1A comparative study of physicochemical and photocatalytic properties of visible light responsive Fe,Gd and P single and tri-doped TiO_2 nanomaterials显示文摘High performance Fe-Gd-P tri-doped TiO_2 nanoparticles(1 at% for each dopant) were successfully synthesized by a modified sol-gel method. Various analytical and spectroscopic techniques were carried out to determine the physicochemical properties of the prepared samples, including XRD, EDX, FESEM,BET, FTIR, XPS, PL, EIS and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activities of prepared samples were evaluated by photo degradation of methyl orange(MO) and 4-chlorophenol(4-CP) as model pollutants under visible light irradiation. Effects of each dopant on different properties of TiO_2 nanoparticles were investigated. Results show that Gd and P doping enhances TiO2 surface textural properties by forming Ti-O-Gd and Ti-O-P bonds. It is found that Gd plays a superior role in increasing oxygen vacancies and organic species on TiO_2 surface. Gd doping also facilitates transferring of the photo-induced charge carriers to the surface adsorbed species. The enhanced electronic band structure and visible light response, as well as high electron lifetime of Fe-Gd-P tri-doped sample is mainly attributed to Fe and Gd doping. The tri-doped TiO_2 with rate constant of k_(app)= 1.28 × 10^(-2) min^(-1) for MO and k_(app) = 0.94 × 10^(-2) min^(-1) for 4-CP, shows the highest photodegradation rate among all samples including undoped and single doped samples. The improved photocatalytic performance of Fe-Gd-P tridoped TiO_2 is due to the synergistic effect of enhanced surface chemistry and textural properties,increased number of surface adsorbed hydroxyl groups and organic species, improved visible light absorption, increased lifetime of the photo-induced electron/hole pairs and boosted interfacial charge transfer.seyed mohsen adyani mohammad ghorbani 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,1:9
2Forecasting soil temperature at multiple-depth with a hybrid artificial neural network model coupledhybrid firefly optimizer algorithm显示文摘Forecasting soil temperature at multiple depths is considered to be a core decision-making task for examining future changes in surface and sub-surface meteorological processes,land-atmosphere energy exchange,resilient agricultural systems for improved crop health and eco-environmental risk assessment.The aim of this paper is to estimate monthly soil temperature(ST)at multiple depth:5,10,20,50 and 100 cm with a hybrid multi-layer perceptron algorithm integrated with the firefly optimizer algorithm(MLP-FFA).To develop the hybrid MLP-FFA model,the monthly ST and relevant meteorological variables for the city of Adana(Turkey)are collated for the period of 2000–2007.Construction of hybrid MLP-FFA model is drawn upon a limited set of predictors,denoted as soil depth,periodicity(or the respective month),air temperature,pressure and solar radiation,while the objective variable for MLP-FFA model is the forecasted ST at multiple depths.To the evaluate MLPFFA,statistical metrics applied to test the model’s performance are:the root mean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)and mean bias error(MBE)where the sign of the difference is also considered.In conjunction with statistical metrics,a Taylor diagram is utilized to visualize the degree of similarity between the observed and forecasted soil moisture.In terms of the forecasted results,the hybrid MLPFFA model is seen to outperform the standalone MLP model.The optimal MLP-FFA is attained for soil temperature forecasting at a depth of 20 cm(RMSE,MAPE of 0.546C,2.40%)whereas the optimal MLP is attained for soil temperature forecasting at a depth of 50 cm(RMSE of 0.544℃,2.21%).Conclusively,the study advocates through statistical metrics attained the better utility of the hybrid MLP-FFA hybrid model.Given its superior performance,it is ascertained that the hybrid MLP model integrated with Firefly optimizer is a qualified ancillary tool that can be applied to generate precise soil temperature forecasts at multiple soil depths.Saeed Samadianfard Mohammad Ali Ghorbani Babak Mohammadi 2018Information Processing in Agriculture2018,5,4:5
