismail Jiaqi Wang Wenhao Zhu Jianqing Zhao Lijun Gao 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:1

12Changes in Phyto-Chemical Status upon Viral Infections in Plant:A Critical Review显示文摘Most damaging plant diseases have been caused by viruses in the entire world.In tropical and subtropical areas,the damage caused by plant virus leads to great economic and agricultural losses.Single stranded DNA viruses(geminiviruses)are the most perilous pathogens which are responsible for major diseases in agronomic and horticultural crops.Significantly begomoviruses and mastreviruses are the biggest genus of plant infecting viruses,transmitted though Bemisia tabaci and members of Cicadellidae respectively.Plants possesses some naturally existing chemicals term as phyto-chemicals which perform important functions in the plant.Some antioxidant enzymes are used by plants for selfdefense upon foreign invasion of infection.This review explains the present perceptive of influence of viral infections on phyto-chemicals,oxidative enzymes and biochemical changes occurring in the plant.Viral infection mediated phytochemical changes in plants mainly includes:up and down regulation of photosynthetic pigment,increase in the concentration of phenolic compounds,elevation of starch content in the leaf and up&down regulation of anti-oxidative enzymes including(GPX)guaiacol peroxidase,(PPO)polyphenol oxidase,(APX)ascorbate peroxidase,(SOD)superoxide dismutase and(CTA)catalase.These changes lead to initiation of hypersensitive response,by thicken of the leaf lamina,lignification under the leaf surface,blocking to stomatal openings,systematic cell death,generation of reactive oxidative species(ROS),activation of pathogen mediated resistance pathways i.e.,production of salicylic acid and jasmonic acid.Collectively all the physiological changes in the plant due to viral infection supports the activation of defense mechanism of the plant to combat against viral infection by limiting virus in specific area,followed with the production of barriers for pathogen,accumulation of starch in the leaf and excess production of(ROS).These strategies used by the plant to prevent the spread of virus in whole plant and to minimize the risk of severe yield loss.Tehmina Bahar Adeeba Mahboob Qureshi Fasiha Qurashi Muniba Abid Misbah Batool Zahra Muhammad Saleem Haider 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,1:0
