| 1 | 我国杭州地区秋季稻田的甲烷排放显示文摘1987年秋季在杭州郊区采用一套全自动的观测系统,对稻田的甲烷排放进行了观测。在整个晚稻灌溉期内,稻田是大气甲烷的一个源地,其甲烷释放率最高可达240mg/m^2·h。甲烷释放率具有很强的季节性变化,在水稻成熟期之前,甲烷释放率一般在40-60mg·CH_4/m^2·h的水平上波动,在成熟期间则降为10mg·CH_4/m^2·h的水平。除移栽期外的整个水稻生长期间的甲烷平均释放率为39mg/m^2·h。甲烷释放率具有明显的日变化,一般在午夜至凌晨3—4点达最大值,白天较低,变化也较小。这可能与水稻植物体由于其生理上的日变化引起的甲烷气体传输能力的日变化有关。实验没有观测到不同施肥(K_2SO_4和菜饼)对甲烷释放率的明显影响。阴雨天的降温一般在2—3天后引起甲烷释放率的迅速下降,这可能是因土壤中发酵细菌如产甲烷菌数量的减少造成的。尽管甲烷释放率和土壤温度在整个生长期间基本上是逐步下降的,但两者之间并没有简单的正相关性。土壤中产生的甲烷气体只有一小部分释放到大气中,从土壤中冒出来的气泡往往可引起释放率的急剧上升。1985年全球稻田的甲烷释放量估计为134±3lTg(1Tg=10^(12)g),其中12±26Tg和30±6Tg分别来自亚太地区和中国稻田。 | 戴爱国 王明星 沈壬兴 H.Schütz W.Seiler H.Rennenberg 吴海宝 | 1991 | 大气科学1991，15，1： | 18 |

| 3 | The herbal compound geniposide rescues formaldehyde-induced apoptosis in N2a neuroblastoma cells显示文摘The herbal medicine Tong Luo Jiu Nao(TLJN)contains geniposide(GP)and ginsenoside Rg1 at a molar ratio of 10:1.Rg1 is the major component of another herbal medicine,panax notoginseng saponin(PNS).TLJN has been shown to strengthen brain function in humans,and in animals it improves learning and memory.We have previously shown that TLJN reduces amyloidogenic processing in Alzheimer’s disease(AD)mouse models.Together this suggests TLJN may be a potential treatment for patients with dementia.Because chronic damage of the central nervous system by formaldehyde(FA)has been presented as a risk factor for age-associated cognitive dysfunction,in the present study we investigated the protective effect of both TLJN and GP in neuron-like cells exposed to FA.FA-exposed murine N2a neuroblastoma cells were incubated with TLJN,its main ingredient GP,as well as PNS,to measure cell viability and morphology,the rate of apoptosis and expression of genes encoding Akt,FOXO3,Bcl2 and p53.The CCK-8 assay,cytoskeletal staining and flow cytometry were used to test cell viability,morphology and apoptosis,respectively.Fluorescent quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)was used to monitor changes in gene expression,and HPLC to determine the rate of FA clearance.Treatment of N2a cells with 0.09 mmol L?1 FA for 24 h significantly reduced cell viability,changed cell morphology and promoted apoptosis.Both TLJN and GP conferred neuroprotection to FA-treated N2a cells,whereas PNS,which had to be used at lower concentrations because of its toxicity,did not.Our data demonstrate that TLJN can rescue neuronal damage caused by FA and that its main ingredient,GP,has a major role in this efficacy.This presents purified GP as a drug or lead compound for the treatment of AD. | CHEN JinYan SUN MengRu WANG XingHua LU Jing WEI Yan TAN Yan LIU Ying GTZ Jürgen HE RongQiao HUA Qian | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014，57，4： | 15 |

| 6 | Visualizing the microtubule-associated protein tau in the nucleus显示文摘Although tau is mainly known as an axonal microtubule-associated protein,many studies indicate that it is not restricted to this subcellular compartment.Assessing tau’s subcellular distribution,however,is not trivial as is evident from transgenic mouse studies.When human tau is over-expressed,it can be immunohistochemically localized to axons and the somatodendritic domain,modeling what is found in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.Yet,in wild-type mice,despite its abundance,tau is difficult to visualize even in the axon.It is even more challenging to detect this protein in the nucleus,where tau has been proposed to protect DNA from damage.To establish a framework for future studies into tau’s nuclear functions,we compared several methods to visualize endogenous nuclear tau in cell lines and mouse brain.While depending on the fixation and permeabilization protocol,we were able to detect nuclear tau in SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells,we failed to do so in N2a murine neuroblastoma cells.As a second method we used subcellular fractionation of mouse tissue and found that in the nucleus tau is mainly present in a hypophosphorylated form.When either full-length or truncated human tau was expressed,both accumulated in the cytoplasm,but were also found in the nuclear fraction.Because subcellular fractionation methods have their limitations,we finally isolated nuclei to probe for nuclear tau and found that the nuclei were free of cytoplasmic contamination.Together our analysis identifies several protocols for detecting tau in the nucleus where it is found in a less phosphorylated form. | LU Jing LI Ting HE RongQiao BARTLETT Perry F GTZ Jürgen | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014，57，4： | 11 |