3Application of Rice Husk Biochar for Achieving Sustainable Agriculture and Environment显示文摘This paper critically reviewed the current knowledge and challenges of rice husk biochar(RHB)production and its effects on soil properties,plant growth,immobilization of heavy metals,reduction of nutrient leaching and mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions.The characteristics of RHBs produced at various pyrolysis temperatures were discussed and compared to biochars derived from other agro-industrial wastes.RHBs produced at higher pyrolysis temperatures show lower hydrogen/carbon ratio,which suggests the presence of higher aromatic carbon compounds.The increase of pyrolysis temperature also results in production of RHBs with higher ash content,lower yield and higher surface area.RHB usually has higher silicon and ash contents and lower carbon content compared to biochars derived from other feedstocks at the same pyrolysis conditions.Although it depends on soil type,RHB application can improve soil organic carbon content,cation exchange capacity,available K concentration,bulk density and microbial activity.The effect of RHB on soil aggregation mainly depends on soil texture.The growth of different crops is also enhanced by application of RHB.RHB addition to soil can immobilize heavy metals and herbicides and reduce their bioavailability.RHB application shows a significant capacity in reduction of nitrate leaching,although its magnitude depends on the biochar application rate and soil biogeochemical characteristics.Use of RHB,especially in paddy fields,shows a promising mitigation effect on greenhouse gas(CH4,CO2 and N2O)emissions.Although RHB characteristics are also related to other factors such as pyrolysis heating rate and residence time,its performance for specific applications(e.g.carbon sequestration,pH amendment)can be manipulated by adjusting the pyrolysis temperature.More research is needed on long-term field applications of RHB to fully understand the advantages and disadvantages of RHB as a soil amendment.Hossein Asadi Mohammad Ghorbani Mehran Rezaei-Rashti Sepideh Abrishamkesh Elnaz Amirahmadi Chen Chengrong Manouchehr Gorji 2021Rice science2021,28,4:4
4GIS-based landslide susceptibility modeling:A comparison between fuzzy multi-criteria and machine learning algorithms显示文摘Hazards and disasters have always negative impacts on the way of life.Landslide is an overwhelming natural as well as man-made disaster that causes loss of natural resources and human properties throughout theworld.The present study aimed to assess and compare the prediction efficiency of different models in landslide susceptibility in the Kysuca river basin,Slovakia.In this regard,the fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory combining with the analytic network process(FDEMATEL-ANP),Naïve Bayes(NB)classifier,and random forest(RF)classifier were considered.Initially,a landslide inventory map was produced with 2000 landslide and nonlandslide points by randomly dividedwith a ratio of 70%:30%for training and testing,respectively.The geospatial database for assessing the landslide susceptibility was generated with the help of 16 landslide conditioning factors by allowing for topographical,hydrological,lithological,and land cover factors.The ReliefF methodwas considered for determining the significance of selected conditioning factors and inclusion in the model building.Consequently,the landslide susceptibility maps(LSMs)were generated using the FDEMATEL-ANP,Naïve Bayes(NB)classifier,and random forest(RF)classifier models.Finally,the area under curve(AUC)and different arithmetic evaluation were used for validating and comparing the results and models.The results revealed that random forest(RF)classifier is a promising and optimum model for landslide susceptibility in the study area with a very high value of area under curve(AUC=0.954),lower value of mean absolute error(MAE=0.1238)and root mean square error(RMSE=0.2555),and higher value of Kappa index(K=0.8435)and overall accuracy(OAC=92.2%).Sk Ajim Ali Farhana Parvin Jana Vojteková Romulus Costache Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh Quoc Bao Pham Matej Vojtek Ljubomir Gigović Ateeque Ahmad Mohammad Ali Ghorbani 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2:3
