| 1 | 对环境污染、农药与癌症预防的误解显示文摘引起癌症的主要原因有:吸烟、不平衡膳食、慢性传染病和激素因素。最近的研究表明:(1)啮齿类动物的致癌剂并不罕见。在标准的大剂量动物致癌试验中测试的化学物质,不论是天然的还是人工合成的,半数都是“致癌剂”;(2)啮齿类动物致癌试验中的致癌剂量很高,与低剂量的人类接触无关。动物试验所用剂量很高,正是使许多所试化学物质得出阳性结果的原因所在;(3)尽管在人类摄入的化学物质中有99.9%都是天然的,但是管理政策依然瞄准人工合成的化学物质。人类食用的植物中有数千种天然杀虫剂:在已测试的63种中有35种是啮齿类动物的致癌剂。还没有令人信服的证据证明合成的化学污染物在人类癌症形成中发挥了重要作用。要消除极低水平的合成化学物质需要投入巨额资金,据美国环保局估计进行这样的环境治理每年需耗资1400亿美元。癌症的预防要靠生物医学研究所获得的知识、公众的宣传教育和改变不良的生活方式。似乎有必要对目前的(包括公众和个人的)癌症预防重点进行重新审查。 | Ames BN Gold LS | 1997 | 国外医学(卫生学分册)1997，24，6： | 2 |