| 8 | CT diagnosis of recurrence after pancreatic cancer:Is there a pattern?显示文摘AIM:To investigate predilection sites of recurrence of pancreatic cancer by computed tomography(CT)in follow-up after surgery. METHODS:Seventy seven patients with recurrence after pancreatic cancer surgery were retrospectively identified.The operative technique,R-status,T-stage and development of tumor markers were evaluated. Two radiologists analyzed CT scans with consensus readings.Location of local recurrence,lymph node recurrence and organ metastases were noted.Surgery and progression of findings on follow-up CT were con-sidered as reference standard. RESULTS:The mean follow-up interval was 3.9± 1.8 mo,with a mean relapse-free interval of 12.9± 10.4 mo.The predominant site of recurrence was local (65%),followed by lymph node(17%),liver metastasis (11%)and peritoneal carcinosis(7%).Local recurrence emerged at the superior mesenteric artery(n=28),the hepatic artery(n=8),in an area defined by the surrounding vessels:celiac trunk,portal vein,inferior vena cava(n=22),and in a space limited by the mesenteric artery,portal vein and inferior vena cava(n=17). Lymph node recurrence occurred in the mesenteric root and left lateral to the aorta.Recurrence was confirmed by surgery(n=22)and follow-up CT(n=55).Tumor markers[carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)]increased in accordance with signs of recurrence in most cases(86%CA19-9;79.2% CEA). | 10 | Magnetic resonance angiography for the primary diagnosis of pulmonary embolism: A review from the international workshop for pulmonary functional imaging显示文摘Pulmonary contrast enhanced magnetic resonance angiography(CE-MRA) is useful for the primary diagnosis of pulmonary embolism(PE). Many sites have chosen not to use CE-MRA as a first line of diagnostic tool for PE because of the speed and higher efficacy of computerized tomographic angiography(CTA). In this review, we discuss the strengths and weaknesses of CEMRA and the appropriate imaging scenarios for the primary diagnosis of PE derived from our unique multiinstitutional experience in this area. The optimal patient for this test has a low to intermediate suspicion for PE based on clinical decision rules. Patients in extremis are not candidates for this test. Younger women(< 35 years of age) and patients with iodinated contrast allergies are best served by using this modality We discuss the history of the use of this test, recent technical innovations, artifacts, direct and indirect findings for PE, ancillary findings, and the effectiveness(patient outcomes) of CE-MRA for the exclusion of PE. | 13 | Corneal stem cells and tissue engineering: Current advances and future perspectives显示文摘Major advances are currently being made in regenerative medicine for cornea. Stem cell-based therapies represent a novel strategy that may substitute conventional corneal transplantation, albeit there aremany challenges ahead given the singularities of each cellular layer of the cornea. This review recapitulates the current data on corneal epithelial stem cells, corneal stromal stem cells and corneal endothelial cell progenitors. Corneal limbal autografts containing epithelial stem cells have been transplanted in humans for more than 20 years with great successful rates, and researchers now focus on ex vivo cultures and other cell lineages to transplant to the ocular surface. A small population of cells in the corneal endothelium was recently reported to have self-renewal capacity, although they do not proliferate in vivo. Two main obstacles have hindered endothelial cell transplantation to date: culture protocols and cell delivery methods to the posterior cornea in vivo. Human corneal stromal stem cells have been identified shortly after the recognition of precursors of endothelial cells. Stromal stem cells may have the potential to provide a direct cell-based therapeutic approach when injected to corneal scars. Furthermore, they exhibit the ability to deposit organized connective tissue in vitro and may be useful in corneal stroma engineering in the future. | 16 | Improved guided bone regeneration by combined application of unmodified, fresh autologous adipose derived regenerative cells and plasma rich in growth factors:A first-in-human case report and literature review显示文摘BACKGROUND Novel strategies are needed for improving guided bone regeneration(GBR) in oral surgery prior to implant placement, particularly in maxillary sinus augmentation(GBR-MSA) and in lateral alveolar ridge augmentation(LRA). This study tested the hypothesis that the combination of freshly isolated, unmodified autologous adipose-derived regenerative cells(UA-ADRCs), fraction 2 of plasma rich in growth factors(PRGF-2) and an osteoinductive scaffold(OIS)(UAADRC/PRGF-2/OIS) is superior to the combination of PRGF-2 and the same OIS alone(PRGF-2/OIS) in GBR-MSA/LRA.CASE SUMMARY A 79-year-old patient was treated with a bilateral external sinus lift procedure as well as a bilateral lateral alveolar ridge augmentation. GBR-MSA/LRA was performed with UA-ADRC/PRGF-2/OIS on the right side, and with PRGF-2/OIS on the left side. Biopsies were collected at 6 wk and 34 wk after GBRMSA/LRA. At the latter time point implants were placed. Radiographs(32 mo follow-up time) demonstrated excellent bone healing. No radiological or histological signs of inflammation were observed.