5Prediction of asphaltene precipitation using support vector regression tuned with genetic algorithms显示文摘Due to the severe and costly problems caused by asphaltene precipitation in petroleum industry,developing a quick and accurate model,to predict the asphaltene precipitation under different conditions,seems crucial.In this study,a new model,namely genetic algorithm e support vector regression(GA-SVR)is proposed,which is applied to predict the amount of asphaltene precipitation.GA is used to select the best optimal values of SVR parameters and kernel parameter,simultaneously,to increase the generalization performance of the SVR.The GA-SVR model is trained and tested on the experimental data sets reported in literature.The performance of the GASVR model is compared with two scaling equation models,using statistical error measures and graphical analyses.The results show that the prediction performance of the proposed model,is highly reliable and satisfactory.Mohammad Ghorbani Ghasem Zargar Hooshang Jazayeri-Rad 2016Petroleum2016,2,3:3

9Determine the most appropriate strategy for groundwater management in arid and semi-arid regions, Abhar Plain, Iran显示文摘Due to growing demand and reduction of water resources and increasing pollution of water,driven by dramatic population and economic growth, arid and semi-arid land's imminent water problems are nowadays aggravating. This study aims to determine the most appropriate management strategies for balancing the Abhar plain aquifer using the SWOT coupled with AHP technique. The results indicate that weaknesses prevail over strengths as well as threats over opportunities. The placement in the quarter of weaknesses-threats with a defensive strategy indicates the critical condition of the Abhar plain aquifer. The most appropriate solutions to achieve the goal of balancing the groundwater were prioritized by AHP method. According to results, improper management of water consumption with a weight of 72.5% is the most destructive factor in reducing groundwater resources. Among the types of consumption, the effect of an agricultural factor carries a weight of 74.2%. The exploitation of illegal wells, overdraft of exploitation license provisions of wells, reduction of precipitation and traditional irrigation methods were selected as the destructive factors causing the deteriration of groundwater resources. 11不同丁香提取物对戊四唑诱导的小鼠癫癎发作的影响(英文)显示文摘目的:研究不同丁香提取物对戊四唑引发小鼠癫癎的作用。方法:实验小鼠被随机分为生理盐水对照组、不同剂量(50、100、250及500mg/kg)丁香水提取物组、不同剂量(50、100、250及500mg/kg)丁香乙醇提取物组、不同剂量(50、100、250及500mg/kg)丁香三氯甲烷提取物组。给予戊四唑前60min为各组小鼠注射药物。记录并比较各组小鼠阵发性强直性抽搐潜伏期(generalized tonic-clonic seizure,GTCS)、最小阵发性痉挛潜伏期(minimal clonic seizure,MCS)及死亡率。结果:低、中、高三种剂量的丁香水提取物能有效延长MSC和GTCS的潜伏期(P<0.05)。50、100和250mg/kg的丁香乙醇提取物显著增加了小鼠MCS潜伏时间(P<0.05)。与盐水治疗组相比,惊厥小鼠模型经50、100、250和500mg/kg丁香的乙醇提取物治疗后,其GTCS的潜伏期显著高于盐水治疗组,但丁香的三氯甲烷提取物对惊厥小鼠的GTCS和MCS潜伏期没有显著的影响。结论:丁香乙醇和水提取物能抑制由戊四唑诱发的小鼠惊厥,但其确切的作用机制和有效的抗惊厥活性物质还有待进一步的研究。Mahmoud Hosseini Taha Jafarianheris Navid Seddighi Mohammad Parvaneh Ahmad Ghorbani Hamid Reza Sadeghnia Hassan Rakhshandeh 2012中西医结合学报2012,10,12:1

13Estimation of hydraulic jump on corrugated bed using artificial neural networks and genetic programming显示文摘Artificial neural networks (ANNs) and genetic programming (GP) have recently been used for the estimation of hydraulic data. In this study, they were used as alternative tools to estimate the characteristics of hydraulic jumps, such as the free surface location and energy dissipation. The dimensionless hydraulic parameters, including jump depth, jump length, and energy dissipation, were determined as functions of the Froude number and the height and length of corrugations. The estimations of the ANN and GP models were found to be in good agreement with the measured data. 14Prediction of oil flow rate through an orifice flow meter: Artificial intelligence alternatives compared显示文摘Fluid-flow measurements of petroleum can be performed using a variety of equipment such as orifice meters and wellhead chokes.It is useful to understand the relationship between flow rate through orifice meters(Qv)and the five fluid-flow influencing input variables:pressure(P),temperature(T),viscosity(μ),square root of differential pressure(ΔP^0.5),and oil specific gravity(SG).Here we evaluate these relationships using a range of machine-learning algorithms applied to orifice meter data from a pipeline flowing from the Cheshmeh Khosh Iranian oil field.Correlation coefficients indicate that(Qv)has weak to moderate positive correlations with T,P,andμ,a strong positive correlation with theΔP^0.5,and