| 2 | Efficacy of Danggui Buxue decoction(当归补血汤)on diabetic nephropathy-induced renal fibrosis in rats and possible mechanism显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy of Danggui Buxue decoction(当归补血汤,DBD) on diabetic nephropathyinduced renal fibrosis in rats,and to study the possible mechanism.METHODS:Sixty male Goto Kakizaki(GK) rats were randomly assigned to the model group,gliquidone group,astragaloside Ⅳ group,and high-,medium-and lowdoses DBD groups.After 8 weeks,changes in body weight,blood glucose,serum creatinine,serum urea nitrogen,and total cholesterol were observed.Changes in transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),Smad3,and Smad5 pathways and the expression of the fibrosisrelated proteins collagen Ⅳ(col Ⅳ),α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),and vimentin were assessed.The degree of renal fibrosis was observed by immunohistochemistry and Mason staining.The expression of interleukin 6(IL-6),interleukin 10(IL-10),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),and C-reactive protein(CRP) in the kidneys was assessed using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Our experiments showed that DBD effectively reduced blood glucose,blood urea nitrogen,and creatinine levels after 8 weeks of administration,improved renal function in diabetic rats,alleviated renal fibrosis,and reduced the renal tissue levels of IL-6,IL-10,TNF-α,and CRP.Furthermore,DBD decreased the expression of TGF-β1,Smad3,col IV,α-SMA,and vimentin in renal tissues and increased the expression of Smad5.CONCLUSIONS:DBD ameliorates diabetic renal interstitial fibrosis by modulating the TGF-β1/Smads pathway. | ZHAO Ye WANG Xian GU Ling LI Zihang ZHU Jingtian WANG Wenkai ZHANG Liang XUE Mei | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,3: | 2 |

| 7 | Anti-oxidative effect of zinc in human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(HUC-MSCs)are pluripotent and functional in many biological processes,by which releasing secretary factors to promote the self-repairing of damaged tissue or developing into functional cell at local organ.However,there is a high risk that oxidative stress would reduce the pluripotency and factor-secretion during the preparation and transplantation.Therefore,reducing oxidative stress is expected to improve the efficacy of HUC-MSCs therapy.Zinc[Zn] is an essential trace element which involves in the resistance of oxidative stress.To investigate Zn-regulated signaling pathways,we have profiled the gene expression at transcriptome level in primary HUC-MSCs treated with zinc sulfate,followed with GO and KEGG gene enrichment analysis.Zn treatment improved signal pathways for mineral absorption,cell growth,and cell death.Zn deficiency was mimicked by TPEN administration,which suppressed cell proliferation and reduced the expression of HUC-MSCs surface stem cell markers CD73,CD90 and CD105 by flow cytometry.Nuclear factor erythrocyte 2 related factor 2(Nrf2)plays an important role in antioxidant biological processes.In vitro treatment of Zn significantly increased Nrf2 and Sirt3 expression at gene level and protein level respectively.Zn supplementation inhibited TPEN-induced failure of cell survival and reversed the reduction of Nrf2 and Sirt3 expression,which further reduced the production of ROS.Zn successfully presented its antioxidation effect by activating Nrf2/Sirt3 signaling pathway in HUC-MSCs.Zn supplementation may improve the efficacy of HUC-MSCs therapy with reduced oxidative stress. | Xiaodan Lu Yifan Lin Xiuying Lin Qiang Zhang Zihang Wang Xuguang Mi Ruobing Wang Xiaofang Zhang Xu Luan Yan Liu Bing Li YanTan Yanqiu Fang | 2021 | Biophysics Reports2021,7,2: | 0 |
| 8 | Multi-timescale Energy Sharing with Grid-BESS Capacity Rental Considering Uncertainties显示文摘The growing number of distributed energy resources(DERs)in distribution networks brings new opportunities for local energy sharing.This paper proposes a multi-timescale en-ergy sharing approach among DER aggregators and distribution system operators(DSOs)considering grid-battery energy storage system(BESS)capacity rental and network operations.An energy sharing coordinator is created to manage the energy sharing with price determination.In an hour-ahead stage,the buying/selling energy and required grid-BESS rental capacity are optimally determined by the aggregators while the network operation is robustly considered by the DSO.In addition to renewable generation and loads,the power exchanges of the aggregators are treated as uncertainties.Then during each hour,15-min-ahead energy transaction and controllable DERs are optimized to track uncertainty realization.The uncertainties in the aggregators and the DSO are addressed by stochastic and robust optimization methods,respectively.To efficiently solve the proposed energy sharing problem,a distributed solution algorithm with step length control and step reduction techniques is developed.The simulation results verify the high efficiency of the proposed energy sharing approach.Index Terms-Battery capacity rental,distributed solution algorithm,energy sharing,optimization,uncertainty. | Bo Wang Cuo Zhang Chaojie Li Xiangjing Su Zihang Qiu Zhao Yang Dong | 2023 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,4: | 0 |

| 10 | A SKIROC2-based prototype electronics system for silicon PIN array显示文摘Background Silicon PIN(Si-PIN)diode has been widely used in high-energy physics experiments.The next-generation experiments ask for a large amount of the Si-PIN diode arrays,leading to a requirement for the electronics system with features of higher integration and lower power consumption than the traditional ones.Purpose The aim was to design and implement a prototype of multi-channel electronic system,which is based on the SKIROC2 ASIC.The system is also considered as the pre-research of the silicon–tungsten(Si-W)ECAL for CEPC.Methods The prototype is divided into two parts,so that it has the potentiality for the expansion of more readout channels.The front-end board(FEB),which carries a Si-PIN diode array and an ASIC of SKIROC2 on it,provides high voltage to the Si-PIN diodes and processes the signals as well.The FEB is configured by a data interface board(DIF)and sends data to the DIF,which then transfers data to PC via USB interface after packing process.Results The prototype electronics system has been implemented.The equivalent noise level of all the 64 channels is below 0.4 fC.The dynamic range is up to+3000 fC with an integral nonlinearity(INL)of 0.2%,and the gain non-uniformity is better than 5%.The energy resolution with 59 keV X-rays from 241Am is about 13.3%(in RMS),while the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)reaches about 10.9 for minimum ionizing particles(MIPs).Conclusion In this paper,a SKIROC2-based prototype electronics system for Si-PIN array,as well as the performance test,has been presented.The system has features of high integration,low noise,and high dynamic range.The SKIROC2,as well as the design concept of the electronics system,can be applied to the preliminary prototype Si-W ECAL of CEPC. | Siyuan Ma Shubin Liu Hao Liu Zihang Fang Cheng Li Changqing Feng Qi An | 2018 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2018,2,2: | 0 |
| 11 | SETD2 mediates immunotherapy and radiotherapy efficacy via regulating DNA damage responses and genomic stability in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘SETD2 is the main transferase for the trimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 36 (H3K36me3) in mammals. SETD2 plays important role in repairing DNA double strand breaks and maintaining chromatin integrity.1 In renal carcinoma, SETD2 deficiency caused DNA replication fork instability and DNA damage.2 The absence of SETD2 was also reported to have strong tumor-promoting effects in lung adenocarcinomas (LUAD).3 However, the other roles of SETD2 remain poorly understood in LUAD. In this study, we utilized comprehensive omics-data analysis to determine that SETD2 was associated with DNA damage and immune-related signals in LUAD. SETD2 knockdown induced DNA damage and cGAS activation in LUAD cells, and reduced the number of cells at the G1 phase. Moreover, SETD2 deficiency was conducive to mutation burden, immune cell infiltration, and immunotherapy responses. High SETD2 expression was associated with high radiocurability.