a weak negative correlation with oil specific gravity.In order to predict the flow rate with reliable accuracy,five machine-learning algorithms are applied to a dataset of 1037 data records(830 used for algorithm training;207 used for testing)with the full input variable values for the data set provided.The algorithms evaluated are:Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS),Least Squares Support Vector Machine(LSSVM),Radial Basis Function(RBF),Multilayer Perceptron(MLP),and Gene expression programming(GEP).The prediction performance analysis reveals that all of the applied methods provide predictions at acceptable levels of accuracy.The MLP algorithm achieves the most accurate predictions of orifice meter flow rates for the dataset studied.GEP and RBF also achieve high levels of accuracy.ANFIS and LSSVM perform less well,particularly in the lower flow rate range(i.e.,<40,000 stb/day).Some machine learning algorithms have the potential to overcome the limitations of idealized streamline analysis applying the Bernoulli equation when predicting flow rate across an orifice meter,particularly at low flow rates and in turbulent flow conditions.Further studies on additional datasets are required to confirm this.Hamzeh Ghorbani David A.Wood Abouzar Choubineh Afshin Tatar Pejman Ghazaeipour Abarghoyi Mohammad Madani Nima Mohamadian 2020Petroleum2020,6,4:0
15Design and fabrication of a vigorous“cavitation-on-a-chip”device with a multiple microchannel configuration显示文摘Hydrodynamic cavitation is one of the major phase change phenomena and occurs with a sudden decrease in the local static pressure within a fluid.With the emergence of microelectromechanical systems(MEMS),high-speed microfluidic devices have attracted considerable attention and been implemented in many fields,including cavitation applications.In this study,a new generation of‘cavitation-on-a-chip’devices with eight parallel structured microchannels is proposed.This new device is designed with the motivation of decreasing the upstream pressure(input energy)required for facile hydrodynamic cavitation inception.Water and a poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)microbubble(MB)suspension are used as the working fluids.The results show that the cavitation inception upstream pressure can be reduced with the proposed device in comparison with previous studies with a single flow restrictive element.Furthermore,using PVA MBs further results in a reduction in the upstream pressure required for cavitation inception.In this new device,different cavitating flow patterns with various intensities can be observed at a constant cavitation number and fixed upstream pressure within the same device.Moreover,cavitating flows intensify faster in the proposed device for both water and the water–PVA MB suspension in comparison to previous studies.Due to these features,this next-generation‘cavitation-on-a-chip’device has a high potential for implementation in applications involving microfluidic/organ-on-a-chip devices,such as integrated drug release and tissue engineering.Farzad Rokhsar Talabazar Mohammad Jafarpour Merve Zuvin Hongjian Chen Moein Talebian Gevari Luis Guillermo Villanueva Dmitry Grishenkov Ali Koşar Morteza Ghorbani 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,3:0
16Clinical feature and treatment outcome of active ocular toxoplasmosis in immunocompetent patients显示文摘Objective:To investigate clinical features,ocular findings,management and follow-up data in a series of immunocompetent patients with active ocular toxoplasmosis.Methods:A prospective study of 25 immunocompetent patients with first attack of active ocular toxoplasmosis. Age,gender,clinical presentation and ophthalmic examination finding were recorded.The diagnosis was based on typical finding in ophthalmic examination.Systemic antimicrobials and corticosteroids were given to all patients.The treatment outcome and side-effects of drugs were observed.Results:Thirteen(52%) patients were male and 12(48%) were female.The mean±SD age at presentation was(26.8±11.1) years.Eye involvement was unilateral in 92% of patients and bilateral only in 8%.Lesions were located at the peripheral retina in 48%,at the macula retina in 28%,and at the macula and peripheral retina in 24%of the patients.The most common presenting symptom was blurred vision(96%),followed by eye pain(28%).All patients received antimicrobials treatment.Systemic corticosteroids were used in 48%of the patients. Clinical response were observed in 44%2 weeks before and in 56%2 weeks after.Vision was improved with treatment except in two cases.No recurrences occurred during one year follow up.Conclusions:Our study shows that active ocular toxoplasmosis has no gender predilection and affects young individuals.Unilateral involvement is more common in our study.Response to treatment is good in patients and no recurrences occur during one year follow-up.It may have implications in favor of treatment of active ocular toxoplasmosis.Mohammad Nassaji Gholamreza Daraie Raheb Ghorbani 2010Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2010,3,7:0
17The role of nitric oxide in the dorsomedial periaqueductal gray(dmPAG)column in cardiovascular responses in urethane-anesthetized male rats显示文摘Background:The dorsomedial periaqueductal gray(dmPAG)is a mesencephalic area and has numerous functions including cardiovascular regulation.Because nitric oxide(NO)is present in the dmPAG,here we investigate,the probable cardiovascular effect of NO in the dmPAG.Methods:Five groups(n=6 for each group)were used as follows:(1)control;(2)L-NAME(N^(G)-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester,a NO synthase inhibitor,90 nmol);(3)Larginine(L-Arg,a precursor for NO,60 nmol);(4)Sodium nitroprusside(SNP,a NO donor,27 nmol);and(5)L-Arg+L-NAME.The cardiovascular parameters were recorded by a Power Lab device after cannulation of the femoral artery.Drugs were injected using a stereotaxic instrument.The changes(Δ)in systolic blood pressure(SBP),mean arterial pressure(MAP),and heart rate(HR)were calculated at different times and compared to the control group.Results:Microinjection of L-NAME significantly increased ΔSBP,ΔMAP,and ΔHR more than saline(from p<0.05 to p<0.001).L-Arg only significantly increased ΔHR(p<0.05).In the L-Arg+L-NAME group,the above parameters also significantly increased(from p<0.01 to p<0.05)but not as significantly as with L-NAME alone.Microinjection of SNP significantly decreased ΔSBP and ΔMAP more than in the control and L-NAME groups(from p<0.01 to p<0.001),but ΔHR did not change significantly.Conclusion:The results indicated that NO in dmPAG has an inhibitory effect on cardiovascular responses in anesthetized rats.Mohammad Najaftomaraei Atiyeh Ghorbani Alireza Rahimi Reza Mohebbati Sogol Sherkat Mohammad Naser Shafei 2022Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,6:0

19Exploring the relationship between ambient sulfur dioxide and semen quality parameters:A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Objective:To investigate the relationship between ambient sulfur dioxide(SO2)exposure and semen quality parameters.Methods:A systematic literature search was conducted to identify relevant studies investigating the association between SO2 exposure and semen quality parameters.This search encompassed the timeframe from January 2000 to May 2023 and included electronic databases such as Web of Science,Google Scholar,PubMed,Cochrane,and Scopus.Pooled effect estimates with 95%confidence intervals(CI)were calculated using percent changes(PC).The meta-analysis included seven studies with 6711 participants and 15087 semen samples.Results:The results revealed a significant negative association between ambient SO2 exposure and certain semen quality parameters.In particular,SO2 exposure was associated with a significant decrease in progressive motility(PC=0.032;95%CI:-0.063 to-0.001;P=0.044)and sperm concentration(PC=-0.020;95%CI:-0.036 to-0.005;P=0.012).However,no statistically significant associations were observed for total sperm count(PC=-0.038;95%CI:-0.079 to 0.003;P=0.070),seminal fluid volume(PC=-0.009;95%CI:-0.048 to-0.030;P=0.662)and sperm motility(PC=-0.17;95%CI:-0.363 to 0.022;P=0.830).In addition,the results of the subgroup analysis revealed specific variables that were associated with the decrease in relevant sperm parameters.Conclusions:This systematic review and meta-analysis provides compelling evidence supporting a consistent negative association between exposure to ambient SO2 and semen quality parameters.Seyed Sobhan Bahreiny Mojtaba Aghaei Mohammad Reza Dabbagh Hamid Ghorbani Moslem Javidan Reza Mohammadpour Fard 2024Asian pacific Journal of Reproduction2024,13,1:0
